The two dove a little further. Terry kept glances up towards the surface. He was a little nervous they were going to be late. Soon they came upon a huge underwater moutain. Green eyes lit up slightly, as they spotted a small yet familiar cave entrance.
They swam through the tunnel, and eventually to a enclosed cavern. All around the sea bed, were shiny treasures. Terry pulled Demoiselle upward to the water cavern's surface. It was a lagoon surrounded by a mountain of crystals The ceiling was like a dome made of a thin sheet of crystal like the rest of the cavern. Terry smiled as the rays of the setting sun above reflected off the crystals lighting the cavern, making it sparkle like stars in the sky.
Terry pulled Demoiselle over to a small beach. "This is my favorite place." Terry grinned as he flopped himself on the wet sand. He rolled onto his back and stretched. "And guess what! Here's a secret!" Terry jumped to his knees leaned in to whisper in Demoiselle's. "This the exact spot where my Papa proposed to mama!" Terry giggled, and fell back on the sand. Green eyes stared at the evening through the crystal shield. "I can believe though, this is really romantic place, don't you think?"

Demoiselle smiled, happy that Terry was in such a good mood. "Yeah, this place is romantic. It's like stars in a night sky." Demoiselle wondered if this would be a good time to bring up certain feelings, but decided against it.I know this place is important, but of we ever have a special place I want to be one we find ourselves...together, thought Demoiselle, but he couldn't resist wrapping his arm around Terry protectively. Demoiselle enjoyed the feeling of Terry in his arms and since things were going so well Demoiselle decided to test his boundaries, carefully nuzzling Terry's neck before gently kissing him. This is nice. I hope every day can be like this. Like I'm in paradise with my merboy with me.

It caught Terry off guard, making the boy flinch slightly. Terry was used to the cool water against his skin. Terry rolled to his side, and further into Demoiselle embrace. He smiled. Terry knew he would have to get used to the warm touch of a dragonis instead of the cold one of his own kind, but he could do it. He liked it. Terry giggled a little, feeling Demoiselle nuzzle his face against his own green hair. He snuggled closer. Suddenly, his breath caught in his throat. His green eyes flashed open to find Demoiselle kissing him. It was even warmer than his embrace! Terry felt like his body had instantly melted. Even though he was laying down, his arms came up to wrap around Demoiselle's shoulders. Terry felt he would fall if he let go. Slowly, his eyes closed again and his body relaxed into the kiss. This felt really good. It also felt strange, he had never experienced anything like this before. His hands were trembling.

Demoiselle murmured happily when Terry didn't pull away and as much as he wanted to continue his exploration of Terry's body he knew it wasn't the time. He still hadn't told Terry in words how he felt and what he wanted from Terry. Demoiselle needed to ask Terry to be his mate, but there never seemed to be the right moment and he wanted everything to be perfect. Demoiselle gave Terry's neck one last kiss, enjoying the tingling sensation that coursed through his body, but ignored the part in his mind that demanded he should claim Terry. I'll claim him when he agrees that he wants to be claimed and who do mermen go about mating anyway, wondered Demoiselle as he looked into Terry's pretty eyes, I don't want to screw anything up, but I'm sure there are things mermen do different from dragonises. Demoiselle didn't know, but decided that he would ask Terry about it later and carefully stood up, making sure that Terry's soft, warm arms stayed wrapped around his neck. Demoiselle loved the feel of Terry touching him, it felt...right. "Come, It's getting late and I'm sure both our fathers are going to start worrying about us. Show me the way out of this cave and I'll fly us over to your house,"voiced Demoiselle, remembering how much Terry seemed enjoy flying the last time and it was the least he could do for his merboy.

It was the oddest he ever felt. He couldn't speak. There wasn't a time Terry could remember when he didn't voice his own opinion. He could feel his face get warm. His hands were trembling again. Hearing Demoiselle's voice, Terry calmed himself looking up at the dragonis. "I guess you're right." Just then, an idea hit him. "We can fly out of here!" Terry looked up and at the top of the dome was a small opening which let in the sun's rays. Terry, however reluctant, pulled away from Demoiselle and ran clumsily over to the wall and started to scale the crystalline cavern. "Don't worry, I can easily make the opening bigger so you can fly through it, the layer is very thin!" Terry called back down as he tried to find his footing.
(((I'm very sorry! I know you're probably thinking I abandoned the site, I could never abandon my cute Terry! But I have been busy with other things with my family, Harry Potter, my other stories/characters, as well as other RPG characters I'm playing with. I hope you haven't given up on me Terry is still with me! and I hope this doesn't get forgotten...again sorry for the absence))))

