My arms wrap around him again, "Alex... It's not that I don't like you... Its just if I got carried away you'd end up having a kit." Yup, just told him he'd get prego, nice.

I shook my head in disbelief. "T-that's impossible. I don't know about you aliens, but human males can't get pregnant."

"Really? That's kinda cool."

Did he just say... "Cool?" I rub the back of my neck. "I guess it can be... Sometimes."

"... Ready to go?" I ask again from the weirdness. "Cause I can get us onto a ship leaving tonight if you want."

heh cute~ "Yeah lets," I pull out my AI again. "Trym, got us booked yet?"

A smooth voice says back, "Yes sir, Bakey." And I twitch.

"So not the right time for nice names!"

I couldn't help it, I snorted. "Bakey?"

"Bakeru," I rush and growl at the AI. "Just cause my mom calls me that doesn't--"

"Chill, Ru. Chill."

"Enough with the--"

"Yeah, you two better leave now if you wanna make it," A green eyed female giggles.

"Ass," I mumble as I pull Alex up. "C'mon..."

The ship was what Bakeru called a cruiser, one of the fastest ships there is. It would get us to Zerca in four days. I was led inside and put in a bedroom with one large bed. Bakeru stayed with me, just talking.

"Bakeru, I was wondering, what do I mean to you? Why are you helping me?"

"You mean everything to me from the moment we started kindergarten together... We didn't know each well. Actually not at all," I smile and fluff up some pillows. "I knew, even how young and naive I was then, that you were my mate. The other half of my being, quite similar to the term soul mates or twin flames. But much, much more."

I take Alex in my arms, "I can feel your pain as clearly as you can feel mine. We share one heart beat, one mixed rhythm. When I say you're everything I mean it." Once again I stroke his hair, being kind and gentle, what he needs. "Nothing has meaning with out you... Nothing compares to you... Do you understand better now?"
