Reluctant Heart (Killian/Talen)

Killian kisses his mate's forehead again, "Its okay. I--" Suddenly he freezes as his magic radar feels like lightning stuck it. "--SHIT."

[Ninia]

Talen jumped at Killian's outburst, still shaken from his nightmare. He looked up with wide eyes. "Killian...?"

[mesmu]

"My...My parents are coming."

[Ninia]

"Why?" Talen's confusion was clear in his voice. "How do they know where you are?"

[mesmu]

"My magic," he frowns and pulls out a dragonis scale. "If I left this at home they'd be even more worried than they are now... And they just want to take me home and finish my training, yada, yada, yada."

He smiles and pecks his mate's lips, "Why? You scared?"

[Ninia]

"No" yes "Are...Are you going to go with them?" Part of him didn't want to know the answer.

[mesmu]

"You're lying," Killian frowns. "And I'm only going if you are."

[Ninia]

Talen turned away from Killian and looked around what had been his home for the last 6 years. He looked back at Killian. "I don't know, when are they going to be here?"

[mesmu]

"One hour."

[Ninia]

One hour. That didn't give him much time to decide if he wanted to go with Killian. He had a family, Did he really want to keep him away from them. No.
"When they come, I'll...I'll go with you. If you want me to."

[mesmu]

Kill kisses his mate's forehead, "Please... I don't want to be apart from you... Ever."

[Ninia]

Talen nodded. It would be a while before he let go of his fear but...he wanted to be near Killian.

[mesmu]

The giver smiles lovingly, "It will be alright."

((time skip to parents arrival?))

Talen said nothing and just stood in front of Killian, trying not to look at him. He really wanted to believe what he was saying but knowing his luck something was bound to go wrong.

Killian had spent the hour generally being close to his mate, his magic making an occasional rock float lazily as he forces himself to stay calm. But then the sounds of fast footsteps and the growl of a wolf reaches his ears.

Holding Talen closer he tenses in case his parents thought him a captive and attacked with out warning. But no, his bearer comes trotting in, "Killian... Son, come."

"Wait... I have something to tell you and father," The young killer to be says firmly, but warmly. "it concerns our future."

"We will wait then... Your giver isn't too far off." The elder bearer barely spares a glance to the male being mostly hidden by his son as they wait.
