Dov looked around on the, for him, strange planet. He had never been this far away from him and all though it scared it somewhat it made him feel safer then on his home planet. In the back of his head that uneasy feeling of his parents sending someone after him to finish a job they hadn’t been able too wouldn’t leave. As strong believers they not only turned their back on those who brought shame upon them but also wished to get rid of the rotten piece which could no longer be a part of that family, how didn’t matter.
And then there was the second weary thought. He could’ve stayed with the group of Reyls that had found him and helped him. But the need to find his mate had been to strong to ignore. And now he was on a planet which made him feel out of place and alone. Dov bit his lip and brushed a hand through his hair, brushing a couple of strands behind his ear. He started walking, keeping his eyes shifting around, checking out his surroundings.
'Maybe I should take a different form...' He thought to himself but before shifting he stopped himself and remembered that the people from this planet would know what he was if he did. Dov quickly decided against it.
For the first time he doubted the man who had brought him to this place, and couldn’t help but think that the man had lied to him about this being the perfect destination. But he did know that he would be safe here, or at least as safe as he could be. Dov wrinkled his nose in disgust when he smelled something strange and felt his stomach turn. He placed his hand on his stomach and sighed. His lips parted slightly as he whispered to himself, his voice soft and deep. “Why did you come here...”

Kezro strolled through the busy streets of his home town...Or perhaps it was more correct to say home city? It was Mentsiquar he lived in, after all. There was nothing so simple as just a town there. This particular city was called Kempthon, a place of specializing in technology of all sorts and the delicious thing known as Drek-ale.
Its streets were especially busy that night. People having so much to do and 'little' time to do it in. Kez could almost laugh. While he was like that on a regular basis, tonight was different.
Toinght he was going to go visit...the Cyber Store.
Okay, so it wasn't that big a deal. He knew it, but that never derailed the happiness he felt at being able to do something like fix up a computer for someone. He liked to feel needed, useful...There just weren't that many people who needed him or hardly anyone else nowadays.
Everyone was all into the being independant thing. Oh, sure. People had mates whom they needed and cared for, but what about those who didn't have that special one? He could understand being independant and all, but the fact didn't help the pain he would feel sometimes at his uselessness. The thought that no one would care if he was gone, that he hadn't contributed to someone's life in a significant way...
Kez shrugged to himself, letting the thoughts roll off of him. Depressing thoughts were not the best thing to carry around. 'Besides it is't very sociable or attractive,' he thought, tossing a wink and a wave to some of the people he passed.
Most returned his greeting, while some just rolled their eyes at his antics. They all knew him as he knew them. That was the odd thing about Kempthon...Even though it was a city, the residents seemed to stay close rather then drift apart as most busy places do.
The half merman laughed merrily as he rounded a corner. He liked his city as weird as it was. Although he did think it would be interesting to see some other place sometime, he was content for now. There was always something that was some new curiosity, some new intrigue there.
Like, as he passed the small bar that belonged to Old Man Penai, he saw this bright flash of white. Blinking, he moved closer, his eyes now trained on the colour. As he walked towards the thing, the crowd shifted and he saw that it appeared to be someone's...hair.
Okay, so it wasn't the best discovery, but it was a discovery. That was what really counted. That, and the other person's hair looked really, really soft and silky...Actually, now that he was getting a good look at the boy, Kezro noticed that he also looked lost.
Walking the rest of the distance over to the other, he lightly tapped the boy on the shoulder to get his attention. He had to bite his lip to keep from grinning as the white-haired one spun around, startled.
"Well, you seem jumpy, don't ya?" he asked, as the other stared at him. "Sorry, my apologies. I really didn't mean to startle ya. I just saw ya here and thought you looked lost...You are lost, right? Or something...? 'Cause you certaintly don't look like a business man," he said as warmly as he could since the other was still giving him this look.
((^^;; Sorry it's so long...))

