Worso had his gaze intently set on what seemed to be the possible movies they could see, He was really looking forward to seeing one of them, any one of them. So, when he heard Hayden indicate one of the movies about, he had no problem with it. "That's fine with me." He spoke with a faint smile, looking to the other male. He was quite curious as to what this movie was like. The poster he had seen for it, certainly looked...interesting. He couldn't begin to guess what it was about. Just that it had something to do with whatever those things were on the poster.
Seeing the concession stand, Worso found himself very curious as to what it was exactly. Taking in what he saw. It seemed to be a place food was sold. Hearing what the human said, only confirmed his thoughts. He could order something. Well, if he could then he would. He took a moment to look about. Noting the names of what was being sold was on a sign above. He wasn't going to order something he didn't see himself though. "I'd just like that stuff." He pointed towards a container with yellow stuff popping around. From the name on a sign he saw on it, it seemed to be called popcorn. He wondered what it tasted like, so why not try it. "And if possible, I'd like something to drink." After being outside in the heat, he liked to take the chance to drink some liquid. "Anything is fine with me." He added that in case he asked. Hopefully that was alright. "Thank you." He uttered a quick thanks, appreciating how the human seemed so willing to assist him, since coming here, as well as how he offered to do all these things with him.

Hadyn wasn't surprised by Worso's decision to have popcorn. Most everybody he knew seemed to like the stuff; it must be the crunch, he thought, since it didn't have a whole lot of taste. There was something satisfying about popping something small and crunchy into your mouth and munching it. He followed up with ordering Worso some of the blue raspberry flavored slushie, and got the cherry for himself. "We can share, if you want, so you can decide which one you like best." He also bought a candy or two, so they could have something sweet between the popcorn.
He smiled. "You're welcome." The theatre darkened soon, and the credits began to roll; people fell quiet as the movie began.

Worso was very much looking forward to trying all the edible items that Hadyn had seen. He had never seen them on his world, so why would he not look forward to it. Though in general, he wasn't one to show much enthusiasm. He just genuinely found himself looking forward to this. Now don't think he was jumping up and down, like a child excited to get a piece of candy they very much longed for. It was more like, he was looking forward to it and didn't think to show it. He really had no reason to. He was fine with just giving a faint smile and a thanks. That was enough to show his excitement. That and perhaps some curiosity he had towards this or that.
Seeing when they came into the theater, Worso was quick to look around. He noted the fact the room was dark and it had a big screen in it. He had enough common sense to figure out how this might work. All the same, he paid close attention after taking his seat with Hadyn. Keeping in mind what he said towards sharing what they had. It made sense. He didn't know what all the consumables tasted like, so if he didn't like it, he would know and it wouldn't go to waste. That was, if Hadyn would eat the rest.
So, far as the movie went, he found the food and the drinks to be to his liking. He also found the movie to be quite...interesting. He wondered if he could comment, but he noted how quiet the majority of the people the the room was, and got the message that talking would not be appreciated. Though he noted there were the occasional exclamations and laughs at this scene or that. He supposed even he found some of it humorous. But more often then not, he found himself raising a brow. Not that he didn't like it. He just had to take a moment to think on it before finding it humorous.

Hadyn enjoyed the show and laughed softly at the appropriate times, sharing the food and drink with his guest. After it finished, he waited for the others to leave before he stood and stretched slowly, smiling. “What did you think, Worso?” He looked at his companion, gathering their trash up and walking slowly out of the room. He deposited their trash in the trash cans and ambled towards the door. “I hope you had fun. I need to go home now, but we don’t have to hurry. He smiled at him, having enjoyed the movie and the time spent with someone other than himself very much. He went towards the doors and walked outside, slowly going back towards the truck.

