Worso was glad he was offered the chance to spend a bit more time being able to see what this human did. He still missed the baby chick but he figured he would be able to see it later. He hoped at least. It was something he had in mind now as he went along with Hadyn. Finding himself in that vehicle again and going off somewhere that didn't seem too far. All the while he noted where they passed and where they were though in general he wasn't sure where they were. More like what this place was called. He figured by now though wherever they were was owned by the human he was with. Which made him think he had quite a bit of money. Or so he assumed. Not that it mattered whether he was rich or not. He wasn't thinking to live off of any humans. All he wanted at first was a push in the right direction so he could survive on his own here. But it seemed he was getting some help here.
Dark mauve orbs looked thoughtfully around at their destination. He saw how the human he was with had gotten out of the vehicle and started to work. Something he watched from inside the thing he sat in but then decided to get out. It was really far too hot here. He wondered how he had been so unfortunate to end up in a place like this. Definitely not a place for his kind to be in. He couldn't help but frown a bit as he looked up for a brief moment before directing his gaze back at the human he saw working and looked like he was having a bit of a difficult time. Well, he wasn't sure though. He supposed this was how it was suppose to be but with what he saw the human was doing he could only imagine he would be out here baking in the sun. Now he reconsidered coming but he was already here and he couldn't change that.
"Would you like some assistance?" Worso figured he should ask with what he saw here. He didn't like the idea of working out in the sun like this but he would manage. As long as he could get some water later then he figured he had nothing to worry about. "Really, I don't mind." He thought to add that in case the other male reconsidered his offer. He really just wanted this to be over and done with so if one more hand helped speed it along then so be it.

Hadyn panted, sweating under the hot sun as he worked. He paused when the other made the offer and leaned against the warm hay. "You," he panted out, his usually pale cheeks suffused with red and a bit damp from perspirance, his shirt beginning to stick to his body, "can if you want to." He paused to swallow and drag the back of his hand across his forehead, feeling tendrils of dark red hair beginning to stick. "But you don't have to." He smiled at Worso and resumed pushing, feeling the hay bale beginning to give a little and internally rejoiced. Hah! It wouldn't be long now, and then the hay bale would be out! Then he'd be going inside to clean up and make lunch. His stomach was starting to growl, and he imagined that Worso was probably hungry, too. A sandwich sounded nice. Perhaps some of that potato salad he had in the 'fridge would do nicely as well. He would have to ask what Worso liked to eat though, so that he wouldn't be feeding him things he didn't like. Hadyn was pleased to have a guest at all, and he didn't want to drive him away--and he wanted to be a good host!

Worso held a thoughtful look upon his features as he looked over what exactly he was offering to help with. Looking at the human here he saw this was indeed strenuous work. Work he wasn't so fond of doing himself. He supposed though it was only proper to offer and actually go through with helping. "No I want to help out." He really did, not wanting to seem like someone who simply came to loaf around. Not like he was an expected guest though. All the more reason to do something to help. With that thought he moved to do just that. However before he really did anything he paused and considered something as he looked over Hadyn. "Before i do that however I want to do this first." After that was said Worso suddenly went about removing his shirt and placing it in the truck before coming back to look at the human he was with.
"I would rather my shirt not get all sweaty." He wasn't fond of the idea of perspiration. Although he also wasn't fond of revealing his bare skin out to the sun he would rather do that then get sweaty. It was with that said Worso came to try and help. He would think try due to the fact that he wasn't sure how to go about this other then what he saw the human do so he tried to copy him the best he could. Although he felt he would get dehydrated quicker, something his kind shouldn't go about doing, he imagined or at least hoped he could get water later so he saw no big problems with that.

