"I didn't mean to worry you." Kayan stated softly absently rubbing Lemor's abdomen. "I don't want anything to happen to you or your little one. I'd never be able to forgive myself. I'm scared... I... I can't imagine what you are." He nibbled his lip."
///
Raen reached out towards Kahil when the other withdrew, reaching for a few strands of his hair. The kiss had been mind blowing and his body was already aching to do it again/ Something about Kahil drew him like a bee to honey and he couldn't stop himself. He didn't understand it, didn't know what it meant but... "This is where I'm supposed to apologise, right?" He asked softly. "But I don't regret it, Kahil. I want to do it again, and again, and again... if you'll let me."

"I....i'm terrified," he admitted. "I have so long to go before he's born....so long. I know you're supposed to stay relaxed and happy, but I can't help seeing the worst scenario...again." He murmured. He settled hsi hand over Kayans after a second, before smiling a bit. "But I know you're going through just as much as I am, and i'm glad i've got such a wonderful friend..."
///
His eyes went wide, and he lifted them shyly to search over Raen's face. He had so much..so.....What about Jermani? What would he think? He..he had liked Raen. He'd even asked earlier this morning when he would be coming over to eat...so...
"I....How can you like me? I'm so messed up...and...and Mani...we're not exactly the greatest pair.." He lowered his eyes, but didn't pull back from those fingers.

Kayan chewed his lip watching Lemor before dropping his forehead onto the others shoulder. "Your baby had better be ok because I'm not going to be the only one running around at night trying to deal with crying and screaming." He declared. More than anything in the world he wanted Lemor to have his little one because it meant so much to the other. Lemor wanted this more than anything and Kayan wanted Lemor happy.
///
"Messed up is the last expression I would use to describe you. It takes a lot of courage to raise a kit that is not your own and shows great love and dedication. You really should stop putting yourself down like this. Try have a little more confidence in your own self worth. You need to for yourself and Jermani. He needs stability and if you keep doubting yourself he is going to keep doubting you, you know. He picks up on it more than you would know. I think you tow are the perfect pair." He ruffled Kahil's hair again taking care not to be too invasive at the moment. He didn't want to hurt Kahil.

He laughed a bit, and pet Kayan's pretty hair. "Oh the joys. We're going to have so much fun when they get here," he grinned again. "We'll have to rearrange our entire sleeping schedule, and eating, and our mates are going to have fun changing diapers," he was now full of excitement rather than worry.
///
Kahil swallowed a painful lump. He wanted more than anything to cry right now, to cry and lean his body into Raen and thank him. No one had understood. Everything he'd done since the accident had been for Mani, and raising him right. And...he hadn't understood why the boy hated him. But now.....now...maybe things would get better. He just had to stop doubting why he had brought Jermani into his home. They were a family now. Mani was his son, and he had to be more confident in raising him, to raise him right.
He reached up and took the hand before it could leave his hair, and pressed it against his warm cheek. "Thank you...I...I think...I think Mani and I will be okay. Um...later...tonight..or something, did you want to come over for dinner?" He asked, swallowing again, past his tears, his eyes rising to Raen's once more. He was trying hard not to look away. The touch of the others skin on his cheek was wonderful and he was fast turning shy again.

Both of us
"Diapers?" Kayan pulled a face at the thought. He certainly hoped that Light was ok with cleaning those. He himself had had his fair share of messes to clean and he really wasn't all that keen to add diapers to the equation. "I think I'm having scond thoughts now." Kayan wrinkled his nose so hat it bunched up cutely on his face. "I don't think I'll be able to manage diapers." He shuddered.
///
Raen blinked in surprise when Kahil placed his hand against his cheek and his carress turned soft, a thumb travelling over the little skin he could reach while Kahil held his hand in place. "I know you and Jermani will be ok." He stated. "Even if it's a bumpy ok." He smiled. "The best things in life are never easy and you two at least have each other. There is nothing in life better than that." He tapped at Kahil's nose happy he could reach it. "And dinner would be loverly. I was wondering what to do as I'm a disaster in the kitchen and don;t like to eat out much."
