Hadyn woke to the distant sound of the bathtub running and a bang-bang-bang that sounded vaguely similar to someone knocking on the...
The door! Someone was at the door! With a gasp, the redhead flung himself out of bed without realizing his legs were hopelessly tangled in the sheets. He ended up falling flat on his face with a yelp as he bashed his chin on the floor, and wriggled around in the mass of blankets and sheets, struggling to untangle his legs. He had little success, and eventually grabbed the lot and ripped it off, stumbled to his feet and ran down the stairs as quickly as he could. As a result, the redhead sounded like a herd of elephants and didn't realize that he'd ended up yanking his sleeping pants off in the process of pulling off the sheets, leaving him only in the soft blue-and-purple shirt he liked to sleep in, which went only partway down his thighs and in danger of exposing himself if he wasn't careful.
The redhead gasped out, "I'm coming!" as he hit the foot of the stairs, stubbed his toe and hopped around for a minute holding the damaged appendage. His wound was quickly forgotten, and the human flung the door open, panting, flushed, and looking like he'd just crawled out of bed. His legs were exposed nearly to the hip and his hair was messy; definitely 'bedhead', curls everywhere. He stared in surprise at the stranger at his door, not recognizing him. Where had he come from? The human's brows furrowed and he scanned the drive, looking for a vehicle. There was none. Who was this man? "Um, hi," he greeted lamely, smiling at him. Wow, this man was dressed oddly. And he was very pale. "can I help you?"

Worso found himself quite relaxed as he laid back in the bathtub now filled with water. To avoid any risks, he was still in his human form. His thoughts were mainly focusing on what would happen later today. Which encouraged him to speed up his taking a bath. Instead of lounging as he would have, he hurried his bath up a bit. He made sure to wash himself properly before he moved to exit the bathtub. Something he did in a matter of minutes. Exiting the bathtub and heading to get dressed.
Meanwhile, the unexpected guest downstairs found himself greeted by a very appealing site. A human, no doubt about that, who seemed only half dressed. He'd be lucky if a random breeze came by. Those were bad thoughts to have though, he needed to focus. He came here to find Worso, not to flirt with a human. That was something he could always do later.
"Hello," He greeted with a smile, sparing a quick look over the human before him. "I think you can...help me." Oh, that didn't quite came with the right thought. But honestly, with the way this human looked, one had to think he had a very good bout of sex. "By any chance, do you know anyone by the name of Worso?" If he was lucky he didn't have to go searching elsewhere. He was sure the merman wouldn't get far in this heat. So he had to be here, if not in the nearest body of water. That previous thought of his, of what the human looked like, had him wondering if he had done anything with the merman. He didn't really imagine it, but he could be wrong.

Hadyn returned the smile, noting absentmindedly that it was a bit chilly outside. He hadn’t expected that, not what with how warm it had been outside lately, but he felt quite a bit chillier than he usually would. In all actuality, it wasn’t that the temperature was any lower today than it had been earlier, it was just that he was not wearing pants. Luckily for his rather lecherous visitor, Hadyn wasn’t the most world-wise in the way of double entendres, and so the comment about helping him went over the human’s head entirely. “I…do, actually. Do you know him?” He hadn’t thought that Worso had any family nearby, but this man didn’t look related to him. “I…I’m sorry! I’m so rude. Here, would you like to come in?” Still smiling, Hadyn opened the door wider and stepped aside. Really, he was being rude, not inviting his guest in immediately! “Would you like anything to drink..? Coffee, tea, juice..?”

Getting dressed just took a few minutes. Soon enough, Worso was in a shirt and pants. Then slipping into his shoes. Now seemed like a good time to head downstairs. Maybe Hadyn was up, or maybe he wasn't. He would see. He already moved to exit the room, heading out into the hall. But he froze there. Did he hear...voices?
Hadyn, he was up, but he was talking to someone. Who though. He fond himself heading towards the kitchen, but stopping just before he walked in. He didn't want to be seen. Mostly due to the voice he heard. It sounded familiar, and he wasn't sure he was comfortable with whoever this was. But this couldn't be someone he knew, right?
Lithius was a bit disappointed. This human here was oblivious. Unaware of what he offered. Innocent. So, it was most likely he hadn't slept with the merman. "I do know him...he's a good friend." He wasn't exactly. But the human didn't need to know that. Besides, he was inviting him in.
What were these drinks he was naming? "I appreciate the invite." He spoke, walking into the humans home. "I don't think you'd have what I want to drink." Which was only one thing at the moment. Something coursing through the humans veins. But. he couldn't go revealing what he was. Not yet at least.
"Some tea would be nice." He knew what that much was. He just wondered what kind this human had.
"So, how did you meet him?" He referred to Worso of course.

