Hubert knew that Lucifer was thinking something over, but he didn’t know what. The teen cocked his head thoughtfully to the side, blond curls bouncing. Well, at least he knew for sure that the man was happy again, the emotion wafting through the air life a fine perfume. Hubert grinned up at Lucifer’s similar smile, glad that the other was happy again. He couldn’t help think that the incubus looked very handsome when he smiled so widely.
“That neighborhood?” Hubert asked confusedly. Genuinely not understanding why Lucifer wanted to go back there. “There’s not really a reason to go over that way. All the yummy food is in the opposite direction.” Which was true. Trevor’s neighborhood was an out of the way place. Though it was rich, the houses around there were still being developed so there weren’t many places to eat…which was why Hubert thought Lucifer wanted to go there. Specifically for food.
When Lucifer suddenly kiss him, Hubert blink, the relaxed in Lucifer’s arms. It was a short kiss, like all the others, but it was still so nice. Lucifer’s mouth was so soft and gentle against his own. It made Hubert feel warm to the tips of his toes. He wondered what it would be like really kiss Lucifer. Not some chaste kiss, but something so much more. Hubert vowed to himself he was going to find this out very soon.
Hubert’s entire face lit up at Lucifer’s comment and he smiled more hugely than ever before. “It was fate.” Hubert replied playfully. “I’m lucky that I got to meet you too. I like you Lucifer.” At that, the teen hugged Lucifer closely, taking the in the scent of the man’s hair. It was heady and Hubert loved it.
“Okay.” Hubert said, pulling back with a smile. “Let’s go find something eat.” He grabbed Lucifer’s hand, tangling his fingers with his own again. “What kind of food do you like Lucifer? I know you said anything, but I don’t think you’d really go for something yucky like raw fish, yeah?” Hubert laughed a little, seeming to be back in good spirits, his feelings on his facial features momentarily forgotten now that he was with Lucifer. He led the other out the door, swinging his companions arm gently.
“Don’t worry. It’s not far.” Hubert assured as he began walking down the street. He added, “If you really want to see that neighborhood again, we can go the long way home after we eat, yeah?”

Lucifer was a bit dissapointed that he wouldn't get to see this boy Trevor anytime soon but it was nothing to damper his uplifted spirits. There was always later. Wasn't there? It was what he was thinking as he didn't think to state why he mentioned the rich neighborhood in the first place. Really it wasn't something he wished to share. Seeing it as something he just wanted for himself. Though it sounded a bit selfish when considered that way. He wasn't trying to say it like it was just something he wanted.
He hadn't considered what the boy here wanted. Consideration on the matter hadn't even come to mind and wouldn't anytime soon if at all as he had already come to his decision with all his given reasons for it and that left nothing more to be said on the matter. For the moment he just put what he wanted to do at the back of his mind but still had it ready to consider as soon as he could do something.
The way Hubert's face lit up with how he smiled and all was really quite satisfying to see. Not to say he was aiming for that but he liked seeing that expression displayed upon his features. He looked even cuter then before with it and it was something that could make him smile in return even if just a bit. Though at the moment he was more then happy enough to smile more then that.
Not just with how the mood seem to be with the boy but with everything he said and all his mannerisms. He even came to speak towards his comment on how lucky he was to come across him. Was it fate? He considered it a possibility. Did the boy really think he was lucky to have met him. There he went again saying he liked him. Didn't he say that earlier. Well, he liked him in return. In a simpler manner of hos one perhaps liked an acquaintance or a friend.
Maybe it was something like that. He wasn't quite sure. He hadn't given it much thought. He just knew he was fond of the boy. He wanted to do something for him. He wanted to thank for him. He was willing to go after someone who caused him harm. Should that be enough to tell him what he felt here or the relationship he had with the boy? He wasn't sure. Should it?
Being hugged closely in the manner Hubert had caused his seemingly endless thoughts to cease for a moment. He really took in the youth who he still had his arms about and who in return had come to be so close even before he took action. Besides he had been the one to initiate this closeness. With placing his arms about him from his earlier words. Had he really been about to leave earlier?
It seemed a bit silly now that he thought back to it. He was really going to come to leave the boy here due to what happened earlier. Although he could partially laugh at it now nothing or the major part of it hadn't changed. It was just covered. The subject forgotten. He didn't like that. He wanted to do something about that. It was one of the reasons he wanted to deal with the boy Trevor. That human and all other humans that bothered with Hubert. The boy who seemed quite cute, innocent, and all too kind.
He was too much really. That is thinking about him had him really unable to put everything into words. Did that mean anything? Should it? Perhaps he was thinking about it too much. Well, whether he was or not he didn't care to think about it and momentarily banished the thoughts. He needed to just focus on the boy he was with now in the present time and deal with things as they came up.
Of course it was expected that they would be leaving. sometime soon. Hubert had brought up the question as to whether he still wanted something to eat. He did. But just referred to what he could eat with food. It was nothing more. Though he was nowhere being visibly upset on the matters spoken earlier. With the comment he didn't seem to intend to forget, speaking of the sexual appetite his kind had, he wasn't thinking to mill about on the subjects referring to sex.
Not around the boy or not with the boy. But oh did he still ever tempt him so. Not in any direct way now. Not in some blatantly obvious way. He just spoke of earlier. When he was in nothing but a towel. When he almost caught sight of a region below his waist thought from behind. He was ever so tempted then. Just a bit tempted now. But only in a manner of kissing. Like where he wanted to shower him with kisses. He still wanted to do so. Seeing how cute the boy could be.
