A pair of slim, nimble fingers pushed the slim frames up on a strong aristocratic nose as bright violet gold eyes scanned the great library's patrons. A pair of strong arms lifted a rather sizeable amount of books onto a cart, the tanned forearms exposed from the rolled up sleeves of the professional black silk button down. Dark slightly wavy, curly hair framed the beauty's face, and he pushed it back in annoyance, before pushing the cart down the aisles he had all but memorized, as he filed the books away with precision.
Isis sighed, manuevering around teens and adults alike, offering a small, kind smile here and there to those who greeted him. It was just another day on the job.
He had just shelved the last book when he turned around, colliding with a hard body.
"Oh!" he exclaimed quietly, his voice like honey over silk, his inky hair falling into his face again. "I apologize, I didn't see you there." he said, before his eyes connected with the stranger's face.

Maddox grunted when the, to him, tiny beauty bumped into him. "Watch where you're going." The big male snapped in annoyance, green eyes barely flitting over the librarian's form as he sidled past, swiping his dusty blond hair out of his face. He was already in a bad mood, and the scowl on his handsome face coupled with his eyebrow piercings served to make him only more unapproachable.
The demon was going to simply pass by the male, but his inner beast wouldn't allow such a thing. Even though his angry expression never changed, his words were cool and husky, a voice that hinted a dirty things done in a back alley. "A sweet thing like you shouldn't be pushing carts." What the librarian should have been pushing wasn't said as Maddox copped a feel of the male's pert ass as he slipped by.

Isis blinked at the male. He was handsome. Very much so--but his attitude made him seem much uglier, and Isis felt that he needed a shower just being around the male. He just felt...sketchy. Isis allowed the rude, huge male to slide passed him, but stopped at the hand on his ass.
Isis stiffened, spinning quickly and grabbing that hand in a vice grip that belied his calm and peaceful nature. "If you would like to keep this appendage, I suggest you keep it off of my person." he glared, voice still calm, but his eyes promising pain should the male take him for a joke.

Maddox quirked an appraising brow, eyes now trailing leisurely up and down the librarian's form. Even though he felt his hand in a vice-like grip, he wasn't particularly concerned. In fact, the tall demon merely pressed a hand to the bookshelf beside the male's head effectively boxing him in.
"I don't think you mean that sweetheart." Was his gravelly reply, voice deep and almost tired sounding. What was a few broken bones between acquaintances anyhow? Maddox wasn't belittling the male, merely pressing his luck when he leaned in and gave the Zercan's neck an appraising sniff.
"Tasty." He cooed before swiping the roughness of his tongue along the line of the librarian's pale neck, chuckling. He didn't mind getting punched or kicked or whatever the male had in store for him. What else would be new?

The brute, in fact, recieved all three. Isis probably would've let the male go, until he licked him. That was so not cool.
A lightening fast knee to the solar plexus, a kick to the pressure point in the male's leg, effectively crippling him for a moment, until a punch was landed to his jaw and the male found himself on his back in the matter of a few seconds.
Isis frowned at him, pushing his hair away from his face. It had fallen free from his ponytail to spiral around his face in thick black waves. "I must ask you to leave, after you recover." he said to the male, before spinning on his heel and marching off with his cart.
"ISIS! Isis, Isis!" came a familiar call as three males came barreling down the row. Isis pinched the bridge of his nose before turninig to face his cousin.
"Quiet down you all!" Isis glared at them, waiting until they looked admonished to speak.
"Yes? What is it, Drik'a, Orai, Calen?" he asked his cousins, looking at the ringleader of them all, the part vamp with the mischeivous brown eyes and short, spikey silver hair. Orai grinned, grabbing his cousin. "Let's go. Take off from work, like now. We're going to the docks!" he grinned.
"Yeah! There's a whole shipfull of Sensaforians coming here. They're thinking about building a spa." Calen, Xero and Jonas' younger son nodded excitedly. He was tall, but not quite as tall as his brother, with pale skin, deep brown hair and amethyst eyes.
"You have to go with us! Uncle Eppi's family is coming over. The Kirle's are all gonna go meet them!" Drik'a nodded. The male had surpassed his father as the most beautiful male on Zerca. His long snow white hair was tied in a ponytail, contrasting with his dark shirt and pants. His skin was milk white, and his eyes--one was a soft chocolate brown, and the other an electrifying blue. A wavy bang hung over the brown eye as he moved his head.
All in all, every single one of the males were absolutely gorgeous.

It had been so worth it. Maddox smiled dazedly up at the ceiling as his body learned how to breath again. All his tired mind could supply was, wow. Who knew the librarian could pack such a punch. Not only that, the beautiful male smelled so wonderful that the demon couldn't help but recall it. Spicy and exotic, that's the scent that was still lingering in Maddox's nose.
At the librarian's words, he merely waved his hand in the air to shoo him off as he basked in the afterglow of that one taste. This was something he was going to have to look into. Perhaps he'd persue the librarian for a bit, if only to ease his curiosity over the male.
Vaguely he heard the shouts of others and the name Isis thrown around. So, the librarian was named Isis? Maddox also heard the words Eppi and new spa and nearly groaned. He was the contractor for the Alnilam family and was due to show them around. It was rather ironic actually and not something that Maddox appreciated. Still though, he hefted himself up off the floor after he was sure Isis and the other male's had gone far enough away.
Smiling to himself, Maddox left the library at a brisk pace (if with a slight limp), heading to the docks to meet the Alnilam family before Isis and his crew.

