Demoiselle smiled down at the merboy and just wanted to kiss Terry 'til he couldn't breath, but didn't know how Terry would react. "I've missed you too Terry," voiced Demoiselle with a warm smile and deciding to chance it kissed Terry lightly on the lips, " are you okay now? Would you like anything? Like your uncle said you are rather pale. We can talk about things later, okay?" While waiting for Terry's reply Demoiselle couldn't help, but continue to touch Terry. Anywhere it didn't matter where he touched him, but he had to make sure that this was his Terry and that everything...for the moment was good.

Terry felt a his cheeks burn several shades of red as Demoiselle, it felt like he was on fire again, but it wasn't like the burn he felt from the whiplashes. It was like the flames were trying to protect him, instead of trying to consume him. His hands clung to Demoiselle's shoulders. Terry didn't want this feeling to go away. He stayed perfectly still closing his eyes, enjoying the feeling he received as he felt Demoiselle's hands touch him.
Just then, his stomach began to groan loudly, and Terry flushed with embarrassment. "I guess I am a little hungry." He reluctantly pulled from the embrace, stood up shakily, trying to find his balance, and reached from his water gourde, clutching it tightly to his chest. He didn't want cold water. He wanted Demoiselle's warmth.
Looking up, he forced a smile and offered his hand. "Come on let's go get some lunch. Uncle Gabriel makes the best lunches!"

Demoiselle was a little surprised at how accepting Terry was about his kiss and he felt safe...maybe it was a more a feeling like he was complete. Whatever it was Demoiselle wanted to feel it again, but wasn't going to push anything until Terry had something to eat.He needs it, thought Demoiselle as he noticed how skinny the merboy was when he stood up,don't worry Terry we have forever to talk and hopefully one day you'll tell me what happened to you, but I'll be here when you're ready. You're strong Terry and you'll be okay. "Lunch sounds good," agreed Demoiselle, also getting up, but he was a little skeptical about the food, but for Terry anything was worth it.

"Koran! Slow down! I know you're worried, but this is ridiculous!" Gabriel shouted as the two figures zoomed through the water. He was speeding after the other Merman who was swimming at almost an insane rate. Luckily, being the older brother, Gabriel had always been just a little bit faster than Koran. Finally, he caught up and grabbed onto the other's ankle, pulling him back. Unfortunately, Gabriel had miscalculated how fast Koran was going and they slammed into each other, falling against a nearby reef. Enraged aquamarine eyes glared down at his brother. "You said Terry was here! I want to see him now!"
Gabriel's crystal blue eyes just glared back. "And I told you, Terry is safe at my home. He's not going to go anywhere at the moment, seeing as how he's resting. Besides, he's right now in the best of care!"
"I don't care!" Koran shouted, throwing a tantrum like a five year old, tears leaking from his eyes. "I want to see my son!"
Gabriel sighed. He understand what his brother was feeling. Koran went through the same thing when Maris died. There was a short time when Koran couldn't even look at little Terry without bursting into tears. Gabriel couldn't bring himself to hate his brother. He knew Koran loved Maris, and Terry. And Koran is still blaming himself for his mate's death. Seeing his brother still worked up, he sighed and pulled his little brother into his embrace. His hand stroking tenderly the long dark blue hair. "It's all right, Kory, I understand. Don't worry Terry is fine. He'll be in your arms soon...but..."
Gabriel was unsure how to break the news to his brother, about Terry finding a mate. However, he knew he had to tell him something, seeing Koran look up with worry clouding his eyes. "What's wrong? Something wrong! Terry's been hurt!" Panic flooded Koran body and in a instant he pushed away from elder brother and sped off again toward the shore. Gabriel sighed and bit his lip nervously. "Well...you're definitely going to be surprised little brother..." And with that he raced off after his brother.
Meanwhile, Terry with his water gourde still clutched to his chest, he made his way to the kitchen. He sniffed the air, smiling, remembering all the times he used to help Uncle Gabriel with cooking or some kind of herbal medicine. The boy walked over to the refridgerator and peeked in. Green eyes widened in delight. "Yea!" He exclaimed, "Fish!" He grabbed the plate and went to put it on the counter. "Do you guys want anything, to eat or drink?" Terry said turning back to the fridge.