~~~
He chuckled, and elbowed him gently. "Don't get second thoughts. Light will do it wih a smile on his face. He can't wait. Life-givers are strange like that." He pressed a finger to the wrinkled nose, grinning.
///
"Then you're in luck. I'll make something good. And....you can come over...when you like.." He knew he was reinstating an offer he'd already offered, but he felt like it. He wasn't quite sure if Jermani was ready to have a life-giver pressed into their life, but...Raen had sort of....made himself known and present, and then kissing him like that.....
"I have to open soon, and we'll be swamped so...." His eyes diverted. "If....if you....um....want another..." He bit his lip. "kissyouhavetodoitnow." He breathed in a rush, squirming, turning red.
~~~
"But how will he manage so many diapers?" Kayan protested in sudden realisation. Suddenly he was woozy at the thought rocking a little in place. Three kits... three times as many diapers meaing he would... he would...
///
Raen blinkde in shock at Kahil's stinged together suggestion. He had kissed Kahil on a strange sudden impulse and certainly hadn;t expected the motion to be returned. Now that it was he felt heat pooling in his abdomen, crying for satisfaction. He traced Kahil's lip ansently, watching the flesh shift beneath his carass before bending down and claiming Kahil's lips without another word. The lifebearer wanted this and who was he to deny it when he wanted it too.
~~~
"Oh, there won't be that many. I'm sure your kit won't be creating a mess every minute. Don't worry, Light will do fine." He smiled, glancing at his friend, a little bit of worry entering his gaze. Kayan looked dizzy....
///
His eyes closed and Kahil left go of Raens hand. Instead, his arms slowly crept up about a neck. This time, he contributed to the kiss, all but melting on the spot. Raen trully was good at this....He hadn't meant to lose every sense. To have his mind completely swept blank, but he had no choice, because somehing inside had clicked, and it felt more than right to be right here, kissing this man, lost.
~~~
Kayan whimpered glancing at Lemor from beneath stray strands of hair. "How much mess do more than one together make?" He asked meekly.
///
Raen nipped and nibbled at Kahil's lips before drawing back rubbing teh now swollen lip with the pad of his thumb once more. "I'd love to take this further." He stated softly. "But I have the feeling you won't appreciate me keeping you from your responsibilities."
~~~
His eyes widened just a bit. "More...than one?" He asked, his tone near matching Kayan's. "How many kits are you having?" He'd assumed one.
///
"Then your feeling would be correct," he breathed, his arms sliding away. But his eyes were bright with a childish happiness, and he smiled, flushing. "Besides, anyone could walk through those doors..." He added after a second, his breath finally calming from the mind blowing kiss. As if to prove his point, there was a beep of an ID sliding through the box outside, and the doors were being pushed open by one of his staff members. Rese, the receptionist, halted, blinking between Kahil and Raen. Kahil stepped back a bit, and smoothed his clothes down, fixing his coat.
"Rese, this is Raen, from the hospital. He's going to be helping out a bit today....I think.." He added uncertainly, looking to the side in question.
~~~
Kayan chewed his lip watching Lemor, erd tinging his skin. He dropped his gaze for some reason shamed and uncertain. "Theoretically..." He swallowed awkward;y. "If I had to look after your litle one and mine... how much mess?" He wasn;t sure if he wanted to answer Lemor's question just yet. He knoew it was strange and it made him feel a little like a freak.
///
"I will certainly do my best." Raen stated calmly, holding his hand out to the other in greeting. "If yoiu need me for anything just let me know. I hate having nothing to do and at the moment the two life beareres Im here to look after are doing a good job of looking after each other."
