He waved the apology away; he knew he hadn't meant to do it. It hadn't been that big of a scare, anyways. "It's nothing, don't worry about it. I know you didn't mean to," He smiled, "I'm just so used to being alone at home. Here, eat," He motioned to the food, and then smiled. "Okay!" He poured more orange juice and set the glass before Worso, closed the cap and put it away. Quickly he sat down and began eating, himself. He was sort of getting tired of hot breakfasts, he thought. Perhaps he would switch to cold cereals for a time, the human pondered. He could go to the store later today, after taking care of the animals. "Worso, would you like," he paused to take a drink of his orange juice, "to go to the store with me later? I need to pick up some cold cereals."
When they finished breakfast, he took care of dishes and hurried to pull on his steel toed work boots. He wore them around the animals because you never knew when one of the horses wouldn't notice where his foot was and would step on it. With animals that big, such an occurrence would be exceedingly painful. He called to his houseguest, "I'm going to take care of the animals, I'll be back in whenever I'm finished!" And out he went to feed and water everybody and then let the horses out to pasture, followed by mucking out the stalls and gathering eggs from the chickens.

Worso went ahead and ate merely giving a slight nod of his head towards what Hadyn said. At least it wasn't a problem. Now he enjoyed the food he had made for him to eat as well and sipped some of his drink when he received it. While he was eating he heard the beginning of a question from the human he was with and looked at him curious. Go with him to a store. Well he supposed that was better then staying here. "I would like to go, I thank you for inviting me." He managed a faint smile as he looked his way before returning to the food he had set before him. He would have to thank him once more for helping him out so much. He really would have liked to offer a bit more assistance to him then but the thought of doing anything out in the sun to dehydrate him had him backing off before thinking to really offer to do anything outside for the day. He had a feeling he was going to be outside.
It seemed when breakfast was done and over with that Worso hadn't been mistaken. He saw that Hadyn was quick to get ready after they were done. He watched from the table he still found himself seated at as he eventually saw him make his exit. He just gave a slight nod to what he heard before standing up and deciding to take a bath. He didn't think to waste anytime with having a moment to relax in the water while the human was out. This thought was more then enough to send Worso straight towards the bathroom in the room he resided in. Something that didn't take long as he was quick to undress and turn on the water and then eventually settle into the water.

He smiled. "It's fine." He really didn't think of it as much of a favor. He was just inviting Worso out of courtesy and because it was nice to have company to do things like that.
His chores were completed quickly and efficiently, but he still was in desperate need of a shower afterwards. He went upstairs and did so, changing into some comfortable and form fitting slacks with a red button up shirt which looked good on him, and went downstairs to prepare lunch. After they got back, he would have to go back outside and train Victoria some. She needed to be worked with under saddle on a regular basis to continue advancing, after all.
Lunch was quick and easy; leftover potato salad and chicken sandwiches. He went upstairs and knocked on Worso's door, calling, "Worso? Lunch is ready!"

Worso found himself sitting or rather laying back in the tub but this time keeping to his human form. His legs sometimes seemed both helpful and troublesome sometimes. That is to say he found a tail more efficient in the water. That was all. He like being able to walk on land so he never came to think negatively of them. He didn't focus his thoughts on that though. His gaze wandered on them for a moment before looking up towards the ceiling once again seemingly lost in thought. He seemed to do that every now and then. Like now his thoughts seemed to wander off in the direction of what was going back on his home planet. Or in general things that weren't on this planet. He wondered how long he would have to deal with all of this. Not that he minded so much with the human here but still he had to wonder.
It was with these thoughts he seemed to have drifted off. He knew this because it wasn't too long before he woke up again. Realizing the once warm water had gone cold. He supposed that was more then enough to tell him it was time to get up. He was quick to get up and let the water drain out. He wrapped a towel about him then as he went to dry off and exited the bathroom with the intention of getting dressed. Although he was fine with no clothes he had to get dressed. It seemed a must on this planet as far as he knew. So he was quick about dressing in boxers, a pants and a shirt then leaving it at that. The pants he wore was a black one. The shirt he wore was great. He didn't give a thought to whether it matched. He didn't particularly care for fashion of any kind. He just made sure he was clothes and left it at that like he was now.
Unsure of what to do at first Worso settled with resting on the bed. He wasn't sure how long he went about laying there but it seemed sooner then later that he heard a knock and found himself getting up to open the door. Something he did as soon as he got to the door. He noted then and there that Hadyn was dressed in different clothes. "Thank you for informing me." He spoke, smiling a bit as he moved to exit the room with his shoes on. He intended to follow along with Hadyn though as he assumed they would both head to the kitchen.

