Kezro smiled softly at the question and the boy's close proximity. "Perhaps...," he said. That was right before he leaned in and captured Dov's lips with his own, pressing a light kiss against them.

They stayed like that for a few moments before Kez pulled back. "Remember that?" he asked, running a hand through white hair.

Dov felt his stomach flutter when Kezro kissed him. The memory of Kezro kissing him when he had been drunk came quickly back to him. He remembered Kezro's apology and it lifted a weight of his shoulders.

When Kezro pulled back he wanted to whine at the loss of contact but Kezro's words stopped him. "Remember that?. Dov closed his eyes when he felt Kezro's hand run through his hair, enjoying the simple gesture.

Dov grinned sheepishly and leaned closer to Kezro, opening his eyes again. "I think it's still fuzzy." He decided with a smile. "Maybe you should try again?" He whispered, hopeful.

Kezro grinned as wide as he could. The word ecstatic wasn't even close to describing what he felt. "Maybe I should," he said, smirking mischievously.

He wrapped his arms around Dov and pulled the boy's body close to his before placing his lips over the younger's again. He moved then, peppering tiny kisses all over the boy's face and neck before coming back up to deeply kiss those beautiful rosy lips.

Breathing was a necessity though, so after awhile, he had to pull back. The half merman rested his head against the boy's shoulder and threaded slightly webbed fingers through silky hair.

"My mate...," he unconsciously breathed out, letting his eyelids flutter closed in total peace.

Those words that came from Kezro's lips made him feel at ease. And he knew that Kezro was right. A sigh left his lips and he couldn't help but smile.

A gasp left him when he noticed that Kezro was hurt. He hadn't noticed before that the man's feet were covered in bandage. "You are hurt!" Dov exlaimed and pouted. 'It's my fault..." He mumbled.

Kezro blinked, jolting slghtly from his dazed relaxation. He pulled his feet up and toyed with the cloth guiltily. "I forgot to put on my shoes. It's fine though. It's only a few cuts and blisters. Nothing too bad. Not your fault," he said, shrugging.

He laughed. "My feet are just...sensitive. My tickle spot, you could say. Besides, within a day or so, it'll be completely healed. No big deal."

He dropped a kiss on Dov's head. "Thanks for worrying though."

Dov bit the inside of his cheek and felt bad. He wanted to say something but he was interupted by a yawn and blushed.

He hadn't slept for almost two days now and finally the lack of sleep started to show. He tried to ignore it and looked at Kezro. "Are you sure?" He asked, wanting to make sure Kezro was all right.

A laugh escaped from Kez and he nodded. "Yes, yes. I'm fine. The question is though, are you fine? You look about to drop dead! You need more sleep obviously."

He moved around on the bed more and let it wobble. "This here is my bed, but I don't mind if ya want to sleep in it...There is still the guest bed if ya want something more solid to lie on," he said, smoothing out the covers distractedly.

"I have food too. I mean, ya never got around to actually eating, but I'm sure that after your little experiance, it's probably not the best thing...Is it?"

The half merman grinned and motioned around the room. "You can do nearly anything ya want. Just pick."

Dov lay back down and watched Kezro, a blush returning to his cheeks. He wanted Kezro to stay with him but didn't know if he should ask. First of all he didn't know how too ask and second, he didn't know if Kezro even wanted to stay with him.

"Um..." He choked on his words and finally found that his words were a mere whisper. "I-I'd like to sleep..." He decided, leaving the second part of his sentence.

"But..." He started and found himself saying something entirely different then he had wanted. "I'll just sleep in the guest room."

Dov bit the inside of his cheek and quickly got out of bed, looking down at the ground. He let out a frustrated sigh and then looked up at Kezro. He watched the taller man and tried to work up the courage to ask him if he could stay with Kezro. When he knew he wouldn't he pressed a kiss to the taller man's cheek and left Kezro's room in silence.

