Dov could feel the liquid burning on the inside of his throat. He heard the man next to him laugh softly as he felt his head buzzing. He tried to push the man away since he started to develop a headache from the man's laughter but clearly missed.
"I don't feel to good." He decided and then snorted. Dov placed his head in his hands and let out a soft sigh.
When he felt arms wrap around him and he heard Kezro's vocie he frowned and turned. He smiled brightly when he saw Kezro, glad the man had decided to come and find him. "Kezro!" he cheered and wrapped his arms around Kezro's neck, almost falling.
"I thought you didn't like me?" He asked then and pouted, his head buzzing. He pushed himself up and stumbled over his own feet. The boy didn't seem to care and looked at Kezro.
He licked his dry lips and stepper closer to Kezro, wrapping his arms around the older man's neck once again and pulling him close so that their bodies were touching. "Why didn't you want to kiss me?" Dov asked softly.
His head was still buzzing and he didn't feel good, his stomach turning since the moment he had gotten up. He pressed himself close to Kezro, needing him to stay on his feet.

“It’s not like that,” Kez said, shaking his head quickly. He also wrapped his arms around the boy, happy the other didn’t seem mad.
“I wanted to kiss ya. I wanted to kiss ya because I do like you. That’s why I did it. I thought ya didn’t want me to, so that’s why I left. I thought ya might get angry…”
As Dov drew himself closer, Kez dropped his head towards the boy’s lips…but then reeled back, his nose curled up at the horrible smell that surrounded the Zercan. “You were…drinking? Do you even know what you were drinking? Some of this stuff can be really dangerous, ya know…”
Hearing laughter besides him, he turned to look at them man sitting there and frowned. “Excuse me, but do ya know what he was drinking?” he asked, looking down at the boy who was gripping onto him in an effort to stand.

The man grinned and then cleared his throat. "I just gave him something to lighten up." The man said and his grin changed into a amused smirk.
Dov blinked a couple of times and then parted his lips to speak, looking up at Kezro. "That other stuff was horrible, so this nice man gave me something to drink." He explained. "It was really nice of him, don't you think Kezro?"
The man started laughing again. "Yes, I'm a nice man." He then turned to look at Kezro his smile fading. "You can leave, he's in good hands. My hands..."
Dov tightened his grip on Kezro and rested his head on the man's shoulder. "You won't leave me, right?"

“No, of course not,” Kez said, smiling down at the boy. “I wouldn’t even think about it…Promise.” When Dov’s hold on him lessened a bit, he turned to look at the man angrily.
“And seeing as I’m not leaving, you can be the one to do so.” He sneered. "Kind sir." He flashed the small sharps of his teeth in warning, once again grateful for the perks that came with being half merman.

Dov watched the two of them and frowned. He felt himself sway and held himself up at the bar. He leaned over it and looked at the bald man behind it. “Hey mister!” He whined and grinned when the bald bartender looked at him. “I need something to drink!”
All though he was drunk he could still understand he should be quiet and not annoy Kezro since he looked somewhat mad.
The man who had been sitting next to Dov watched Kezro and gritted his teeth but he did push himself up and got ready to leave. He grabbed Dov’s arm and spun the boy around. “Hopefully I will see you again.”
Dov tried to pull his arm away and watched the man, leaning towards Kezro. “Maybe.” He breathed and pulled his arm free. “Bye now.”
The man left, cursing under his breath when he was no longer close to the two other’s.
Dov sighed and looked up at Kezro and bit on his lower lip. “Sorry.” He breathed and leaned back, looking down at his hands.

Kez looked down at the boy and smiled, pulling the younger to him. “No, it’s alright. Nothing is your fault. Really.”
He bent down and wrapped an arm around Dov in a half-hug and an attempt to help the boy stand straight. “First off, ya wouldn’t have run off if I hadn’t been so stupid and blind, and that man was just an ass. None of it was your fault.”
He started steering the younger towards the door. “Ya still want to come home with me?”

Dov grinned at those words and quickly nodded his head. "Of course." He decided and pulled Kezro down towards him. He looked up at the older man with his large darkened eyes and leaned closer. "Kezro?" He asked softly and bit the inside of his cheek, feeling slightly nervous. "I...Um..." The blonde frowned and shook his head, a heavy sigh leaving his lips. "Never mind." Dov breathed, quickly dismissing the things he had wanted to say.
He continued walking, using Kezro to stay straight. Now and then he felt himself stumbling slightly and his stomach seemed to leap in circles. Dov stopped walking when he felt his stomach turn for a final time and felt the need to throw up. "I don't feel to good." He confessed and his knees gave in.
A yelp left his parted lips as he held himself up, his arms wrapped around Kezro's necks and their bodies pressed together. He blushed when he noticed how close they were and he could feel the other's breath brushing against his cheek.
"Sorry..." He mumbled and looked down, his eyes resting on a strand of Kezro's hair. He once again felt nervous, but this time he knew it was not because of the accident with the drinks but because he was so close to Kezro. Dov found himself wondering if Kezro would push him away if he tried to kiss the older man, but he didn't dare to try and soon the moment passed.
He pushed himself away from Kezro, trying to act normal but in truth he didn't think his heart would ever stop beating as fast as it was now. Dov showed Kezro a sheepish smile and tried to continue walking without Kezro's help.

