Jabez nodded eying the candy pieces. It had been a while since he'd indulged in sweets other than his mate.

Making sure everything was set up on the table, Yosuke chose his piece, then looked up at his parents. "Do you want to play?" He figured they would, but found it was only his mother who agreed to play.
"Of course I'll play with you sweetie," Kneeling by his sone, Salmei chose what looked like a purple little gumdrop man, as all the pieces were based off a colored gumdrop person. He saw his son chose a blue one, leaving red and green.
"What color will you be Jabez?" Yosuke asked, placing his piece and his mothers.

"Alright, we're ready to start." Yosuke took up a little spinner that came with the came, flicking it first and getting a six, which was the highest number on it. The spinner went from one to six. "Let's all spin to see who goes first." He had the highest, so most likely he would. His other went next, getting a three, then he pushed the spinner over to Jabez.
"Now it's your turn." Personally Youske didn't care who went first out of them.

"Oh, you're going to have to go last." Yosuke stated, seeing the one. "Well, we can start now. He was the first to go, spinning a three this time, and moving his gum drop person that far. His mother came next, getting a six and landing on some peppermint looking jungle, there was something on it about taking a shortcut, letting his mother pass over several blocks to go to an upper part of the board.
"Your turn Jabez," Yosuke looked to his mate, wanting him to spin the spinner and move, hopefully he saw how easy the game was to follow.

Once again it was Yosuke's turn, and he spun a five. "You must be unlucky," Hr commented at his mates one. His blue piece moved five clocks before stopping.
Salmei wasn't as lucky as he was last turn, he had a two. "Ah, there." He moved his piece and smiled at the two around him. "Your turn again." He spoke to Jabez, looking forward to seeing who won, and maybe doing something special for his son.

This time Yosuke didn't bother commenting, spinning to get a four, while his mother got a five. He must have been really lucky today. Maybe he'd end up winning, he didn't really care if he did. "Your turn again Jabez." Yosuke moved the spinner towards him, wondering if thye could converse while playing.
"Hey Jabez, do you want to do anything after this?" He kind of wanted to go out for a bit, so he asked.

"Whatever you want to do," Jabez said and spun again, getting a two and moved two spaces.

Yosuke continued playing the game until everyone was six, or about six spaces. His mother was still close to winning, but stopped short of two spaces. Then he was just three, now it was Jabez's turn all over again. "Your turn Jabez, maybe you can win."

Jabez spun and got a one. It was almost pitiful as he moved his red piece with a blank expression.

Yosuke spun one more time and found he got a total of six. He mentally counted the spaces he would need to win, and saw he won. Smiling he moved him game piece all the way to the finish line. "I won," he stated happily, looking from his smiling mother, to his rather passive mate. "I'm sorry, I guess this was boring." It sort of was, but he honestly had fun.
"Oh no sweetheart," Salmei was quick to speak, "As long as you enjoyed it, I enjoyed it." It was perhaps a typical mother response, but that was what he thought.
"Were you really bored Jabez," Yosuke asked his mate, wishing he had something he could enjoy more, maybe he could go to a friends place to see if he they had some better games. He knew this one person who had these video games, he played it like a handful of times but it was really cool. What he really wanted to do was something he'd be a bit more active in, even though he felt a little lazy.

Jabez shook his head. It wasn't boring, spending time with his mate was always nice, but since quiting his random raids in the forest, he'd been feeling melancholy. He missed the chase, he adrenaline, and danger of killing and torturing, that was fun. The only thing he found that felt more than that, more fun, was having his mate and the times he could feel his child moving around in Yosuke's stomach. Anything else was just nice, not fun.
