Mark had headed straight into the kitchen to see the two other males in the house cleaning. Actually, one was cleaning, and the other was decorating some...pastries? Surely, the smell of all the baked delights were drifting out of the kitchen. "Was this really necessary?" He didn't see how his mate, and son could make so much in such a short amount of time.
"Well, I suppose mother wanted to be sure." Masaya was finishing up his cleaning, really wanting to exit the kitchen.
"I suppose it seems a bit much, but like Masaya says, I just wanted to be sure. I was hoping I could make something the little boy likes," He seemed sincerely worried about the possibility. "But I just realized that he might not like sugar," It seemed Aroe was quite distressed on the matter, pausing what he was doing, which was now pouring out several different juices, which was definitely overdoing it a bit.
"Aroe," Mark approached his mate, placing the things he had in hand down on the table. "Dearest, you worry too easily sometimes, the boy seems sweet enough, definitely cute, I don't think he'll instantly dislike you because you couldn't automatically figure out his favorite sweet treat to eat," He let out a faint sigh, kissing him on the forehead.
"Look, your a bit of a mess," Mark pointed out some flour stains that settled on his mate's clothes, he just took the time to dust them off.
"Oh, do I need to go upstairs and clean up?" It seemed Aroe was ready to run off and do so.
"No, no, your fine." Mark didn't need his Mate taking off now, mostly because he did look just fine, and he knew Masaya was going to head off to see the two in the living room.
Masaya didn't miss a beat in the kitchen, but the moment he was done he rushed off to the living room, catching sight of the two he had come to care about so dearly. "Jengo, Lel." He hurried over to the two, smiling at them. His parents actually arrived shortly after he did, standing in the doorway.
"Its a pleasure to meet you two," This was Aroe speaking, walking further into the living room with Mark by his side. "I'm Aroe, and this is Mark, we're Masaya's parents." If that wasn't obvious.

Jengo stood and bowed a little. "I'm Jengo and this is my son, Lel. We're very gald to meet you, too."

Masaya could tell right away his mother took a liking to the two here, he wasn't so sure about his father.
Aroe looked over the two the moment he got a bit closer. The man his baby fell for was a very nice catch, so handsome. "Mark," He realized he hadn't spoken, and he looked back at him, frowning. All he received was some muttering, it sounded like he was saying the same, literally, he was saying those words. Aroe could only sigh before turning back to the two invited to his household.
"Lel, sweetie," Aroe decided to talk to the boy now, wanting to tell him about all the treats he had waiting in the kitchen, he hoped he liked sweet things. "Do you like cake, or sugar in genera?" That might have seemed like an odd question to ask, but it would give him his answer.
Masaya knew where this was going, he had come to stop by the couch, so he was standing beside the two, looking towards Jengo. He smiled warmly at him, wondering how things went with his father earlier, it still wasn't looking good on his end.

Lel looked up at Aroe blinking for a few seconds before jumping up and planting a little kiss on his lips. "He's shiny, too."
Jengo just stood there with wide gray eyes, dumbfounded.

Aroe was shocked, looking down at the boy who randomly planted a small kiss on his lips. "Oh..." He raised a hand to his lips, looking a little flustered.
Needless to say, Mark didn't look too happy, quite shocked really, but he didn't look bad.
Masaya was shocked as well, looking from Jengo to Lel, and back again, before repeating the process between his parents.
The first person to make the next sound was Mark, who didn't shout, but merely started to chuckle. "Wow, it seemed he was rather surprised by the whole event, but then he found it amusing. "I don't suppose he usually does that?" Mark spoke to Jengo, wondering how the boy normally was around others. He was curious about the shiny reference.
"How sweet," Aroe finally spoke again, smiling down at the boy, then moving to embrace him. It seemed now he found the action to be rather cute, and he really adored the little boy. "You should come into the kitchen with me," he pulled back from the hug and grabbed the boys hand, since he couldn't just say what he wanted, he thought it easier to show him and be done with it. "I want to show you something," he added that, moving into the kitchen with Lel, as long as he didn't pull away. The moment they walked in, he was see the little party platter he had out with the cupcakes, brownies, and cookies, along with several kinds of juices.

Jengo chuckled nervously. "He's cute, but I'm afraid he doesn't quite get the concept of personal space. He likes pretty things," Jengo explained to his father-in-law.

Aroe stopped in the kitchen right in front of the table. "You never answered my question, so I hope this is alright, but I baked all of this for you, and poured you several drinks." He motioned towards the cakes, and other sweet delights he had made. "I was hoping you would like it, but I'm not sure, if you don't, please tell me now, then I won't try baking for you again." He sincerely hoped he would at least try the food, unless he was allergic.
"Is that it," Mark had wondered about the boys actions, thinking it a bit of a compliment he would kiss his mate, still didn't mean he was happy, but the boy was a kid.
Masaya was relieved, that there was no big fuss over what just happened. "Jengo," He spoke to the other male again, smiling a bit as he suddenly took one of his arms in his. "Father," He spoke to his father, smiling a bit. "I love Jengo," He felt he might give him a hard time, so he wanted him to know he was serious about this.
"How old are you exactly?" That's was all Mark had to say, it seemed he was about to get ready to question him.