Hadyn of course had no clue that Worso was out of the tub, much less that he was listening in the hall. He’d thought it strange to have someone show up here, but any suspicion he’d felt had dissipated once the man said he was a good friend of Worso. Worso must have called him or something and he’d come to see his friend. That was fine with Hadyn; having one person for company was no issue, so why would two be a problem? Maybe he would make friends with them, and they could visit him in the future! That would be very nice.
He glanced with puzzlement at his new acquaintance. “Well, alright. Oolong, green, or black tea?” He assumed the young man meant hot tea; he put some water on and got out his tea strainer. Hadyn liked to make his tea without bags. After he was told what his guest would prefer, he set about making his own tea and his guest’s. “Oh,” he said, suddenly. “I’m sorry; I’m Hadyn. It’s nice to meet you,…?”
Hadyn smiled. “He offered to help me carry something in town. He’s really a very nice young man. There are no hotel rooms left in the Inn, so I offered to allow him to stay with me.”

The options Lithius was given made no difference. "Whatever you prefer." He didn't know the difference. He thought this human would choose something good.
Now standing there, taking a moment to look around again, he wondered where Worso was. His scent was definitely here, or had been... Or was close by? Was he somewhere nearby. He smirked, he felt,m or rather smelt his scent wasn't far. Well, why was it he didn't show himself.
"Hadyn." He spoke the humans name, looking back towards him. "I'm Lithius, its a pleasure to meet you, cutie." He really thought this human was a sight to behold. How he wished a nice breeze would come by. Or maybe, some little accident. Damn. He supposed he just wouldn't get to get a close and personal look, not yet. Maybe later. Definitely later.
A very nice young man. Lithius could have scoffed. Not that Worso was bad. He just, didn't think so highly of him. Not at the moment. "Oh, no hotels you say." He frowned at that last bit. "Seems I'm in a jam then." He had a reason for saying that. He didn't plan to go anywhere, not without getting done, what he wanted to first.
"Hey, out of curiosity, I was wondering, have you noticed anything odd about Worso?" He had to know something else. If this human, knew what Worso was. He didn't know how humans would take to finding out what that boy was. Well, he himself was a Vampyre. He was familiar with some human stories on what they seemed to relate to.
Let's just say, Lithius didn't expect to tell a group of people what he was. He didn't need a mob trying to stake him. And he would imagine Worso would be exploited. Half human, half fish. It was quite a sight.

Hadyn made them both cups of black tea; it was his personal favorite, and this early in the morning—as sleepy as Hadyn was—he felt that he needed the strong flavors of the black tea. He fixed his as he liked it, and then provided cream and sugar for his guest to doctor his own however he might choose to. He returned his guest’s smile, and his face suffused with color when it registered that Lithius had called him—cutie! “I—Ah—here’s your tea,” he tried to cover his own embarrassment by setting down Lithius’ cup before him, and then took his own seat across the small round table.
Concern soon overtook the embarrassment and Hadyn leaned forward with a small frown, his eyebrows drawing close together. “You haven’t a place to stay? Well, you’ll simply have to stay here. It’s really no trouble to house two instead of one! I’ve got plenty of space.” He smiled kindly at Lithius and reached across the table to pat his guest on the hand, his own warm and slightly calloused from work.
Lithius asked him a new question then, and one that made Hadyn redden and glance away a bit shyly. He would have to be careful how he answered—he didn’t want to offend anyone. “Well…” Hadyn stalled, toying with his cup and curling his fingers through the line of steam coming up out of it. “He’s a very sweet young man, but…very…naïve. It’s…as though he hasn’t gotten out very much. And his tattoo is—very interesting. I have never seen someone with a full body tattoo. It must have hurt a great deal.”