Worso found himself thinking back on the movie as he came to stand up with Hadyn. Seeing the movie was over and seeing how everyone took their leave. Her had to think, overall, that it was a rather amusing movie. In ways he didn't entirely get though. But he figured the parts where everybody laughed, were suppose to be humorous. He figured he needed the kind of sense of humour that these humans had.
"The movie was humorous." He would admit, that there were parts even he found amusing. He in general was glad to have gotten to see the movie with the human he was with. Whether he understood the entire move did not matter. "I thank you once again for taking me here." He spoke this, thinking there really wasn't any way he could show his appreciation. Not any other way besides his words.
"I did have fun." He gave a slight nod as he spoke, noting what Hadyn had said towards having to go home. "If you must go home, then that is fine with me." It wasn't like he needed to go somewhere. He in general, hoped to be able to spend more time with the human he was with. He supposed he shouldn't have reason to care either way though.
As long as the merman had a place to stay, what went on with the human, was none of his concern. "I am glad, I got to spend this time with you, I'm willing to do whatever you would care to now." He still would have liked to go other places, but only when Hadyn had time to. Otherwise, he was wondering if there was anything he could do to assist him. It was the only way to show he did care about what went on with him.

Hadyn glanced at Worso and chuckled softly, amused by his choice of words. What a peculiar young man; when was the last time Hadyn had heard anyone under the age of forty use the word ‘humorous’ to describe a movie? It was odd how formally Worso spoke; always formal, always careful in his choice of words. The trait was an oddly endearing one, and it brought a smile to his face. The engineer could appreciate that trait in a man. In anyone, really, but he truly did admire those who were well-spoken. “Indeed it was,” he agreed, and touched Worso’s shoulder. “You don’t have to thank me, you know. I’m just glad that you had a good time.”
He cast an apologetic look to his companion, feeling bad for having to cut this little outing short. “I’m sorry for cutting this short. I just have to take care of the animals. We’re coming up on a show and then a fair, and I need them to do well because that’s what I do for a living. I intend to list a few animals for sale, soon.” He smiled apologetically, but there really wasn’t much he could do. Every little bit of training counted, after all. Hadyn slid his arm around Worso’s and ambled towards the truck, thinking.
They reached the truck and Hadyn got in and started it up, smiling at the loud roar of the engine. He needed a new truck, soon. Hadyn had been putting it off for a while; not for lack of money, but simply because he really did like that truck; it was charming in its own way, he thought with a fond smile at the hunk of rusting metal. The truck sputtered a few times, backfired, and then rumbled along, headed home.

The last thing Worso wanted to do was seem...even more out of place then he was already. It was how he felt as he watched the movie. Seeing so many unfamiliar things as he had, he was sure he didn't quite respond appropriately. He would have just hoped that his response to the movie wasn't too out of place. Or however it was best put.
Hearing what Haydn said, in agreement, made him smile a bit. So, he hadn't thought his words odd. He did not see why he shouldn't thank him. He wasn't thinking to argue or say anything against it. It seemed like just a way to waste time.
The apology was unexpected. "You needn't apologize, I'm glad you could spare time for me." Really, he didn't expect so much from the human. He would have been grateful, with just having a room over his head. If he didn't he would have opted towards staying in the water, for the majority of his visit here. He had to come out and look around sometime, right.
It was appreciated though, that Haydn seemed to care enough to apologize. He couldn't say why, but he really had taken a liking to this human. He supposed it made sense. So when he felt the others arm around him, he didn't think anything negative of it, or anything in general really. He wasn't the type to overreact though. He would however, assume he wouldn't just let any human get so close to him.
Once again, as Worso rode in the truck, he kept his gaze looking outside. But for awhile, finding his thoughts wandering towards the human, he looked his way. Considering his words. It really sounded like the human was a busy person. How he had time for him, he couldn't help but wonder. He would hope to ask for details on what he mentioned earlier. He did wonder if he could do anything to assist.

