Mao had traveled what seemed like a great distance before he had come to where he was now. That place being the capitol city in Zerca called Scrijx Citi. He had after all come from his home planet Parinenai. His reason for coming here was perhaps for the most part out of curiosity. It was his own choice to travel. Besides he had heard quite a bit about the planet and he looked forward to seeing it for himself. That's why he was now standing outside somewhere in the capitol. If one asked him where he was he couldn't really answer with his lack of knowledge on the layout of the town. He could easily get himself lost with his wandering around, that seemed to be what he was doing, simply going wherever his feet took him though he had something in mind. Well, maybe not exactly something like a place in particular but he knew what he wanted to see and it wasn't simply just the capitol.
Dark lavender eyes stared out at their surroundings whilst Mao raised a hand to shade his eyes from the sun. a few strands of midnight black hair fell onto his face but he paid little mind to that. In order to keep it from getting in his way he had tied it back in a low ponytail so it only trailed down his back and now in all sorts of directions if the wind was to suddenly pick up. Currently Mao let his gaze pass by the other people, Zercans or whoever was about, pass by as he stood a bit towards the middle of the set path everyone walked on. He really should get going himself now. Not like he wanted to attract any attention towards himself by just standing in one spot out in the open and doing nothing. He had yet to really look around since he arrived on the planet and that sounded like a pretty decent idea in his mind. He was already turning to walk off now thinking seeing the deep blue waters the planet held one of the first things he wanted to see. If he could find his way around. Perhaps asking for a bit of assistance would be necessary but he didn't think to randomly go up to someone and ask them for assistance.
It seemed to Mao he was on his own at that moment. A faint sigh suddenly left his momentarily slightly parted lips. He had come to rest his arms at his sides as he walked now with thoughts of what he was going to do next still in mind. His current attire was that of a simple black shirt with a matching black pants. Not that he was going for any particular style, he never had a reason to, it was just something to wear and so wear it he did. That was the farthest thing from his mind at the moment. He was actually considering speaking to one of the locals but still highly doubted he would.

Rosaic laughed as the other Zercans moved out of the way, sighing as they did. They muttered about the 28 cycled male not acting his age. But hey what fun was that. So far Rosaic was beating the gramba that held his clothing on it. He made a roaring laugh as he raced the gramba.
But it was then that he saw a flash of black and he stopped, the orange eyes locking on the male. This wonderful, beautiful, non-zercan male! He made a rough purr, feeling giddy...
The gramba fell over him and he cursed, shifting back and pulling on his long black traveling cloak quickly before he helped his gramba up. He then brushed himself off. Standing in his seven foot glory, towering over quite a bit of Zercans, he walked over to the male as he smiled.
"May I be of so service, my good male?" Rosaic asked the male, that beautiful one that had the beast roaring for his claiming. Rosaic got out another black ribbon, fixing his hair in a low ponytail.
"I don't bite. I promise ya that. Haven't since I was a kit." He said, his voice making a musical purr as he looked at him.

Mao found himself coming to an abrupt stop as a rather tall Zercan, the tallest he had seen so far, had actually come to him. This was certainly an unexpected turn of events. Had this Zercan really offer him some assistance? He was sure he hadn't been mistaken as he looked up at the Zercan fellow. He had offered help so he didn't imagine he had anything to lose here. It was exactly what he needed so he should mentally offer his thanks to whoever gave him this chance even if it was just a coincidence. Although the first thing he had in mind wasn't to talk to a stranger he really didn't see himself being so rude as to pass him by.
"If you don't mind, I am in need of a guide." He spoke, looking up at the rather tall Zercan with his dark lavender eyes.
He supposed he certainly didn't expect anything bad to happen here but he really knew little about most of the things around this planet. It was why he needed a guide in the first place.
"I haven't been here long and the last thing I want to do is get lost." He kept what was a passive expression set on his features as he spoke. He wasn't sure if this Zercan would still be willing to help him but so far he didn't seem to have a problem with the fact he had been the one to come up to him in the first place.

