Lakin smirked. "Don't get used to it!" he joked, knowing he had every intention to hold his mate as much as possible, since he seemed to like it. Or maybe he just liked not having to walk, either way the Wizard didn't mind. He laughed and tilted his to nuzzle Manni's head. "Do you think they'll let us order something even though we're late?" he asked curiously. He hoped they would, but he didn't know since he hadn't been on ships that often. Especially as a kind-of-part-of-the-crew person.

Manni's stomach grumbled. "They better! And even if not, I could still use Ongi and weasle in our order somewhere. Preferably near the top! Man I hungry," he whined. The humanoid jumped down once they arrived at their destination and walked over to sit at his usual table.

When Manni jumped out his arms Lakin removed the elastic from his hair to fix it. He bet he looked like a mess since he hadn't straightened up after sleeping. His mate looked perfect, though, he decided once he sat down. He brushed his fingers through his hair, wincing when he came across a few tangles. Sometimes he hated having long hair, but in the long run he knew he wouldn't want short hair.
He started to unconsciencously start humming under his breathe while he brushed out his hair and pulled it back into a ponytail. "What?" he asked out loud since people were staring at him.

Manni looked over when he heard Lakin humming. The boy was running his fingers through it like a mock-brush and Manni thought it looked kind of painful. Lakin kept humming and Manni noticed that the other members of the table were beginning to stare as well. The humanoid giggled when Lakin looked up, surprised to see the others staring at him.

Lakin blushed when he relized he had been humming. Orange was smirking at him and the other two looked a little amused. So did Manni. This was embarrassing. The wizard started biting his thumbnail and looked around the room a little. "Let's order," he suggested and stopped biting his nail.

Manni smiled and threw an arm around Lakin's waist in a quick hug. He turned Ongi on and... started to argue with the computer. Finally, Manni was able to coax the machine into getting their orders into the kitchen... which really meant that Manni threatened to destroy the AI and use his scrabs to build a less whiney model.

Lakin grinned while he listened to Manni and Ongi argue. When they were done he returned the hug that his mate had given him a few minutes before. Only this time he stayed in the embrace, burrowing his face in the other boy's shoulder. "You still playing cards with the guys later?" he asked softly, his voice a little muffled.

Manni shrugged. "I dunno. If you want to, you can play too. If you're not going to I might not, 'cause I don't feel safe with you just wandering around the ship by yourself," he mumbled, poking Lakin on the nose.

Lakin laughed. "I would probably get lost," he mused. He rested his head on Manni's shoulder and rested his eyes. "We should play," he said, blushing a little when his mind came up with different meanings for that. "Cards," he continued awkwardly. "I-it'd be fun, though I'm not very good at anything besides Go Fish," he laughed.

Manni quirked an eyebrow at his mate. 'What else would we....oh.' He blushed feverishly.

Lakin laughed and kissed Manni's nose. "I'm not sure if Barit and them would like playing Go Fish," he said and glanced at the three pilots curiously. "Would they?" he asked.

Manni looked at the others with a raised eyebrow. Barit backed up a bit.
"Uh-oh. I know that look."
Zelg sighed. "Hmm, and I was hoping to pine some more money off of Organgey, too. Pity."
Orange glared at the Jshiko. "You don't always win, you know! And I'm not going to play some stupid little kids game just so the aristocrat and suck face with the spoiled little brain!"

Lakin felt a mixture of anger and embarrassment. So he did the only thing he could to not lose control and possibly do something worse than flipping over a chair. He left. He stood up without a second glance at anyone sitting at the table, and walked out into the hall. From there he took the elastic out of his hair and placed it on his palm and started tearing it up with his mind. The poor elastic didn't have a chance.

Manni glared at Orange. Barit raised another eyebrow.
"Uh-oh. I know THAT look," he whispered to his Jshiko companion who nodded in responce.
Manni stood and glared at his blue-haired friend. "What gives you the right to talk like that about someone you don't know? And... and..... Why did I ever bother calling you my friend?!" he yelled at the boy, who by now looked surprised. "All you ever do is make fun of me and skulk around! I don't want to talk to you anymore!" he shouted before walking quickly out of the room to find his pissed off mate.

Lakin dropped the remains of his elasctic on the floor when he heard some one coming up behind him. He'd heard muffled yelling a couple moments ago and recognized his mate's voice, just not the words. Looking behind him he saw Manni, his face a little red from yelling. The wizard didn't really want his mate around, which is something he knew would not happen often.
He was just so angry, and it bothered him because he shouldn't get so angry over a stupid comment made by some one who was probably just joking around. "Go back in there and eat, I'm not hungry," he said softly. "I remember the way back to your room, so don't worry." With that, he kissed Manni softly and hurried off.
