Kairi goes to the door and knocks just as Cyrus' mother comes into her baby's room, "Honey... We love you. You know that right. Don't cry. Please?"

His mother sighs and winces when the front door is opened and her husband yells at the person. Only to go ridged when she hears Kairi's cool response of, "Stand down sir... We don't need to fight."
She looks to her son, "Cyrus... If you love him then you'll tell him that he can't be with you. That you two won't work out."

Cyrus shook his head, "We will work out," he protested. "Just let me stay with him..." He looked to the door when he heard Kairi, "Please..."

Kairi sighs as the older human blocks his way, "You'll have to come out eventually."
The father just growls a few more things before shutting the front door. Then going to his child, "We're leaving, now!" The mother hugs her child for the last time.
"Be good for them, your Aunt and Uncle. They haven't children themselves."

Cyrus nodded and picked up his things. He packed all his clothes and his guitar things. He stood slowly hoping Kairi would get him.

More than slightly irked Kairi taps his foot at the front door. While the father drags his son out the back and into their car. Cyrus' stuff thrown into the back and the car is started.
The noise perks Kairi's interest and he snarls as he sees his mate and his "giver" drive off.

Cyrus sat up watching his mate, tears running down his face. He knew he wouldn't see him for a while, Kairi couldn't leave the lake.

Kairi's world drops into an un-focused blur. Shaking his head to try to clear it so he can think he turns back to the door and throws it open. He goes in and sniffs out the mother whom he walks towards, "That wasn't your idea... I can see it in your eyes."
Cyrus' mother stops her sobs over her son leaving her and looks up at the intruder, "I'm... I was just..."
"Scared ma'am?" Kairi offers. "Well you should be. You've just pissed off the body of water near you, but..." He goes and takes her hands in his. "I forgive you."
She looks at him in awe, "I... I don't..."
"Where is your husband taking my mate?"
"Your... Mate? Cyrus said something like that..." She bites her lower lip. "Do you really love him?"
"I'll die with out him..."

Once they reach the airport Cyrus' father leads his son to the loading bridge, "Your Uncle will be waiting for you." And has his son board the plane alone.

Cyrus looks out the window as they fly off. "Kairi," he whispered feeling like his heart was breaking.

Kairi nods to the woman who Cyrus calls his mother, "Thank you ma'am." And he turns to leave, knowing that he will be attempting something risky by leaving this area. But Cyrus needs him. "If I never make it to him... Tell him that I love him even in death. And that I'm sorry." With that he exits to follow after his mate, the only one he'd follow to the ends of the world...

Cyrus unpacked slowly once he got home, worried about Kairi. He hoped he was alright and he hoped he would see him soon. He went to his bathroom to wash up and that's when he saw it...Kairi's mark. He knew now he was pregnant and he sat on the edge of the tub, breath leaving him in shock as his tears fell. "I need you..." he whispered.

Kairi had taken to the air when he realized just how far away his mate had become. He flies in the direction a map he'd read said to go along with some travelers like himself, I'm coming Cyrus.

Cyrus' uncle comes in and sighs, "Your aunt will be home soon... Then we'll have dinner. Anything you want?"

Nodding he goes to leave the room before, "Don't tell your parents about who your aunt really is, okay?"