Hadyn returned the smile and walked to the kitchen, where food was ready and set out. "We will eat lunch and then go out. When we get back home, I'll be going back to the barn. Victoria needs to be worked and trained some." He sat down and began eating, enjoying the food. Working outside like that always gave him an appetite. Come to think of it, the hard work was probably why he was so thin. Once they finished he loaded the dishwasher and put his shoes back on. "Ready to go?" He took up the keys from the key hook and tucked his wallet into his pocket, looking back ad Worso and waiting patiently with a pleasant smile.

Worso simply gave a nod towards what he heard was the plan. He wondered for a moment if he could help with anything, but if this went back to training an animal, he didn't think he could. Well, he didn't think to say anything more as they went on to eat together. He was just looking forward to going out. Although he didn't think himself fond of the sun out he didn't care to just be limited to this place, the lake, and nothing more. It was a nice change. Which was what Worso was thinking as they finished eating and he was asked if he was ready to go. "Yes, I'm ready." He spoke this thinking to just follow Hadyn outside now. He would have a chance to go into that vehicle again. He wasn't sure if he was excited about that or not, but it wasn't like he had a problem with it. It was far better then walking.

The redhead nodded, pushing his hair back behind his shoulder. "Okay!" He opened the door and went out; shortly he was in the truck with the engine running, and they were on their way! He didn't have a whole lot he needed to get, but he did have some things to get. The drive was quiet, but not uncomfortably so. Hadyn rather thought it was a comfortable, compatible silence as opposed to an oppressive or tense one. He didn't really have anything to say, sure, but it was alright, he thought.
When they arrived he climbed out and closed the heavy door of the old truck and walked towards the store. It was one of those small, privately owned grocers; quaint and pleasant. He retrieved a cart and began shopping. "Worso, just pick up anything you want," he told him. It wasn't as though Hadyn had no money, after all.

Worso did indeed get to ride in the vehicle again. And it wasn't bad. He was enjoying the view he received as Hadyn drove along. He got to see the scenery pass by at a rather fast pace. Or however fast the human was going. He really didn't know how these things worked so he couldn't tell. He didn't care to find out either. As long as he was safe here with the human he didn't think it mattered. Once he left this planet he knew he wouldn't come across one of these...things again. He wasn't quite sure what it was called. Not the exact name at least. He knew it was a vehicle. He believed Hadyn had told him but if he had it slipped his mind and he wasn't thinking to ask to find out. He supposed he could, to make conversation, but he didn't. He had no problem with how things were now. The quiet wasn't a bother so why disturb it.
The merman really was looking forward to getting to wherever they were going. A place he saw when they arrived. He was sure to get out and follow behind the human. All the while looking around at everything. Even while doing so he didn't miss what was said. "Alright." He thought to verbally respond, to show he heard. He didn't know what he could pick up though, so for now he just looked about as they went. If he didn't see anything he'd be fine with that. Besides this was his first time in a place like this so he wanted to see what it was like before doing anything else.

Hadyn hummed softly as he went around the store, picking up things here and there. Eventually they finished up and he went to pay, and picked up some of the paper bags to carry to the truck, smiling gratefully at Worso. "Thank you for coming with me. It's nice to have company." He really was grateful to the oddly colored young man. "Is there anything else you'd like to do, Worso, or anywhere you'd like to go?" The least he could do would be to offer to take him someplace, he thought!

Worso had to briefly wonder, as he walked around with Hadyn, if there were any other humans about to stare at him. He was sure he could have felt eyes on him but he chose to ignore it. It was a bit of a relief to walk out with Hadyn, after everything was bought. He wasn't expecting to be thanked. He was happy to have come along with the human. "You don't have to thank me, I should thank you for inviting me." He had to wonder now, what Hadyn thought of him. Or rather his complexion. He knew he didn't look like any other human. He had to wonder what the human told himself with explaining his looks. Well, he certainly wasn't thinking to ask. He just tried to focus on what was being said now. "I really don't know what else we could do or where else we could go." He had no problem saying that. Didn't the human already know he was knew here, in general. Though he was entirely new to this planet. The same applied to this town. How could he say he wanted to go anywhere, when he didn't know where he could go. "Is there a place we can go together, or something else we can do?" If there was, he wanted to know. He really didn't mind spending more time with Hadyn. He could honestly say he grew fond of the human. He couldn't say why exactly though. Perhaps because of how fond he was. In no time at all he could see himself displaying some sort of...affection was it. He wasn't sure. Just to physically show his appreciation. Being a merman that didn't necessarily mean anything that involved a bed.

