Alphonse was feeling a bit frustrated now, so he supposed cleaning wasn't the thing to go to right now, but he had been serious about it. Now however, he dropped them when he didn't hear any information on the whereabouts of his washing machine. What was his problem? Couldn't he let him do this much. He wasn't prepared for the next questions. Why had he come? He didn't have to, he could have tired to stay, maybe he ought to give this a chance. It seemed the guy was sincere, what did he have to lose? "I didn't say that, if I intended to, I would have done so from the start." He would have, he had no qualms when he was dead set on something .The funny thing was, he thought he had been dead set on turning the guy away.
"I..." He was really at a loss, casting his hazel eyes down on the floor. "I might be interested in making this work." He made a play at folding his arms rather stubborn, but instead really hugged himself a bit, as if that would do anything to make him feel better. "You just have to convince me how we can do that." Now he did not intend to talk about his feelings, he just wanted some sort of schedule to go by, that was all. Maybe a time they could meet, and see what happened there. He didn't like the idea of being tied to someone, but he did know a mate was a very hard thing to find, and he was lucky, even if he didn't care for it.
Graise stared at him, slightly confused by this shift in attitude but didnt mention it and instead focused on the more positive attitude the guy currently held. "Would you like to go to dinner with me tonight?" he asked.
Al felt uncomfortable being stared at, maybe he should have been adamant about turning this guy down, he wasn't giving in though, just being open-minded, something he always told his parents to be but they never listened. The last thing he wanted to do was end up being like them. What Graise said was more so amusing then surprising, that made him completely drop his unsure look to look up at the other male. "Dinner?" He placed his hands on his his with a brow raised. "That depends on where we're going?" Not to seem stuck up, but he didn't just want to fall over and say yes, it was that or he would have made a remark on going, but possibly not being there.
Anywhere he wanted to do, that gave him more options. "Well..." He was thinking, he was up for anywhere really, he wouldn't have turned him down. "I don't exactly have them oney to spend on some place fancy." So, he was asking him to go out for dinner, that didn't mean he was paying, for all he knew he would dump the bill on him."If you know any good places to go to, I'd be up for it." Which was a yes, hopefully he understood that. "Just don't expect me to pay for everything," he felt he wanted to make that clear now.
"I'm paying. I invited you, after all," Graise said, taking his hand and enjoying the nifty little sensation that ssaulted him. He was ridiculously pleased his mate had accepted so readily and it showed in his smile.
Well, that was a relief to hear. It would have been horrible to hear that he had to pay. He was surprised when he felt his hand taken, but he didn't pull away. It left him with a pleasant warm feeling actually, he wasn't sure how he felt about that. He didn't really want to start liking this guy too much. "I don't suppose you have a favorite food?" A random question, instead of pulling away, as he did consider doing for a moment.
Graise nodded, "I've recently tried the Earthling meat called chicken, it's exquisite. Unfortunately as we do not have chicken here, my favorite is Gri Bird."
Releasing his mate's hand, he grabbed his jacker and put it on before gripping the man's hand once more and leading him from the room and building. "You pick, where ever youw ant to go is fine by me."
Al mouthed the letter O, listening to what Graise said, he had never tried this chicken that he had. It sounded good though, he'd have to give it a try in the future. "Well that is good." Now that he had tried before.
"Now?" Alphonse was surprised when he was suddenly lead out of the building. "I just came back from work you know, I wasn't expecting to go anywhere." Did he even look proper to go anywhere. He didn't even stop by his place. "I guess somewhere that serves fish, anywhere is fine." He gave a general food he wanted, and hoped that Graise knew a good place that served it, but he supposed he could think of a place to eat at if it came down to it.
Graise said little else and led the boy downstairs and into a transport, giving the machine the address, they pulled up in front of a semi-casual restaurant. "Famous fish," he said with a wink in the man's direction.
Al was a bit flustered as he took in where they were going. Talk about being swept up, he hadn't the fondest notion to expect the guy here to take him anywhere. Before he knew it though, they arrived at a place to eat. "Oh, lovely," and that wasn't something said with sarcasm, he genuinely thought it was lovely, he did love fish, its why he brought it up. "Just lead the way in." Since he was paying as well, that and it just seemed appropriate.
Graise shook his head and opened the door for the male. "I am not so full of ill manner's that I would force by Bearer to serve me. I follow you, Al," he said with a twinkle and a wink from his eyes.
Once inside, they were seated and given menu's to look over as drink orders were taken. "Get anything you want, Al."
Yet another thing Alphonse was relieved to hear, that his mate wouldn't make him serve him. The thought irritated him, he never planned to be someones servant, especially to someone who was his mate. As far as he knew, that just wasn't how it worked, right? His parents certainly didn't feel obliged to serve each other. Hearing that Graise would follow him actually had his cheeks heating up a bit, or was it just the fact he gave him that look.
"Anything I want?" He was wondering if he had a limit, looking at the menu he already knew what he wanted. They weren't too pricey, but he was wondering if Graise was cheap.
With a faint nod Alphonse looked from Graise to the menu. "Then I'd like the Yisu fish." It was a fish he had only tied a few times, but he had loved it, it was suppose to be cooked in a special way, and only professionals did it. That excluded him, though he could cook a bit. If one had to compare it with an Earth fish, it was the equivalent to a puffer fish, but fortunately An never came across any problems. "And..." He wasn't thinking to eat another kind of fish, this was the drinks he was considering. "What kind of drink are you getting?" He just might order the same thing.
