If Al was taken aback by what Graise said before, what he said next really shocked him. Was he giving him options, or taking them away? He had no right to, or was he going to use the fact that there were apparently...mates. He didn't feel comfortable having how he felt stated; he wouldn't say he was panicking, more like worrying a bit over the general facts of his life.
"I don't think you have the authority to decide what I do." He commented, frowning as he pulled his wrist back closer to his body. How dare this guy think he could tell him what to do. "I think if I don't want to see you, its called harassment." Which wasn't exactly legal if he recalled correctly. It was childish of him, but he grasped on to whatever he could work with. "Ever heard of that?" Hopefully there was no exceptions for mates.

Graise rose and glared down at him. "Yeah, I have. But I have also heard of mate's rights. No judge in the galaxy would side with your cause over mine - though why we are having this discussion I do not know." Running a hand through his blonde locks, he sighed, "I am merely trying to tell your stubborn self that I do not want to tie you down if that is not your wish but I need to see you, I want to see you and be near you. Is that so very bad?"

That wasn't fair at all! Alphonse found himself narrowing his eyes at his mate, Graise. "I suppose I can't make you do otherwise, can I?" It was meant to be a statement, but the last part came out a question. One he was genuinely curious about, though he supposed it was a bit much to assume he could. "As long as you don't interrupt my way of life." Which summed up what his mind focused on, how his life would possibly change.

"You're quite melodramatic, do you know that?" Graise said dryly. "I ask for a few bits of your time each day and you suddenly think you're world is over. Some mate's are glad to find their other half, you know?"

"Melodramatic," Alphonse repeated the word with a frown. He made it sound so simple, like he wouldn't notice it there was someone sneaking into his life, his heart, his world. Didn't this guy know adding something like that, and then taking it away crushed peoples worlds. He didn't need that, he was fine with his current state of affairs. Out of all the people Al had seen mated off with one person or another, there was nothing he saw that made him want that. Actually, that was a lie to himself, saying the opposite of how how he felt.
"I'm not about to complain." Not anymore, he'd just keep his mouth shut on the matter, though he was told he couldn't quite ignore the other he could try. "Do what you want, I won't stop you." More like, he couldn't do anything, but this wasn't a crime apparently, so he had to live with it.

Graise narrowed his eyes. "What I want? Then you wont mind my AI tracking you so that may find you to spend time with you daily since you are so obviously not as enamored with me - your mate! - as I am with you."

Al's face did visibly tint pink, more like his cheeks did, and he didn't hide the glare he suddenly directed his way. This guy just wanted him head over heels for him! Stumbling over himself just to be at his side. How dare he decide such things for him! He was seriously going to give him a piece of his mind, before reconsidering it and biting his lip. It wasn't like he was a liar, he had said he would let him do what he wanted without complaint, hadn't he? "Sure, I said you could..." That sort of came out mumbled, but it was clearly audible to Graise, due to how close he was.
"Now my lunch break is almost over, was there anything else you wished to discuss." He took a few more sips of his drink then before mentally declaring himself done. Already he was moving to stand and head back to work, only pausing to hear whatever Graise would have to say.

"I want to see you when you get off work. We need to figure some things out, I think," Graise said, leaning down to kiss the boy on his cheek. "Will you come to my home when you get off?"

Al actually felt himself blush at the random kiss in the cheek. "Do I have an option?" It was a stupid question, considering even he knew they had to figure things out. Seeing he had to see this guy, his mate. The thought had him grimacing, having to do anything made him grimace. "I suppose I have nothing to lose." He might as well, he felt things would be more confusing if he didn't. Maybe there was some way to make him reconsider having him as a mate. It was a hopeful thought, though he knew that was an impossible feat. Mates weren't exactly chosen by the other person.
"Now if you don't mind." He wasn't going to stand around and continue the conversation, he was moving off already towards the back of the front counter. He had to retrieve his apron and get back to work.

Graise wanted to throw the coffee cup at him. He didn't and instead calmly write down his address and said with a sarcastic tone of voice, "It'd be kind of hard to come over without the address, wouldn't it, beautiful?"

Alphonse actually feigned a careless sort of look, it would have been a lie to say he hadn't thought of the details. It would have just been the perfect excuse not to go see him again. "I suppose your right, so I'll take this and come see you later." He referred to the address Graise had written down. "That all?" He felt it was, but he was asking to seem polite, or remotely so in his case.

Graise actually rolled his eyes. "Just be there or I'll cyber stalk you and you know what that means."
Shaking his head at his impossible mate, he left the building and headed home. He liked to think that it was because of his super eagerness to see his mate there and partially that was why he headed straight home. But the real reason was because he refused to let his mate see the mess he left every where. After all, it wouldn't do for his mate to think he was a slob... even if he sort of was. But hey, the housekeeper didn't come til three days hence and Ioan was not likely to come on such short notice.

Al actually looked a bit put off, but he was simply not too happy about the threat. He didn't bother to comment as he watched Graise leave, he just turned back and seriously wen all the way into the kitchen to start working again. He did however stop by his messenger back to drop the address in there. It was only after that did he get his apron and head back out to the cash register.
It was impossible not to avoid a talk from his co-worker, the nosy Zercan had apparently been trying to hear what happened. Al mentioned a bit of what he did, but left it at that, the simple fact of him being stuck with some guy he just met as a mate. He sort of dreaded going to the guys home, but he had the address, now he couldn't really avoid this.

Graise looked over his condo with a grimace. He had been cleaning for two hours and it still looked messy. How did Ioan do this crap?

Time seemed to past by way too quickly, and before Al knew it he was off from work. "Great." He was muttering to himself when he was taking up his stuff to leave, switching shifts with someone else. Now he had to go see that guy. What were the odds that he would have forgotten by now? Not very high, not with what he was to him, which seemed like nothing to him still, but whatever. He just said good bye to his closest co-working friend then took off to the address he was given. He had no idea how long he spent walking, he just knew when he arrived and knocked on the door sometime later. Maybe he would get lucky though, no one would answer and then he could head home and pretend nothing happened.