Demoiselle looked at the dead creature Terry had in his hand and mentally cringed.
"I think I'll just have more tea," replied Demoiselle with a smile, glad to see Terry happy again.
"What is it you're eating," inquired Feu looking at the thing curiously, "I don't believe I've ever had it before." Demoiselle wasn't sure about the food, but trusted Terry would be okay by his excitement once he'd saw the food.
"Why don't you go make yourself something to eat and I'll keep a look out for anyone coming. Where is Gabriel," questioned Demoiselle feeling uncomfrotable being in someone's house when they weren't there.

Sensing Demoiselle nor the other didn't like the leftover catfish, Terry placed the plate on the counter and trotted back over to the fridge to see if there was anything to drink the others might like. For some reason, Terry wanted to always make sure Demoiselle, especially, was happy all the time.
Just then, something else caught his eye in the refrigerator. His green eyes lit up. "Yea! CAKE!" The boy pulled out the plate and set it on the counter. "It's my favorite kind too; angel-food cake!" The merboy reached over to open the drawer, however, his face paled as green eyes looked in the drawer of sharp utensils and knives. His hand froze in mid-air. His memory was sent again into flashes of his painful past, and his body began to tremble again.
"TERRY!"
A voice shouted out from the direction of the front door, startling the boy out of his frozen state. Green eyes looked around and saw an man with longish dark blue hair breathless standing in the doorway. A wide grin crossed Terry's face as the man rushed forward and embraced the boy as though could make him let go. Tears streamed down his face as he buried himself within the familiar waves of Terry's vibrant green hair. "Papa..." Terry murmured happily, "Can my friends and I have some cake please?"

"Yea!CAKE!" Was the first thing Terry caught and Demoiselle smiled at Terry's happy expression. He loved Terry's smile and he was glad Terry hadn't taken offense. Demoiselle watched curiously as Terry sat the cake on the counter. It doesn't look bad, thought Demoiselle happily.
"It's my favorite kind too; angel-food sake!" Demoiselle chuckled at Terry shaking his head, but straighten as he saw Terry freeze.
"TERRY!" Demoiselle looked at the man with longish blue hair and stiffened. Oh no. Terry; however, seemed rather thrilled as the man hugged him and Demoiselle wanted to growl, but didn't. This is someone Terry obviously knows and that'd be bad, thought Demoisell, I can't hurt him, he's done nothing to me.
"Papa..." Terry murmured, "can my friends and I have some cake please?" Demoiselle froze instantly recognized the word papa and remembered hearing about his attitude toward dragonises. This can't be good.

Koran wanted to be angry, he should be angry. His own son had run off without telling him, and he had absolutely no hint as to where Terry had been or who he had met! And yet as he held his son now, the boy asking him such an innocent question, Koran's anger melted away with the tears rolling down his cheeks. "Of course, you can have some Terry." He pulled away from the hug, his hands still clutching Terry's shoulders, "Then you can tell me of your little adventure away from home." Koran smiled, however, as he stood to cut Terry a piece of cake, his body froze, rage filling him. "What the hell are you two doing here? GET OUT!"
At that moment, Gabriel appeared in the doorway catching his breath, "Kory!" He rushed over to his brother, gripping his arms, holding the other back from attacking. Koran had his pride, but he was also reckless at times and rushed in without thinking. He was also stubborn. Gabriel held his brother back, knowing full well a Dragonis could easily overpower a Merman. "Koran, there is a reason why they're here! They helped Terry get back home! They protected Terry!" Sensing his brother calm a little, Gabriel turned to the others. "Perhaps if we all sit down in the living room, things can be explained."
Koran glare then shifted to Gabriel, "What's there to explain?! All Dragonis' are full of lies anyway! We're leaving Terry!" He reached out to pull his around his son's shoulder, pulling the boy close to him, and if not somewhat behind him." Terry just looked up at his father with sparkling green eyes, "But, you said I could have some cake..." Koran glanced down at his son, and faint smile touched his lips, "Uncle Gabriel will some later." He said as they started to turn toward the door.