~~~
"Well..." he paused before shrugging. "Not too awful much. A bit more than would be liked, but it's handle-able." He nodded, and this time he pressed a hand to Kayans abdomen. "Kayan....are you having twins?" He asked, smiling softly.
///
Rese juggled his bag, and shook Raen's hand. "I'm glad. Kahil's always trying to kill himself to get everything done. I'm glad he'll have help." Rese smiled between them, having witnessed the intiate contact, and scooted around them to get to the desk.
Kahil smiled a bit, and sighed in relief. "I have to get the patient rooms ready. Do you want to help me with that for now?" He asked.
~~~
"And... what... what about... three." Kayan winced and whimpered as he said it chewing his lip like crazy now.
///
Raen dropped his hand and smiled at Kahil unable to resist the urge to ruffle the others hair. "Sure, of course I'll help. I'll have you know I'm an expert at this sort of thing."
~~~
"T...three?" Lemor was momentarily speechless, before he squealed, and hugged Kayan silly. "Three? Really??? You're having triplets? Oh Kayan, that's so amazing! That's wonderful! Don't look so sick over it, sweetie. That's amazing! I'll help, no matter how much mess."
///
Kahil was once more forced to fix his hair, and he nodded, smiling. "Good. I have only four patient rooms, as I only see the people in the inn who come in for things. So....you can do two, and i'll get started on the other two," he nodded again, trying not to appear to overly happy. Raen just made him feel that way, and he couldn't help it.
"I... I... Never said... I... I... was having three... I'm just asking how... how much mess... three... would make..." Kayan asked stuttering his words and looking even more sick at the idea. "I... I'm just curious... you... you know... if you... me... and... maybe... maybe Raen have one each..."
///
"Sure, no problem." Raen stated ruffling Lemor's hair yet again as he walked past the other in search of the two rooms in question. Slipping he he began to quickly and efficiently set them up with ease. This was something he could do with his eyes closed and blind folded which amounted to the same thing really. The rooms were ready in almost no time and when he was done he slipped out in search of Kahil once more. Like a moth to flame.
"Oh...." Lemor felt foolish having had the outburst of excitement. He sat back, resigned, and blushing in embarassment, slightly. "Well, Raen already told me he's not interested in any life-bearers at the moment, but, theoretically, if there were three small babes, there wouldn't be that much mess. However, once they got a bit bigger, there would be more mess, but by that time, a person would be used to changing diapers. It's not big deal."
///
Kahil was in the process of finishing his last room, smoothing a clean, freshly laundered sheet over the single examination table. That done, he turned to find his clipboard, before slipping out of the room, closing it. Hi two nurses had arrived and were already making sure the waiting room was alright, and getting their holo-screens booted up.
He was ready for the flow of patients, but he was sure today wouldn't be too awful bad. And he had Raen too...it was going to be fine...
Kayan groaned fear coursing through him as he subcontiosly craddled his abdomen. "Three..." He whimpered.
///
Raen found him with the clipbaord and couldn't resist the urge to ruffle his hair AGAIN.Something about Kahil's hair kepts calling to him to keep touching it, over and over again. He loved the soft strands and the silky feel of it beneath his fingers. "You ready?"
~~~
Lemor wanted to ask again if he was having three, but he felt silly. So instead, he picked up a few books. "Want to read? Or we can do something else. We have a pile of things to keep us preoccupied today."
///
He was forced to pout this time, and directed it at Raen, fixing his hair, yet again. It was kind of funny, but h had to appear atleast a bit respectable...."As ready as ever," he nodded. "I don't think we'll be too awful busy, but you never know," he shrugged, and turned wth him to head back down the hallway. "There's a bearer that made an appointment. Should be coming in soon. Most of our calls are spontaneous.."
