Darius was surprised, but overjoyed at the same time. It showed with his expression, which ended with him smiling brightly. "If its really alright," How could he not jump at the chance to stay with the human, someone he wanted to be as close as possible to. "I promise I won't move anything around." The last thing he wanted to do was make the other fall. "I really don't know how to thank you." He spoke this, moving to approach the other male, then without warning he brought his hands about him in an embrace. Not only wanting to show his appreciation in some manner, but wanting to be closer.

Brayden smiled glad he agreed, he wanted him close. He shrugged at his words, "You don't need to thank me, I just want to help out." When he felt his arms around him he tensed, he hadn't been expecting that. Soon though he leaned into him, taking his warmth and feeling like he belonged in his arms. "I barley know you yet I feel like we are meant to be together," he whispered softly, a bit shy to admit it.

Darius took advantage of how close he was to Brayden, he took in his scent again, then practically shuddered from the pleasurable feeling the briefly passed through him. He was relatively close to purring, but he held back, listening to what Brayden said at random. What should he say? "Would you believe that everyone has a destined mate out there, and that I am yours?" It was the truth, but he wasn't sure what Brayden would think of it. He was aware with how humans flirted, not that different from others, this was not a pick up line though. He was serious, and he hoped Brayden know that.
"Would you be mad if I kissed you" He had just gotten the other to let him stay here, he didn't want to do something to make himself get kicked out.

Brayden was a bit confused at what he was saying. "How would you know that?" he asked softly. "I'm broken I don't deserve a mate as you say." He believed him though and wished he truly was his mate. He blushed at his words then pulled out of his arms, "Please don't," he whispered trying to put distance between them again. He backed up too fast and ended up tripping on the chair he had previously occupied and landed hard on the floor.

How was Darius suppose to explain this? He didn't dare tell him that he was from another planet. "Broken?" Did he mean that he was blind? But how could the human blame himself for that, it was not his fault, he was sure it wasn't. "You aren't..." He tried to speak, but found Brayden moving back from him. Why did he move away? If he kept moving back he would- he saw the other fall back over the chair.
"Brayden!" Darius rushed to the others side, kneeling beside him. "I'm sorry, are you alright?" He wanted to help him, but he didn't know if he should move him. If he was really hurt, perhaps he could take him back to his ship. At some point he wanted to, to take him back to the medibox there, he was sure that would help. Eventually, he had to do so, one way or the other. It wasn't something he was going to argue about.

Brayden had tears of embaressment and hurt in his eyes, he couldn't believe he did that. He wasn't too hurt just brusied, "I'm fine," he whispered blushing deeply. He could feel him near him and sighed, thinking of how to get up, usually if he fell or was sitting on the ground he used Jet to help. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "But I meant what I said...I don't deserve a mate."

How Darius wanted to take the human up and embrace him, why was it he was being so difficult. "I don't believe that." He didn't tell him why. "Why would you not deserve one?" Even if he claimed to have a good reason, he would never believe him. By the time Darius left this planet, he was determined to have Brayden by his side.
Without waiting for a response, Darius scooped the other up in his arms. "Please, allow me to help you." He was not going to take no for an answer here.

Brayden looked to him, "I've hurt everyone who has ever loved me," he whispered. "I...it was my fault my parents got into the accident...my fault they are dead. I don't deserve a mate because I will only bring them pain." He blushed when he picked him up then nodded, "Fine go ahead."

"That wasn't your fault." Whatever happened, unless Brayden stabbed them to death, he wasn't at fault for it. "I don't know, why you would think such a thing, everyone deserves a mate." He wasn't going to be swayed by the humans words. "I don't care what you say, and I would explain what I was talking about earlier, but I don't think you would believe me." Really, who would believe he was an alien. "I might be able to show you, but you would have to feel me afterwards, and I don't know if you would believe it." If he were to change, would Brayden be able to tell, and believe him. Or would he scare him off, and get kicked out.

Brayden moved forward hands going to his face to trace his features, "Tell me," he whispered. "So I can make sure you are real..." He smiled then pulled back slightly, though a hand remained over his. "I want to know who you are."

Darius was hesitant, how could he not be, when this might be the one thing that changed everything. "I am not from this world." That was the first bit of truth he had to reveal. "I am from a planet called Zerca, and I am a Zercan." He wondered how he was taking it so far. "My kind, we can change into a...particular kind of cat-like animal." He could show Brayden, if he wanted him to.

Brayden was confused, and startled he hadn't expected that. "A different planet?" he asked softly. "That's not possible neither is turning into a cat." He was a bit frightened now, he had invited a crazy person into his home.

Darius expected this, the humans confusion, his doubt. "But I can prove it, if you let me." He could show him, he had to show him. The Zercan couldn't stand the thought of being wrongly thought of by the other. "I can change for you, just allow me to." He wasn't just going to change, he had to put him down somewhere first. Why hadn't he already? Well, he was enjoying being this close to him.

Brayden sighed then nodded giving in. "Try it," he whispered. He knew it wouldn't work and then he would just have to make the stranger leave.

"Let me set you down." Darius moved over to the nearest chair with a back and set the younger male down. "I'm going to change now, and once I do I won't be able to talk anymore." Cat's couldn't talk, he was no different. "I'll just touch you with my head, or make some kind of noise, alright." He wanted to let him know what he could do, since he couldn't see him. "I'm going to do so now, alright." He just hoped the dog didn't try to attack him or something, he knew canines did not do well with cats.
Without saying anything, Darius stepped back, stripping himself of hi clothes, just before he changed. It was quick, it took only seconds. One moment he was standing there, the next he was looking very much like an oddly colored panther, one a sort of auburn color. Once he was settled on the ground, on all fours, he did just as he said, moving up to Brayden and rubbing his head against his leg.