Demoiselle tensed as Terry's father yelled at them, but tried to ignore it so he'd avoid upsetting Terry. Thankfully Gabriel was defending them and he was glad he had the merman's support.
"...All Dragonis' are full of lies anyway! We're leaving Terry!" That definately caught Demoiselle's attention and that was the last straw. He was not a liar.
"But, you said I could have some cake..." Demoiselle calmed mometarily loving the sweet sound of Terry's sweet, innocent voice. That soon faded;however, when Demoiselle saw them head to the door and something inside him told him to stop them. He needed to see Terry and be able to protect him. So he listen to that voice and blocked the door.
"You can't leave," hissed Demoiselle his golden eyes flashing, but he kept his voice kind for Terry's benefit, he didn't want to upset him, "Terry needs food and he's still too weak too leave. I'll protect him.Even if it has to be from you."
-----------------------
Laydum paced the room in annoyance. No one had found his son yet.
"Sir," voiced a young boy, a messager, "we still have yet to find Demoiselle, but Amle said he might know something that'll help."
"Send him in then," urged Laydum his tempter appearing. The messager nodded and quickly scurried out of the room. A moment later a red haired dragonis appeared in the room.
"Laydum," greeted Amle with a respectful nod, "I overheared Demoiselle talking about some merboy with Feu. Since Feu hasn't appeared either I'm assuming that they went to mer country."
"Then that's where we shall go," annouced Laydum, beyond angry that his son had managed to run off AGAIN.
"Laydum, our relationships aren't stable with the mermen right now. I don't think that's a good idea. This could lead to a war," explained Amle calmly.
"I don't care. We will get my son," growled Laydum.
"Yes, Laydum," voiced Amle with a weary nod and went to prepare to leave. This wouldn't turn out well.

"Koran, can we at least talk about this?" Gabriel came up from behind Koran, placing a hand Terry's shoulder, "The Dragonis is right, Terry does need to eat. I'm speaking as a healer. Also, since Terry is back safe and sound, maybe you could also open up Merman Territory again?" Koran, averting his eyes away from Demoiselle, (there was just something he didn't quite like about this certain Dragonis.) "Fine, as soon as Terry and I get home the borders will be opened, now if you'll excuse us, brother, we'll be on our way."
"I'll protect you..." The words echoed over and over like an alarm going off inside Terry's head. Green eyes widened with worry. Adam. How could almost forget his friend who helped? Thick green waves fell over blurred green eyes, hiding the quickly filling tears as images in his memory rushed past him. "Adam..." Terry murmured under his breath. The plate that he held in his hands slipped from his numb grasp, and as the plate hit the floor, shattering, Terry pulled his hand from his Papa's warm grasp and raced out of house. He had to make sure his friend was all right!
"Terry!" Gabriel and Koran shouted together. They were so startled from the crash it took them a few moments until they too rushed after him. Neither of them wanted to lose the boy again. The same thought raced through the brothers' minds, 'What would make Terry run away like that?'

Demoiselle watched in alarm as Terry took off running and also began to follow him. Who's Adam, wondered Demoiselle feeling a slight pang of jealousy, and why did Terry react like that? Demoiselle shook all thoughts away and focused on catching up with Terry, whatever had made him react that way must of been very important. What was worrying Demoiselle though was that Terry seemed to be acting strangely ever since they'd found him and just maybe Terry would lead them to the source of all this chaos and panic. -------- "What do you mean we can't enter mermen territory," growled Laydum wanting to get ahold of his son so he could drag him back home. How could he do this, fumed Laydum feeling stressed, he knows he's the only thing I have left and he leaves me....maybe I shouldn't have banned him from travelling with me. ((((I got my internet back!!!!So if you have the chance you should be hearing from me more. )))))

