Akelah skulked. He was good at skulking and now was do different. His black complexion blended with the shadows of the night as he silently stalked the male he'd been hunting since Jeskara. The vampire had killed many and there were rumors that he was apart of a secret faction out to kill the Shodan.
The lion frowned at the thought. He would have to catch the vampire, interrogate him, and then kill him. He sighed. It was going to be a long job, had been a long job, and he was tired already as it was. He sighed again, yet he made no sound as his keen eyes spotted movement.
Shifting, the Zercan moved closer in his black lion form, stalking and ready to pounce the unknowing vampire.

Jazzy walked down the darkened streets of Atlanta towards the club where his band was playing tonight, singing lightly to himself under his breath. The weight of the guitar on his back was comforting as he made his way to the Underground, unaware of the eyes following him as a tongue darted out over sharp, bloodthirsty fangs.

Akelah's nose flared as a sudden, unfamiliar scent hit him. He paused, head tilted up to scent the wind. A growl escaped him and he took a few steps towards the scent before pausing and shaking his shaggy head. What the hell? Chuffing in confusion, he continued on his way to a place that was lit of strangely, the colors blinding his sensitive eyes. Where was the damn vampire?
The damn vampire had found some prey of his own.

Jazz made his way inside of the club, still oblivious to his being watched. He headed backstage to place down his instruments and talk with his band for a bit before he headed back out to the club to grab a bottle of water.

Poor Jazz probably never saw it coming. He was grabbed roughly by a pair of strong hands and whisked out to the back alley. The vampire moved faster than a blink, no humans even able to see him or his catch.
"Hello snack." He rasped as he pinned Jazz roughly to the wall. The vampire snapped his fangs in front of the male's face, saliva dripping down his chin in the anticipation of blood.

Jazzy's eyes widened in slight fear. What the hell--how did he get out here?! He heard a menacing voice as he was shoved to the wall, hissing as his back connected rather sharply with the brick.
"Whoa, man." Jazzy said, throwing up his hands. "I don't even know you--What's up dude?!" he said, trying to push the man's body from his own. When that didn't work, he struggled some more before looking past his attacker and gasping in fear. "Holy fuck! What is that?!" he screamed.
When the vampire imposter turned, for the briefest of second, Jazzy promptly kneed him in the balls and took off runn down the alley.

Akelah was there to meet the fleeing Damel at the mouth of the alley, growling low in his throat. His huge lion form took up most of the space, his shoulders brushing the sides, but he didn't care. The vampire was his, along with the male who the creature had tried to take.
The Zercan swiped out a paw, sending Jazz to his ass as he heard the vampire hissing as he recovered. Trying to ignore the sweet scent of the male he had just pushed down, Akelah moved.
Killing the vampire was easy. In a loud roar followed by a scream, Akelah attacked. Blood flew everywhere and then there was silence. He supposed he shouldn't have killed the thing, but he'd be so angry for some reason and the vampire had to die.

Jasper didn't wait around for the--whatever the hell it was to turn on him. He stood, racing out of the alley at top speed, wincing as he heard the roar and scream.
'What the fuck?!' he thought as he ran.

Oh, the nice smelling male was not running from him! Akelah abandoned the bloody corpse of the vampire and gave chase, black fur strained crimson.
The Zercan didn't roar again, but he didn't pound after the human. He let the male run for a bit, letting him think that he was actually running, before the lion pounced on him from behind.

Jazzy let out a frightened scream as he was brought down. He hit the pavement, looking up into large, heavy blackness and sharp teeth stained blood red.

Akelah breathed deeply of the male beneath him. He smelled chocolate and shoved his nose in the human's hair, chuffing it around with his harsh panting. Yummy. It smelled good. It made the lion wonder if the smell would also taste good, so he licked the male's smooth skin.

"Ohshitohshitohshitohshit...."Jazzy murmured to himself as he shook from fear as the lion dragged his rough tongue over his face and neck. Where the fuck had a freaking LION come from anyway?!
Jazzy closed his eyes and hoped not to die.

Oh god. Akelah found himself purring. Purring! This was not good. He had to figure this out.
Gently, the lion clamped his jaws around the male's thin waist, lifting him off the ground like a little kit. Pleased with this, Akelah trotted of into the night back towards his ship. He was going to figure this thing out if it was the last thing he did!

To say Jazzy was scared would be the biggest understatement of the fucking millenium.
"Ohmygod...." he shook, as he was picked up. He felt the huge, powerful jaws closed around him and he just knew he was going to die. "Oh god he's going to use me as a fucking toothpick!" he shook.

Akelah ignored the scent of fear. He was being gentle. He didn't break anything or make the human bleed. In his mind. This was good.
The lion trotted for a long time, taking the male far from the city and too a deserted field where his ship shimmered to life.