~~~
Kayan chewed his lip blinking at Lemor, suddenly ashamed for lying to the other even though it was indirectly. He could see the question in the other's gaze and the fact that the other chose not to ask served only to make him feel even more guilty with each and every passing moment. "I'm having three." He admitted on a soft whisper... "But... I... my body... it... they are scared... scared I won't make it... the three... the kids... won;t make it and I... I know I'm thin but when I eat I feel sick. I spent so many years... with... with not much to eat and now I.. now I..." Kayan;s words hitched in his throat, thick with emotion.
///
"A bearer?" Raen frowled trying to resist the urge to muss Kahils hair again simply because he liked it better that way. "Is anything wrong? Is he pregnant?" Various scenarios were flying through his mind.
~~~
"Hey..." Lemor was glad he had told him...he was happy, but he could see how absolutely terrified Kayan was. "You're going to make it. And your kits are going to make it. You're going to be fine," he wound arms about him and hugged him again, careful of the I.V.
///
Kahil's eyes trailed over his clipboard. "No...he's here on vacation. Jeskaran. He's just been feeling a little under the weather. I can't correctly say he's pregnant or not, since I haven't done a checkup. It's probably just the excess sunlight, since Jeskara is rather dark. If so, he may just need some nutrients and rest."
~~~
"But they said it's rare... it... it doesn;t happen often a now I... of all people.. with... with all my problems... why me..." He shook in Lemor's grasp uncertainty hitting him hard.
///
"Oh, alright." Raen's lips quirked into a silly smile. "For a minute there I thought Lemor's plot to take over the world with pregnant lifebearers was in full swing."
~~~
Lemor pet his hair. "I don't know, young one. I don't know why fate does what it does....but you've been given a wonderful gift, and even if it looks bleak, and isn't what you wanted, there's got to be a reason you've been given it. I know you'll make it through. You're strong Kayan, even if at times the world gets shakey..."
///
"Oh I don't know, we still aren't sure if he's pregnant. He very well could be," he smiled as they entered the main room again, behind the receptionists' counter. Rese was indeed getting the information of a very pale looking bearer. Kahil aready suspected the sunlight as beig his problem of illness, but as a healer, he had to go through to procedure to make sure.

///
"Hey, don't tell me you're in on the plot." Raen teased walking towards the life bearer. "Hi." He greeted the other softly. "I'm Raen. Kahil's letting me help here for a little while and let me tell you, you're in good hands."

"I know...it is going to be terribly hard. You're so new at this, and to be bombarded by three at once is alot...but don't forget, you have alot of helping hands," he smiled. "Either way, know you're going to feel terrified up until the point you begin to get comfortable about it.
///
Kahil was flushed from the teasing, and even now from Raen's compliment.
"I...that's good to know," the bearer smiled easily, and Kahil offered a hand.
"I'm Kahil. If you're all signed in, then please follow us. We'll get you looked over an find out what's wrong."
"He's good to go." Rese pressed the forms the man had been filling out into a folder, and stashed them away, letting Kahil lead the way to a room.

"But three?" Kayan repeated even though he knew he was starting to sound like a broken record. "Wouldn't you be scared if... if... it was three? Three is a lot. How is my body supposed to carry thee. I... I'm small and ... and... three? I don't even think its possible!"
///
Raen followed, silently walking into the patient room before efficiently lining up all the equipment Kahil would need in order to perform the required tests in the lifebearer. He smiled at the lifebearer in reassurance hiding the scariest of the implements discreetly.

"I would be more than terrified if I were carrying three....because I know I probably wouldn't carry such a large burden to term. And you might not carry full way to term, but I think you'll carry far enough. Your body.....it has to be possible. There's been other, in the past, that carried three, even more! You just have some obstacles you need help with...but I think you'll be alright." He tried to soothe him, not knowing if he was doing more harm than help....
///
"Alright. Go ahead and sit down. I'll do a basic check up before I check for anything. I understand Jeskara's a dark planet. My main concern is heat stroke," he explained. "The light could be affecting you," he nodded, and moved over to the man to check his temperature, which was a little high for his species. He licked his lips, checking his pulse and the rest of his vitals.
