Of Ukes and Smoothies (Zehl/Kau-MATURE)

The hunter overpowered the Zercan, his mouth opening wide, fangs growing ready to clench on the boy's neck. Before he could do anything to harm Daren blood shot out from his back making him scream, he jumped off the Zercan and spun around to see Kau [ Clicky ] dressed in red and black, a mass of red cloth and spikes wrapped around his head repeatedly. Kau was squatted on the ground, standing up straight, or moving too much was too much a chore for him, but even in his current state he could hold his own. The man started to attack but before he could strike Kau's claws were shoved into his face and out the back of his head.

Abel looked back and saw Kau helping his lover, he wanted to get them back to the dining room, but decided against it, he needed help, and they'd more than likely keep each other out of trouble. Now in a corner, Abel was forced to draw his sword, no other way out. He stuck the end of his sword into the throat of a hunter infront of him, missing all vital organs, and raised him up with as little effort as squishing a fly. The man kicked and screamed, begging for mercy. Two other men ran up swords unsheathed and swung at Abel, grinning at the blood that splattered on their faces, but Abel continued to stare up at the whimpering man, almost like he didn't feel the swords that had just entered him. Quickly he grabbed the man's arm and sliced him into thirds, taking the other two's heads with him, with nothing but gasps.

Zero just nods resting his paw on his brothers, and stayed close not moving ever.

Triem glances back in time to asses the damage. Henry: 1, Hunters: Zip. Good, he thought. Lets keep it that way. The eldest lets everyone younger, save for the kitten, Zero, in his arms pass first. Then hands over the baby, "Zehl, take your kit."

Father recieving kitten and younger twins latching onto each other, the younger Zercan, elder twin's morphed ears twitch. White fur standing on end, "Kau." Oh, he's doing something reckless!

Sheba continues his fight, glancing to see his eldest and first son-in-law fending next to each other, he feels confidence brim. If Abel and Kau have been fending of these guys for years, then the four of them will easily wipe the floor with these Hunters.

Henry heads in the direction after the others, both his arms now tightly wrapped around nebula a he ran next to Triems side. He looked at his lover, looking for his next order. The babies are begining to kick pretty hard, as if they're trying to ask what's going on. Henry winces at the feeling of the rough movments.

Abel was bleeding pretty bad but it didn't seemed to affect him. He kept his stern face and continued to to stab and rip apart of the hunters. His blood much darker than the others, it almost looked black, and seemed to move about on it's own. His hair didn't even look as bright as his was just a few minutes ago, his skin paler, and his eyes showed a new level of urgency.

Kau continued to stay close to the ground still in the same spot, but luckily he handn't suffered any injuries. His claws swung this way and that, keeping the hunters at bay, usually he'd be doing more but in his current state he could only do this. Kau just sighed, kinda grateful his father was an unstoppable tank of destruction and death.

Triem just takes his mate's hand and whispers, "Keep the kids safe. I love you."

Zehl shoot a glance at his brother and snarl, "oh the hell ya don't!" when the Lion has to pounce on a person whom was following them, snarls rippling from them both. Until the more feminine one shouts out:

"Stars Tri!!! It fucken' me!!!" The elder brother's freeze and Triem stares.

"ELI???"

Gravity has the look of one whom is a little confused, hell he's more than a little. He mews at the same time that Nebula does. And then a roar echo's in the house, one that sends shivers down all the elder kits.

Sheba freezes in time to have one of the hunter's claws to stab into his back leg. But before the Hunter can do anymore damage a Golden Lion pounces in, throwing the attacker to the side. The larger cat's claws dripping with blood and their teeth bared in anger.

"Sheba! Daren! Get out of this fray! Me and the other Givers will handle this!" But of course this just makes both said Bearers fight harder. each defying their mates' wishes. But Daren just directs the other siblings back. The youngest at age eleven and no Mortemer in sight.

Now Sheba pounces onto his husband, pinning him, "How dare you bring my children into this!!!"

