Jazzy grinned, after tossing a slightly disdainful glare at Akelah. "Dude, I'm a music teacher," he said, motioning to the various guitars and albums on the walls. "I can show you. Besides, it's easy." he said. "Kandii didn't know how either," he tossed in with a shrug.

Akelah growled in the back of his throat for being ignored, but didn't say anything else on the matter. He was going with them to the hospital anyhow, he'd decided himself. He couldn't let Corny go alone, now could he?
Corny smiled. "Sounds fun." The teen chirped.

Jazzy nodded, before beginning to dig into to his breakfast. He was happy he didn't have to cook today. Roller whinned to get out and Jazzy sighed before getting up and releasing the hound into the backyard. "Outside boy, outside!" he called, and Roller happily raced outside to do his business.
Jazzy returned to the kitchen where Damel and Kandii sat wrapped about each other and Corny and Akelah bantered lightly. As he sat down and observed the strange group, he couldn't help but feel that something about this was permanent--and that scared him.

Akelah suddenly had Corny in a light head lock, giving the teen a noogie as Corny laughed excitedly before managing to pull away. Akelah looked smug at this, earning a flick from the little male. The brother got along rather well, surprising since Akelah seemed so cold most of the time.
"Eat all of your food." The lion comment to Corny before fixing his black gaze of Jazzy, appreciatively raking over the male's form. Oh yes, this was going to be permanent.

Jazzy had started to hum a song that had been stuck in his head for weeks, "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga. Roller bounded back into the house and promptly laid at Jazzy's feet. Jazzy gave the little begger a piece of bacon before putting his empty plate in the dishwasher.
He hummed absentmindly as he put things away like the spices Corny had left out, amongst other things, smiling slightly at the brothers rough housing.

Akelah dabbed a pink tongue to his lower lip, wondering what it would take to make Jazzy like it him...at least a little. He admitted that he was a bastard, but come on, he'd been keyed up at the time. Stupid human. The lion snorted at that as Corny flounced over to put the other dirty plates in the dishwasher.
"Hello puppy." The teen said, squatting down, wanting to pet the dog. "Does he bite Jazzy?"

"Nah, he's a big creampuff. I couldn't pay him to bite someone." Jazz said, shaking his head. As if on cue, Roller rolled over onto his tummy to be scratched. Jazzy glanced over at Akelah, the big male looking out of place at his table. It wasn't so much that Jazzy didn't like the male---in fact, he thought Akelah was the sexiest thing on the whole fucking planet--but, he was also the most annoying.
The young music teacher sighed, before looking at his stove clock. "Crap!" he muttered, looking around for his car keys. He had to be to the hospital like NOW.

Corny grinned scratching Roller's tummy happily before jerking his head up as Jazzy looked for his car keys. "I have my transporter A.I." The teen offered helpfully.
Akelah just rolled his eyes, It would probably make Jazzy puke. The thought made him frown. "We'll take his vehicle." He told his brother sternly.

Jazzy didn't pay much attention to the brother's as he headed into the living room to look under the couch.
"Eureka!" he grinned, holding up the keys in triumph. "Corny, let's boogie. Damel, Kandii, get out." he said heading towards the door. "Roller, bed." he said and the dog grudgingly got up and ambled over to his bed, laying down and pouting.

Akelah blinked appreciatively at Jazzy's sudden efficiency. Such traits were admirable in a bearer and the lion found himself to be pleased. Although he wasn't included in the call "to go", Akelah followed everyone out the door, the last to leave the apartment, following after the bouncy Corny.
"Oh big brother, aren't you excited? I'm excited. I hear human hospitals smell of antiseptic. Do you think that's true?" The little teen continued to chatter along this vein to a willingly listening Akelah.

Jazzy opened the trunk of his car checking to see if all eleven drums were there, before closing his trunk door. He got in the driver's seat, blinking as Akelah got in the front and Corny jumped into the back. He was tempted to argue with Akelah and tell him to get out but he was SO late.
Jazzy pulled out of his driveway and drove the short way into the city and to the Atlanta Children's hospital. He got out, running a hand through his hair. "Um..." he fumbled around for the name until he remembered it. "Akelah? Can you grab a couple of these? Corny, you too." He said motioning with the drums.

Akelah frowned, not liking that his name was forgotten. Sighing in a strange resignation, Akelah didn't answer, simply grabbing the two largest drums as Corny did the same.
"Where to?" Corny asked, ready to follow

Jazzy gave Corny another drum to carry before handing Akelah two more. He picked up the remaining four and led the Lions inside of the hospital. A young, hansome young man with sparkling green eyes and black hair smiled as he saw them approach!
"Jasper!" came his accented voice, as he all but tackled Jazzy.
"Geo!" Jazzy grinned, awkwardly hugging the boy back. Geo grabbed Jazzy's face, kissing him on both cheeks and hugging him around the neck. "I've missed you!" he said, with a dempled smiled.
"You too, kiddo." Jazzy grinned. Geo's eyes were drawn to the males behind Jazzy.
"Who are your...friends?" he asked, looking at Akelah waringly, his arms still around Jazzy's neck.
"No, this is Akelah and Corny. I met them...recently." Jazzy said, motioning with his arms full of drums. Geo looked at Corny, a smile spreading over his face. "Hi." he greeted with a little wave.

Akelah wrinkled his nose at this new person, baring his pointed canines slightly. Who was this person to touch Jazzy in such an intimate way? If it wasn't for the drums, the new male would have been dead.
Corny just smiled back and gave a little shrug at the Geo person since his arms were full too. The teen also kicked Akelah in the shin to halt the older lion's sudden growl of irritation and jealousy. "Hush brother." Corny said, then to Jazzy. "My arms are getting tired!" He pouted.

"Gaspard, dearheart, you're gonna have to let me go now." Jazzy said calmly, as the hansome male pouted and let go, grabbing a few of the larger djembes.
"Let us go!" Geo said happily before leading the troup up to the room where the children were already waiting. Their faces were solemn until they spotted Jazzy around the corner.
"JAZZ!!!!" they all screamed at once, little cherub faces lighting up. Jazz smiled brilliantly as he set his drums down and was promptly mobbed by hugs. "Hey guys! I'm sorry I'm late," he grinned rubbing a few of the kid's heads.
"But--I've brought a surprise for everyone!" he grinned. He motioned to Geo, and the male placed down the drums, before going out of the room--returning with a beautiful Gibson Les Paul. He handed Jazzy the guitar, and he showed the children the instrument, and watched their excited faces as they each pointed out their pictures, which had been grafted onto the body of the guitar.
"That's so cool!" A couple exclaimed.
"Yep. And this is ya'lls guitar. I've got some smaller ones on order, so next month we can start learning guitar. Cool, right?" he asked, smiling. The children all nodded emphatically.
"Alright! Let's get to drumming. Everyone grab a drum." he smiled, distributing a drum to the three children in wheelchairs. "Also--I want you all to meet my assistants for the day-Akelah, Corny, and Geo." he said. "Say hi everyone."
"Hi!" the kids all chorused, some adding waves.