Demoiselle watched Terry scale the wall and was impressed. I guess mermen move well on both land and water. He watched Terry carefully though, ready to catch him if he fell. We should do this more often. I like spending time alone with Terry and this is a very pretty place.
(((I was hoping you hadn't abadoned me!!! I'm relived now and sorry for such a short post, but I'm not sure what else to write. glad you're back!!!)))

(((COOL! You got a picture up! Now I have a better image of Demoiselle, and nice choice of picture, oh and I'm sorry I haven't been on for a while, I'm helping my parents move and what not...also I was kind of at a block at where I wanted to go with these two...sorry!)))
Terry, after slipping a few times trying to find his footing, finally made it to the top of the dome, it was a lot harder because the surface was so smooth, and Terry had never climbed this high before. It was only because of the thought that Demoiselle was waiting for him made Terry even more determined to not give up. Terry swung his arm and punched a hole through the thin layer of crystalline ice at the top, even more pink setting sun rays streamed into the cavern. Terry went to make the hole bigger and succeeded as he started to crawl through, however, Terry lost his grip and soon was clinging to the edge of hole dangling helplessly above the cavern floor. Green eyes widened as he heard a crunch. The ice was crumbling beneath his fingers! It soon gave away, and Terry could only pray he hit the water, though even then it would still hurt. Green eyes closed bracing for the harsh impact.

(((I know what you mean about where these two should go *sigh* it's hard and I understand about the moving))))
Demoiselle watched Terry closely, noticing the detemined look on his face and how he easily made a hole in the ceiling. Demoiselle felt proud at that moment, for having a friend who looked so frail and beautiful yet was strong when he needed to be. You'd be the most perfect mate a dragonis' could ever ask for merman or not, thought Demoiselle, smiling loving at Terry who was now beginning to crawl out of the tunnel, but the he slipped. Demoiselle felt his heart stop at that moment, but without second thought quickly caught Terry before he could hit the ground. Unforunately, the rocks Demoiselle was standing on were slippery with water and he went tumbling into the water, taking Terry with him.
Demoiselle sat up on the shallow water that they had fallen in and began to laugh. He didn't know if he was laughing because he was happy Terry wasn't hurt, if it was from his obvious lack of gracefulness, or just maybe it was because of the pain he was beginning to feel on the back of his neck all the way down to his waist. "You should be more careful Terry," murmured Demoiselle, wrapping his arms around the slim merman, "I don't know what I would've done if you had gotten hurt." And then I would've never been able to forgive myself if something had happened to you while I was here. Sometimes, I think you're too sweet and kind to ever return my feelings. Demoiselle ignored his pessimistic thoughts and it his sheer happiness that Terry had avoid an untold disaster kissed him right on the mouth.
((((wow!!! that was a lot to write and for some reason I really liked writing it and I think it's good. Did I give you something to work with??? Hope you can figure something out and my ideas are limited, but them being dragonis' and merman could really add to the plot and cause problems, etc. not to mention there's Feu and your characters that we could get back into too.So, just throwing that up there and look forward to hearing from you and Terry!!! bye bye)))))

Terry gasped as he felt a extreme heat rise to his cheeks, but it wasn't because of the kiss Demoiselle was giving him, though strangely enough he enjoyed. It was the thoughts of Demoiselle that circled again and again through his mind that made him blush. Reluctantly pulling away from the warm kiss, Terry looked at Demoiselle curiously, "Would really make a good mate, there are a lot of people out there who are better and stronger then me... but... I would be very honoured..." A small smile appeared on his lips along with deeper blush across his nose. Terry wanted more. The kiss was so warm. It made him feel safe. Terry liked, no, loved it. "...If you chose me." Green eyes sparkled as he stared at the Dragonis. Terry leaned in reciprocated Demoiselle's earlier movement, kissing him, a little clumsy, but it was his first kiss he had ever given.
(((Woah! okay! I realize I haven't been here in awhile, for that I'm sorry, also I'm trying to think of what to do right now to push the story forward, right now I'm just sort of winging it...but I do love Terry, and I have wanted to get back to this site sooner I just didn't know what I should write till now...)))