Henry feels very confused now, and the babies won't stop kicking. He sets down nebula next to the other kits and sits up against a wall, rubbing tiny circles on his belly. It felt like the were doing back flips or something, it was killing him.

Kau moved to his father, he was getting tired and if Abel took too much more damage something bad wold happen, and it would be to all of them, not just the hunters. He was bleeding in copious amounts, it was amazing he was even standing up. His eyes were a glowing crimson, and he looked almost white, his hair almost absent of all color. The hunters wouldn't stop coming, and it was apparent they were prepared for the worst. "Kau, help me lure them into the hall, I know you don't ever want go there again but if we don't we'll never be rid of them, after they're in run and make sure no one else is inside," Abel ordered, if they helped from this point on or even stayed in the room they'd just get hurt maybe even killed. Abel didn't want that to happen.

Kau's eyes widened, he knew what he was planing on doing, and he began to shiver, but nodded all the same. He adjusted the wrap and covered his eyes, as he continued to fight, moving next to his father towards a narrow hallway hidden under the stairs.

Zar pushes Sheba off him and growls, "Move it!" And Daren was about to pull Kau back when he saw he was headed to his father, to Daren's mate. The Liger lets out a slightly wounded sound when he sees Abel, but holds himself back from racing to the vampyre's side, respecting his earlier wishes.

The younger Haelyns all crowd around the pregnant Henry and Triem holds his mate, rubbing first his back and then his stomach, "Its okay... Everything is okay."

Gravity stares at the large mass of larger cats and move in front of his twin, slightly un-sure of what's going on.

Henry whimpers and leans against Triem, "It hurts Tri, I think they're scared."

Kau lead the hunters into the hall, shaking like a leaf, unable to control his movements anymore. He squeaked in pain, when he felt the edge of a sword cut through his blindfold and through his cheek. Abel instantly lopped his head off. "Kau, are you ok?" he asked, the boy just nodded still shaking. "Then run!" Abel ordered, and Kau didn't hesitate. He more of stumbled out of the hall as fast as he could.

The doors slammed shut and Kau locked them, putting a iron fireplace utensil in the handles and leaned against it, slowly sliding to the floor, where he ripped off his blindfold, hand guards, and began to cry his heart out, tears seeping through between his fingers. He was barely injured physically but whatever inside that hall must have traumatized him.

Zero looked up to his brother, and moved beside him shaking, gently licking his brother's cheek, he didn't look like he was going to move either.

Zehl goes to Kau and rubs his cheek with his mate, their kittens mewling happily at the site of their mother. And Triem rubs Henry, "I know and we're going to be okay,okay."

Eli and Raven organize the younger Haelyn siblings.

Daren and Sheba look to one another, then to Zar whom is looking to Abel, "What's the plan Vampyre?"

Henry curls up against Triem with a solem expression, "You dont know that." he whispered quietly. The babies soon stopped moving, allowing Henry to relax and bury his face in the crook of Triems neck.

Kau just sobbed unable to make any noise other than total despair. He held Zehl close, shaking like he had spent years in the Arctic tundra. Abel was still behind the door leading to the hall, no sounds escaping it. "Just stay away from that door, all of you, got it?" said a voice seeming to come from nowhere but obviously belonging to able. Soon agonizing screams of pain and despair sounded through the house, coming from behind the door, and then there was silence again.

Kau continued to shake, taking his babies into his arms and pressing his body into his lover's as much as he could without crushing the babies. Zero licked his mother's face, wondering why he was in so much pain.

Nebula mewls softly from where he rests next to Henry and Triem keeps his eyes glued to the door. Zehl holds Kau just tight enough to comfort him, but not so to crush the kits. And Gravity puts a paw to his mother's face, asking whats wrong just through a look.

The younger Haelyns shiver and Daren growls, not liking the silence, he doesn't know what to make of the silence. Sheba agrees with his eldest but trusts Abel so he keeps himself in check and Zar is holding his mate close.

Henry leans against Triem, his hand going down to absent mindedly pet nebula. 'What if we die?' he thought, 'What if Triem IS wrong?!'
