Are you sure?

Dov knew he wasn't sure but that didn't change anything. He shook his head in silence and felt the skin of his cheek break when he bit it again, feeling nervous. "No." He whispered and started walking. He knew he had two options, passing Kezro and leaving the room or staying.

Dov stopped in front of Kezro and looked up at the other, fumbling with his fingers behind his back to calm himself. "But that doesn't matter..." He whispered, and bit the inside of his cheek until he felt the soft skin break and a copper taste filled his mouth.

Dov pressed his lips to Kezro's to let Kezro know that he was sure about his question earlier. He kept his eyes tightly closed, still nervous.

Kezro tasted something metallic inside the kiss and he realized it was blood. He started, alarmed, but he continued on with the kiss. He didn't want Dov to get upset by his pulling away, even if it was to check the other's source of pain. He was trying to comfort the boy's anxiety, after all.

For a few moments, the kiss stayed chaste, a mere pressing of lips against each other. The half merman moved closer to his mate and wrapped his free arm around Dov's middle. He lightly squeezed the smaller hand still within his own; slightly changing their hand positions so that their fingers laced.

He pulled back with a smile. As he surveyed the Zercan's expression, he lent back in to gently kiss off the blood left on Dov's beautifully rosy lips.

"Your choice...We'll only do whatever ya want. We can even...just have a shower," he said. He knew he had hesitated there and he immediately felt bad about it. It was just that...Dov was his mate. Pure and simple, the other and him were perfect for each other. He could just imagine what it would be like to be fully bonded...

Dov found himself blushing madly when he heard Kezro's words. He nodded, more to himself then his mate, trying to get everything straight inside his head. Dov tightened his grip on Kezro's hand and chuckled. "Just have a shower..." He joked, trying to calm his own nerves. " Whatever did you have in mind instead of...just a shower."

He knew perfectly well what Kezro was thinking of and it made him unsure. The younger one didn't know what to expect and all though the thought made his stomach turn he also felt excited.

Finally Dov started to pull Kezro with him. He took a deep breath which left his body the moment they entered the bathroom. The white haired boy placed a hand on his shirt, his fingers trembling against the fabric.

Kezro blushed almost as badly as Dov had. He hadn't meant to assume, but...! How embarrassing, even worse was what he had assumed about! He hadn't meant to; his mind just kind of ran away with him.

When Dov pulled him into the bathroom, he had to avert his eyes when the younger pulled off his shirt. He didn't want to be rash...He was curious though, and could feel his eyes trying to wander.

"Um..." He moved over to the edge of the shower and sat down, running his fingers over the tabs. "I'll just turn on the water then...How hot do ya like it?" he asked.

Dov let his shirt fall from his hand and walked over to Kezro, kneeling in front of the other. He started to get rid of Kezro's shirt and anwsered the other. "Very hot." He decided and grinned, letting his fingers ghost over Kezro's soft skin.

Dov boldly pressed his lips against the soft skin of Kezro's stomach and licked the skin, hoping that the other would respond to his touch. When he pulled away he smiled up at Kezro. "Kezro..." He whisepered softly, letting his finger draw lazy circles on Kezro's hip. "I love you..." Dov said then.

Before Kezro could reply Dov was all ready pressing his fingers underneath Kezro's pants, feeling the warm skin underneath his fingertips. He closed his eyes and burried his head in the crook of Kezro's neck, waiting for Kezro to do something, to make some sort of move.

Kezro's body quivered and he gasped. His breath came in short puffs as he felt his mate's hand stroking him. He felt like he was on cloud nine and he knew that this was a high he never wanted to come down from. He managed to murmur, "I love you too..."

A small smile crossed his face, and the half mermen reached out and began to work on the chest in front of him. "Well, let's see how hot I can get it for ya...," he said breathlessly.

He had to slide down from the shower's edge to the floor though. He wasn't sure how long he could stay sitting upright like that if Dov continued in the manner that he was...Kez moaned lightly and leaned forward just enough to kiss and nip at the skin on the boy's neck.

Dov smiled to himself, keeping his eyes tightly shut. He started to push Kezro's pants down. He bit the inside of his cheek and moaned softly. Dov's eyes shot open when he felt Kezro's lips against his skin and he couldn't help but let out a soft yelp and a childisch giggle.

"Shouldn't we be getting into the shower?" He asked playfully and pulled away from Kezro, looking at him with a grin on his tanned face.

Kez quirked an eyebrow at Dov's impish expression and he nodded slowly. "Yes, I do suppose so...," he said, slightly sulking that he would have to move. He had to smile though at the boy in front of him. Slowly, the Zercan was shedding the shell he had seemed to inhabit.

