"I was going to order a bottle of Kinu wvine for out table," Graise said as he told the waitor his order.

"Really," Al wasn't sure if that was the expensive kind, or just a generally good drink. "As long as it tastes good." Which was the truth for him, he didn't mind what he drank as long as it didn't make him ill.

As it happened, it was the expensive kind that tasted good. "It's made from Kinu berries with a touch of kri," he shrugged. "Now, while we await our food, tell me something about you. Anything you want. Like... what are your parents like?"

From what Graise described, Al imagined what he ordered had to be expensive. Well, at least he wasn't cheap. "My parents..." He could certainly talk about his parents, quite a bit, but it sounded a bit childish. "Well, they are quite serious with earning an honest living," he never heard the end of it really. "They're always nagging me about doing something with myself, but its not like I'm doing absolutely nothing." He firmly felt he had himself set, maybe not for life, he was taking things two steps at a time, so to speak, not just living day by day, but not quite as serious as his parents wanted him to be.
"I have these two older brothers, ones a solider, the other actually owns a shop, and I sometimes think my parents want me to copy what one of them did, just because they see them having done something with themselves." It seemed he had become quite animated with his talking, frowning a bit as he spoke of the rather unpleasant subject that always irked him.
"Do you have any siblings?" Now he was curious to know.

"No siblings, no but a very large extended family. My bearer is a Reyl and we visit the outlands as often as possible to see the remainder of my family as they mostly reside in a moving camp," he said, a soft smile touching his face as he remembered the brood. "But as for your parents, they seem very serious. You're young, you should be allowed time to find out what you want to do and go for it."

Al simply gave a nod to what he heard Graise say, noting that he didn't have any brothers or sisters. He briefly wondered what this extended family was like, he certainly wasn't expecting to hear he was a Reyl, it made him ponder on what his parents would make of that little fact, nothing big he was sure with his occupation, or what he recalled his occupation was. "I'm curious to know, how did you come to decide what you wanted to do?" Not that he needed help figuring what he wanted to it, he was genuinely curious to know about this as well.

Graise shrugged, waiting for the waitor to settle their wvine down upon the table and leave before answering, "My best friend growing up was an AI. Silly, I'm sure you'd think, but not to me. I had not siblings and only got play with other kits when I visited my Reyl side so, as you can imagine, I got lonely pretty quick. "Giru was my father's AI, now mine, he's still by bext friend and I work very hard to ensure his expiration chip never, well, expires."

That was certainly something, to here someone had been friends with an A.I., not something he saw being silly though. At least this showed he had an open mind, that's how he saw it. "What's this Giru like?" He was curious now, sparing a glance at the whine brought to the table. "It is awfully sweet of you to go so far as to let that help determine what you wanted to do in the future." Sweet, as it was to see a kid attached to something so much, and he had said it was his best friend. There was no way he could diss something like that with a bad comment.

A small smile found Graise's face and his eyes lit up a bit not only at his mate's interest but because, even after all these years, Giru was still his best friend. "He is a AI modified to hold a Giver's persona. He can be funny but always know when I need to talk. he gives his own opinions and listens to mine." He shrugged, not really sure what to say.
The food was quickly brought out and saved him from continuing his explanation with the waitor set the dish before him.

Alphonse was genuinely interested in hearing about Graise, the bit he heard made him sound very interesting. It made him wonder if he could meet him one day, but then before he could ask he saw the food arrive. Of course he moved to eat, smiling down at the dish he ordered, it being one of his favorites. "What did you order again?" It slipped his mind, and he was just curious.

"Guaii Shak," he said and poured the offered sauce over the dish. Cutting off a piece of the tender meet with his fork, he offered it up to his mate's mouth.

Was that something he had tried before, Al couldn't recall. It looked really good though, so he was surprised when he had saw that fork was offered with food. He did hesitate for a few seconds, but then he was on that fork, mouth wrapped about it just enough to take the food that was there. It tasted great, it really did. "This is delicious," he spoke after chewing ans swallowing.

Graise grinned, he was surprised the man accepted his offer and took the mouthful, but didn't hesitate and slipped the empty fork in his mouth. Pulling it out and leaving in a taste of Shak and something else, something of Al's delicious mouth, he said, "It sure is. "

The moment Al saw Graise slip that empty fork in his mouth he found himself actually getting red in the face. "You realize I already ate the food?" Stupid question, but he hadn't been sure of what to say, so he spoke the first thing that came to mind, or one of them really.

Graise grinned at the silly question and actually leaned closer to the man in the booth to press a soft kiss to his cheek, "'Course I do, mate."
Leaning back in his seat, he shook his head in amusement and continued on with his meal.