"What other tests would be involved?" the bearer asked, holding his arm out so Kahil could check his blood pressure.
"Maybe pregnancy. Unless you're absolutely sure you couldn't be. If that's the case, i'll prescribe you some vitamins for dehydration and we'll see how you fare with those..." He took off the arm band, and gently pinched skin between his fingers. It didn't seem as elastic, which meant a lack of fluid, and therefore what he'd already guessed: dehydration.

Kayan swallowed dryly at Lemor's admission that he too would be terrified and dropped his gaze nervously. He picked at the bedding uncertainly his thoughts racing. Not carry to term, carry far enough... these were all terms that meant little to him, little except to tell him that this was dangerous, uncertain and the scariest thing he has ever had to do. He chewed his lip once more before sighing and shifting so that his forehead rested on Lemor's shoulder. "Can we... uh... do something?" Kayan asked wanting to forget his fear for a little while and what better way to forget than to distract?
///
Raen watched Kahil work efficiently and effectively and admired the other for it. Kahil didn't give the patient enough time to be scared and usually that meant the world of difference. He silently handed Kahil the scanner and carefully reached for the bearer pausing when he got close. "Would it be alright if I put some gel on you for the last test?" He asked softly. "It's what we usually use to test for pregnancy." He silently waited for conscent, not wanting to invade the little life bearers privacy.

"We sure can," he nodded, carefully reaching out to pick up their pile of goodies. "What do you want to do? Weve got a ton of things to preoccupy our time..."
///
The man loked nervous, but nodded. "Okay...I'm pretty sure I couldn't be, but what coulda test hurt, right?" He giggled in his nervousness, and Kahil smiled to placate him.
"Exactly. Thank you for being a good sport. I'll have the test done real quickly, alright?" He knew that Raen was a doctor, but he felt a litle strange as he watched the other apply gel, while he got the little device booted up. His was a much smaller sensor than a hospital had, and he turned his attention to the screen, brows furrowed.

((Both of us))
"I would like to... learn to read..." Kayan admitted his face flaming in sudden shame at having to admit that he couldn't read
///
"It doesn't hurt one bit" Raen reassured him, smiling. "Maybe a bit ticklish. When I was training I kept stealing the gel they use because it's nice and cool, useful too" He winked. "I got into so much trouble it wasn't funny and others kept thinking I'm a bearer claiming to be a giver." He spoke lightly so as to distract the bearer and make this easier on ther other.
~~~
"Then learning to read it is," Lemor smiled softly, and pickd out a book. "This one's easy. It's one of the only books I own, so, I hope that's alright." He leaned back and opened it up. "Do you um....know letters?" He asked, patting the pillows for Kayan to lean back beside him.
///
Kahil couldn't suppress a grin, and the bearer even cracked a smile, much more at ease.
"Guess i'll have to be watching my gel stock then," Kahil smiled and moved over. "Okay, relax. It might just feel a little funny at first." He carefully pressed the machine to an abdomen and began working it over a belly, smearing gel. After a moment, he stopped, and clicked it off. "Well...I don't see anything. If you are, it's to early to tell. If you're not, those vitamins i'm prescribing will fix you right up, alright?" He wiped off the machine with a towel, before offering another towel to the man.
"You can go ahead and wipe that off..."
~~~
Kayan shrugged still looking shamed. "I can figure some words out here and there but its slow and takes long. I never formally learnt them. I didn't have money for school." He admitted. "I spent a lot of time in the library. I don't know your alphabet at all though." He admitted. "Its very different from the alphabets I saw in the library. I guess I can read our english one. I'm just slow. Never got the time to practice." He chewed his lip wondering if he should have admitted as much as he had. It made him look incredibly stupid.
///
"You just might have to watch it." Raen winked at Kahil. "I'll have to stay I'm still partial to the cool soothing effect." He grinned at the patient before leaning in. "So, how about it?" He whispered. "You distract him and I raid?"
