Adish blushed lightly and grinned. "I wouldn't mind you carrying my babies," he said with a wink. He cuddled against the boy, letting his hands rest on his mate's stomach. "I may have been adopted, but I know I saw my mother pregnant with Eade. There's a difference between obese and pregnant; even little kids can see that."

Kinome’s eyes widened, uncertainty and fear coursing through him. Adish was really not entirely sane… that was becoming more than apparent. Heat gathered into the area Adish was resting his hand on… some instinct in Kinome responding to the truth in Adish’s words. Kinome’s mind however, was unwilling and unable to accept what his body was telling him, his body’s obvious reaction to Adish’s touch and words scaring him even further. Kinome reached out and brushed Adish’s hands off of him, wanting to somehow rid his body of the heat and thinking it was only due to Adish’s touch. The heat however did not subside and Kinome paled… “That’s not… poss.. poss… possible.”

Adish nodded energetically. "It is! I'm telling you! What do I have to do for you to believe me? Impregnate you? Take you home with me? What?" he asked. He knew that Kinome had felt something; he had, too. He needed the Human to understand. He needed the boy to except him.

Kinome shook his head at the illogical turn this conversation had taken. "You cannot impregnate me." He stated bluntly. "I'm a boy. Even if you are some kind of... alien... where males of your race can have babies..." He continued, not really believing that but it appeared to him that Adish did believe that and who was he to argue with someone that convinced and that insane? He had learnt the hard way... there was no arguing with insanity. "I'm human... and I cannot have babies. My body is not built that way. I do Biology... if you want I can bring you my notes.”

Adish shook his head. "But... You see.... I'm not human," he mumbled gingery, "So, yes... It is possible." He reached out and lightly touched Kinome's cheek. "You still haven't eaten yet. I'm sure it's all luke-warm by now... Do you want me to reheat it?"

Kinome narrowed his eyes suspiciously, swallowing nervously. "As I said... maybe YOU could get pregnant but 'I' certainly cannot. " Kinome shifted in his chair... not too sure if he was happy with Adish claiming to be an alien. He wanted to be screaming, freaking out or even maybe getting his head examined... if it weren't for the fact that something was confirming the truth of this statement... Something in him that he chose not to examine too closely. He dropped his gaze wanting to change the topic. "I'm not hungry." He muttered, moving to get off the chair and leave when he suddenly realized he hadn't brought the crutches along.

Adish made a 'hmph' sound and gently pushed Kinome back to sit in his chair. "I don't care whether you're hungry or not; you're going to eat!" he exclaimed. He took a bite of his own food to test the temperature before taking up Kinome's plate and sticking it in the microwave.

Kinome glared at Adish rebelliously, pouting as Adish re-heated the food. Deciding that he wasn't up to remaining here any longer, Kinome got up and hopped out the room, making a rather obvious ruckus when he stumbled and had to catch a kitchen cupboard along the way. When Adish came to assist him and maybe take him back to the table Kinome kicked him in the shins with the cast, paling and hissing at the pain. Okay... so maybe that had not been one of his brightest moments, Kinome thought... leaning heavily on the kitchen table and taking long deep breaths in an attempt to rid himself of the wave of pain he had foolishly bought on himself.

Adish stared wide-eyed at Kinome. He couldn't believe that the boy had actually kicked him! It seemed to have hurt Kinome more than it had hurt Adish... but still. What happened to Kinome's "violence isn't the answer" crap? The dragonis pouted and huffed.
"Ow! What'd you do that for? Besides, now you're in even more pain!" He sighed before approaching the Human. "You're only making this harder on yourself. Let me help you," he insisted, just as the microwave beeped.

"I’m not hungry." Kinome insisted, the pout clearly audible in his voice. He knew he was being childish but at that point in time he didn't really care all that much. He was sore, tired and very confused. Most of all he was tired of being screwed over by life itself and continually having things get worse.
Just when it turned out that someone had bothered to give a damn about him, that person had turned out as insane as his father. Even though he had long ago convinced himself that happiness was never to belong to him... it still hurt. No matter how much he tried to convince himself to get used to his lot in life, his heart would keep betraying him and reaching out towards hope.
He chocked back a sob. A sob of both physical and emotional pain. This wasn’t fair. Why was this always happening to him? Was his crime really that bad? Was the fact that he had let his mother die worthy of such continual punishment? Who was he kidding... nothing he could even do would be payment enough. When Adish turned his back towards the microwave, Kinome took the opportunity to continue on his way out hopping on his way to his bedroom, hand trailing along the wall before slamming the door shut and collapsing onto his bed to cry in grief. Grief buried deep within him as he never let himself truly mourn.
He found himself being far more emotional of late, allowing himself to break. It wasn’t fair. Why did Adish have to come into his life and tear open all that Kinome had tried to hide for so very long? Kinome didn’t know what to do with all the sudden overwhelming emotion and as much as he hated himself for showing such a weakness he had no more control over himself. Not anymore. He realised he never had any. It had all been an illusion. An illusion he found he could no longer bear now that he had glimpsed the happiness he knew was not to be his and so he cried, ignoring all and everything around him and no longer caring of what his father would do should he come home to find things out of place. Kinome doubted he had the strength to live the lie any longer and knew that he definitely no longer wished to.

Adish quickly pulled the dish from the microwave, turning to see that Kinome had started to hobble away. The dragonis frowned and set the plate down on the table before going after the Human, only to have the door slammed in his face. He pouted and knocked. When he got no reply, he opened the door himself and found Kinome crying on his bed.
Adish ached to see his mate in such a state, but he couldn't think of anything that he could do to help; everything he said about the boy was spat back in his face. He carefully sat down on the bed next to Kinome and gently started to rub the boy's back.
"I'm sorry," he mumbled softly. He wasn't quite sure what he had done, but he knew it was his fault. Everything bad lately had been his fault. He sighed softly and laid down next to his mate, curling up beside him but not quite touching, in case Kinome didn't want him that close, and rested a hand on the boy's back.

Kinome continued to sob, unconsciously drawing closer to the hand running his back and the warmth and comfort it represented. Kinome finally managed to calm himself somewhat only to turn bright red upon realising that he was now practically plastered against Adish. Hastily he shuffled away, bringing space between them once more.
He sniffed miserably, gaze down, hand absently picking at the sheets of his bed. “It’s not your fault.” Kinome whispered on a sniff. “You cannot help it. Just like my father cannot help it. And I guess it is my price. “Kinome cut himself off, wiping his forearm over his tear streaked face. “It’s my fault. For never quite giving up hope… for never quite accepting my fate… so… so… even though it shouldn’t…” Kinome chocked back another sob. “It still sometimes hurts.”
Kinome bit his lip to stop himself from sobbing once more. He had no right to feel self-pity, no right to feel sorry for himself. “It’s my own weakness.” He whispered, still chewing his lip in a desperate attempt to regain control.

Adish smiled softly when Kinome moved into his arms and happily held the boy until he stopped crying. His smiled slipped, though, when Kinome pulled away from him. He listened silently as the Human spoke and looked sadly at him. "What is? What are you talking about?" he asked softly, not wanting to make the boy cry; however, he couldn't help him if he didn't know what was wrong.

Kinome shook his head. "It doesn't matter." He stated softly curling in on himself.

Adish sighed loudly. "I does matter! I want to help you, to make you happy! But I can't if you don't tell me what's wrong? I can't be of any use to you if I don't understand," he pressed.