"Alright alright..." Isis sighed, giving in to the puppy eyes and peer pressure. "It's about time for my shift to end anyway, let me go turn over control to Gitya and I'll be back in a bit."
He went to do just that, joining his cousins at the door, some of the patrons waved to the beautiful males and they grinned, waving back begore heading outside into the bright sunshine.
Calen jumped onto his bother's back, the group laughing and talking as they made their way towards the docks. Isis caught sight of familiar spotted hair and he grinned. "Uri!" he greeted the slightly younger male. Uri was the spitting image of his father: tall, spotted blond hair, and kind green eyes.
"Hey! So I guess you guys heard about my uncles coming into town?" he asked.
"Hell yes! Where's the party?" Orai asked, grinning cockily.
"Well the contractor just got here, so we gotta go meet him and wait for the ship." Uri explained, grinning, leading the group towards the loading docks.

The contractor was definitely there. Maddox towered over the general crowd, hands on his hips, looking cool and aloof as he chatted with Epsilon and his mate. Eppi was already huge with a second child, his belly jutting out and hand resting delicately atop it.
Finally the ship sped smoothly into port, the ramp lowering as it docked. The Alnilam family slowly trickled out, Eppi's nephews, Corbin and Bastien, running out first to greet this uncle happily. Zeta, their father soon followed leisurely along with his dragon mate, Eibhear.
Epsilon was smiling broadly as he was crowded by the first group, laughing at his silly nephews who were overly excited to be on Zerca. "I'm so happy father let us come." Bastien prattled, pushing his wavy blue hair out of his eyes.
"I just want to hurry up and see the place." The eldest put in. "And meet these Kirles I've heard about." Corbin was much taller than Bastien, taking after his father. His own blue black hair was cut in short curls close to his head.
Maddox shook his head at the whole business. He wasn't much for family reunions, but remained quiet as Epsilon's family gushed over him.

Darren grinned at the boys. "You two have grown so much since the last I saw of you." he smiled. "You'll meet everyone later tonight, at dinner." he explained to Corbin as Uri approached with Isis, Calen, Drik'a and Orai in tow.
"Hey Uncle Eppi!" they all chourused. "Yo Dare," Orai grinned, earning a small smack from Isis. "Mind your manners." he said with a smile, pushing his hair behind one pierced ear before his eyes locked with Maddox's.
"You...!" he said before he could stop himself.

"Hello boys." Epsilon smiled, laughing at Orai's forwardness.
Bastien practically squealed in happiness at the sight of Uri and practically tackled in cousin in his exuberance. "I've missed you!" He told the boy, looking over Isis and the others rather shyly. He hadn't seen them in ages either but he wasn't as close to them and they had still been little kids when they'd met. Corbin greeted the gaggle of teens in a more subdued manner.
Meanwhile, Maddox was grinning like the Cheshire cat, looking smug and full of himself as his gaze lingered over Isis. "Didn't think I'd be seeing you so soon." He said.

Uri let out a suprosed sound before catching Bastien with a grin. "Hey Basti." he grinned.
"Hey Bastien, Corbin!" Calen grinned, jumping off Orai's back, grinning at them. Drik'a, the most observant of the group looked between Maddox and Isis. "You know him?" he asked Isis, placing a hand on his cousin's shoulder, his beautiful face slightly concerned.
"Not really, no." Isis answered, shooting a dark look at the male before ignoring him alltogether.

"Calen, Orai." Corbin nodded formally before breaking out into a huge grin and slapping both male's on the shoulder in a friendly reunion. "Hello." Bastien piped in, still plastered to Uri and chattering his ear off with a peppering of questions.
Corbin had noticed the the interaction between the contractor and Isis as well. He wrinkled his nose at the male but said nothing. Maddox just laughed all of this off, ignoring the dirty looks. "Oh c'mon. Don't be like that Isis. Especially after all that we've been through." He messaged his jaw and gave the male a pointed look.

Isis frowned, before ignoring the male all together. "So Corbin, how have you been?" he asked, Drik'a nodding, showing he too wanted to know as he leaned on Isis' shoulder.

Corbin just chuckled, smiling as he shook his head, silver eyes darting to Maddox before he answered the question. "As fine as can be." He said readily. "Though I'm rather sad uncle Mintaka couldn't come." The male was still rather angry with Darren and refused to be apart of anything, much to the family's consternation.
"And how have the two most beautiful male's on Zerca doing?" Corbin added, eyes sparkling with suppressed laughter.

Isis just laughed at the comment, the sound like deep, pretty bells. "We're both quite alright."
"Hey! Don't mock us, you're just jealous." Drik'a teased with a grin.
"You are aware that Isi, Ori, and I are trying to score a transport to Earth right?" he asked. "None of our parents have ever been. We hear that all the rumors were all lies and that the place is really beautiful." he leaned in conspiratorialy. "You in?"
"Drik'a!" Isis frowned in disapproval.
