Jabez flew through the dark skies of Jeskara, glowing eyes searching the woods for prey. He spotted a bird of prey flying from a tree and started for it, catching it in one taloned claw and wripping it in half, blood and guts spilling out, and he lowered his face to lap at the spilling blood.
Meat, fresh warm blood, the thrill of the kill -- those were the things Jabez lived for. He enjoyed nothing more than flying through the sky and hunting. But, of course, he was never happy with his life.

It might not have been the best choice to make, but that day Yosuke decided to venture out in one of his favorite forms, a bird. He had a bit of a hard time deciding what he should be, so he went with something relatively small. It was just, he had this particular way of thinking; if he was really small, who would bother with him, right? Wrong, that probably made him easier prey. That's probably why he occasionally found himself little hiding spots, like in the hollows of a tree, much like what he was in now.
After flying about with little trouble, mind you he knew there were people who would grab and try to eat him, being lucky so far. Besides, if he came across a threat, he could always shift forms, like a wolf, or even a bear. He wasn't all about small things that got crushed and eaten easily. Right now, he was awfully tempted to try for a song, not a smart idea either, but he firmly believed he could deal with anything that came his way. In fact, he started to sing a little song, not a bright and cheery one but it sort of sounded like it, with a series of twits, and chirps from inside the tree he hid in.

Jabez's meal was suddenly interrupted when he heard a bird's song. He had almost completely devoured the whole bird. Glowing eyes flashing, Jabez dropped the rest of his meal and darted for the direction of the song. His blood began rushing, and he hoped that this little bird gave chase, he was really in the mood for a good hunt.

Yosuke was quite fond of the little song he was singing, but of course it had to be interrupted. Well, he would say it was when he saw something coming his way, something that had him taking off. As if he would just sit around to let something catch and eat him, he made sure to swerve between the trees in hopes of avoiding whoever it was that spotted him.

Jabez quickly started after the bird having swirved through the trees, having done this many times hunting others, and he was fast. Quickly, he caught up with the bird and had it pinned with one hand against a tree. He was about to sink his nails into it when he had a though. He never use to care before, but..."If you're Jshiko, shift now. Even then, I can't promise I won't eat you, you made me loose the rest of my meal."

All of the rotten luck he had today, the moment Yosuke was caught he cursed, or what would have been if the only thing he did wasn't just tweets and chirps. Seems like he was as good as dead now, or was he lucky, the moment he heard what the deamon like creature said to him. Well, he didn't need to be told twice, he shifted immediately, finding himself still pinned to the tree.
"You make it sound like I made you chase me." The moment he had shifted, he spoke, glaring at the other male. "I didn't you know, all I was doing was minding my own business, then you had to chase me!" It was true, he didn't have to do anything to him; but he did wonder, how did he hear him, or find him for that matter?
"What's keeping me from shifting and just attacking you?" He supposed he didn't need an answer, looking at the situation now. With him nude, and being treated rather roughly by the other male, it should have been obvious.

Jabez scanned the nude body of the bird/Jshiko, ignoring everything he said. He was quite pleased with it, and had always had a thing for Jshiko; they were the most tasy. "I'm still hungry, I think I'll eat you anyway," and he leaned his head in to lick the Jshiko's cheek.

Yosuke felt he had been ignored, and found himself glaring. "What!" He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "No way!" He was going to struggle out of here if he had to, suddenly found himself being lick. "Ugh." There was no way he was going to be stuck here getting chewed on. "Get off of me!" Without warning, he took his chances and changed again, this time into a larger bird, a white crane to be exact, for its long beak, and legs. The moment he changed, he moved to peck, and scratch with his legs. If he was going to be eaten, as he was told, there was no way he wasn't going to fight first.

Jabez growled at the pecking and talons, and hands came tighter around the thin neck of the crane. "Stop it, or I'll slice your throat open. It's so thin, one slash should do it." He trailed a claw lightly against the soft feathers.

Yosuke didn't need to be told twice, he came to an immediate stop, especially when he felt a claw near his throat. He was tempted to try and speak, however reconsidered at the fact this guy could have killed him in a second. Instead, he simply stared, watching him to see what he would do, he didn't risk changing back either.

Jabez pulled the bird away from the tree, and lowered it carefully to the ground placing himself over the bird. "Change back, Jshiko don't taste as good in animal form.

Yosuke couldn't believe this, this guy really did want to eat him. Should he change back, either way it seemed he was in a tight spot. For a moment he let out a very low squawking sound, that was the equivalent of a sigh, then he changed back moments later. "Alright.." He trailed off, sitting on the ground. He felt he should have tried to fly away, but he got the message that he could, or rather would get killed.
"You...you can't just eat me though." He looked up at the Daemon like fellow, he had to be if he was going to eat him. "Can't I, make some sort of deal?" He was pretty desperate here, he had to figure something out.

"I don't like deals," Jabez said moving a hand along the Jshiko's body. "But, you can talk and if you say something interesting before you're dead, I'll think about it." Jabez moved himself closer to the Jshiko and licked his cheek again, hand still running along his body.

Yosuke glared at the Daemon, finding him very unfair, and he didn't like the way he was being touched either. "Hey, ah..." He tried not to make any weird noises, very inappropriate, with the others hand running across his bare skin. The Jshiko was really trying to think though, especially with the slightest chance he wouldn't die.
"Stop that, how would you like it if I licked you?" He knew he couldn't make the other stop, with his earlier attempts were nearly resulted in death, but he could try to convince him. "I'm sure you wouldn't enjoy being eaten either." If he was a meat eater, he would have tried to take a bite out of him, in a literal manner, not that he couldn't now, but he didn't want to risk getting killed, he felt this guy wouldn't hesitate.