The moment he entered the guest room he shivered and looked at the bed. He shifted a little before walking over to it and lying down. The blankets were cold and they made him shiver slightly. Dov closed his eyes, hoping to fall asleep. His stomach was turning and his mind was racing. He turned around and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep.

Kezro frowned, feeling somewhat disappointed. He had hoped that the younger would have wanted to stay in his room; maybe even invite the half merman to stay with him...? That would have been nice. He could already imagine the heat of the boy's body spooned into his own...Which lead to more thoughts.

He shook his head and sighed at himself, distantly wondering if Dov just didn't like waterbeds.

Sighing towards Gupse, he waved and walked out of the room. He stopped breifly at the guest bedroom door. He slowly looked in to see the Zercan curled up in the bed already. "Heya, Dov...? I just wanted ya to know that I'll be down in the pool if ya need me. If you don't feel awake or something enough to come down, just ask Gupse to call me..."

With that, he sighed and pulled close the door before going down the stair and into small pool room. He quickly stripped himself of all his clothes and dove into the pool, transforming into a merman as he went. Perhaps, perhaps Dov would like to join him later...He thought about how nice it would be to see the other in swim trunks...or something.

Kez scowled. His imagination was really running away with itself today, he decided.

Dov kept his eyes tightly shut as he heard the door open. He wondered if Kezro know that he was still awake and then he heard Kezro's voice. It send a shiver through him and he wished that he would boldly ask if the man wanted to stay with him.

When he heard the door close again he opened his eyes, thinking over Kezro's words. He bit the inside of his cheek, which seemed to have become a habit when he felt nervous. He sat up and decided to just get up and follow Kezro down.

He pushed himself out of his bed, knowing that he wouldn't be able to sleep even if he wished. The thoughts in his mind kept racing and he knew they wouldn't stop until he made the right decision for himself, which wasn't staying in bed and trying to sleep.

Kezro continued to swim laps for a bit, relaxing under the cool feel of the water. He did stop for awhile though when he heard the sound of footsteps coming towards him. He swam towards the edge and hoisted himself up by his arms, leaning against the edge of the pool.

"Dov...?" he called out. He had thought the boy was asleep...There was the possibility that it was someone else, but that seemed unlikely that a break-in would occur in the day while the crowds were still bustling. Although, night was approaching...

Dov was glad when he heard Kezro's voice. He walked into the direction he had heard Kezro's voice and smiled when he found him in the pool. "Um...hi." He whispered and crossed his arms. "I couldn't really sleep."

He rubbed the back of his head as he watched Kezro. He walked over to the pool and sat down at the side in front of Kezro. He wrapped his arms around his legs and watched the man in front of him. "I hope you don't mind..."

Kezro smiled and pushed himself up even more to lightly peck a kiss on Dov's cheek. "Nope. Don't mind at all. I was actually just thinking of ya. The only thing I really mind is that you'll be tired, but if ya think you'll be fine...It's okay."

He turned a bit so that he could sit on the edge of the pool next to the boy. He leaned down to hug the other, but after a moment he pulled back, laughing. "Oops. Sorry, I forgot I was wet..." He wrinkled up his nose and ran his hands over his bare arms and torso, trying to push the excess of water of of it.

Dov blushed when he looked at Kezro's body and quickly looked away. Dov looked at his hands, knowing that if he looked at Kezro again he would probably make a fool of himself and turn crimson.

When he did he found that he was right but he tried to ignore it. Dov looked down at the shirt he was wearing and slipped his finger underneath the fabric. He pulled it over his head and tossed it to the side, making sure it wouldn't get wet.

He pushed himself close to Kezro and smiled brightly. "Not it doesn't matter." He whispered.

Kez chuckled lightly at the blush adorning the younger's cheeks, and had to smile when Dov took off his shirt. He wasn't concerned about blushing, but he was more or less concerned about not being able to breath...or see striaght...or-

The older gulped dryly and licked his lips. "Okay then...So, so what exavtly made it so ya can't sleep? Anything I can help with...?" he asked, swishing his tail through the water in front of him.
