Adish smiled sadly at Kinome. "We don't have the same laws you do here. I can work as much as I want or need. Besides, our medical system is much more advanced than this place. It won't be any trouble for me to get a good job to support us and your father," he stated, lightly brushing a strand of hair away from his mate's face. "You don't have to worry about a thing."

"It's not fair of you to have to." Kinome insisted. "You shouldn't have to worry about me." Kinome sniffed miserably. "I can't even dance for a living until I pass my final examination and I can't pass if I don't practice and I can't practice if my ankle is bust." Kinome rambled.

[Adish]

Adish listened quietly. It seemed like no matter what he said, Kinome always found some way to put himself down. He blinked after a moment and frowned. "Wait... You're ankle? What happened to your ankle?" he asked worriedly.

( @_@ ... is worriedly a word? I guess it is... but it just sounds so wierd! >< )

Kinome chewed his lip, suddenly realising what he had let slip. groaning he wordlessly buried his face in his hands. After a long moment of silence he ventured timidly, sounding depressed. "I don't suppose you will believe me if I tell you nothing, right?"

[Adish]

Adish nodded sternly. "Which one? Let me see it," he demanded. "Why were you trying to hide this from me? What were you trying to prove?" he asked. He hated that Kinome felt the need to hide things from him. How could he trust the Human if he never told him the truth?

"I didn't want you to worry." Kinome whispered, head hanging. "It's not a big deal." Kinome shifted his right leg behind his left, attemting to hide the cast lest it be peering out from beneath his long flaring pants.

[Adish]

Adish sighed. "When you don't tell me things... that's when I worry. I want to know about these things so I don't make them worse, so that I can help you in any way I can, you know?" he asked softly, running a hand through Kinome's hair softly. "Can you trust me with that? If you tell me these things, then I'll tell you things too, okay?"

"And what if you cant posibly make it worse, you can't help and it will only be a burden to you?" Kinome enquied softly... not refering to his ankle any longer.

[Adish]

Adish tilted his head to the side and looked softly at Kinome. "Well then, I'd do my best to support you and I'd give you all the love you need to get through the day. There is no way in this universe that you could ever be a burden on me," he stated with finality.

"Even if you had to continually buy me medication? And pay hospital bill's?" Kinome enquired softly.

[Adish]

Adish smiled and nodded. "Even then and even if it were a thousand times worse. Nothing could make me not love you, Kinome," he stated, nuzzling the boy's cheek. "Understand?"

"Why?" kinome whispered.

[Adish]

Adish smiled. "Because we're mates. We are each one-half of the same soul. We were made for each other. From the day we were each born, our minds, souls, and bodies have been searching for eachother. Now I have you, and there's no way I'm letting you get away," he stated, hugging Kinome tightly.

"And if I told you I were diabetic?" Kinome whispered in a tone so soft that anyone would have to strain to hear it. he pointedly kept his gaze on the ground, avoiding eye contact with Adish.

Adish blinked. "...What? What's that?" he asked softly. He had never heard of someone being diabetic. People on Parinenai didn't have diseases like people on Earth. He was sure that, whatever it was, a quick trip to the medi-box could fix it... right....? He didn't want his mate to ever be in pain.