"That's not a problem. Anyplace ya want to go in particular?" Rosaic purred as he made a small smile on his face. He made a small sound as he smiled.
He motioned to his gramba, "Hopped on and we'll fix ya right up mi lad. Just tell me where to go and I will show you and my gramba will follow me."
Rosaic looked at the male's hand as he made a little sound, "I'm called Rosaic by the way. And I call this girl here, Sheila." He pointed to the gramba as he motioned. He undid his ribbon, flicking his hair free and letting it hang down. He blinked as he looked at the male, "If ya don't mind me asking....ya know what never mind."
He made a sound as he started walking out of the city, "I take it you want out of the city?"

Mao had to admit he was glad that this Zercan didn't seem to have a problem with helping him. He supposed he was quite lucky then. "Well I was hoping to get a chance to see the deep blue waters I heard this planet had." He wondered if that was too much of a vague description. Hopefully he knew what he was referring to since he was from this planet.
Briefly Mao let his gaze wander towards what he heard was called a gramba. He certainly didn't recall seeing anything of the likes on his planet. He had to think they were very likely native to Zerca. "I thank you for offering your assistance." He looked back to the Zercan as he spoke. He wasn't really use to speaking verbally so much as he was simply used to doing what his kind were known for being ale to do. His ability to actually mind read and instead ospeaking verbally he would speak within someones mind. However he did no such thing with the reactions he received so far.
Hearing the Zercan's name as well as the name of what he assumed was the Zercan's gramba he gave a slight nod. He noted the Zercan was about to say something but then he stopped and said to forget about it. He was curious to know what it could have been but he was just grateful for the generosity he had shown so far. He couldn't go asking for more.
"I'm Mao, from Parinenai." He thought it only right to offer his name with the fact that the Zercan he now knew as Rosiac was helping him.
He supposed he didn't need to mention where he was from but it should help explain why he needed someone to help him around. He briefly wondered if he needed to mention what he was but then thought it didn't matter. Besides some of his inherited features, from what he was, might have been noted already. Like his slightly webbed hands. It was just one of the plainly notable features anyone could see if they looked.
"Oh yes, that's what I wanted." Mao thought to answer the last question asked as he moved along to follow Rosiac. He hadn't missed what Rosiac said earlier about what sounded like him getting on the gramba or perhaps he was mistaken. But suddenly getting on an unfamiliar creature wasn't the first thing he had in mind to do.

Rosaic chuckled softly as he looked at the other male. He knelt down to eye level, "She's very nice and passive but I'm not much for ridding. I like to run and I'm afraid that you can't keep up." He walked back to the gramba, grabbing the reins, "We'll walk out of the city first though."
Rosaic started to walk through the flow of people, his gramba flicking her tail leaiserly. He looked back every now and then to make sure that the male was following easily. He sighed contently as they were out of the city. He stretched and looked back.
"If you don't mind me asking, what are you? Ya see I don't get off the planet since people need me for odd jobs all the time. So alas I am ignorant about other speices looks." He explained as he paused, unbuttoning his cloak.
He looked at the other male, feeling free and giddy. He heard about others being mated but he didn't know if it was cause this Mao was his mate or not. Mao....what a beautiful name for someone as beautiful as this male. Rosaic longed to pet the other male's hair...to smell the other male.
The beast roared from the inside of him to claim this male...okay that answered the mate question. He wanted to sigh, the beast inside was clawing at him. Wanting to be close to this male. It wasn't enough that he was helping the male. He wanted to touch him too.
He sighed as he slid the coat off his naked shoulders. He held it around his waist though, making sure the other male wasn't scared off. Rosaic wanted to get to running. His body longed for it as it did this male. He was in inner conflict now and it was killing him.

