Terry smiled as heard Heiko's words and hugged the other. It felt so warm leaning into the young Zercan's touch, if Terry was a Zercan he would've been purring at the moment. Terry was getting a little greedy and started rubbing his body against Heiko's seeking more, however, what he didn't understand was that the more he did the hotter his body temperature was rising.
"You're so warm, Heiko. It feels nice." Terry purred into the boy's brown hair.

Heiko rubbed Terry's back softly. "I think-"
"Fish is ready!" his dad called, interrupting their moment. "And you two better stop whatever it is you're doing. You're at the dining table for goodness sakes!" He shook his head as he started putting fish and vegetables on plates for the four of them.
"Yes, Dad," Heiko said quietly. He grinned at the merboy before setting him back in his seat. "You'll love the fish," he said happily. "It's even better than at that restaurant!"

Immediately at the sound of Heiko's dad yelling the word 'fish', Terry bolted up straight in his chair and took a big whiff through his nose, letting the declicious aroma of the fish waft in the breeze and drift across senses. The merboy got situated and waited in his seat paitiently as Heiko's parents placed hot plates of fish down in front of each of them. Terry shifted anxiously in his seat; he knew it was polite to wait until everyone was seated before he started eating, but the delicious and juicy fish in front of him was calling to him and it was driving him crazy.
"This looks and smells really deliciously, thank you!"
As soon as everyone sat at the table, Terry picked up his silverware becaue he had seen his father with his diplomatic associates, they were always so polite, even though when his father and him were alone they would eat with their hands; very informally.
All during the meal, however, Terry couldn't help but take several random glances over at Heiko. He wanted to know what the young Zercan was going to say before the older Zercans came in with the yummy meal, and badly. With each bite the boy took, his stomach flipped and his heart was beating harshly against his chest. To calm him a little, Terry took a couple of sips of water. He had to wonder what the other's feelings were toward him, though he was also afraid of what the other would say.

Heiko smiled to himself softly. He caught a few of the glances Terry gave him. "Do you like the fish?" he asked.

Terry took another bite of fish, savoured it before gulping it down. Then he took another couple of sips of water, and wiped away excess food from the corner of his mouth. He turned to face Heiko and grinned. "I love it! Thank you all!" He then leaned over and pecked a kiss on Heiko's cheek.

Heiko blushed lightly when he saw his parents share a 'look'. "It is no problem," his father said, smiling at Terry. "I'm always happy to cook for people. Especially when they compliment me," he joked lightly. Heiko smiled at Terry when his parents went back to eating. He really liked this merboy. He liked him a lot. There must have been something special about him, because even though he was friendly, he was not usually this friendly.

Terry laughed. He was just so excited to be here. He couldn't imagine what would have happen if he never ran into the boy when he first arrived. Terry didn't want to think about it. He liked Heiko too much! He could believe that he first considered going to Jeskara first, and was very glad right now that he had hopped onto the wrong ship.
As Terry finished his meal, and put down his drink, "This was really great! I'm really happy, I've never had a real dinner with a whole family before, it's usually just been me and dad. Not that I mind that."
Terry then stood, and offered, "I'm done, should I put these the sink or what?

Heiko finished off his own dinner quickly. "I'll take those," he said politely, taking Terry's plate and glass. He placed his and Terry's stuff in the sink. "Umm, we are going to go up to my room, okay?" he told his parents. They nodded and continued eating.
The Zercan grabbed Terry's arm and led him up to his room.

Terry watched, wondering why Heiko was in such a hurry. Emerald eyes watched with the utmost curiosity, head tilted to one side. The merboy gave a small yelp and gave a quick smile and bow of his head as he was pulled away from the room and pulled upstairs, and into the young Zercan's room.
"Heiko," Terry finally asked he entered the room, "Is there something you want to tell me?" Emerald eyes were shining brightly with curiosity and innocence.

Heiko tilted his head, watching the merboy curiously. The boy looked so... curious as well, like he was trying to figure out a secret. His expression was adorable, though. "Uumm..," he mumbled, sitting on the floor. He wasn't sure why he had been in such a hurry, but his parents had been acting funny.
"My parents were acting weird?" he said questioningly.

Terry stared back curiously at Heiko's answer. Then his cheeks flushed a deep red and the merboy let out a fit of giggles. "I'm sorry!" His words were broken as he tried to find a steady breath, "It's just you pulled me up here so fast, I thought..." but he stopped and bowed his green haired head, a beet red flush covered his cheeks, "it's nothing forget it."
Wtih that out of the way, Terry looked back up with a bright smile covering his blush. "You're parents are very nice...you're very lucky. You get to grow up with both of them by your side." Terry's frown, unknowingly faltered slightly and whispered, "I wish I had that."

Heiko tilted his head sadly. He didn't know what sort of thing he was supposed to say in this kind of situation. Seeing Terry sad like this was... sad. He placed his hand on the boy's shoulder comfortingly. "Hey, don't look so sad," he said softly. "At least you have one, right?" he smiled. "And I'm sure he loves you very much. It's hard not to like you, so I imagine loving you is easy as pie."
The Zercan patted his new friend's shoulder, grinning. "Do you want to play a game or something?" he asked, trying to lighten the mood.
((Sorry it took so long. I've been busy with finals. But now they're over ^_^ ))

Emerald eyes lingered longingly for a long time on the open window room. The white fluffy clouds in the sky looked so inviting. The fresh air caressed his senses. It was as if the other worlds were calling to him. Terry just wanted to jump out that window right now. However, something else was pulling at his heart. His arm tensed a little at the touch. It felt so nice sitting there. The merboy lifted his jade hand and placed it gingerly on it, wanting to keep it there.
Terry looked up finally in time to hear Heiko ask if he wanted to play a game. The boy smiled excitedly. "I'd love too!" He didn't even let another moment slip by as he continued, "I know what we could play!" He then threw his arms around Heiko in a tight embrace, with so much force in fact, it threw both of them to the ground in a tangled heap. Terry laughed, "It's called, 'Let's hug Heiko'! It's becoming my all-time favorite now!"
(((I know how that is! Hope you did well!)))

"Eep," Heiko mumbled when he fell to the ground. He laughed happily, hugging Terry back. He had been scared for a minute there, when the merboy was looking out his window again. He was sure his friend was going to leave him. But then he didn't, and it made the Zercan very happy. The boy laughed, smiling widely.
"I have a better idea," he smirked, turning so that the other boy was beneath him. "It's called 'Let's tickle Terry!'," he grinned, and then started doing so mercilessly.

Terry gasped aloud in surprise, unaware of Heiko's actions. He burst out in fits of laughter, as he felt the other's fingers run against his skin and over his hips. The merboy's body squirmed wriggled to escape the sweet torture. He flopped about under the Zercan like a fish out of water. Terry was laughed so hard, he couldn't get a single word. He tried to reach and grasp on to Heiko's wrists, but he couldn't hold on for some reason. Instead, he wrapped his arms around the boy's shoulders.
