When they approach Cyrus' house he is practically tackled by his flying mother, "Where have you been, young man?!?!"

Cyrus blushed deeply, "Um...in an underwater cave...with Kairi...we got stuck..."

[mesmu]

"Kairi?" She glares at her son. "You've some nerve boy, spending the night with a girl."

"Excuse me," Kairi gapes. "Ma'am... I am Kairi." And yes, he did remember clothes so as to not offend anyone.

Cyrus' mother stares, "You're Kairi...?"

[fearless]

Cyrus blushed a bit, "Yea thats my Kairi..."

[mesmu]

Now the mother's eyes darken, "Yours huh?" She looks to the dragon. "You've made my boy a queer did you?"

Kairi doesn't respond and just takes Cyrus' hand, squeezing it for support. When she sees this the mother grabs her son and yanks him inside, "Stay away from my son!!!"

Cyrus whimpered when hes taken away for Kairi. "Mom...stop...what are you doing?"

The mother glares at her son, "Go to your room. I'm going to have a talk with your father about this."

Kairi stares stunned before growling lowly and heading off the property to await the next time Cyrus left the house.

Cyrus went to his room pouting, he missed his mate so much already. He hoped his mother would change her mind so he could go see his mate.

Mother and Father argued for a time while Cyrus was in his room before the boy's door is thrown open and his Father storms in, "Did you bed down with that man?"

Kairi had been tempted to go and save his mate from the shouts he had heard, but decided against it. He had to let the parents' rage run its course.

Cyrus blushed then nodded, "Yes...he is my mate..." he told him softly.

The Father looks even more enraged than when his wife had told him her suspicions. He pulls Cyrus on his feet, "Well then. We'll just have to fix that." He all but growls out. "You're going to live with your Aunt and Uncle. I'm sure they can cure you of your insainity."

Cyrus shook his head quickly, "No I can't..." he protested. He knew Kairi could not leave the lake, and he promised never to leave him. "I can't leave Kairi..."

Cyrus' father wasn't having it and told his son, "You've five minutes to pack whatever it is you're taking with you."

Kairi can feel his mate's distress and badly wants to go to him. So he heads for the door again.

Cyrus looked like he was going to cry but nodded. "O...ok..." he whispered and rushed to pack everything.