Mao was reminded of the height difference he had with the Zercan as he came to meet him at eye level. Hearing what he had to say he glanced towards the gramba he knew was called Sheila. He simply gave a slight nod towards the mention of walking out of the city first. He had no problem with that. He was use to walking and not riding a creature he wasn't familiar with. Though he supposed the words on the gramba eased his thoughts on what she was like. He suddenly imagined that there really would be no chance of him keeping up with the Zercan if he was to run. Looking up at him he had no doubt about it.
With these thoughts briefly in mind he followed behind the Zercan he knew as Rosiac. He merely took in what they passed until he found they had actually reached their destination with leaving he city. It was a relief that he really got someone to assist him. He definitely had to thank the Zercan once more for his help.
The question he heard suddenly was unexpected. Not to say he was expecting any kind of conversation with the Zercan. So far little had been said so he just didn't think to say anything himself. He however had no problem with answering this question. "I don't mind at all." He spoke with a slight shake of his head to emphasize his words. "I'm a Merman." It wasn't like he expected the Zercan to know what he was but then he supposed he actually had. It wasn't like his species looked that similar to others.
"I really want to thank you again for offering to help me." Mao had thought about doing so only moments ago so why not now. He only wanted to say what was on his mind. That was at least what he was thinking to do now. He didn't really intend to say every little thing that came to mind.
His thoughts currently came to settle on what he would soon come to see. The fact that the Zercan before him was really going to show him what he wanted to see. Perhaps he could show him around a bit more but he would only ask for so much. Not that he was the first to ask. It was Rosiac who offered and he gladly accepted. He could merely hope his company would last a bit longer if only for that reason.

"It's not a problem. I was headed out to race wild gramba anyway." He said as he pulled off his cloak and rolled it up, using the ribbon to tye it together. He then put it in the saddle bag.
He lifted the little male up onto the saddle then shifted into leopard form. He smirked. Since you can hear me like this. Hold on to Sheila. This is going to be one heck of a ride.
He took off and started racing off in the direction of the ocean. Sheila didn't go until she knew that the rider was settled and on. She then raced after her master. She wasn't nearly as fast though and other gramba came out to race him.
Rosaic raced on though, letting himself be free. He raced over the ground and sped up as the grambas came close to beating him. One gramba was beating him, racing a little faster.
Rosaic smirked as he raced under the other gramba, getting to the other side of it before speeding up. He jumped into the water though as they got there. He came back out as a man, laughing good naturedly. He pet the other wild gramba before he let them go. He then turned back to Sheila and pulled out a pair of cut off jeans.
He tied his hair in a low ponytail as he looked with his orange eyes at Mao, "What did you think? A weird habit, I know but I love it."
He lifted Mao off Sheila and let the gramba eat as he set Mao down. Rosaic made a sound as he sat down at the edge of the water, letting the waves crash over his feet. He looked at Mao, "have at it, mi lad. The deep blue waters."
Rosaic let the sun wash over him as he leaned back, just basking in the rays. He looked the part of an angel. Though if you knew him, he was not an any angel. He was just a gentle giant.