Hadyn nodded. "Okay." He stopped pushing, because he didn't want to risk pushing it while Worso was climbing into the truck--if it rolled then, Worso might be crushed under it! That would be terrible. Hadyn would feel awful, of course, and the lawsuit on top of that...well, he'd pass that, thanks. The redhead watched, a bit perplexed as the strangely colored young man removed his shirt, revealing a lithe and toned upper body. The young man certainly was more toned than Hadyn, and he felt a bit ashamed of how little visible muscle he had. Even working like this didn't make him get muscular...!
He hastily averted his eyes however, because he didn't want to be caught staring. Worso was very attractive, indeed, but Hadyn knew many people weren't comfortable with being admired by those of their own gender. He wanted to be polite and not upset his guest any. The help made the work go much more quikly, and in short order they had the hay bale on the ground and rolled over to the others, where Hadyn could fork it into wheelbarrows to take to the horses at a later date. After that it was only a few minutes' work to unload the few bags of feed and put them away, and then they hopped back in the truck and Hadyn took them to the house.
"We can wash up, now." He smiled, glad for it; the human was flushed, his face red across the cheeks and over his nose, damp with sweat; his hair clung to it. "Thank you for all your help. Here's the bathroom;" He showed him. "Feel free to take a bath or a shower--whatever you like. I'll be showering." He left and went to his own room, where he enjoyed a shower. He came out about twenty minutes later, a pair of comfortable slacks and a white shirt on, his hair pulled back into a ponytail, somewhat damp and already pulling up into large curls, falling down to his waist. He took his dirty clothes to the laundry room, and then went to the kitchen to prepare food.

More often then not Worso wondered if he really should have offered to help. It was just when he was helping he also got hot and perspired. As was expected he supposed. Still, he wasn't fond of it. The only good thing that he would say came out of it was the fact that he had helped Hadyn finish his work. Something he was glad about at the end of it all. He felt even better though when they left and returned to the home of the human he was with. As he exited the vehicle he made sure to take up the shirt he had taken off with him. Of course he was going to wash up. He was more into a bath then a shower but it wasn't like he needed to comment. He just went along his way to the room he was given at a rather quick pace. He didn't like being all hot condition he was in now and he felt the need to cool down.
Going into the room he was given to stay in he rushed to head into the bathroom. The first thing he did was turn on the shower. Simply for the sake of soaking himself which he did right from the start. It was then he came to start a bathe. He only wanted to soak in the water for a bit. Something he did as soon as had the tub full of water. He sat himself briefly debating on whether he could entirely relax or not and briefly switch forms. It wasn't like he was buried underwater but he was partially with the bath water. For just a moment he changed to the form his kind were known for. After being in the sub for so long why couldn't he just sit and soak here. He also thought back a bit on what happened so far and he wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Just that he couldn't say things went bad exactly. Besides the weather he was at least with a pleasant enough human. He supposed he couldn't think that things were completely bad here with the fact he wasn't exactly in a bad place. Still things could be better.
At the moment, as Worso lay in the tub with the bathroom door closed but not locked, he came to stare off into space as he looked up at the ceiling. Well, it looked like he was but he was really lost in thought. Consider if he would be able to stay here the whole time he was here. He didn't think he could so he had to figure something out. He thought quite a bit on this as he raised on of his bed hands and ran it through his light mauve hair. Then briefly snapped out of his train of thought to look over himself. He could hardly believe he had to reduce himself to simply make due with a bath instead of some larger body of water. Well, at least he had something. This was better then nothing. Especially in this hot area. Still as he looked down at his tail he had partially under the water as much as it could be. He briefly took a moment to glance about the bathroom to note the clothes he had taken off and set on the floor in the bathroom. When he was done here he had to go retrieve some new clothes from the bag he had back in the room. He would just randomly put on some new clothes and then he supposed he would check to see what was going on with the human. He had no idea what he intended to do next. He couldn't help but wonder though if it involved him going out into the sun again. He was hoping that wouldn't be the case but he felt it might be.

Hadyn took a few minutes to prepare the potato salad and then hesitated. He thought about making a sandwich, but he didn't know what Worso would like to eat. He looked through the fridge for a while, but eventually had to give in. He didn't dare try to make food without knowing what he would want to eat, so the redhead went back upstairs and went into Worso's room. He knocked lightly at the door. "Um, sorry to bother you...I was wondering if you had anything you wanted to eat for lunch. I thought about sandwiches, potato salad, and chips. Is that alright with you? I mean...are you allergic to anything?" Wouldn't it be horrible if Hadyn fed the poor guy something he was allergic to?