"Okay," he said, and that was all the warning the other got before the half merman scooped him up and stepped into the blast of warm water. He himself gasped at the funny feeling of wet cloth rubbing against him, but it wasn't a bad funny...Just different. He smiled at Dov and let the boy down.

"Now then...We're in the shower. Happy?" he joked as he wrapped his clothed arms around Dov's bare torso, nuzzling the flesh there.

Dov chuckled and shook his head. "You are weird." He decided and started to tug of his wet clothes, blushing slightly. When he got rid of his pants he bit his lip, looking up in Kezro's eyes. He rubbed his hands together before stepping closer to Kezro and helping the other out of his clothes.

"Um..." He whispered but didn't know how to continue. A sigh left his lips and he felt his heart beating faster. "If we...um..., you know." Dov felt his cheeks turning hot and knew they were probably a bright red. "Then there's something you should know...about Zercan's..." Dov whispered and wrapped his arms around Kezro's neck, still feeling akward being out of his clothes.

Kezro nearly groaned at the feel of the smaller body pressed against his own, but tried to focus with all his might. This was his mate talking, afterall...Though, the fact that it was his might that was leaning against him wasn't helping the boy's cause.

"Okay...," he said slowly. "What is it?" he asked, somewhat curiously. He shook his head; it wasn't working. He had to take a step back from Dov's arms so he could listen better.

Dov clasped his hands together, leaning against the cold wall of the shower, keeping his eyes on Kezro. "Well you see..." He let out a heavy sigh and decided to stare at a point just next to Kezro's head so he wouldn't feel too nervous.

"I could get..." He shifted a little and placed his hands on his stomach, rubbing his fingers on the tanned soft skin. He tried to listen to the water, hoping it would be able to calm him somewhat. "Pregnant." He whispered, not even sure if Kezro could hear him.

Kez blinked. Pregnant...? He had heard of that actually...That when Zercans mated, someone always ended up pregnant. He had just forgotten it in the moment...

He thought about it for a few seconds before smiling to himself. He wouldn't mind, actually...Especially since it would be his mate that he would be having a child with. It would be wonderful!

They would raise their child...No, kit...properly. They would teach him how to do all sorts of things and would love him no matter what and would try to give him good advice about the world and would embarrass the poor little guy to death when he got his mate and...

The half merman glanced over at Dov and saw that the other looked somewhat nervous and uncomfortable. He offered a small smile and he knew that the shower was no place for such a bonding. He moved closer to the boy and grabbed a random bottle of soap, and began to wash both of them off.

He didn't say anything really, just keeping that small smile on his face. He could tell that his mate was obviously confused by his actions because the younger kept trying to say something or to touch him, but he wouldn't give him a chance.

Finally, the green haired man finished up. He picked Dov up in his arms and carried him to the bedroom. He set him gently on the bed and moved to light some candles and cover Gupse's tank before moving back onto the bed.

Dov still looked confused and a little bit hurt, but Kezro would have none of that. He leaned into the boy's ear and whispered, "I thought we should do this right, don't ya? The bathroom isn't exactly the best place to really start off our relationship in. Yes, I still want this...And yes, I still want you..."

With that, he let his hands begin to wander and he began to kiss his way from Dov's ear down...

(I guess this is where we skip a part *chuckle* )

Dov tried to calm his breathing, looking at Kezro who was towering above him. He couldn't help but blush, his cheeks a bright red as he thought of the intimate feelings they had just shared. "I love you." He breathed, his voice a mere whisper while it shook.

He tried to smile and barely succeeded, to shaken. Dov had been confused when Kezro had ignored his advances before and had felt his stomach clench and falter untill Kezro had told him the reason why and brought him to the bedroom. At first he thought it was because of him, because he could get pregnant.

Dov chuckled, shaken out of thought. "I guess we need another shower." He blurted and wrinkled his nose.

Kezro smiled down at his mate with a tired expression. "I love you too." He then leaned over just enough to place a kiss on Dov's cheek. When he pulled back, he rested his head up next to the other's.

"Mm'kay," he murmured in answer to Dov's suggestion as he began playing with the other boy's damp, silver tresses. He made no move to get up though. Actually, he moved in even closer and continued to weave his fingers into his mate's hair.

"You're so beautiful, Dov...," he whispered, smiling.

Dov turned his head to look at Kezro and smiled, feeling happy. "Well, that's always nice to hear." He giggled and then turned red.

The younger one bit the inside of his cheek and wrinkled his nose. "Shouldn't we be getting up then?" He asked in a whisper, not really wanting to leave the warm embrace of his mate.
