Albus flushed and smiled, handing over his A.I. before grabbing his shoes and setting them by the door. "Thank you," he said sincerely with another smile. Eagerly he followed Madison inside, gawking at what the inside of an actual human house really looked like. Though, honestly, it wasn't much different from his one at home.

Madison went to pick up the still crying Ahiah and went to grab the male some sweats and a tank from his room. "You can wear these tonight. The shower's through that door, guest room's on your right once you come out." he said, pointing down the hallway as he pat Ahiah's back.

"Thanks," Albus said again, graciously accepting the sweats and tank. "I'll just be a minute." It was obvious why Madison was so protective, bearer's were fierce when it came to their young after all. Hurriedly, Albus darted into the bathroom to shower and change. He hung his wet clothes on the side of the tub before he went out to find Madison again.
"Why are you helping me?" He asked the human.

Madi looked up from where he was feeding baby Ahiah before shrugging. "Cause you're in a bad way. If I didn't you wouldn't have made it to the next house out here. This house sits on six acres."

"Mmh, true. My legs felt like jelly. I definitely don't think I would have gotten anywhere." Curiously, he peered at the kit as she drank from her bottle. "What's her name? It is a female, right?"

"Her name is Ahiah." Madison said, glancing at the boy.

"That's an interesting name," Albus replied pleasantly, peering a bit closer to the child. "I've never been around one so tiny before."

"She's only four months." Madison said, looking down at his sleepy baby girl. "You said someone was going to be looking for you?" he aske.d

"Mmh, my brother, Cassian," Albus replied, reaching out to ever so gently touch the baby's hand. Her skin was so soft! "He never lets me do anything and the first time I actually do something. I mess it up. He's gonna kill me I bet."

Madison nodded. "Does he know where you are? Are you from around these parts?" he asked.

"No, I'm from...er, out of town," Albus replied with a shy shrug. "That's why I was worried about my phone here. It has a tracking device in it, but if it's broken..." Again Albus shrugged. "I don't know if he'll find me soon or not."

Madison looked at the boy, then at the device on the table. "It doesn't look like a model I've seem before. "

"Uh," Albus floundered, groping for what to say. "It's really new." Why did this human have to ask so many questions?

Madi placed Ahiah in her carrier before picking up the phone. "This definitely isn't a model I've seen before."

"Do you work with a lot of phones? Can you fix it?" Albus asked anxiously, peering at his communicator in Mad's hands. "If you can, I'm sure my brother will find me then."