Mao managed a slight nod upon hearing what the Zercan said to him. At least he knew so far it wasn't as if Rosiac was going out his way for him. That he certainly didn't expect from anyone on the planet. He was stranger to all as everyone was a stranger to him. He was only grateful for whatever generosity came his way.
It came as a surprise to Mao when the tall Zercan so easily lifting him up and placed him on the creature he called a gramba. He found himself slightly apprehensive but he did recall the words earlier said about this gramba and then he heard Rosiac's thoughts and thought to do nothing more then hold on as he was told to before the gramba took ff with him.
It was really quite the site to see in Mao's opinion to see the Zercan was now in a leopard form. He moved so fast and then these other grambas seemed to come out and do what seemed like racing. He hadn't thought himself mistaken when he thought this was quite a site to see.He could never move that fast. Speed on land wasn't exactly something he had been interested. Not to say it did in general but now that he had time to consider it he admired the Zerca's speed.
It seemed Rosiac was the fastest one hear. Although for a moment he was thinking one of the Gramba's would get in front of him. At least that was what he could tell from what he saw. He really had nothing else to focus on ad he had come to gain interest on the scene as soon as he first witnessed it.
Before he knew it he could see the waters and he had seen Rosiac go into the water before he came out in the form he met him in. Seeing him out and hearing him laugh gave Mao the sign that the Zercan must really enjoy doing what he did.
Really, seeing him come over to where he was on the gramba still and hearing what he said cause him to think over what he would say. "Well, I must say that was really amazing." He had never seen anything like that before. "I don't know about weird hits, as I do not know much about Zercan's but I take it that not everyone does this." He supposed he could not see all Zercan's doing as Rosiac did but what did he know with his lack of knowledge on the species.
Once again Mao wasn't expecting to be lifted by the tall Zercan but soon enough he found his feet on the ground once more. Now he had a chance to go to the waters himself and Rosiac's words only encouraged him as he moved forward towards the waters edge.
"This is wonderful." It was all so wonderful. He spoke that with a genuine smile. The waters were really as he heard it. He really had reason to be grateful. He certainly would have mind taking a swim. Perhaps changing to do so, not in any other attire but his form, but he wasn't so sure about that. He now stood at the waters edge with his bare feet in the water as he set his shoes aside.
Considering who he had to be grateful to he set his gaze on Rosiac who he now took noticed had more of a look then a somewhat intimidating Zercan. He never took notice of it until now really, now that he was simply standing in one spot while the Zercan was seated, it was something he wasn't exactly sure how to word.

Rosaic smiled gently as he rested his feet in the water. He caught a small fish in his hand and watched it as he cupped water with it. He let it go after he had watched it for a bit. He undid his ribbon, tying it on the side of his shorts. He then jumped into the water, watching the fish swim around him.
"Are you afraid to get into the water?" He asked as he looked up, his wet hair sticking to him as he made a small smile. He made a sound as he looked at the male.
He wasn't makeing fun and he really wanted to see this male unclothed. He blushed at that thought, that was kinda unexpected. He laid back on the beach again, his gramba still eating grass as she was told to. He looked at the horizon.
He wouldn't lie, he was waiting for his other half and the completion only his mate would give. But now as he looked at the other male. He was saddened, the male knew nothing of zercan and it killed him. So there was no way to get this male to shake his hand, to show that he was Mao's chosen one.
No, they had just met. He looked up at the sky as he made a sound, he wanted to touch and feel the other male...to show intimincy in ways that he could to only a mate. He sighed as he started to draw in the wet sand. He wasn't anywhere near great but he sometimes got complaiments.
He drew a cheetah((sorry I put leopard earlier...my bad.)) and a merman. He made it so that you could not tell who the merman was. He drew the cheetah over the merman, the merman's fin curled around the cheetah who seemed to be growling at the looker. He smiled, writing, 'we all wish for completion.'
"What made you come here?" He asked as he moved away from the drawing, letting the waves wash at it. He would have to draw it later...oh well.

Mao's gaze briefly came to focus on the Zercan as he noted he jumped into the water. He had set his gaze back onto the water moments before hearing him get into the water. It made him want to get in himself. He supposed he didn't really just come to stare at it.
Dark lavender eyes came to rest on the water before hearing Rosiac speak. The question he asked registered in his mind and he gave his head a slight shake no now. "No, I love the water." He went on to say thinking it was one of the very reasons he had come here. Now he was more encouraged to get in.
Without thinking on it anymore then he had already he took off his shirt and then went about removing his pants. He wasn't exactly fond of the idea of undressing in front of the Zercan but he didn't want to get his clothes wet. He didn't really think anything more into it then that. He did indeed love the water and he didn't want to waste a chance like this.
With that out of the way he proceeded into the water without a moments hesitation. Getting into the water now he was quick to dive in so he was completely underwater for a moment. It was only upon resurfacing, after a mere few seconds, did he direct his gaze towards the Zercan who had come onto the beach.
"You see, I'm not afraid of the water." Mao spoke with a faint smile set on his features. Not thinking he was really trying to prove anything but more like he was taking this chance to get into the water.
He had caught what the Zercan asked referring to why he had come here. Mao briefly thought over the answer to the question asked and thought it a very simple one to answer.
"I can't say anything made me come here, it was just because I heard good things about this planet." It was as simple as that. Mao hadn't exactly had a terrible story to tell with his reason for coming here although he supposed he could have left on better terms.
He wondered if the Zercan was just curious to ask. He seemed by far the kindest he came across. He felt it would certainly be a little troubling going about without him whenever he was to leave. Naturally he didn't expect him to stay, he had no reason to in his mind.

