Adish shrugged. "I know. But that's what she was hinting at- she had this look like... like she was gonna eat me or something," he said with a grossed-out look, completely ingoring what Kinome had said before so he didn't have to go through the "No, my mother was a man I was baby inside his tummy. Never did my father have relations with a female" which would only lead to "You're crazy, Adish! That's not possible!" and then Kinome would be wary of him again, and he didn't like.

Kinome chuckled lightly. "You're blowing things out of proportion Adish-san. I'm sure she would do nothing of the sort. She's very nice. I used to be good friends with her before..." Kinome suddenly cut the conversation thread short. "Anyway, that aside, she really is sweet and could have shown you a far more interesting time than I could ever hope to, especially as I'm going to work now. Maybe tomorrow you should go hang out with her and her friends." Kinome encouraged, feeling guilty at being unable to entertain Adish whom it seemed, would only be here for a limited amount of time. He really should be able to see more than where Kinome worked, lived and went to school.

Adish frowned. Was Kinome trying to get rid of him? He felt a bit pathetic because hearing Kinome say that to him... actually kind of hurt. "Did I do something wrong?... Oh, who am I kidding," Adish mumbled quietly, "I do everything wrong, why not this?" He looked at Kinome and a sad look. "I guess if you want me to I will. I... I just want to make you happy, so if you want me to... be friends with... with her... Then I will.... I guess," he admitted dejectedly.

"You didn't do anything wrong." Kinome explained softly, feeling very guilty. He couldn;t understand why though. He has only been trying to help. "I'm just no fun. I know that. Everyone says that and I dont want you to spend the little time you have here following me to school, home and work and watching me do nothing but work. It must be terribly boring." Kinome, nervously played with his own hair feeling horrible for having managed to somehow hurt Adish when he'd wanted nothing but for Adish to maybe have some fun.

Adish bit his lip. He wasn't really sure if Kinome was his mate. Sure, he loved being around him, but he loved being around Eade too, and Eade was his brother, not his mate. He knew he had feelings for Kinome, but he didn't know what actually having a mate felt like- he had nothing to compare what he felt for Human to.
"I...," Adish started softly as they walked, "I like to be around you... to follow you around because... because... um....." He nervously bit his lip and scratched his head. "Eh... because I... thinkyoumightpossiblybemymatebutI'mnotsure," he mumbled quickly, "I like to follow you around to keep you company and stuff. I like you better than some girl I just met today..." he stated lamely. Adish pouted and turned his head away; he was blushing and he wasn't about to let Kinome see that.

Kinome chewed on his lip having only picked up the last of Adish’s words. He gave a small smile. “I’m glad you like to keep me company but it must be incredibly boring.” Kinome turned into the supermarket he worked at during the week, pulling off his school blazer and reaching for an apron and putting it on over his head. “I really can’t see how there is anything to like about me or about spending time with me and watching me work. I mean… for as long as I have known you I have been working, passing out and screaming my head off… “ Kinome turned blood red in embarrassment. He’d actually spent a considerable amount of the time he had known Adish, in Adish’s arms he realized.

Adish smiled. "But I think you're so much better than all those other people. I mean, you weren't the least bit afraid yell at me and fight against me and stuff... Granted, I was trying to help you, but..." he trailed off with a playful grin. "I just like you. There's not really anything else to it; I mean, it's not like I can control who I'm attracted to, you know." The dragonis bit his lip and averted his eyes. Maybe I shouldn't have said that last part...

Kinome's eyes went wide, his jaw dropping at Adish's confession. "Attracted?" he repeated, voice sounding extreamly small. He wanted to deny the fact that he was gay, but something stopped him. He found, that is he really thought about it, the idea of Adish being attracted to him gave him a thrill. He turned blood red at the realization. "but, you'll be leaving soon." Kinome protested, dropping his gaze to the ground and hiding the tears that were suddenly present in the corner of his eyes.

Adish shrugged lightly. "So? Come with me. I'm sure you're dad can come with us. You can go to school there. Besides, you'll get to meet Eade," he said, trying to be persuasive. He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Kinome, pulling him into a tight hug. "Please?"

Kinome tensed. "And if you get bored? It doesn't work out? Then what?" Kinome demanded. "Not that I'm gay or anything..." he hastily added.

Adish shrugged. "I haven't been bored so far. And things'll definetly work out. I can tell," he said, sure of himself. "And if you aren't gay... You gonna have an awful hard time getting adjusted," he explained, laughing nervously.

Kinome stared at Adish. "What kind of community do you live in? The community for the gay? Do they all adopt kids? What kind of environment is that? Never mind..." he hastily changed his mind. "Forget I asked. I don't want to know." Kinome headed straight for the storing room and grabbed a broom walking to the other side of the store to begin work.

Adish followed happily after Kinome. He was excited because the Human had practically agreed to come. "Yes. You're almost right, but nevermind that. I probably won't be leaving until the end of the month anyway. Momma should be settled down by then, I think," he mused to himself.

"Alright." Kinome agreed absently, pain coursing through him. Looked like he was going to be abandoned by the end of the month. He didn;t intend to go... he had too many responsibilities here. Kinome swung the brrom as he worked, chewing on his lip in thought. Suddenly he broke the silence by asking. "What did you do?"

Adish shrugged lightly. "Eade was gettin' pushed around and I intervened. Momma never liked me to begin with, so when I say that I was protecting him and that the bruises weren't from me- he doesn't believe me. And, he thinks that Eade agrees with me just 'cause he's scared of me. But I wouldn't do something like that to him, not to Eade," he said earnestly, "Honest! I love my brother." He sighed softly and fingered his scar again. He remembered when he got that quite clearly, but sometimes he wished he couldn't.