~~~
"Well....our alphabet is really wierd, but this book has a story from every planet, including one from Earth," he smiled and flipped pages until he found it. "See? Lets start on this one. Maybe, after we get letters down, I can begin to teach you our alphabet. I'm not that good of a teacher though.."
///
He giggled, and glanced at Kahil, tilting is head. "I don't know," he whispered back. "I think you're more of a distraction to him that I would be," The bearer sat back, looking rather amused as heat overtook Kahil's face.
"Okay, that's enough of that. I'll have to put it under lock and key," he coughed delicately, and begin putting the machine away.
~~~
"I'm not that good a student." Kayan retorted miserably looking down at the book
///
"Really? You think?" Raen whispered back. "There go my plans of grandeur." He sighed despondently. "You lifebearers will be the death of me. Keeping that nice gell away from me and planning world dominion through pregnancy"
~~~
"Hey, we haven't even started yet, don't start saying that now," he chuckled and pat a head, before offering the book. "Okay, try the first line..."
///
"World..domination?" the bearer rose an eyebrow, grinning madly.
"He's being dramatic. And overly paranoid." Kahil smiled and wrote out a script, holding it out to the other bearer. "You can go ahead and pick these up at the clinic pharmacy, just down the hallway."
"Thank you. And thank you." He nodded to Raen. "If i'm not already in on the heist for life-bearer, pregnancy world domination, i'll just have to have a talk with my mate," He grinned, before shaking Kahil's hand again and going.
"Well.." Kahil sighed. "That went much smoother. Thank you..."
~~~
Kayan pulled a face before reading carefully recognising the letters from earth. He read smoothly and calmly though carefully. His voice flowed gently with the text at a relaxed pace though he paused at times and frowned when he encountered a word he did not know. Those words he stumbled over articulating incorrectly for he didn't know the grammer rules taught at school and didn't know how the word had to sound without having heard it before. "Heeeemaaaaaleyaaaas?"
///
"Yes world dominion. Everyone is getting pregnant and there is only one logical explanation. Someone is plotting something." Raen stated alk knowingly grinning as he did so. "And in case you didn't know, just because one is paranoid doesn't mean there isn's someone out to get you. Yes... " He leant closer and ruffled Kahil's hair. 'That went well. You're a good doctor."
~~~
"Him-a-lay-as," Lemor smiled and sounded it out. He found Kayans reading rather cute. "That was wonderful, actually, for not being in school. Very good. You know your letters well. The only thing you need help on is pronunciation here and there, but that will come in time. You did very well. Try one more paragraph, then we'll see about starting to teach you letters.."
///
"I..I'm not that great a doctor," he protested shyly, pouting, and fixing his hair. "And i'm not a puppy. I'll have you know I have to appear professional and what are my patients going to think if I go out there, all mussed up, hm?" He asked, picking up his clip board, for lack of anything else to do with his hands. Being alone, in the company of Raen made him feel rather nervous all of a sudden.
~~~
Kayan chewed his lip. "I... tried to read what I could." He picked at the bedding. "I... thought maybe... if I read the books in the library I could stop... being... a... you know...." His face was flaming. He bit his lip before shaking his head and trying the next paragraph suddenly not wanting to hear what Lemor would say to that. "Again his reading was smooth and careful and he stumbled on another word... "Mountain... eeeeeooooo us range?"
///
"You are a good doctor." Raen insisted ruffling his hair again. "And no one said you're a puppy." He grinned. "You'd look professional in a potatoe sack."
~~~
"Good, good, you said it just about right. Now just put it together. You're doing fine, Kayan." He encouraged him. He hated to see his friend so embarassed and wanted him to relax.
///
"I would not!" He looked horrifed at the idea. "I...I would look terrible. Comepletely terrible. A...and....rumpled....not that I look much better but...I mean.." He smoothed down his white coat over his clothing, cheeks on fire.