Worso wasn't sure how long he had been laying in the tub but at some point he seemed to drift off. It was only when he heard a sudden knock on the door did he find himself alert once more. His eyes widening briefly and looking back towards the door wondering if he had been seen. Though he considered being spotted he was still in the form his kind were known for. It seemed today he was lucky as he noted the human hadn't actually come in the room. He couldn't hep but let out a sigh of relief before he went ahead to speak. If he hadn't heard wrong then it seemed he was being asked what he wanted to eat or rather if he was alright with what was being served and if he was allergic to anything.
"I'm just fine with that." It was what Worso first called out from the bathroom as he lingered there longer then he intended. Still in the tub in hos definitely only half or partially human looking form. The rest of him very much resembled a fish. With his webbed hands, that were always there really, and the gills he had set upon his face that were all quite visible shown. Surely if that human was rude and had just walked in he wouldn't have seen the appearance of the exact same young man he had met earlier and the last thing he wanted was any trouble that would get him discovered for what he really was. Not that he would think it was such a big deal if it wasn't for the fact he was sure he would get kicked out if discovered if not sold off somewhere as he had heard particular stories about what could happen to one here. He wouldn't want to end up in an even more limited space then he was in already. "And I'm not allergic to anything." He called this out loud enough to be heard and almost thought to add something more but he didn't care to get all wanting or however one would word it. He was just going to say he had a preference for fish but what were the chances that this place would have that and he didn't care to make anyone go out of their way for anything either so he remained silent and hoped to relax in the tub just a bit longer.

Worso took a long time to respond, and Hadyn worried for a minute, then heard the slight sound of water sloshing in the tub and relaxed; Worso responded, and he was pleased to hear that what he had prepared was alright. He smiled and responded, "Alright. Lunch will be ready whenever you get out, okay? I'll be in the kitchen." He went back downstairs and took his time making the sandwiches. He had chicken laying around, sliced semi-thin; he didn't have a meat slicer, so it wasn't as thin as sandwich meat. The meat in question had come from a rooster which had gotten unruly and killed one of the hens' chicks, and Hadyn didn't put up with that.
In any case, the rooster was delicious, and had made a fantastic roast. He would undoubtedly also make a fantastic chicken sandwich. He piled the food onto two plates and put them in the fridge, intending to be polite and wait for his guest to get out of the bath before he ate. It would be impolite to eat first, after all, and Hadyn didn't mind waiting at all!

Worso thought it was probably about time he got out.At least the fact such a question was asked encouraged him to. So with a sigh he reluctantly went back to his more human form where he then went about exiting the bathtub only after releasing the water and then grabbing a towel. Something that didn't take long as he went about drying himself and quickly exiting the bathroom going to get dressed. He decided upon a plain white shirt and the classical ,or so he would think it was too used, black pants. He just didn't care to pick out anything else and honestly this was a random pick. He wondered if he should have tried for something else. He never was one for fashion though so he was quick to let the subject drop.
Before Worso knew it he was exiting the bedroom and heading down towards where he thought that human would be. He realized a little too late that he had no way of finding his way around. Although he was show around he couldn't really have expected to remember all that and he didn't think he was show wherever the human would be. Oh well, he would do his best here to find the human. Hopefully he crossed paths with him or just found the area he was in.

Hadyn heard a noise in one of the hallways, someone walking and smiled. Worso was probably lost. He put down the towel he'd been using to dry a dish and walked out, looking for him. He found him near the living room. "Worso...I'm sorry, I forgot that you wouldn't be able to find your way. The kitchen is over here." He smiled and led the odd colored young man to the kitchen, brought out the plates and set them onto the table. He then got out the bag of chips and some dip and served each of them a spoonful of dip and a few handfuls of chips, gathered a few napkins and set them down. He surveyed the table, murmured, "Ah!" before hurrying to the drawer where he kept the silverware and retrieved two forks. Once those were set down, he pulled out a few glasses and poured himself a glass of tea.
Hadyn paused and looked up at Worso, secretly admiring how nice his white shirt and slacks looked. "What would you like to drink? I've got water, tea, juices--orange and apple and grape--and...ahh...wine, if you'd like, but I usually only have it at dinner."