His smile widened. Worso was so polite! It was a rare thing to find someone so very polite and courteous, even if he did have a strange full-body tattoo. Hadyn still thought that was rather odd, and wondered, not for the first time, how long it would have taken him to get the tattoo finished. And surely the tattoo didn't extend everywhere, right..? He winced at the thought. Ow. Hadyn was leery enough of getting a small tattoo on his arm, let alone all over his...ah...sensitive bits. Ouch.
He jumped a bit when Worso asked where else they could go, and he hummed thoughtfully. The groceries he had bought were all nonperishable, so, they had time. "Well, we could go to the bowling alley, or to a movie at the theatre, or mini-golfing. There's also the shopping mall, and the skating ring..." He wasn't really sure there was much else to do very close. "There are more things in the next town over, but we'd have to look some up." That would actually be fun. Maybe Worso would go to the opera or ballet with him? Or to a play, or to the orchestra.

Worso was really quite curious to hear about all these other places they could go to. Of course he listened intently to all that he said. He found himself quite curious about everything mentioned and wondered if they could give it all a try at some point. Since he was here, he might as well make the best of it. He wasn't familiar with any of it so he didn't want to seem odd. "I'd like to try everything once with you." He spoke this with a faint smile. It genuinely was something he found himself looking forward to. "Can we try this...movie thing you mentioned." He felt he had some idea of what that was. Thanks to the little bit he knew about this planet. As far as he knew it had something to do with moving pictures. He didn't have such on his planet. He really was curious as to what it was like to go to one. "If it's not too much trouble." He didn't want the human to go out of his way. He didn't care to have to do something he didn't want to do, so he certainly wasn't going to make someone else do otherwise.
"I also wouldn't mind doing whatever else we could do." He referred to looking things up now. He wanted to do all he could while he was on this planet. He hoped that wasn't too odd. "Only if you wish to though, I would just like to give everything a try with...you." He was about to say something about what he was, but then he stopped and ended with a simple reference to the human. Now he wondered what the human would do now. Hopefully they could do something together.

The redhead could tell that Worso was very interested and curious, and he returned the smile, feeling happy. It was nice that Worso wanted to try so many things, and that he didn't mind doing it with Hadyn. "Alright, I'd love that! A movie sounds nice." His smile widened and he automatically linked arms with Worso, not really thinking about it, and strolled down the road towards the theatre. It was a small town, after all, and just about everything was within reasonable walking distance. "No trouble at all, Worso. A movie sounds nice." As they walked, Hadyn began to animatedly talk about what movies had come out to theatres lately, and what he thought would be fun to watch.
A fifteen minute walk had them before the theatre; it only had four screens, and was visibly old; faded paint, some lights not working. A sleepy place, for a sleepy town. Not many people were there. "So, which one would you like to see, Worso?" Hadyn surveyed the movies playing, and looked at Worso. Worso was a guest, so it was only right that Hadyn allow him to choose!

Worso could honestly say he was excited about all of this. All that he imagined would happen. Especially when he heard Haydn agreed with it. He couldn't help the lingering smile that settled on his teal lips, matching his skin color. It was also nice to know the human really didn't mind. He didn't have to read his mind to see that he seemed to like the idea and looked forward to it. He really wasn't sure if they would be going now but it seemed so. He had no qualms when he felt the human link their arms together. He was still very much looking forward to what they were going to do, so why would he care. He found his dark mauve gaze set ahead as well as wandering towards Haydn as he heard him speak quite a bit, catching his interest with every word, about what they would see.
The merman couldn't say he was expecting what they saw as soon as they arrived at their destination. A big place that seemed far from new. He didn't care much for the appearance, really he didn't think anything of it. As long as he got to see this movie, it really didn't matter to him. He was wondering what Haydn would see when he heard the question asked. Was it up to him. "I'd love to see anything you want to." He honestly couldn't choose. He knew nothing about the movies, though Haydn had spoken quite a bit about them along their way here. He really wouldn't have cared if they chose a movie at random, just as long as he got to sit with the human and see something.

It was warm out as always, and Hadyn could feel himself beginning to perspire under the hot sun as they walked. He couldn't wait for the onset of fall, when temperatures would begin to drop, and it would become more pleasant. He enjoyed winter and falls around here; loved the crisp days and cold nights, and the snow. Especially the snow; he loved it. The horses liked the snow, too; the first snows always got Warlock frolicking in his pasture, kicking at the snow and running around. Hadyn enjoyed watching the horses enjoying the snow; it was especially fun to watch the foals seeing snow for the first time.
He glanced over at Worso and smiled. "Alright, how about this one, then?" He indicated to a comedy which had been advertized for months on the television, and which looked to be cute. It was the new Ice Age, the animated one. He purchased tickets for the two of them, and then led Worso inside and up to the concession stand. "Order whatever you like," he told Worso. "I'm paying." He smiled, and after they recieved their orders he led the odd young man to the appropriate theatre and selected seats in the general middle area, and munched popcorn while waiting for the previews to finish.
