Manni sighed, leaning into the touch. He slowly shook his head with a lazy smile. "You know for a fact that I'm just going to say that I don't care where we are as long as we're together, right? Well, then you'll say the same thing and we'll be doing this for hours. We just need to think of which would be most profitable for the both of us."

Lakin sighed, Manni was right. "Hmm," he mumbled and placed his hands in his lap. "Well... " he trailed off. He didn't want to think of this now, he was terrible at making important decisions. "We could... I mean...," he sighed at himself angrily. "How much do you make?" he asked awkwardly.

Lakin gave him a funny look and laughed. "You're funny," he said, ruffling his hair. He pulled Manni into his lap and gave him a small hug. "I... don't," the Wizard said in embarrassment. "Make a lot of money, that is." He didn't want to admit it, but he worked as a dishwasher at a diner near his house. It never bothered him before, but now that he wanted to support someone else... it did. "But I can always get a new job, one that pays better," he added quickly.

Manni shrugged and leaned against Lakin, burying his face in the other's neck. "Mmmm.... well, I wouldn't mind staying here... but, it's not the most conductive place to raise children, ya know?" Manni blushed and cuddled closer to his mate.

Lakin coughed and held Manni closer. "Children?" he said quietly. He'd forgotten about those. Not that he had anything against them.... Images of little Manni's running around popped up in his mind. They were going around making things and... it was cute. He laughed quietly. He didn't have any brothers, so he liked the thought of having some children. "How many do you want? One... two... nine?"

Manni choked. "N-Nine!?!?! What do you think I am? A dog? Think of what that would do to my figure," he joked as he struck a pose showing off his "figure". He collapsed, giggling, against the other.

"It wouldn't hurt you to gain a few pounds," Lakin argued at his giggling mate and poked his tummy. "I guess we don't have to have nine," he sighed dramatically. "We need at least three though. No, make that five. Is five alright?" he asked, kissing his mate's nose.

Manni laughed and kissed Lakin. "Five? Hm... We could have all their names start with the same letter.... How 'bout 'z'? That's a nice letter, isn't it?" He laughed at himself. "How about three? That seems like a nice, round number.... Man am I hungry," he mutter, placing a hand on his stomach. "Come on, let's go eat already!"

"...'Z'?" Lakin questioned his mate curiously. He stood up from the bed, swooping Manni up in his arms along with him. "What begins with 'Z'?" he asked, more to himself. "Hmm...." He kissed Manni's forehead. "Did we sleep through lunch?" he laughed.

Manni laughed as he wrapped his arms around his mate to keep from falling. "Hmm... what DOES start with 'z'?..... Zerca? ..... Zebra..." The image of little Lakins running around with black and white stripes made him laugh. "Yes, I think we did. That explains my hunger... hmmm, I wonder what I'll have."

"Zerca and Zebra?" Lakin laughed quietly, walking towards the door and studying the doorknob quizzically. He glanced between Manni and the doorknob then back at Mann. "I can't open the door when you're in my arms, sweetie," he tried out the new nickname, wondering if his mate would like it.

Manni smiled and turned, opening the door himself. He leaned against Lakin again, placing his forehead on his mate's shoulder. "Got it, Love." He grinned. If Lakin could use pet names then so could he.

Lakin smiled brightly when Manni called him 'Love'. He guessed his mate like his petname, and wondered what he would do if he called the Humanoid 'Sweetie' in front of his friends. Would he be embarrassed or just not care? He stopped thinking about it, though, as his mate began to tell him directions to the cafeteria.
"What are you going to have for dinner?" he asked, looking down at he brunette. That's when he noticed how much he held the other boy. Not that he had anything against holding his mate, he loved to. He just questioned whether or not Manni liked being held all the time. If it bothered him in some or.... His arms tightened around the other boy and he pushed away the questions for later.

Manni smiled when Lakin hugged him tighter and shrugged at the question. "I don't know. I usually get a craving for something once I get to the cafeteria, then I just get that." Manni sighed and rested his head on his mate's shoulder. "This is nice, like my own personal taxi service."