Worso was relieved to see the human had come to find him. He really had wondered if he would simply be wandering about all day. It seemed he was lucky as he saw the human and heard his apology. Something he only gave a slight shake of his head to as he thought an apology wasn't necessary. He however did not bother to speak up as he looked to simply follow Hadyn to what he saw was the kitchen as he had come to state. He took note of it before he went about minding the food. He would admit, well not out loud. he had never tried these foods displayed before him but was quite curious as to what it tasted like. He debated on it in his mind though.Whether he would eat this or not but it was rude not to and he was curious so he decided to go with that. "Thanks for the food." He thought to utter that much now while he had the chance.
Hearing the question referring to what he wanted to drink he pondered on it a bit. Those drinks made weren't familiar to him though he knew of the fruit to some extent. Just never tried it. "Anything you are having is fine with me." This was said with a smile, simply to be polite, it wasn't often if at all he smiled around others he knew so little about. He just wondered what the human was thinking of him. Just a random thought of sorts but he really wasn't sure what to make of the human and he didn't think to go reading his mind. Not that he couldn't. He just wasn't always fond of doing so when he knew it was rude and he had no reason to do now.
"Is this what you usually eat?" Worso was curious so why not ask. He was just about ready to mention that he had never tried these foods before but then kept silent about that as he thought that might be hard to believe or wasn't normal as he found the food was quite common. At least what he knew of it. "I'm just curious to know." He added this also at random. "I haven't tired a lot of these." Actually he hadn't tried any at all at any point in time but at least he hadn't been completely untruthful. It was a bit bothersome to do so when he didn't like to be lied to either. Especially by some stranger one was being kind to. Not that he ever saw himself doing that though.

The redhead's smile widened when he was thanked, and he cheerfully responded, "It's no problem at all!" His bright green eyes sparkled as he went about his business of fixing everything up. He nodded in response to Worso's question. "Yes...well, some days. I don't always have potato salad with lunch, but I made too much for dinner yesterday, so whenever I have leftovers from dinner, I eat those for lunch. I don't like to waste food." He paused as he washed his hands at the sink. "I do have sandwiches a lot, though. They're easy, and I can easily make them in small quantities."
Hadyn frowned down at his hands as he dried them, and spoke more slowly, his voice tinged with sorrow and longing. "Cooking for one person is kind of a hassle, you know? Most recipes are big, to serve a whole family. But I live alone. So..."
He trailed off for a moment, then forced himself out of those thoughts. Lonely or not, he had a guest, and nobody wanted to hear his problems, so he forced a smile. "Anyways! It'll be nice to be able to cook for you, too. Have a seat, I'll get your tea," He poured Worso his glass of tea and then set it before him before Hadyn took his own seat, and began eating without preamble, neat and polite.

Worso had his gaze wandering from the food to the human that he had come to gain some assistance from so far. Well a lot from where he was now. Not only did the human let him stay here he fed him as well. Something he thought he would have to do himself but wasn't quite sure how to go about. At least in the manner he was use to doing which was gathering his food. The area he lived in it wasn't a problem to go fishing or simply eat what grew naturally about. Here he had no idea what was what let alone where to go to find what he was use to eating. The stuff set before him would have to do and honestly he didn't find any problem with that. Especially when the food didn't smell bad as he noted as he even took a moment to catch a scent. He really was looking forward to eating this stuff the human laid out for him.
It was interesting to hear what the human had to say. That is referring to what he hate. So he didn't waste food. That was a good thing. At least that was how he saw it and simply gave a slight nod to it. He wasn't sure what to make of what was said next. The fact that the human sounded as if he were possibly sad or he could have imagined it. Now he was very tempted to speak with the human or rather read his mind. He was tempted but he did no such thing. Especially when he noted the human stopped talking about it anymore. That usually meant he didn't care to speak of it.
Very briefly Worso frowned as he wondered what could have happened to have the human alone here. For the first time he found himself really taking a good look at the human. Human or not he appeared attractive to him. He certainly wouldn't leave him alone here by himself if he had the chance to be with him. He just didn't get why any other human would do so. He considered asking for a moment but then he heard what was said next and thought the subject was one that was brushed off for now. With that he noted the human came to seat himself and soon started to eat. Something Worso did not do just yet.
Instead of diving into eat Worso found himself still speaking to eat. "I don't understand." He spoke, as if he were confused on something though he didn't quite sound it. "I don't see why you would be alone when you are clearly quite attractive." He said this, obviously looking over the human he was with now thoughtfully, really taking in his facial features. "I certainly wouldn't mind being with you." This was stated in a sort of factual way. He said he wouldn't mind and he really wouldn't. He had come to flirt or anything but merely said what he thought as he was known to do when he felt it was alright to though he wasn't sure if it was now. Now that he gave it much thought now.