Kez frowned as the other pulled himself away from him. He had felt the tension there and felt it was his fault that the moment had been...ruined beacuse of his earlier actions. He began a quick pace, catching up with Dov, he put a hand on the boy's arm to stop him.
When he had managed to get the boy's attention, he bent down to give him a kiss. A small shock ran through him, sending a pleasant feeling through him. After several moments though, he pulled back with a small grimance. The taste of alcohol was upon his lips, reminding him that the other was drunk.
Sighing, he hoisted Dov up in his arms. "Hold onto me," he said, already making his way throughout the crowd. He tried to walk as smoothly as he could, trying not to upset the younger's stomach anymore then it already was. "Let's get you home," he werily said.

Dov felt a warmth spread through his body when Kezro kissed him. When Kezro looked up he looked up at him and tried to smile but his current state wouldn't allow it.
When Kezro pulled him up he let out a sigh of relief. He needed Kezro to stay on his feet while he was drunk, and that thought made him feel rather stupid all of a sudden. He knew he shouldn't have taken the drinks from that man, he should've known there was something weird about the offer. He knew very well that if Kezro hadn't come to find him the man would've continued giving him drinks until he couldn't even see straight anymore.
He rested his head against Kezro's shoulder and sighed happily. He thought he heard Kezro speak but when he closed his eyes he seemed lost to the world. He could hear Kezro's breathing and it made him weary. And before Dov realized he was all ready asleep.

Kezro felt the body within his arms grow lax, and looked down to find Dov sleeping. He smiled and thought that the boy looked rather cute when he was slumbering. It made the boy seem so much more peaceful, and it was bound to help make him feel better too.
Kez glanced around and was relieved to see his house coming up. Quickly he walked up the stairs and pushed open the door, being careful not to jostle the younger in his arms. He carried the boy up the stairs and paused outside their doors, standing between the two.
He was indecisive for a few minutes before carrying Dov into the half merman's room and set him on the queen sized waterbed. It sloshed around a bit before settling down, keeping the sleeping Zercan nestled inside of it.
A small bubbly sound could be heard from a corner of the room, and Kez peeked over at it. A large fish was staring back at him, blowing bubbles within the water. Each bubble made a weird musical sound and it made the man smile.
"Heya, Gupse. I want you to do a favour for me..." Another series of bubbles issued from the fishes mouth.
"It's not very hard. This one here, this Zercan? I want you to call me if he wakes up." Several more bubbles.
Kezro smiled almost sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "I didn't want him waking up alone, but I don't think it would be wise to sleep with him at the moment." He blushed as the fish made a sound. "Not like that! I meant like...'sleep' sleep! I don't want him to think like you though, and maybe think I tried to take advantage of him while he was drunk."
The fish seemed to nod his head, and the half merman seemed satisfied. "Thanks, Gupse...And yeah. I really do like this one. Remember to call me when he wakes up. I think I'm going to finish making some food for later, and then maybe try to wrap my feet in bandages or something. Who knew the streets of are town could be so...painful."
With a smile and a wave, Kezro then walked out the door towards the kitchen.

Dov mumbled something in his sleep, the warmth around him making him wish he wasn't waking up. He kept his eyes closed and pulled the blankets which were wrapped around him closer to himself.
He soon found himself wondering why he was in bed and then remembered what had happened. He found himself wishing he was still asleep, mostly because he felt ashamed of how he might have behaved. He didn't seem to remember much except for Kezro who had come to take him home.
Dov opened one eye and looked around the room. The room made him feel secure and he wondered where Kezro was. He then sat up, letting out a soft yelp when he felt the water bed move underneath him. Then a chuckle left his dry lips and he looked around again.
"Kezro?" He asked softly, wondering where the other was.

A large sound like a pluck of a harp string echoed throught the house and Kezro smiled from where he was putting on the last of his bandages. Slowly he got up, only wincing slightly at the injuries on his feet. He was anxious to see if the boy was better now, so he started walking towards the stairs.
When he reached the top, he made his way into the room and had to chuckle at the look on Dov's face as he stared at Gupse who was still making sounds at the boy. He walked over and knocked lightly on the fish tank to shut the fish up before he looked over at the Zercan.
"Mornin', sun-shiiine!" he said, letting the word 'sunshine' come out in a falsetto. He smiled at himself before shaking his heard. "So how ya doin'? Feeling any better now that you've gotten some rest?"

Dov smiled when he saw Kezro and then nodded as a reply to the man's question. "Yes, I'm feeling better." He replied. Soon after his smile turned into a frown and he looked down at his hands. He rubbed them together, feeling nervous.
"I'm sorry for what happened." The white haired boy breathed. And it was the truth, he did feel bad for what happened. Starting from the moment he had been so stupid to run from the house until now. He didn't dare to look at Kezro for the anwser and so he kept looking at his hands.
"Did I make a fool of myself?" He asked silently, not really wanting to know if he had. He looked up at Kezro, his eyes sad and the shame he felt clearly visible in them.

Kezro smiled and shook his head. "Nah...You were fine. Don't think so bad of yourself. It could have been a lot worse," he said. His smile widened and he moved to sit down on the edge of the bed. "When I was younger, I got really drunk after a birthday celebration bash. I mean, really drunk. I...Well, let's just say I signed off on drinking since then."
He tilted his head to the side and put a finger to his chin thoughtfully. "Although...Does that mean you can't remember anything?" he asked, somewhat saddened by what the answer would be. Had Dov even forgotten his apology...or kiss?

Dov shrugged. "I remember a little." He decided and looked at Kezro. He moved closer to Kezro, and watched the other man. "Is there something you would like me to remember?" He asked softly, hoping that Kezro would say yes.
He felt a warmth spreading on his cheeks and he blushed, his cheeks turning a soft red. His heart seemed to beet slightly faster and a nervous feeling awoke. He didn't take his eyes of Kezro, biting the inside of his cheek.
