The water was warm that morning and Kairi awoke to the usual sounds. Fish swimming and far above birds chirping. Lazily, as if he had slept longer than a night, he moves up towards the surface. But doesn't brake it for humans, hunters of his kind may be around.
He watches dragon flies try to reach him before turning towards shore. And even though his bearer would kill him for this he is going to sun bathe. As a 'human' of course. He slinks out of the water slowly. Then changes into a muti-hair colored, amber eyed boy. He sighs as a breeze kicks up and the sun kisses his skin.
"So peaceful..."

Cyrus ran to the lake, glad to be free from his family. He stopped though when he saw Kairi, not knowing who this new boy was. "Hello?" he called standing a few feet away from him. "Who are you and what are you at my lake?"

Kairi jumps and rolls onto his knees, white wings (forgot to mention them in last post) flinging sand and he hisses lowly. Then tilts his head, "Your lake...?" He narrows his eyes. "This lake belongs to my family." Not really taking in the blue eyed male, just enough to know he is human and his wings tuck in.

Cyrus' eyes went wide as he saw those wings. "Wait...what are those?" he asked softly, confused. "You have wings?" He bit his lip and took a step back, "I must be dreaming..."

Kairi nods, "Yes. You are asleep." He backs up slowly and then jumps back into the lake, disappearing under the surf.

Cyrus ran after him jumping in quickly. He made his way to the bottom trying to find him. Then he felt something wrap around his ankle. He freaked kicking at the thing. He couldn't breathe and he couldn't get to the surface, he was drowning.

The thrashing caught Kai's eye and he turns back. The boy stupidly fallowed him! He swims over as fast as he can. Once seeing the thick seaweed holding the boy down he throws all cautions to the winds and changes back. Then snaps his teeth down on the water grass twice before it brakes.
He grabs the boy's shirt with his teeth and drags him to the surface. Once their he once again changes back and pulls the boy onto land, "Oh Luna! Please be alive!" He listens for breathing.

Cyrus coughed up tons of water eyes watering. He was shaking a bit, he was so scared he would have died. He looked to the boy biting his lip, "T...thanks..." he whispered voice horse.

"Stupid," The half Dragonis says coldly. "If you can't stay out of trouble. Don't swim." He stands and turns away.
"You can keep your thanks human," He almost spat the word. "I don't need it." And he wades back into the water, diving under once again.
Back under the water he swim away, but not too far in case the idiot tried to fallow him again. He holds himself and steals away the pain he had felt when he had saw the other drowning.

Cyrus looked to him curious, waiting for a bit. Soon he went back into the lake swimming on the surface for a bit. He wanted to know why the male thought he was so different.

And Kairi watched him swim, like the silent lake spirit he is. He didn't come up for air for he knew the art of breathing under the water. So he just waits and hopes the boy will return to his little village soon so he can hunt on land in peace. Ah, a good deer sounds great to him right now.
He doesn't like hunting in the lake for the fish are like his family. When the waters freeze they help him find food and holes in the ice to get through. Sometimes, when desperate, a human to take him in for a short while and then he leave with a thanks, returning to his cold lake.
The waters around him continue to stir and he's about had enough of the human. So he swims back up, popping up next to Cyrus, "Are you deaf? Leave!" He growls with an icy tone. "The fish are angered by your presence."

Cyrus looked to him frightened, "I want to swim..." he muttered. "Why won't you let me?" He pouted looking like he was going to cry. "I don't want to go home...I want to swim."

Kairi fallows to watch over the boy. He swims in graceful circles around the other.
