Lost (Kai/Alex)

[Kai Hikari]

Kai just kept walking towards his parents house hoping that the younger boy wouldn't ask the question about the loverbirds thing again. It took quite a while but they had finally made it to Kai's parent's house.

Kai walked up towards the door with Alex still behind him. He opened the door where he was greeted by his younger brothers. He smiled at them and motioning them to move out of his way and they did. He mother walked out of the kitchen which he was doing some cleaning. "Mother this is Alex," He introduced Alex to his mother hoped that his mother wouldn't think that the boy was his mate...but knowing his mother he would take it that way.

Alex was knocked out of his thoughts when they reached the door, greeted by Kai's brothers. Aw, they're adorable...but Kai's better looking...where did that come from? Evil thoughts go away! Go away! By the time he fought the blush down, they were in the kitchen.

"Hello!" Alex waved, pushing his earlier thoughts to the back of his mind.

"Please make yourselves at home," Kai's mother said has he walked off back towards the kitchen again. "Alex I need to talk to you alone," Kai motioned to the stairs hoping that the boy wouldn't get the wrong idea from it. "I want to talk to you about the whole "loverbirds" thing from earlier." He just wanted to talk to Alex alone with out anyone being around more or less he really did hope that the other didn't get the wrong idea about going up stairs.

"Ok," Alex replied and followed Kai upstairs. He didn't see why they needed to go somewhere else for him to explain it but it didn't matter. At least he wouldn't be confused for the whole day.

If Alex was a telepath, he'd be wondering what Kai meant when he thought Alex would get the wrong idea from going upstairs. Luckly, he's not, and saved Kai a lot of trouble. Alex really is dense isn't he?

Kai was glad that Alex didn't get the wrong idea from it. He was quite glad they were going to be alone for while...it would give Kai the time to explain the whole thing to the younger boy. When they go up stairs he opened a door that lead to his old room that was always nice and neat just for him when he came to visit.

He sat down on the bed and started to explain why people were smirking at him and Alex and calling them loverbirds. "Okay the reason people were smirking at us earlier and calling us loverbirds was because they think you're my mate even though I was only trying to help you. Of course my mother thinks the same thing as everyone else does. See my parents are going to be really nice to you because they're going to be thinking you're my mate. Which I'm not sure how old you are but I'm going to tell you how old I am. I'm 20 years old and my parents think I should at least be married or engaged someone by now and they think you're my fience if worse you're married to me." Of course Kai knew he went on too long about something like that to the boy he just sat on his bed waiting for the other's reply about the whole thing.

Alex sat on Kai's bed, jumping around a bit. He decided it was comfy, really comfy. He settled down when Kai began to talk, hanging on each word he said. At the end of the explanation, he just sat there and stared. Well, it made sense. And that would explain why he felt funny around Kai, if they really were mates. But his parents thinking they were married or at least engaged, wasn’t good, though he wouldn’t mind… Stop it! He mentally yelled at himself.

“Thanks for explaining. That would’ve bugged me for days! And about your parents, well, you could just tell them the truth. I’m sure they’ll understand,” Alex suggested.

Kai stared of in space just thinking about Alex. Although he was younger then him, he just wanted to be around him. He layed backwards on his bed so he was facing the cieling and put his hands behind his head. "No problem," He relpied a couple minutes later after the other had said something. "Of course I'll tell my parents the truth if I didn't then the would be even more angery at me and I can't have that." He still looked at the cieling just trying to restrain himself from looking at the boy beside him.

Silence followed and Alex found it hard to look at anything else except Kai. He tore his gaze away from the silver-haired man and looked at his hands, playing the ‘one, two, three, four, I declare a thumb war’ thing with himself. At least, that’s how he thought it went.

“You know what’d be funny,” Alex started, still staring at his hands. “If we told you parents that we weren’t together and then we found out we were mates. We would’ve gone through all this for nothing.” He chuckled at the thought.