Rosaic nodded, "Yes. Lots of people hear of us. Though we mostly keep to ourselves." He admired the other male as he made a small smile, "You look beautiful."
He admired the other male without looking away. He made a sigh as he looked to the side. He rested his head in his hands as he sighed, saddened by the thought of the male leaving. He made a sound as he looked at the other male, "So you came only for the water?"
It was more of a probing to see if the male knew of mating habits but as he thought about it he got more depressed, if the male came for the water then chances are he would leave soon. Even if on the off chance that Rosaic mated him and made Mao stay...he would want to live by the water and Rosaic didn't have enough money yet to get a home by the water. He supposed that he would have to get a new home soon.
Rosaic stood, "I will be setting off, I have to get to work. I shall leave Sheila for you. She knows the way back. She will take you to my home. You may stay there if you wish. It is up to you."
He looked back a bit, before he took off his shorts and put them into a bag. He then shapeshifted and grabbed the bag. Shifting it so it was on his back. I shall leave you them. Have fun.
Then like a coward, Rosaic ran from his dispear. He flew over the land as he went home. He would need to clean anyway. He shapeshifted back only when he was in his house. He then dressed and started to clean out his rooms and things.

Mao took note of what Rosiac said. He certainly wasn't expecting any kind of compliment on the way he looked. That meant the Zercan had been looking. That very thought cause has face to flush a bit.
Now that he was in the water he found himself relaxing a bit. Even while staying afloat in the water he heard what Rosiac said or rather what he asked. "Well, it was just part of my reason for coming here." It was that and the fact he was curious to see what this planet was like. There was that and he wanted to see the people. He supposed that was the only reason he had originally had in mind.
Mao assumed the question Rosiac asked was merely due to curiosity. He really hadn't been given a verbal reason to think otherwise. Really, with his original intent here why would he think differently? He was briefly considering the overall situation and was really quite grateful that he was able to be with someone who guided him this far. Briefly he took another dive under the water before resurfacing once more. He couldn't deny he loved the water.
It surprised Mao to hear what Rosiac said referring to leaving. He found himself frowning as he looked towards the land where the Zercan was at. If he hadn't given a reason why he would have asked. He couldn't ask the Zercan to stay after how much he helped him so far. He wasn't expecting the offer to go to his home but he was quite happy to hear it. "Alright." There was little more he could say then that.
Dark lavender eyes remained focused on the Zercan as he changed and took off. He was really a bit sad to see the male go off like this but he did have it in mind he would see him again. He rather that be sooner then later even though he wouldn't have minded staying in the water for a bit longer.
Before seeing the Zercan go off he did catch what he said to him in his mind. It left him giving a faint sigh before he focused his gaze on the water when he could no longer be seen. He did consider staying here for a bit longer but he swam closer to shore thinking to get out. He did wonder what the Zercan's home looked like.
He had a love for the water where he would have liked to stay in a bit longer so he didn't get out of the water just yet. He took a moment to shift into his other form for a moment. Merely changing his bottom half really showing what he was. After then he would really go onto Sheila and see where the Zercan lived. He would do this regardless of how much he would enjoy the water with the time it would take to get there.