Hadyn felt stupid. He never should have said all of that about being alone! It made him sound needy and pathetic, and really, it wasn't as if Worso had asked or anything. He probably didn't care at all, and Hadyn couldn't blame him. They were complete strangers, and Worso had bigger problems than Hadyn did anyways, he thought, judging by how the poor guy was out in the middle of nowhere alone, without any place to stay and all.
He looked up from his food when Worso spoke suddenly, and blinked with confusion. What didn't he understand? Hadyn was opening his mouth to ask just that when Worso answered his unasked question. His mouth closed with a slight click of teeth and Hadyn's pale skin flushed an attractive pink with his sudden embarassment. He opened and then closed his mouth a few times, quite embarassed--and flattered, of course! "I...I don't really know. I mean...I've only dated a few people...But nothing ever worked out. And--and, thank you.." He looked down at his plate, face hot with embarassment--and yes, flattered pleasure. It was nice to hear that someone as attractive as Worso thought he was attractive, but Hadyn wasn't sure how to respond to that sort of frank, openness!
He fidgeted for a time before chancing a look up through his bangs, offering a slightly shy smile. "Thank you. You're...you're quite attractive, too." And then he looked down again, because...well, because he was blushing, and he didn't want to be seen blushing!

Worso wondered if there was something surprising or shocking about what he said. That thought inspired by how he noted the human seemed to stutter. He didn't think on that for long though. He merely considered now what was said to him. He also found it hard to believe that the other male had hardly dated people. The human just appeared so...attractive he couldn't think anything other then the fact that he was desirable by many. But then again perhaps humans had different tastes. He knew he did in a way. That is, he knew that he didn't like everything everyone else did. Perhaps that was it. Well, regardless he didn't think too into it. "Another thing I find hard o believe." He spoke, thoughtfully also wondering why he was thanked. He said nothing but the facts and that wasn't something he thought anyone should to thank another for.
Looking at the human still with the way he looked he couldn't help but find him cute. He couldn't help but give a somewhat genuine smile as he looked at the human male as he seemed to look down. That was cute. He would think that was a fact as well and not simply a compliment he could utter. He could say now he wasn't expecting a compliment himself. At least he wasn't horrible looking in human standards. He would think the only thing that made him stick out was his hair and skin but other then that, besides the visible webbed hands, he didn't think he was that different from any other human in his human appearance. "I thank you for the compliment." That was spoken with the usual passive expression that seemed set upon his features more often then not.
With that said Worso decided now seemed like a good time to eat. Something he went ahead and did as he took a bite out of the food seeming to notably seemed to taste the food. That is this was his first time trying it so he was seeing how it tasted and didn't dive into the food he was starting to eat. He found after a moment of tasting the first bite of the food he was eating it didn't come to have a bad taste. It was with that thought he started eating more. Though this still wasn't as good as some of what he ate he found he could eat more and certainly wouldn't have to hunt or anything of the sort unless it really came down ot living on his own for whatever amount of time he was here.
He supposed it was a bit random that he came to pause after swallowing one of the bites of food he made but he felt the need to say it since he didn't say it before. "Are you really not with anyone now?" He did find it that hard to believe. "Surely someone as cute as yourself has someone who had their eyes set on you." He once again felt like he was stating a fact. That and he was curious to know more about the human he had come to know as Hadyn. Not that he wanted to be nosy. He just didn't want to stay here and end up running into a lover. The thought for some reason was more disconcerting then he felt it should be. Perhaps because he thought the human was cute and he had been awfully nice to him. But that was it. At least he thought it was. There was nothing more then that or at least that was how it should be.