"Dr. Kahil?" The receptionist interrupted with a wide grin. "There's someone out here to see you..."
"A patient?" He asked, trying to calm himself.
"Of sorts....It's Jermani.." Fear stabbed into his gut, and Kahil's face went pale, before he was rushing out.
"Jermani??" The boy was standing at the desk, shoulders slumped, pouting. His lip was cut, and his eyes black and blue. "What happened??" He reached out to touch a chin, but Mani flinched away.
"Nothing...I forgot my key to the apartment. Can I have yours? They sent me home for the day."
~~~
Kayan chewed his lip before placing a finger down and reading further softly. He was uncertain about his own reading but foraged on even though he felt stupid trying to read when he was already supposed to be a full grown adult.
///
"Nope. You would be radient." Raen grinned. "You have a natural charm that can't be bought." Raen teased before frowning when they were interupted. He ran after Kahil before frowning at the wounds on Jermani. "Come on. I'll take this one." He stated glancing up at Kahil. "We givers need to start plaotting a way to counteract the world dominion you lifebearers are planning and what better way to do it than over a drink and cookies. If I eat all of them I'll get fat and look like a pregnant life bearer." He told Jermani seriously. "So I need some help here."
~~~
Lemor listened and nodded, encouraging him and helping out when needed. "Very good...alright lets try some letter, hm?" He asked, choosing another book, this one exclusively in their language.
///
Jermani gaped, and Kahil bit his lip before nodding. "Alright. I have another patient to check up....G....get his lip taken are of, please?" He asked. Jermani made a sound and sighed.
"Fine. It's not bad though," He grabbed up his bookbag and began heading to a room.
~~~
Kayan frowned at the letters tracing them absently "They are really pretty." He commented softly.

Raen winked at Jermani before taking him to one of the other pateints rooms and asking him to sit down. He dug out an ice pack and tossed it at Jermani. "I'm sure you know what to do with that." He stated smiling at the boy as he started to make some hot chocolate for the both of them. "That's quite the bruise." He sat down as he waited for the milk to heat. He pulled a face. "I had my fair share but from nothing as manly as a fight." He declared.
~~~
"They are....but better than that, theyre not all that hard to learn," he murmured and pointed out a letter. "This is the Sensaforian equivalent to an 'A'." He began pointing out letter and pronouncing them.
///
Mani cracked the ice pack to activate it, before placing it over his eye. "Kahil would be yelling by now...or stuttering...something," he shrugged and watched the table. "It wasn't a fight anyways. I won, and he didn't really fight. But he got a good hit in..."
~~~
Kayan watched him carefully trying to memorise the letters before suddenly stopping Lemor. "Could you... Do you think it would be possible... if I... could learn to write them?" He asked suddenly.
///
"Kahil worries about you." Raen stated softly. "Just like you, he's lost all the family he knows and wants to keep what he still has close. Sometimes too close, yes, but at least you have someone who really loves you." He stood and started to mix the hot chocolate. "So... mind telling me what it was about?" He asked sliding the cup towards him before digging out the cookies he still had.
~~~
Lemor blinked at him before grinning. "Of course. That's a bit harder, but definately possible. Let me find some paper, okay?" He stood to do just that, going to Lights desk. On top was a pad of paper and a few pens. He took two before coming back.
"Alright...lets see...how about I write the alphabet and you can copy them, to get the feel for the letter?" He asked, beginning to write them down.
///
Jermani squirmed, taking the cup of hot cocoa. "Someone was...talking about...someone else," he murmured, licking his wounded lip, wincing. "This guy was talking about....about Kahil," he muttered. "I guess his dad knew him...or maybe his mom, I don't know. But he was saying things about Kahil that just....." He shrugged moodily, and took a sip of his drink. "Don't tell Kahil that" his eyes darted to Raen's before moving away.