Kai still stared at the cieling still trying to keep his gaze off the boy beside him. "I guess that would be kind of funny. Maybe would should just wait before tell my parents anything." He sat up on his bed and looked at towards the boy beside him. He couldn't resist himself and bent over towards Alex and bit his ear playfully.

Alex opened his mouth to ask why he would want to wait telling his parents but then Kai turned and…bite his ear. He was into much of a shock to move but he could definitely feel his cheeks turning bright red.

When he was little, he had walked in on his stepparents doing the same, well, they were both half-naked and on top of each other, so almost the same. An awkward silence followed, to his stepparents at least. He asked why father was biting his ear. They said he would understand when he grew up.

Well, he sort of understands now. It felt nice, a tingly sensation ran through his body. A smile grew on his face.

Kai felt a bit releaved that the boy didn't push him away from him. Of course he was only teasing the boy a bit...he sure wasn't going to get himself in trouble if something happened to the boy. He was eager to fill a little bit more of the boy. He stopped nibbling on the boy's ear down to kissing his neck. Honestly he knew that this might get him in even more trouble the just bitting his ear playfully. He move one of his hands slightly up Alex's shirt while kissing his neck.

When Kai stopped nibbling on his ear, Alex almost gave a whine of protest but soft lips on his sensitive neck stopped him. Instinctively, he tilted his head a bit to give the other better accesses. The boy could feel the tips of Kai’s finger rising up his shirt. He suppressed a moan from his throat as he arched his back to Kai’s touch. His breath was starting to get heavy. Yeah, this was a fine substitute for just nibbling on his ear.

Kai felt the boy move his head to allow him better accesses to his neck. He was surprised that the other wasn't pushing him away or at least trying to get way from him. He enjoyed what he was doing to Alex and he could tell not by looking at Alex but by his actions that he enjoyed it as well. He began to move his hand futher up the boy's shirt.

Logic was telling him to push Kai away but really, who listened to logic these days? Besides, his skin was sensitive and Kai wasn’t help, making no room for thought. “Kai,” he whimpered.

“Kai? Who’s Kai?” a voice called out. A few seconds later, he realized it was his AI, Seri. Alex pushed Kai off him and cleared his throat. “Uh…no one, I-I mean, he’s my friend. Yeah, um…friend,” he stuttered.

Seri peered through light blue eyes at Alex’s messy hair, shirt up half way, dilated pupils, and the fact that his ‘friend’ and him were in a bed, alone. Like hell they’re just friends. “Riiiight. Anyways, you parents are worried sick about you. Why didn’t you go home and then make out with your little friend here.”

Alex looked at Seri who just appeared from his watch. Then it hit him, he could have just asked him for directions the whole time. “I got lost and I forgot you were attached to my wrist. Uh, could you tell everyone that I’m okay? Thanks.” Seri disappeared.

Alex turned towards Kai. “Uh, sorry. I…uh…guess I should go now,” he said but made no attempt to actually do so.

(Sorry that took so long. We just found out we got a hole in our roof and it's raining so... not good)

Kai seemed to be lost when he was kissing the other's neck but stopped suddenly when the other whimpered his name. He was going to ask the boy how far he actually intented to go with him...but interupted by the sound of another's voice coming from something around Alex's wrist.

When Alex pushed him away to talk to the person that appeared from his watch Kai sat there listening to what they were saying. It made him feel a little bad that he hadn't help the boy look for his ship...but made him feel worse when he heard that Alex's parents were worried sick about him. When the other disappeared Kai looked at the boy.

When he heard that the boy said he was going to leave it made his heart fall. Kai didn't what the other to leave it seemed after a short time of knowing the boy he most likely fallen in love with him. Kai bent towards the boy and whispered in his ear, "I really don't want you go. I want you to stay here with me."

(Don't worry about it I'm sure we all have problems somewhere. That's got to suck...I know I would hate to have hole in my roof.)