((lol. It's okay. My internet was down due to a storm anyway))))
Demoiselle almost felt his heart explode with joy at what Terry said. He wants to be my mate as well. Demoiselle was about to reply when suddenly Terry was clumsly kissing him and it was the best feeling Demoiselle had ever felt. He feels the same way. We're free to be together forever. Demoiselle almost purred into the kiss and possessively wrapped his arm around Terry so that he could pull him closer. "Don't worry Terry. I want you to be my mate. I've been thinking about it for awhile now, but you probably already knew that," voiced Demoiselle with a chuckle, "I want to be with you forever." Demoiselle knew that they should be heading back to Terry's home since it was close to twilight, but it felt so right, so comforting to have his merboy in his arms that he didn't want it to end. They were both wet though and it was getting cold. "Lets head back," suggested Demoiselle, "we're wet and it's getting cold. You don't need to be sick when you haven't even regained all your strength. Oh, and by the way there's no one better than you who could be my mate and so what if you're not the strongest? I'll be there to protect you." With that said Demoiselle walked over to the whole in the ceiling Terry had created and waited expectantly for Terry to join him.

Terry's mind was in an estatic state. All he could see in his emerald vision was Demoiselle there, and that was what he wanted. Demoiselle was his world now, no one would come between them.
At Demoiselle's statement however, Terry huffed, puffing out his cheeks of his heart shaped face. "I'm used to this water! And I don't catch a--achoo!" Terry blushed as his voice squeaked when he sneezed, "That still doesn't mean I have a cold!" Terry said in denial, as he made his way over to Demoiselle, rubbing his itchy nose. Green eyes glanced up and pondered, "Do you think I should make the hole bigger?"

Demoiselle chuckled at his future mates stubbornness, but was a little worried when he sneezed. Demoiselle kissed Terry's forehead, checking hi temperature and the merboy's head felt a little warm.I just confessed how I feel and we're both going to be sick for days because I kept us out in the cold, thought Demoiselle, ready to find a nice warm place for Terry and he to lay down. "The hole is fine Terry," assured Demoiselle, wondering if the merboy was trying to show off, "just go through it. You might not be getting a cold, but if I stay out here much longer I think I'll get be getting one."

(((I could have sworn I replied sooner! So very sorry, hopefully I will be better now!)))
Terry put on a big grin. He didn't want to give anyone especially Demoiselle a reason to worry about him anymore. Terry nodded, and once again climbed up the wall, slipping once or twice, but soon made it through. Terry stood on the small island in the middle of an isolated lake surrounded by hundreds of evergreen trees on all sides. Terry loved coming here. Though it was always trouble getting home. He had to cross through the forest path, but still...he could stay here forever, as the evening sun was just peeking her head over the horizon one more time before going to sleep.

(((I thought you had given up on this for awhile. Nice to see you back))) Demoiselle looked around at the forest and smile. It was good to have his feet on solide ground again. He wasn't for sure how much he could stay in the water. He liked to fly, but water was a completely different for a sky dragon though he was sure he could get use to anything for Terry. "What to fly back," questioned Demoiselle, smiling warmly at Terry, "we'll get home faster though the cool air may make whatever cold or flu we have worse." Demoiselle hoped Terry would agree. He loved to fly and it was even better when he was flying for Terry. They really did need to get home quickly though. Both their fathers were probably starting to worry and Demoislle didn't want to create anymore problems for Terry and him when they were already going to have enough. After all, who'd ever heard of a merboy and a dragon becoming mates? Yes, the had a long road ahead of them, but they'd be there of each other and Demoiselle knew that everything would be okay. As long as they had each other. ;Dthat was very very mushy, but I couldn't help myself. nice to have you back!!!

((You're fine! Terry is just giving me a hard time right now...he wants to play, I have to study...)))
Green eyes were slightly taken aback by the suggestion, and his cheeks flushed as his head lowered. He didn't think about flying, it wasn't the common thing to do among mermen. So, of course the boy was a nervous. He had been working up his nerve already to run through the dense forests. Just then, the image of flying on Demoiselle's back came to his memory, and as he remembered, a smile grew on Terry's lips. Green eyes were sparkling as they opened again. Looking up at Demoiselle, he nodded excitedly, "Yes, I want to fly."