The redhead was relieved to hear that Worso wasn't upset about him not being able to do more than just this. He cast the young man a smile, grateful for his understanding. "Alright," he murmured softly, canting his head towards Worso as they walked. "Thank you for understanding." Some people would not have been so understanding, and might have given Hadyn trouble over it.
Hadyn parked the truck and got out, reaching into the back to gather the grocery bags and carried them inside, beginning to put the dry goods away in the pantry. He loved his pantry; it was a walk-in, very large with wide, convenient shelves which made it very easy to find anything that he needed. The job took little time and soon Hadyn was walking back out, putting on his steel-toed boots. He liked wearing those for safety when working around the horses; he'd had one step on his foot one time, and it was an experience he was eager to avoid in the future. "Worso," he called, "I'm going out to work the animals, now!" He proceeded out of the house and began the walk towards the barn.

Worso really didn't think he needed a thanks. He considered saying that as well, but then he reconsidered. No reason to make the conversation last. He understood what the human referred to. He at least had no intention of giving him a difficult time. He was merely grateful he could be a guest here.
Seeing they arrived, Worso go out of the vehicle. Thinking to assist Hadyn if possible. He saw it seemed he managed to pack everything well enough on his own. He moved to go inside then and waited. If he was needed for anything then he would assist. He supposed he should have expected, when the other was done, that he would go to the animals. "Alright, let me know if there is anything I can do to help." He called this out, wanting the other to know he would if he needed some assistance.
Considering he was around, Worso thought why not take advantage of his being here. He found the human awfully kind not to do that. If Hadyn hadn't taken the other male in, he couldn't say where he would be. He could guess. But when it came to being housed, he might not have come across anyone else that would help him.

Hadyn smiled at him as he left, the door already open. "Alright, but I got it!"
His work took him outside, and Hadyn spent the next several hours working hard. When he finally came back in, chores and training finished for the day, the sun was beginning to go down and the redhead was flushed. His shirt clung to his chest, soaked through with sweat. The tired man came in and toed his boots off at the door, trudging in slowly. One of the colts, a son of Warlock named Sorcerer, had been a pain today. The colt was spirited, but would definitely not be gelded with his looks and personality. As stubborn and hot as he could be, he was sweet for the most part; today, though he had spooked when a rabbit had darted in front of him, and Hadyn had been thrown painfully when the horse had decided to bolt and had run under a low hanging branch.
He went to the kitchen, pulling his shirt off along the way. The wet material was tossed carelessly into the laundry room as he passed, and he stopped at the sink to wash his hands and arms thoroughly. Once finished he bent over the sink and drank straight from the tap, tired and dehydrated.

Worso found himself feeling a bit useless, though the human had said he was fine by himself. Which he understood as, he could handle things on his own. Something that may have been for the best. Working underneath the hot sun would have surely caused him to dehydrate. Something he had to be careful of about here. The last thing he wanted to do was to pass out. That would surely be the end of him.
It seemed Worso had nothing to do but to wait for Hadyn to return. Well, he in general had nothing to do. He didn't mind going out to the water now, but he didn't think now was a good time. So he had gone up to his bedroom and went ahead, taking another bath for the day. Any chance he had to laze about in the water was wonderful to him. It was how he could drift off in the tub. Having him wake up quite some time later.
The first thing Worso did upon getting up was get himself dressed, then he came to lay across the bed. He really wasn't sure what else he could do. He would have to talk to Haydn about that later. To see if there was anything he could to to occupy himself. He also wondered if there was any chance to visit those creatures he believed were called chickens. He really would have liked to see those baby ones. Thinking about it, he wondered if it would have been alright to go back himself. He would look into that later.
It seemed at some point, Worso was sure he heard some noise downstairs. It caused him to exit his room barefoot. Heading downstairs to look into it. "Hello." He called out, moving to head to the kitchen. That was where he thought he heard something going on.