(( That's cool ! ))
Dov couldn’t help but feel weary while he looked at the man in front of him, wondering what the reason was the man spoke to him in the busy city. He crossed his arms, trying to keep a fair amount of distance between himself and the one before him. Dov opened his mouth to speak, keeping his eyes shifting between his surroundings and the man. “I’m not lost...” He breathed. “I just…kind of got misplaced…” He decided then and licked his dry lips and tried to clear his throat.
Dov chewed on the inside of his cheek, listening to the movements of the crowd around them. He looked around and saw people staring at them and they made him restless. Once again he found himself very aware of the changes between this planet and his own, the difference between the men who lived here and those on Zerca. He looked back at the man in front of him and wrinkled his nose, a habit he had picked up from the Reyls children he had travelled with.
“Who are you?” He asked all of a sudden but quickly regretted his question, not sure if he wished to know. He let his arms fall to his side, waiting for a reply, dropping the only defence he had had in their conversation to keep a distance. He knew there was no reason to feel mistrustful towards the man in front of him. First of all he was the only one who had spoken to him since that lying man had who brought him on this planet. And second he had seen a gentle and warm glance in the man's strange golden-like eyes. "Can you help me...?" He continued his question in a soft whisper.

Kezro quirked an eyebrow at the boy's statement of just being misplaced, not lost. 'Aren't they the same thing...?,' he thought before shrugging. He thought they were. Whenever he misplaced his keys, didn't he actually say that he lost them? Then again, people are very different from inanimate objects.
"To each his own," he muttered under his breath before smiling widely. Speaking louder, he said, "Yeah. I'd be happy to help ya. Where ever ya gotta go, I'll take ya. I've lived here my whole life, so it's not that big a deal for me. Oh, and my name is...Well, just call me Kez...or Kezro. And you are...?"

Dov watched him for a second, whispering Kezro's name as if he tried to make sure he would not forget it. He then smiled weakly. "I'm Dov." He replied and placed his hands on his hips, he watched the man carefully.
"I need to find a place to stay," He started. "But I don't have a lot of money..." He mumbled then, uncomfortable to let someone know he had come to a different planet with not much more then what he had on him. "Do you know some place?"

Kezro tapped his pursed lips thoughtfully, trying to come up with the best place for the boy - Dov, he mentally corrected - to stay.
"Well...There is that one hotel, but...even their 'not much' is probably too much." He looked over at Dov and smirked somewhat at the other's questioning look. "We mostly only get business men as visitors, so people have a tendancy to...up the prices on various things," he said.
Again, he began to think on a place for the younger to stay. 'Where else? Where else? Where -Ah!'
"Ah!" he exclaimed out loud. He looked over at the white-haired boy with wide eyes. "You could stay at my place! I just remembered, I have an extra room and everything. That is, if ya don't mind staying with me...or aren't a assasin/serial killer. Ya don't look it, but I thought it'd be nice to ask."

Dov raised an eyebrow at Kezro's question. "A serial killer...?" He smiled softly and shook his head. "No..." A sigh left his lips and he cleared his throat.
"Thank you..." He whispered and looked around. Dov was glad the man wanted to help him but he knew that he probably wanted something in return. He had learned over the years that no one did or gave something without needing anything back.
The white haired boy frowned and opened his mouth to speak, before he knew he all ready spoke. "What do you want in return?" He quickly bit on the inside of his cheek and felt his cheeks grow slightly red. He hadn't meant to ask and was afraid that he had blew his changes by asking such a thing.

Kez stared at the boy and slightly frowned. "What I want in return? For letting you stay with me?" he asked. At Dov's hesitant nod, he blinked and tilted his head up in thought.
He didn't really want anythng. After all, hadn't it been just awhile ago that he had been wishing for someone to help? It was almost a miracle how quickly the boy and him had come together after that. There was nothing that he really desired from the other, like money or "favours" or something.
Although...
He turned his head back down to look at Dov and smiled happily. "I want...you to take off your shoes at the door, put your dishes in the sink after dinner - Oh, ya need to tell me what ya want, by the way -, and perhaps be my friend. Not too hard, eh?" he asked, winking.

Dov laughed sheepishly as he looked at Kezro. "I can do that..." He whispered and then grinned.
Then he finally realized something and looked at the crowd of people. "You must've been going somewhere before or were suppose to do something important," He started and then looked up at the man. "I guess I'll let you finish whatever you were suppose to do." Dov started smilling, the corners of his lips curling slowly. He rubbed his hands together and waited for a reply, watching Kezro.