Terry kept running, past the shoreline and through the forest. His thoughts were only on one person at the moment. He promised he would come back for his friend, no one should be made to live like that. Terry just hoped they hadn't already left the planet yet.
The boy closed his eyes as his continued to ran as fast as his legs could carry him. He could do it. He knew these woods like the back of his hand. This forest was practically his backyard. However, blindly running, Terry ran straight into someone. The man clasped his hands around Terry's shoulders, not letting the boy get away. Terry struggled more and more, and then finally opened his eyes to see a Merman soldiers had caught him. Relief flooded Terry for a moment. But then his memories reminded why he was running in the first place. He started to struggle again. "Let me go Evan! I have to go help him!"
"Evan!" The two looked up to see Gabriel and Koran running through the trees. Evan bowed his head as he still held the struggling boy. He let go as Koran took Terry in his arms. "Terry, why did you do that?" He muttered into Terry's green hair. They both watched Terry for a second and saw tears coming from emerald eyes. "I want to help him...Adam is my friend. He helped me get away from the men who captured me...He's still there...I promised I would help him..." By the time, he was done, Terry was crying on his Papa's shoulder.
(((Yea! I'm glad you're back. I'm feeling a little better...and at least I'm finally free of exams._)))

Demoiselle ran after Terry rushing past the scenary and watched as Terry ran right into someone. The merman, Evan, wouldn't let him go and Demoiselle wondered why these mermen were being so difficult.Ca't they see he's hurting? He needs something and they won't let him get it,thought Demoiselle getting a little annoyed with these mermen, this would go s lot faster if they'd just let Terry show them what's bothering him. Terry began to explain what was going on and Demoiselle felt guilty for feeling jealous. He was a friend, thought Demoiselle a little relieved that Terry wasn't completely alone when he'd been captured. Demoiselle wanted to sooth Terry when he noticed his tears, but his father was in the way so all he could do was look at Terry longingly. "Go on Terry," urged Demoiselle with a small smile, "show was where he is and we'll get him." And I'll kill the men who did this to you.

Emerald eyes, still sparkling with tears, looked up as Terry heard Demoiselle's voice telling him to go. He wanted to go too. His memory knew exactly where it was he last saw Adam. However...
"Are you nuts, Dragonis?!" Koran stood up, standing firm between Demoiselle and Terry. "You want to send my son back there to the men who hurt him?!?" Suddenly, Koran blinked as he caught the thoughts running through Demoiselle's mind and smirked, "you're serious about that? Not if I kill them first." Koran still didn't want to believe that this Dragonis thought he was his son's mate, but for now they had to let that go. Now, they had to find these creatures who hurt his precious son. Turning to face Terry again, "Terry go on and find your friend, we'll all be right behind you."
Terry smiled as he wiped away his tears and hugged his papa, and ran over to Demoiselle and hugged him too, before rushing off again, letting his memory guide him. A little while after running, he knew he was near to the Merman Boundary. Terry didn't stop, but he was sure he just past by someone who looked a little like Demoiselle, but that was impossible right? Demoiselle was behind him, wasn't he?

Demoiselle looked smuggly at Koran as Terry hugged him then ran off. "I promised Terry I'd protect him," voiced Demoiselle looking at Koran sternly, "don't get in my way." "don't you think it'd be wiser to be friends," pointed out Feu looking at the two in disappointment, "it's obvious you're both very important to Terry and it's not right that you're putting him in the middle." Demoiselle huffed not liking how true Feu's words were and began to chase after Terry. He didn't realize that he had past by his father that was until. "Demoiselle," roared Laydum loud if that it felt like that ground shook. "Can't talk Father," shouted Demoiselle still chasing after Terry, "I have something more important to do than talk to you right now." Laydum silently fumed and ran after his son.Demoiselle. You're in big trouble when I get to you.