Rosaic soon finished cleaning, wearing his bandana still and sat down at his desk. He sighed as he put on his glasses, starting to write on his book. He wrote a few pages before he started to look out the window, while making crafts.
He felt pathetic really, waiting on a male to come so he could feel happy again. He made a sound as he sighed, well at least he hadn't shaken the male's hand so he would be suffering too. He sighed as he started to work with his hands on another craft. So much for this.
He then reached inside himself, feeling the dull ache that a Zercan got when their mate was not close. He sighed, nothing but touching the male would satify the ache...and they weren't that far yet. In fact Rosaic doubted the man knew that he was a mated man.
"Well not like there's anything I can do about it. Might as well deal with it." He muttered as he continued to work on the craft, curled into a cat-like ball.
He then started to pace, ending up shifting and pacing around the house. He felt like an idiot. But that could not be helped. He sighed as he looked out...he promised to be here but all he wanted to do was race. He made a sound. He wasn't used to being mated. He was not used to being stuck to wait.
So here he paced, wondering around like no tomorrow, with the bandana still on. He made a sound as he walked, growling to himself on how much of a fool he was...and how fate was being cruel. Well damn. He had no luck.
He laid down on the floor in a heave on the rug. Okay he hated being stuck in here. So he just finally went to sleep on the rug.

Mao found he couldn't stay as long as he originally planned. Not that he didn't want to and nothing was making him go. He just felt a bit bad about simply swimming around and enjoying the water. Or so he told himself with what he felt. He was curious to know what that Zercan was up to not so he thought to go see him. If anything he could always go back to the water now that he kind of knew his way to get here. It was with that thought in mind he changed back. He was quick to get out of the water and went to put his clothes on. He imagined he could always come back here later.
That's what he told himself as he went over to Sheila. He was almost a bit apprehensive around the gramba but seeing home things went last time he move to sit himself upon her back. I hope you really can take me to him. He made sure he was firmly seated on the gramba before he expected her to take off.
He had no clue how to make the creature go or do whatever else it could do really. However it didn't seem like he had to do anything. If he recalled correctly Rosiac did say Sheila knew how to get to his home. It seemed as soon as he was settled for sure she took off.
Regardless of what Rosiac said he still couldn't find himself getting use to such a creature. Well, not automatically though he supposed he really did have nothing to fear here. Ar least not from this one. He really had no knowledge on what the wild ones were like. He at least assumed they were wild with how they seemed to live out here if he wasn't mistaken with what he was assuming. It really wasn't something to think on so he brushed those thoughts aside.
Now Mao had a chance to think over the Zercan a bit. He had been so preoccupied earlier he hadn't thought that much on the Zercan. But couldn't say he hadn't thought on him at all. The tall fellow who offered him assistance seemed very kind in his opinion. He didn't see himself getting where he was now if it had not been for him. He would have surely gotten lost once he had gotten out of the city and he wasn't entirely sure what resided beyond it's borders. Almost had him curious enough to look but he was the cautious type, at least sometimes, he didn't think he should go taking any chances. He made a mental note to ask the tall Zercan what lived on this planet or he could always look for a guide of some sort. That way he wouldn't have to bother with asking something that might annoy the Zercan.
It was with these thoughts he rode the rest of the way until the gramba he rode stopped. He had to assume the place she stopped at was Rosiac's home. He was actually quite happy to see he had arrived at the Zercan's home even if he didn't have a reason to be other then the fact he had made it. Now he supposed it was just common sense to knock on the door.
Removing himself from the gramba he stood and briefly looked down at himself. He mentally gave his thanks before setting his attention towards the home he assumed belong to the Zercan he met earlier. He for the first time took a mental note of his appearance. Not so much his attire that was nothing much but the fact he was a little wet. His midnight black hair was still down in a ponytail but now, to let it dry as it was wet, he removed the piece of cloth he tied it with and let it completely fall against his back. He was glad right now he had brought several pairs of clothing in the unmentioned pack he carried around. It wouldn't be such a smart idea to just travel around with the clothes on his back. He had things on him to. He was glad he hadn't forgotten the pack he had anywhere like on the beach. Currently he had that over his shoulder and he remembered to grab his shoes to which weren't all that pleasant to wear with the fact he had yet to dry off before he put everything back on. Perhaps he should stay outside until he died of.
Well, he would probably do that but first he wanted to let Rosiac know he was outside. He moved up to the door and went straight ahead and knocked. He did that a few times before simply waiting to see whether anyone would answer.
