Of Ukes and Smoothies (Zehl/Kau-MATURE)

Zehl sighs at the kits, but before he can comfort the crying Zero his older twin is with him, holding him protectively and cooing to him. Obviously sorry for what he did...

Sheba jumps in at this, "He's just fine... He just woke up and some tests are being done."

Daren just frowns and listens to his bearer, also depressed his mate isn't there. If only to know he'd have someone to lean on...

[squabbel]

Kau opened his eyes looking at the two, they were so close, and were only just a day old. Kau started to wonder if... he shook his head and looked up to Zehl, before closing his eyes again. Zero his his face in Gravity's neck, still crying.

Abel swallowed not taking his eyes off of Daren, "Poppit, do you want me there with you?"

[mesmu]

"Whats on your mind?" Zehl asks softly to Kau... Almost hoping his lover doesn't hear him.

Daren shakes his head, "Just be there when I get home." I need you...

[squabbel]

Kau looked up shaking his head, knowing even if it was true, it didn't matter, he just closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around his lover's neck. Kau jumped when all of a sudden a blur of black and cold whizzed by and out the door. Startling the two kits. He looked toward the door worried, what was his papa thinking. He picked up the kits and started to comfort them.

"OI! What the hell are you thinking! You?! Going to the city!? Do you WANT to die!?" screamed the annoying male in Abel's ear.

Abel ran through the forest much faster than most vampires could, it would of been easier to have Vlad beam him to the city, but if he did that he'd be noticed. It would take him half an hour to get there, if only Daren could wait that long. Abel's face was hidden by a plain white mask and wore a long black and gold cloak, if anyone did see him they wouldn't know who he was at least.

Confused as well Zehl frowns, but helps the mother of his kits. The two settle down shortly.

When the transmission had ended Daren bites his lip and looks to his mother, "I think... He's..."

Sheba growls lowly, knowing what worries his kit already, but can not leave his side, "He'll be fine..."

[squabbel]

Kau let the two kits play on the floor once more, acting as if his father hadn't just ran out the door towards the city. He got up and stumbled towards the kitchen, and began making breakfast for the fam, he even mad some for the new kit, Sheba, Abel, and Daren.

Abel slid down the side of a steep slope, heading towards the birthing center. After landing he began running again, this time along the rooftops, hoping no one would spot him, the guards in the large watch towers were sleeping as always. Landing in-front of the Birthing center, he rushed inside and passed the counter, the nurse going after him, "Sir, you can't do that, who do you want to see?" she asked trying to get him to stop. "Darren Haelyn," he said continuing down the hallways, dodging doctors and nurses cutting her off, and stopping her in her tracks.

Finding his mates room he quickly rushed inside and closed the door and shut the window, finally removing his mask and cloak, making sure there were no cameras. "Poppit," he said in releif nearly dropping to his knees as he took his place at Darren's side.

Zehl listens closely to what Kau is doing, but watches the kits play.He smiles at the kits, seeing Gravity already trying to crawl and drag his brother around he laughs light heartedly...

Daren gasps then pulls Abel close to nuzzle him, "You're not allowed to be here." But none the less he is purring. In the time that Daren had been waiting there little baby had been rolled in and now rests in the grandmother's arms.

The new mother sighs and looks to their bearer, "Ma... Let Nebby be held by his Papa."

[squabbel]

Abel was breathing heavy, he had overdone it, but he had no choice. He looked weakly up at his child, who was strangely quiet. He shook, the fear once again, he kept thinking back to the day he had found Kau when he was a baby, he swallowed hard, and tried to keep the memories at bay. He wanted to hold his only blood born son, but he couldn't bare to. He was shaking, an unnoticeable amount, as he slowly held his hands out, and the baby was placed into them.

He looked into the child's eyes much like he did Kau, once more, and this time the child looked back. Gently he raised an un-gloved finger and poked the babe in the stomach. Suddenly the babe grabbed his finger and bit down on it as hard as he could. Instead of drawing back as most parents would, he sighed in slight releif, at least he had done his part of the job right. He let the babe have his finger as he wanted to, having a faint, very faint, smile on his face.

Zero laid there on the floor whining as his brother tugged and pulled on him, not wanting to move. He covered his face with both of his rather large paws. Kau moved around silently in his small green gown and pumpkin shorts, hoping that Zehl and the others would like it. Ever since he had become pregnant he was forced to take it easy, it felt good to be in the kitchen once more.

Daren brakes out into a smile and cuddles against Abel's back. Sheba nods and mouths: Awe~. Then Nebula lets go of his Papa's finger and paws at it playfully...

Zehl shakes his head and picks up both the babes. Then goes into the kitchen, "Whatcha making, Kau?"

[squabbel]

Abel sits down next to Darren, showing him the babe as it played with his index finger, the worry was still there, it would never go away, but at least so far they were safe.

Kau didn't say anything, he just kept cooking, and after a few minutes he turned around and set the table. One the table he had a pile of pancakes, a pile of waffles, a pile of bacon, a pile of biscuits, and finally a pile of eggs. It's been so long since he made so much but he was happy with himself, he was still waiting to make Abel's breakfast though. He just smiled, proud of himself, knowing he made far too much, but that didn't really matter to him.

Zehl whistles before kissing Kau on the check, "you make an epic breakfast, Anui."

Daren senses Abel's feeling and frowns, "Don't worry. You're safe."

[squabbel]

Kau just blushed and smiled, twisting his hair about, before leaning over and kissing his lover on the lips.

Abel smiled, and laughed, holding the baby close, "I know that, Poppit, it's nothing most likely, but I already know that I'm safe, as long as I'm with you," he said smiling, but he still worried.

[mesmu]

Zehl purrs and nuzzles Kau, "I love you too." And he sets the babes in their height chairs, pushing them close without needing to hear their cries. Then he makes first his mate's plate and then his. He sits and pulls his older lover onto his lap.

Sheba sighs and goes to the door to listen, he knows that the nurse had said half an hour. Their time was almost up.

Daren smiles at his lover, "You say one thing, but your heart says another." Shaking his head the liger pulls Abel down for a chaste kiss. "I love you."

[squabbel]

"Yes it does, but it has nothing to do with me being in danger, how many times do I have to say it?" He said smiling, placing the Babe into Sheba's arms before he wrapped his arms around Daren's neck and kissed him on the limps. "I love you too poppit, how could I bee so lucky to have a mate and a son as beautiful as you two?" he asked brushing the hair out of the boy's face.

Kau cooed happily in Zehl's lap as they enjoyed their breakfast, Kau kept one eye on the kits, the other other on Zehl. He didn't care even if they were duct-tapped in those highchairs he was worried they'd fall. He ate very little, what Zehl put on his plate had only had a few bites taken from it, but the little incubus was already full.

Sheba sighs and looks to Nebula, "Your bearer is a worry-wart. You're gonna have to cure him of that." The kit just growls and places with Sheba's white and black streaked hair.

Daren sighs into Abel's embrace, "The fact you're so caring, and wonderful, and perfect." He purrs and then smirks. "One down, and I'm not trying for eleven more!"

Zehl also watched his family closely, sensing Kau's un-ease he rubs the other's back, "They're fine." Gravity had leaned a crossed the wood to lick his brother's nose and now is giggling at the other's look on their face.
