Boredom

[Heiko]

The loss of contact left him feeling strangly alone, even with Terry sitting right there. But Heiko supposed he had a good reason for stopping their little moment. "Hey, I'll be right back with some water, Ter," he said quickly, standing up to run into the kitchen. The kittens were looking up at the new boy uncertainly.

When Heiko came back with a glass of water they ran off to find somewhere else to curl up. "Here, drink this," he said softly. He grabbed the Merboy's hand and wrapped his fingers around the glass.

[Terry]

Feeling the icy coolness beneath his touch, jade fingers curled tightly around the clear glass as the boy brought it to his lips. In less than two gulps, Terry downed the refreshing water, and breathed a sigh a relief. He then turned his emerald gaze toward Heiko smiled affectionately, but it quickly turned to apologetic grin, cheeks blushing with embarrassment.

His free hand reached to his side, and held up a small canteen. "Heh...you know maybe I should really refill this? It's been empty since I got here."

[Heiko]

"That would make things so much easier," Heiko grinned. He grabbed Terry's hand and pulled him up with him. "We can do that now." He led him to the kitchen. It wasn't small or big, just normal sized and was designed with different shades of green. Everything was a shade of green, no joke. Even the sink was a dark green.

"My dad's favorite color is green," he smiled with a shrug. He took the cantine from Terry and filled it up for him. "If it empties again just tell me."

[Terry]

Terry watched silently as Heiko took the canteen from his hands and began fill it up in the sink with refreshing cool water. Terry approached and stopped just behind the boy.

The urge was killing him; that undeniable urge that beat against his heart. Terry wanted so much to feel the soothing, loving warm touch upon his skin once again. He would just burst if he didn't have that warm feeling coursing through body again. Quietly and without warning, Terry wrapped his arms around Heiko. Terry knew this was going to end in heartbreak when he left, but for now, he just wanted to stay in this moment now.

Terry smiled into Heiko's brown hair, breathing gently, memorizing the Zercan's unique scent. He whispered softly in the boy's ear. "You know, I bet your dad will love me, however..." Terry paused to place a chaste kiss on the other's collarbone, "I rather prefer the color blue, like the ocean."

[Heiko]

Heiko twirled a strand of green hair around his finger. "I... ah, the ocean is pretty," he said, still a little out of it from that kiss. It was quick and soft, but it sent shivers up his spine and made him feel light headed. He wanted to kiss Terry back. So why didn't he?

He decided he could kiss the other boy on the cheek. There was no harm in that, was there? What he really wanted to do was kiss him everywhere but... it was probably too soon. No it's not something inside his head whispered to him but he ignored it and just kissed the Merboy's cheek.

[Terry]

Emerald green eyes widened as a warm sensation filled his heart as well as the rest of Terry's body. What? He had received so many kisses like that from his father when he was a child, but why did this one feel so different?

But...it was still so cute! The merboy's cheerful smiled returned as he tightened his embrace on Heiko.

"You are just so cute, Heiko! I could just hug you all day!"

[Heiko]

A light blush covered his cheeks, but he grinned anyway. "I wouldn't complain," Heiko answered. He tightened his hug around Terry, too. "Especially if it's anything like this."

[Terry]

Terry smiled into brown hair. He never wanted to let go of this boy. Standing here, he had all but forgotten about his father, and knowing the older merman so well. Terry knew he was very overprotective of his son, and would do anything to bring him home. However, Terry also knew he was safe for the time being, how could his father possibly know the boy was on Zerca.

[Heiko]

Heiko relaxed against his friend, closed his eyes. This felt so perfect. Just hugging Terry, being with Terry. Terry. He sighed quietly, a sound similiar to Sun's happy mew. "This is so nice...," he murmured.

[Terry]

Upon hearing the small mewing sound, Terry tightened his hold, nothing but no one was going to steal this peaceful, tender moment of silence away from him.

Terry smiled at the silence, he got nothing like this in the waters of Pareninai, where there was always merpeople splashing about playing with their fish friends, not that Terry mind being outside and playing harmless tricks on passing creatures, but he never once got a moment to himself, he was always around people, and being the son of a Lord you always had to put your best foot...er fin forward. Their was no time to be himself. Terry smiled.

Suddenly, the merboy jumped as he heard a loud bang coming from the entrance. It also startled him from his daze when he also heard a few deep voices calling out.

"Heiko, are you home?"

[Heiko]

Heiko jumped along with Terry when the door slammed open. "Heiko, are you home?" his life bearer called out.

"Yeah! And I brought a friend over," he said. Though the word 'friend' felt odd on his tongue when talking about the merboy.

"That's wonderful!" his mother said as he walked into the room, followed by his mate. One of the men was tall and muscular, with short dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. His life giver. The other was shorter, only a little taller than his son, and had shoulder length auburn hair. His baby ble eyes lightened up when he saw Heiko and Terry still in half embrace. "Oh my, you have brought home more than just a simple friend haven't you?" he smiled wryly. "My name is Aunnie, pleased to meet you," he smiled at Terry. "And this is my mate, Johnny."

"Aunnie's my life bearer and Johnny's my dad," Heiko whispered into Terry's ear, pretty sure he could figure it out anyway.

[Terry]

Green eyes looked between the two older Zercans. Terry was a little nervous though he was used to having his own father invite strange men, though Terry, himself, never actually joined in the social events. However, after thinking for a moment, he remembered how his dad acted. With one hand at his side while the other grasped Heiko's hand, He bowed his green-haired head respectfully low.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both, my name is Terrence Umeria."

[Heiko]

Aunnie smiled pleasantly. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, dear," he said. "My, where did you find such a polite boy, Heiko?"

"He tripped over me while running through the streets," Heiko grinned, glancing over at Terry with amusement. "He's visiting from Parinenai."

"Oh, that's wonderful," the auburn haired man smiled. "He'll being staying here I suspect? You'll have to sleep in seperate beds, but I hope we won't have to go so far as to put you in seperate rooms," he continued without an answer.

"How long are you staying, Terrence?" Johnny asked.

[Terry]

At Heiko comment and grin towards their first encounter, Terry blushed profusely. He had meant on purpose to trip over the boy...it just well...happened. Terry couldn't explain what drew him to the Zercan, maybe it was that Heiko was so cute, or was it something else?

When he heard Johnny ask him a question, Terry shook himself from his daydreams, and pondering the question a moment, his hand supported under his chin.

"I'm not quite sure how long?" He then smiled, "I guess I want to stay as long as I can before I leave to explore the other planets?"

[Heiko]

"Ah, so you are traveling to all the planets?" Aunnie asked. He waved everyone into the kitchen and told them to sit at the table. "That's wonderful," he smiled. The petite man started gathering ingrediants to make tea. "You are so young, though, Terrance. Do your parents not worry about you wandering the universe?" he asked with a hint of amusement and a hint of concern.