Worso couldn't say he was proud of eavesdropping, but he wanted to know what was going on before he entered. And he found he didn't like what he was hearing. Hadyn was far too kind. Letting Lithius stay here. He didn't really have anything against him. But he felt he would only complicate things. Like the fact he was trying to keep what he was a secret. He knew exactly what Lithius was, and he wasn't sure how that would work out.
With the fact that there was only him, and Hadyn, being the only human, or human like beings about. He could only imagine the vampyre's option with feeding. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to feed soon.
It wasn't his intention to hear about him. So, Hadyn thought he was naive. He couldn't help a faint blush at that. He wasn't naive, just unfamiliar with human things. And he seemed to think, his skin color was a tattoo. He hoped Lithius wouldn't say anything against that.
Lithius loved that look. When the human turned red. He really would love to have the humans lithe figure in his arms. Man. He really hoped he got lucky. "Thanks for the tea." He referred to the cup given. "You're awfully, kind, you know that." This human, it would be a crime not to take advantage of him.
Taking the cup up now, he simply stared down at it for a bit. Hearing the humans next words. So, Worso was still worso. He didn't expect to hear him being rude. The boy was pretty, calm and collected. He wanted to chage that.It irked and irritated him. Wait. A tattoo. Did he hear right? So, the human knew nothing. That he had a merman living in his home. He couldn't help the random chuckle he gave then.
"Oh, yes, I'm sure that would have hurt, but did you ever consider...he might have a skin condition." He just found the very idea of a giant tattoo to be, rather out there. A skin condition could be more believable. But no, really, he didn't care. He was just having fun with this.
"I don't suppose it matters though." He was moving on with the subject. "So, tell me, do you have a girlfriend, or a...boyfriend." Really, he was going out there, to see if he had any chance with this human. If not to simply bother the merman. His scent was still close. He had to be in hearing range. He wanted to see, when he would come to react to this. Or just show himself.

Hadyn smiled slightly, waving a hand as if to physically brush off the thanks. “No need. I was going to make tea, anyways. I don’t mind sharing at all.” He sipped the tea and hummed lightly, enjoying the pleasant flavor. Lithius’ statement about kindness startled a laugh out of the human. “No! Not kind. I’m not doing anything that anyone else wouldn’t do. It’s just common courtesy.” It wasn’t, of course, and Hadyn knew it; but he thought that it ought to be. Since he thought it ought to be, Hadyn liked to act as though it actually was that way, in the hopes that it would catch on and others would do the same. So far, that hadn’t worked.
The redhead gave his peculiar guest a puzzled look when the man chuckled for no apparent reason, but said nothing about it. Then Lithius was speaking, and he tilted his head, thoughts of the man’s oddity gone. “Well…I suppose that’s possible. But it would be rude to ask, and I don’t want to make assumptions that might sound mean.” Hadyn couldn’t think of any skin condition that resulted in green skin, though. Maybe rot. But then he would be dead. Hadyn shivered a bit, grossed out by the thought. He liked his full body tattoo theory much better.
Lithius changed the subject fairly quickly, and Hadyn laughed a bit, shaking his head. “No, neither. Why do you ask?”

Lithius found he was fond of this human. If only because of his looks. Well, he had a nice personality. He liked that to. One he could take advantage of. He really was polite. Not wanting to ask any rude questions. And the question he asked, referring to him being with someone, he couldn't help but smile. It was suppose to be a smirk, but he didn't want to look like he was up to something, even if he was.
"Well, I was wondering who was lucky enough to be that close to you." He certainly wouldn't mind. He would have to see, if he could work on that. But first, he thought it was about time Worso came in. "Do you hear that?" He asked a question, looking in the direction that lead into the kitchen, I think I hear Worso coming." He moved, as if to check, and that was all he needed to do. He only took two steps, before the merman showed himself.
Worso couldn't hide anymore. He had to step out, as soon as he heard what Lithius said. He knew he did that on purpose. "Good morning," he acted as if he had just come. Managing an ever so faint smile.
"Long time no see, Worso." Lithius spoke, smiling at him.
"Yes, it has been awhile, Lithius." he recalled the male well enough. He really didn't see why he was here. He had no business with him.
"Did you hear Worso, your lovely friend here has allowed me to stay." Lithius was rubbing that in, he could tell, the Merman wasn't excited to see him.
"Really, that is kind of him." From what Worso knew of humans, the stories he recalled, it most definitely was.
"I insist, I pay you back somehow," He spoke to Hadyn now. "I just have to say, I don't do well under the sun for long periods of time, I can however work throughout the night." He could put up with the day, he just rather not. His skin, wasn't as pale as it was, because he stuck to the sunlight.
