Dalian blushed a bit at his lack of knowledge. He really had no way to learn about them before and had no reason. Now he did though especially since his and children would be part of it. "Wow," he looked in awe at his mate in his new form. Even now he looked powerful just standing there. If he didn't know it was his mate he wouldn't be standing there so calmly but he still felt very much at ease around him.
"You look really...amazing?" He knelt down a bit and petted his mates head gently. He didn't want to call him cute, he just seemed too graceful and obviously deadly to be cute. Beautiful maybe, it didn't matter. "You are definitely going to have to teach me about your people." He moved to hug his mate a bit, pressing up against his soft fur. "So soft!" He really was.

Chase purred and nuzzled his mate's neck before pulling away and settling down into a pounce position before jumping over the rail of the bridge to the bank below. Looking up, he gave a snort and cocked his head to the side gesturing for his mate to follow him .

Dalian stood up quickly when his mate moved away. He looked at him curiously when he saw him moving away. Where was he going? "Oh, okay." He quickly moved after him, wondering if there was maybe a part of the garden he hadn't seen yet or perhaps something else he had to show him.

Chase walked along the bank until the woods opened up to a sizable pond. In the middle of which stood a gazebo. The sky above was pink streaked with purple as the sun began to wane, birds lived high in the trees making giving subtle music. It was Chase's favorite place to be on his land.

This was definitely a spot Dalian had never been too before. He looked around in awe admiring the sudden beauty he saw around him. More so then he had seen before. "This is beautiful Chase." He smiled brightly at his feline mate. For a few seconds his wings fluttered and he wondered if he could take flight. No, he knew he could he just wasn't sure if he should. He had yet to really take flight since coming to this planet and the last thing he wanted his mate to do was freak out because it looked like he might fly away. It just seemed this was the perfect place to fly.

As if sensing his mates need, Chase nudged him with his face before jumping upwards rather comically.

Dalian looked back at his mate just in time to see him jump up. What? He was going to ask but then he realized what he must have been trying to say. "Oh, yes I do want to." He could tell his mate was encouraging him and he was happy he did. Seeing it was alright he took a step forward and his wings started fluttering again. This time when it did it was fast and long enough to take flight.
Up he went fairly high in the air and above his mate. It felt so nice to be able to fly again. To really spread his wings for the first time in a long time. He went from hovering to flying left and right. He even flew in circles though it may have seemed ridiculous. He did stop to hover again visibly stretching out his arms and legs in the air before speaking.
"Thank you again for showing me this place, its so...wonderful, and I see myself being able to fly back here a bit." He would love it. He just wondered if any of his children would have wings.

Chase chased after his mate on the ground, darting back and forth with a playful nature only truly shown in his cat form. When his mate spoke he mrowed at him and and nodded.

It was cute seeing his mate follow him from the ground. He really did just want to stretch everything out a bit and now he he really had a chance to do that. Somehow he imagined it was only when his mate was like this did he play around. He actually gave a light laugh at the thought quickly moving off to the side and landing on a branch of a nearby large tree. He didn't want to go up too high from his mate so he went on the one closest to the ground.
"Can you climb a tree sweetie?" He looked down at his mate wondering if they could sit up here together. He just liked high places himself but he wasn't sure if his mate would care. It just seemed like a lovely and somewhat romantic idea to watch the sun set at some point. Maybe not today, today he just wanted to be beside his mate.
Then maybe take a nap because he was actually pretty tired, so much happened and yet it seemed they barely did anything. "If not its fine." He added as an afterthought. The large branch he was on could seat two so he could safely get on here with him.

Chase back tracked before running and using his claws to dig into the bark. He easily made his way up the tree and beside his mate. Settling down on his belly, he rested his head in his mate's lap.

It was something to see Chase climb up the tree. He was powerful to pull himself up even in that form. He smiled again when his mate came up to him, resting his head on his lap. Dalian couldn't help petting him a bit there. "Thank you again for showing me this Chase, I look forward to coming back out here again." Especially with their children or child. He wasn't sure how many he wanted to have.

Dalian was definitely looking forward to it now. He didn't plan to stay here all day though, he lingered in the tree for about ten or so minutes before giving a faint sigh. "Alright, I'm ready to get down now." He kissed his mate on the head before petting him gently. He just waited for him to move, if he was still awake, before letting his wings take him down to the ground. "Can we go back in the house now?"

Chase had to be prodded a few times before he awoke and stood, shaking his coat before jumping directly to the ground. He then led his mate over to his clothes before transforming into a human and tugging his trousers on. Taking his mate's hand, he kissed his fingers. "I don't think I realized how much I even needed a nap," he grinned. "I seem to sleep best in cat form."

Dalian couldn't help smiling at his mate when he got down. He wondered if he was really so tired or rather why. When he changed back and dressed he spoke. "Are you not getting enough sleep?" He hoped it wasn't because of him. "If you sleep better in your other form perhaps we can sleep beside each other like that sometime." It was an idea he didn't mind trying. Besides his mates soft fur and large warm body seemed infinitely welcoming, something he could cuddle up to and nap against..