Kezro laughed. He liked the way this Dov looked when he smiled, and it made him happy to see it. He wasn't sure why...No, it was probably nothing. He just liked seeing people smile. 'Right?' he thought to himself, feeling somewhat conflicted before he shook his head and focused back on the boy.
"Well...I was going to go visit this local tech store, but I didn't really need to go...I was just going to help out the owner, but I think I found something much better to do then fix computers now," he said, grinning.
He winked as he pulled out a small radio thing. "Lemme just go call him and tell him I'm not going to be there. Stay here, 'kay?" he said before stepping off to the side, being sure to stay within Dov's line of view.

Dov nodded and watched Kezro walk away. A sigh left his lips and he walked over closer to one of the buildings, making sure Kezro would still be able to see him. He rested against he wall and looked at the crowd which walked by, taken a back by the sort of species that he found. He had never met others then himself in the group of Reyls he had been traveling with.
A smile played on his lips as he thought of Kezro and the help the man offered him so easily. He was glad someone wanted to help him on this planet. He watched the man from the distance he was standing and his smile brightenend. 'He doesn't even want anything in return, well not anything he couldn't manange.' He wouldn't mind taking of his shoes or helping with the dishes. And he would be happy to become Kezro's friend.
He kept his eyes on Kezro and blushed to find that he rather enjoyed the idea of staying close to Kezro, even staying in his house, the two of them. It made his stomach turn with a nervous feeling and he bit the inside of his cheek. Then finally a thought catched up with him. Why did he think there was no one else there. Why would the older man live alone? Maybe he had someone in his life, maybe he had a mate... The thought made Dov sigh and he started to wonder what Kezro's mate would look like.

Kez snapped shut the communicator as his conversation ended and looked over to see Dov leaning against a wall, watching the people walk by.
The half merman began to wonder about the boy as he began to walk closer towards the boy. Why exactly was he here? He certainly didn't seem to have a plan in mind, or else he would have had money or a place to stay in mind. Truthfully though, Kezro wasn't entirely sure he minded. He was glad the other was here and would be staying with him, no matter how he arrived.
It was almost as if it had been planned that they should meet. His walking down the street at that exact moment, wanting to feel needed...Dov's getting "misplaced" and needing someone...Them meeting and talking...
"Serendipity...," he mumbled quietly to himself almost in awe as he came to a stop next to the boy. He grinned as the other turned to look at him. He was about to tell him it was time to go, but Dov's face, however, was sad.
Kez blinked and his smile turned slightly. What was the other stressed about? Maybe he changed his mind about staying with him...?
Being raised in the city around many people he knew, Kez sometimes had very little tact. "So, what're ya upset about? Do you not want to stay with me or something anymore? I do know other places you can stay if that's the case...," he said reluctantly. He couldn't very well force the other to be with him...

Dov looked at him and shook his head, he pushed himself away from the wall and he gasped softly when he noticed how close he was now standing to Kezro. He could feel the other’s warm breath on his face and stared in his golden eyes before looking down and resting his eyes on the small scar on Kezro’s neck. “No, I’d really like to stay with you.” He said and still kept his eyes from Kezro’s.
He could still feel the man’s breath on his face and it made his stomach jump as he felt Kezro’s pressence so close to him. “I just thinking of something and it caught me off guard...” He stated.
Dov looked up at him again and his cheeks turned hot as he felt the man’s breath against his lips. “I’d really like to stay with you...” He said again and smiled up at him. “If you still want me to stay...”

Kezro gulped slightly when the other leaned away from the wall. There was only about a hand's length or two apart between them then, and he wondered if it was enough...Close enough, that is.
From his current distance, he could see just exactly how beautiful the boy was - especially his lips. He slowly began to picture them fuller and pinker looking, like after a long make-out session...His glazed eyes became cloudy as he could picture the image so clearly; Dov's blush and the breath lazily drifting across his neck not exactly helping to dispell the picture.
Someone bumped into him from behind as they scurried along and he was snapped out of his daydream. He smiled sheepishly at Dov, shaking his head a bit to clear it and in answer to the boy's question.
"Of...of course I want ya to stay with me! I wouldn't have asked otherwise, would I? Now, let's not have any more confusion and be on our way." He held out an arm for the other and grinned. "Shall we?"

Dov smiled and nodded. He started walking, following Kezro. The white-haired boy started walking closer to Kezo, trying to block out the people around them in his mind. "Do you live with someone?" He asked all of a sudden, wanting to know.
He looked at the man next to him, waiting for a reply, hoping that Kezro's anwser would be the one he wished to hear.