By the time Worso arrived in the kitchen, Hadyn was bent over the sink running the taps on cold, head and shoulders under the stream of water. His hair streamed down on either side of his head like a little waterfall of blood, hair darker than usual with the water and straightened out from its usual curls with the weight to pool on the bottom of the sink. He straightened when Worso's voice reached him, panting softly; his hair clung to the bared skin of his shoulders and chest, still pink with sunburn and now soaking wet. The water ran down his body to soak the top of his pants and the human blinked at Worso for a moment, then smiled tiredly. "Hey, Worso."

Worso noted the other person inside Hadyn's home was Hadyn himself. He couldn't help but smile, just a bit when he saw him from afar. As he entered him, seeing him straighten from the sink, his breath caught. He couldn't exactly say why, it was just the way the human looked. He couldn't quite put it into words, there was just something about the way he looked overall.
There seemed to be a brief moment of silence before Worso spoke."You seem tired." He spoke, noting how Hadyn came to smile in a tired manner. "Is there something I can do for you?" The question came to him, considering that it seemed like the right thing to offer. He had to wonder how the human managed to stay out in the sun so long. Although he had offered to help, he wasn't sue he would have lasted out there long.

Hadyn wiped some water from his eyes, nodding. "I am. Had lots of stuff to get done." With a sigh, he rolled his neck and shoulders, trying to work the kinks out. It didn't work, and he figured it would take a while before the stiffness wore off. It was typical, especially after a day like this. It felt good, though; he liked the feeling he got after a long days' hard work. Hadyn was surprised by the offer and seriously considered it. Sighing and offering a smile, Hadyn answered gratefully. "If you wouldn't mind, I'd love some help with dinner."
Between the two of them, cooking took little time, and cleaning up even less. Hadyn went to bed early, promising Worso, "Tomorrow is all yours to explore the town. Promise." with a smile as he went upstairs.

Worso had been happy to know he could do something for Hadyn. Well, help him. The other still did things. But it was something they both seemed to do quickly. Getting to eat another delicious meal made by the human. The promise given wasn't expected, but one that had a lingering smile set upon his lips all the same. He found himself heading straight to bed with the intention of falling asleep. He supposed he wouldn't be going off anywhere by himself tomorrow. That lake area would have to wait. Strangely, he found he was fine with that. It didn't take him long to fall asleep. Before he knew it, he was waking up and staring up at the ceiling. He slept in nothing but the boxers he had once more. Finding it was a lot cooler that way. He didn't bother with covering himself either, so it was no surprise when he noted the covers were off. For a moment Worso lingered in the bed he slept in. Finding his thoughts not quickly going back to what was said last night. When they did however, go to back to that moment. He found himself sitting up and heading straight to the bathroom. He was going to take a quick bath, and then see what Hadyn was up to. Meanwhile, actually some time over night. An unexpected guest was quite a ways from the premises. A young man, well, about in his twenties, had arrived on a ship. Not one of the sky either, but one that traveled the skies. And it made sure to land a way from civilization. Where it cloaked itself just to be sure. As soon as the ship had landed, it seemed only moments before the man, a Vampyre, stepped out of the ships confines. His name was Lithius and he had come here for a reason. Having heard a certain someone, a merman to be precise, was residing somewhere about here. He had a good look at the layout of the land from above, and he considered himself lucky, there was just one place about he could be at. Away from town but not too far from water. That was where Lithius intended to go. The walk there was well worth it, though it took awhile, but he had the energy, along with a path with things, that included water, to help out. It seemed no time at all, though it was, he started at some point at night, thinking he'd make good time, and avoid traveling in the heat, if he walked with enough time to get there as the sun rose. It seemed odd enough to get there too early, or so he thought, so he wanted to be there at just the right time. That was when Lithius knocked on the front door to the place he was sure Worso was in. Not just because of what he theorized. But he picked up a communicator being here. Which was pretty advanced technology, something only an off worlder had. He had to be here. So, with a pack over his shoulder, with his things in it, he waited patiently for someone to answer the door.
