Lost (Kai/Alex)

[Kai Hikari]

At the last remark about using condoms this made Kai feel like he was going to be the bad guy in this story. When his mate buried his head in his chest trying to hide his blush. Kai put his arms around the boy to hug him. "Hey, Alex do you want to go up stair into my room...I mean I'm not saying that we're going to do anything I'm only saying to be alone?" Kai asked blushing hoping that the remark wouldn't come back to his mate's mind. He waited for the boy to reply to what he had asked.

(Yeah that happened to me once then I found out it was the website.)

When Alex was finally able to control his blush, he heard Kai ask if he wanted to go to his room. The boy wasn’t sure what he meant when he said ‘doing something’ but agreed nonetheless. He looked up at Kai and tilted his head in confusion. “What do you mean by ‘doing something’.”

"Oh you know...something that deals with a bed room. Just a little fun but forget the clothes." Kai hoped that would have helped his mate understand what he was getting at but that's not what he wanted to do. He lead forward and kissed his mate lightly on the lips hoping it wasn't too much for him. He stood up and started to walk towards the stairs.

Alex put on his idiot smile again at the kiss. He couldn’t help it; he was a fool in love. He managed to get his mind back on Jeskara and thought about what Kai had said as they walked upstairs. He bunched his eyebrow together in concentration, and then, it hit him. “Oh…” he whispered, already half way to Kai’s room. He could feel his cheeks getting hotter by the second.

Even though they about half way to his room Kai could feel his heart beat getting faster. It wasn't like he was expecting to do anything with the other but for some reason his heart just started to beat faster. Kai hoped his bedroom door and went over to his bed then sat down. Sitting on the bed Kai could remember when he first brought Alex into his room. Just remembering that Kai remember that he had kissed the boy's neck and wanted to feel more of his body...but that was taking it too far. To hide his really heavy blush Kai layed on the bed so that his face was in his pillow.

Once they reached Kai’s room, Alex saw Kai sit on the bed and wait for a minute. The next he saw was a blur of red and Kai was laying down, his head buried in the pillow. The boy wondered what the red blur was. Could it be that Kai’s skin spontaneously combusted and the red is blood?! Oh no!

Alex kneeled by Kai’s side and poked him in the head. “Uh, Kai? You okay?” he asked in a small voice.

“You didn’t spontaneously combust did you?” he said, on the verge of tears. Not when he just found his mate! This can’t happen!

"Uh," Kai was completely out of it but when he heard his mate's voice he turned slightly. Then he heard something about spontaneously combusting from the other. Of course Kai knew he didn't do that. "No I didn't. I'm fine don't worry about it." The vampyre replied lightly still looking at Alex, who was beside him.

When Alex saw Kai lift up his head and say he’s alright, he gave the vampire a teary smile. The boy attached him with a hug, buried his head in the other’s chest and sniffled. “I’m sorry I overreacted,” he muttered.

“It’s just…I-I saw red and…I thought it was blood and I’ve heard of spontaneous combustion and…and…sorry,” he said gradually talking faster and then slowing it down to a whisper.

(Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. My cousin just came back from China and we had a little welcome back dinner thingy.)

"It's all right, my love," Kai said ruffling the boy's hair. Kai looked at him and smiled lightly of course he could help but overreacting over his major blush. "Really my love it's alright. At least you cared...but really I'm all right and there's nothing to worry about." He said lightly to the boy and grabbed him then pulled him closer.

(It's all right. I'm sure you were glad to see your cousin.)

“Okay,” Alex muttered against Kai’s chest. He blushed at the pet name his mate used. Well, since he gave me a pet name, maybe I should give him one too. Like, um…how about… Before he could finish the thought, Alex fell into a deep sleep. All the running and excitement of getting a mate had really worn him out.

(sorry that I suddenly dissapeared. My internet kicked me off. Grr)

Kai smiled at the boy when he heard him say okay. He look down at his mate when he heard him breathing softly he noticed that he had fallen asleep. Kai was a bit afraid to move but he did anyway just to pick the boy up and set him on the bed to sleep. Kai got up lightly trying not to wake the boy and when over to a closet and got out a blanket. He unfolded the the blacket and put it over his mate then his kissed him lightly of the forehead. 'Maybe I should go finish eating my dinner?' Kai pondered looking at the boy on his bed he smiled lightly looking at him sleep.

(It's okay my computer does that to me too. I really hate when the happens)

While still sleeping, Alex smiled at the kiss on his forehead. Even in his dream, he knew what he liked.

Alex woke up the next day and smiled, his face facing a wall. That was a nice dream… he thought. The boy felt a warm presence behind him, so he turned around and wrapped his arms around it. It felt nice, calming, and just extremely comforting. He didn’t remember buying a pillow this nice. Peeking his eyes open, he saw a lock of silver hair. He shot his eyes opens; his face showed surprise and confusion but soon melted into a warm smile. So it wasn’t a dream after all.

(Damn I hate this computer. I think I might have a virus...again! I have the worst luck with computers.)

After eating his dinner Kai walked back up stairs and opened his bedroom door. Of course he tried to be quiet so he didn't wake his mate up. He undressed himself so that he was only in his boxer and crowled into the bed next to his mate. He smiled lightly and whispered, "I love you, Alex," They were the last words he said before wrapping his arms around the boy and falling asleep.

As Kai slept he could feel something wrap around him. Of course he was a light sleeper and could have been easily woken up. He laid there half awake looking at the boy beside him. A smile grew on Kai's face when he saw his mate smile. "Good morning." He whispered lightly trying not to scare the boy. He wasn't sure if his mate knew he was a wake from the begining but he didn't care.

(Damnit if I had a virus I would pissed. I think a lot of people have bad luck with computers at least once in their life time.)

Alex looked at his mate confusedly. He could of sworn…Oh well he shrugged. “Good morning,” he said cheerfully. He rested his head underneath Kai’s chin, twirling a strand of his smooth silver hair. He closed his eyes and sighed. “So,” he yawned. “Breakfast?”

(Weird, I could of sworn I didn't post the last one...and yeah, viruses are a pain. My computer's been to the computer hosptial a lot)

"Of course we can have breakfest. Though I'm not sure what you would want to eat." Kai said with a light yawn. "Though before I eat to wake me up I like to get a shower. Care to join me, my love?" He questioned his mate as he sat up on the bed and looked at Alex.