Jengo smiled at Masaya before turning to Mark. "I'm 26."

Mark frowned a bit at this news, but noted he wasn't much older then Masaya, just by a few years. He didn't merit that against him, but didn't make it a plus either. "What exactly do you do for a living?" He hadn't seen him that first day he met Masaya, he didn't know how they met exactly. "You just live your son, don't you? Do you get any help with him? Do you have relatives on this planet? Your a Zercan, right? Just a full Zercan, nothing else?" He was quite aware that Masaya was with child, so the baby would end up being three parts that would be part Sensaphorian, part human, and another part Zercan. Overall, he had no problem with it, he just wanted to know what he could expect.
"You plan to have my son move out with you at some point, don't you?" He didn't think he would have him living here. "Can you spare the time to actually spend with my son?" He didn't want him to live with someone that would ignore him, and just use him as a babysitter. Sure, Jengo seemed nice now, but how was he behind closed doors.

Jengo blinked a couple times taking in each question. He took a big breath before answering each. "I'm a handy man and make fairly good money at it. I do just live with my son, and I have my parents, some cousins, and Lel's other grandparents that help me out, and yes I am a full Zercan, though Lel is half that and half Humanoid. As for your last question, my mate and family take priority over work. I will always have time for you son."

Nice. Mark was thinking that single word as he watched Jengo, noting all he said. This didn't mean he had his approval, it just meant he was good at keeping track at what he was saying. From the answers it sounded like Jengo was in a good business, and he had people about him to help, if necessary, but hopefully he was more independent. So, the last person he was with, was Humanoid, most likely from Sensaforia, he wasn't so good with the races. This whole thing was dropped on him a long time ago now, when he had been on Earth, all he knew about was Sensforia, and the few races they encountered here.
"That's good to know," He gave a nod at that, "I don't entirely trust you with my son, but you don't sound like a liar." That was all he was going to say on the matter, now he wondered what Aroe was doing, feeding the child sweets, perhaps. "I'll leave you two alone, for now." Mark moved to head off to the kitchen, going to check on his mate. He imagined he might want to make dinner, so he wouldn't be surprised if he did that. Maybe he could talk to he kid at the same time, hear what he had to say about his Father.
The moment Masaya was alone, he kissed Jengo on the cheek, though he preferred the lips, he was slightly wary about his father catching sight of that, not that he thought it should matter.

Jengo smiled at Masaya and kissed his cheek as well.
Lel had thrown himself at the sweets, eating them one after the other.

"I'm sorry if my father seems hard on you?" Just in case, Masaya thought to say that, smiling a bit.
Aroe was overjoyed, the cute boy was digging into sweets.
"So he likes them," Mark came up to his mates side, seeing him watch the boy with a large smile.
"Oh, how did things go?" Aroe asked, then considered something. "Oh, I should start cooking something, shouldn't I," He hurried off to the fridge, taking out a few things, fortunately he had some meat out already that he had defrosting to cook, it should be done so he could start on something. "Just give me a moment," He seemed in a hurry to cook now, placing pots on the stove.
"Dear, I didn't come here to make you cook," As it seemed he was doing just that, and he came up behind him to stop him, embracing him from behind.
"Oh," Aroe found himself letting go of a few seasonings he had been about to use, leaving them on the counter. "Well, I need to get started, so don't distract me too much,"
"I'll try not to," He did have his son in the other room, he had to mind what was going on there, but he couldn't help doing it a little. Mark kissed Aroe along the neck, then his cheek, and then he settled with nibbling on his ear a bit.
"Mark," His tone was a scolding one, mixed with a bit of moan he tried to suppress. "Don't do that, we're not even alone in the kitchen." The last thing Aroe wanted was to have Lel see his new grandparents making out, although the boy had kissed him in a rather cute manner moments ago, he didn't want him influenced, or shown a bad example. He didn't even know how much he knew about intimate moments.
"You think he's paying attention," Mark sow what Aroe meant, that didn't mean he had to be happy about it. "I'll leave in a bit then," He just wanted to hold him a bit longer, then he'd see how Masaya was doing, which also reminded him. "He seems pretty nice so far, but I don't know..." Obviously he had some doubts, only time would let him solve it.

Unbeknownst to them, Lel had fallowed behiind Mark and was starring at his new grandparents quite intently. Suddenly he piped up.
"I'm going to have a mate one day then I can do things like that with him. All the shiny one's are taken though, so I have to wait."

Aroe jumped a bit when he suddenly heard Lel's voice, Mark just turned to look behind him.
"Oh sweetie," Aroe spoke, suddenly blushing profusely. "I'm sure you will." He wasn't sure what else he could say to that. "Why don't you return to the treats I made for you, or perhaps you would like something else?" He was trying to change the subject, hopefully this would work.
Mark just stood back, looking amused, watching his mate mind the boy, but he still kept a firm hold about his waist. "I imagine you will, and I wonder what your mate will be like." He really wondered, and he hoped he could find out one day.
