Manni shook his head and ran after Lakin, grabbing the other's arm to stop him. "I'm not hungry either. Let's.... let's just go back to the room and... and I'll go sleep or read or something." I had the feeling Lakin didn't want him around, so he wasn't going to be in the way. Once they got to the room, Manni grabbed a book off his shelf and slumped down on the bed to read.

((16! Yaaah! *throws some more coffeti*))
Lakin watched Manni grab a book and sit on the bed while he gathered up his robe and pants. The wizard didn't think he deserved him. He was so perfect and... the dark haired boy wasn't. Who wanted someone around that lost control of their powers? You can't be around children and lose your powers. It's dangerous around older people, it would far more dangerous around children.
He hurried into the bathroom and locked the door. He decided to take a quick shower so removed his clothes and in. Sometimes showers helped to calm him down. It worked this time, he was happy for. He looked around for some towels and dried himself off. He slipped on his robe, deciding to leave the pants for now, and walked out of the bathroom. His hair was still soaked and dripping water down his back, but he didn't care.
He saw Manni was still in the same position as before, and it looked like he was trying to be as small as he could be. Lakin sighed and sat on the bed to bring his little mate into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry, Manni," he mumbled into his hair.

Manni watched out of the corner of his eye while Lakin stormed into the bathroom. He curled up with a sigh and tried to consentrate on his book. He'd read it a million times, that didn't help his attention span much. He wanted to hug Lakin and appologize for the blue-haired moron, but he heard the shower start so he ignored the urge.
The humanoid scrunched up even more when he heard the door begin to start. He was trying to be invisible. It always worked at home: just hide out until they go away or aren't angry anymore. He was surprised when he was pulled into a hug.
"I'm so sorry, Manni." Manni sighed and wrapped his arms around his mate.
"No, it's my fault. I shouldn't have been hanging around with that jerk anyway," he mumbled into Lakin's chest. "I don't think I'm gonna go play cards tonight."

Lakin tightened his hold around Manni and burried his face in his hair. He was sure he was dripping water all over the place but he didn't care at the moment. "You shouldn't call your friend that," he mumbled. "It was my fault. I over-reacted." He sighed, his breathe slightly ruffling the brunette hair, and pulled away a little to be able to look down at his mate. "I don't think Orange likes me," he said quietly. "Maybe he's jealous?"

Manni laughed. "Me and Orange never really got along. It wasn't your fault. Something like that was bound to happen. I don't think he likes you, either... but I don't think he's jealous of you," the boy winked. He kissed his mate on the nose the climbed away then flopped down on the bed.

Lakin just smiled and rested his head on Manni's stomach so he was laying sideways. He felt exhausted, even though he'd slept half the day away. He blamed it on trying to control his powers, that always left him tired. Usually not this tired... he hoped he was getting sick. "Hmm," he mumbled, starting to say something but instead dozing off.

Manni smiled lovingly at his mate when he mumbled nonsense before falling asleep. The humanoid started running his fingers through the other's hair, humming softly to himself as he did so, before falling asleep himself.

Lakin woke up shivering, which wasn't a nice way to wake up. He sat up slowly and Manni's hand fell off of his head. He smiled down at his sleeping mate before feeling his still slightly damp hair. The back of his robe was soaked, too. 'Stupid...,' he thought to himself, thinking about him falling asleep with wet hair.
He got off the bed slowly, so as not to wake up his mate, and headed into the bathroom quietly. He dried off his hair after removing his robe and then slipped on his pants. While walking back into the room he relized how hungry he was from missing two meals. The wizard shook his head pulled the covers over his mate before crawling in next to him. He held the sleeping humanoid in his arms, careful not to wake him, and watched him sleep since he wasn't tired anymore.

Manni woke the following morning to a grumbling stomach. He slowly opened his eyes and glanced around. Lakin was beside him, no longer in the robes he'd worn to bed, though the humanoid's mind couldn't really process much after that. He snuggled back into Lakin's arm to try and get back to the nice dream he was having.

Lakin shifted when he felt Manni snuggle closer to him. He'd been resting his eyes, trying to fall asleep but he couldn't. A smile grew on his face as he looked down at the drowsy humanoid and he heard a quiet rumbling from his stomach. He was feeling hungry himself. The wizard wondered what time it was. It was probably really early and he would have to wait forever for breakfast. He wasn't really looking forward to seeing Orange, though.
Lakin began stroking Manni's hair and grinned when the boy looked up at him. "Hello there, Sweetie," he said.

Manni smiled sleepily. "Morning, Love." He sat up with a stretch and a big yawn before falling back against Lakin. "Hmm. I wonder what time it is...." he mumbled.

"I'm not sure," Lakin answered and hugged Manni to himself. "Hopeful almost time for breakfast, though. I'm starving, and I'm sure you are too," he smiled and pulled his mate up for small kiss.

Manni smiled into the kiss then climbed over Lakin and off the bed to find Ongi. Once he had the device he turned it on with a yawn.
"Heya Manni! I-"
"Not now Ongi, I'm tired, I'm hungry, and I have the strangest feeling I forgot something important."
Ongi pouted at his creator. "Hmph. That's what you get for being a bossy butt- bad stuff happens. I hope you never remember, and I hope it's important too!"
Manni glared then smiled with a bounce. "Oh! I remembered! We should arrive on Parinenai sometime today!! Thanks for nothing you stupid machine, now tell me the time!"
Ongi growled. "Don't you treat me like crap! You're the one the programmed me! If you think I'm annoying then why don't you just change me, huh? Jeez, no respect!"
Manni raised and eyebrow as the room was quiet and Ongi sulked. He cleared his throat after a moment then raised his other eyebrow imploringly. Ongi sighed. "It's 08:30." Then he mumbled under his breath, "Butthead," before getting turned off again.

"8:30?" Lakin said, chuckling quietly at Manni and Ongi's antics. "When is breakfast?" he asked and sat up.

Manni shrugged, climbing onto Lakin's lap. "9:00 or 9:30. I'm not usually completely awake, so I don't know exactly when it is," he said with a blush. He leaned against his mate's body, tucking his head underneath the other's neck, and sighed contentedly. "I think I've gotten more sleep in the short amount of time I've known you than I have the past two weeks put together. How odd."