He wanted to just keep his arms about him and be down right selfish for moment. Be very blatantly selfish where he stated and showed the boy in what ways he tempted him. To just keep him all to himself where he wouldn't have to think about anyone coming to make him feel bad about his appearence.
That he knew would surely upset the boy and in turn coming to upset him. Whether he wanted to go along with that fact or not. He cared. He did. He normally didn't. Not with beings he didn't intend to stay around for any lengthy amount of time, but he did. How did that happen? He didn't fall for others like that. He didn't fall for anyone. Wait. Did he fall for him? No he couldn't have. No it was impossible. No it- It just made no sense. End of story.
Besides that Lucifer meant a simple liking. Nothing more or less then that. There was no real attachment when he considered falling for someone. No love. None. That was something he didn't have for anyone. What incubus did have that? His parents. Weren't they still together. Yes. That was different. This was him. His older siblings could sympathize with that.
He didn't have people he loved. Well, not in the 'I want to spend the rest of my days with you' but in the 'I like you enough to put up with seeing your face again'. No, that didn't sound right. It was more like 'I like you enough to see you again and want do so more in the future'. That was what he had now, right? Right.
It was the one where he felt what he did now and could say he wanted to do this and that to make sure things went smoothly for him. That was being selfish again though, wasn't it. He wanted to make sure that things did go well but whether anyone was effected never was a bother for him before. He never really cared to do anything because it bothered someone. Well, that was a lie.
There were some things that he did because of that. Where he wasn't entirely selfish. Not like how he was at times. But that was a different situation. He only cared about himself for the most part. Everything he did, most of what he did, if not just half of what he did, was for no one but himself. He wasn't mistaken on that was he?
Who knew him better then himself. Maybe his family? Maybe. He wasn't sure. He didn't even care to think on it. How did he get so off track. Why did it matter? This was far too bothersome. He wouldn't let anything dampen his mood now. He already thought to banish the thoughts that seemed to show any signs of lingering. It wasn't making much sense anyways. There was no point.
The very bothersome thoughts that Lucifer seemed to have were there and then gone. Especially when he felt his hand was taken by the youth who seemed so positively in high spirits. How could he even think to dwell on his thoughts on his overall situation when he saw his smiling face. He already tuned into what was being said and besides knowing they were going to eat he was asked what kind of food he wanted.
Apparently saying he could go for anything didn't sit well with him. Well, it wasn't that it didn't sit well but he mentioned raw fish. He didn't really eat his food raw. Now that sounded like someone one or two of the other races on his planet did. He didn't do that. Raw fish didn't sound very appetizing to him. "I don't imagine I would like it very much." He referred to the raw fish.
"Perhaps something you like." He paused for a moment considering it. "I'd like to try something you'd like, that is perhaps the kind of food I'd like on your planet." He wondered if the boy took it into consideration that the kind of food he could name may not be recognizable to him. "Or were you perhaps talking about how things taste." He was curious to know. If so he could name that bit.
"If so I can say I like just about all except foods that are bitter." He considered it a bit more and thought to add. "Though there are some exceptions I can't really say until I try them." That is he considered the foods he could try on this planet and the foods he tried in the past. At times he thought he might like something but then he didn't.
If he considered it he supposed he mostly ate baked goods. Not just sweet confections but things actually baked. Whether it be a meat product or not but he did like sweet confections quite ab it. Not so much to go crazy about it though. It may be at the top of his list but those foods never really filled one up. Well not without some consequences.
Overeating on such did cause ones stomach to ache if he wasn't mistaken. Well, it was from experience. When he was younger. Not something from anywhere in the present time. He didn't think it different on this planet but he wasn't quite sure what he wanted to eat no so he would go for anything.
Noting that they were leaving now it didn't slip his mind what happened moments ago. Not so much what happened upstairs, though that wouldn't be forgotten, it was just that his clothes... Oh well, he supposed they would be there waiting when they came back. He wasn't leaving anytime soon so that was good. That he would still be here to get them cleaned. He didn't care to borrow clothes anymore. He hoped to wear them over again.
How could he even think so much on it though when he was with this wonder human boy. Well, he was thinking he was human, to some extent, something he hoped to look into later. Though when it came down to it it wasn't going to matter. He was eventually going to leave and then that would be that. He didn't expect to see the boy again and wasn't so sure he would come back to this planet. It all depended on what happened here. During his stay on Earth. One he was once again looking forward to.
It must have been a bonus to go along with the happy mood. The rather pleasant situation that seemed to be about them. That Hubert would possibly let them go through that neighborhood on their return.
"I would appreciate it if we could." Oh he could hardly wait till then. Until he met this Trevor. This human boy who he assumed hurt the youth here in the past and intended to hurt in the future. He would make him pay for it. He would make him suffer. And the thought excited him so. Not that he liked to make others suffer. He just liked to get what he wanted and that was what he really wanted. The only real thing he could to to express his anger on the situation.
And he didn't intend to let anything or anyone stop him on that. He had already decided upon it. He knew exactly what he wanted to do. For now though he would enjoy his time with Hubert. He wished he could kiss him once more. Once, twice and maybe even a third time. Just due to how positive upbeat he was now or how happy really. Even his teal orbs lit up a bit. Showing a bit of mirth as well as some unknown glint linking to the many unsaid words he had with his most recent plan he hoped to set into action upon their return from wherever they were going.
Really he could hardly wait. He would show this Trevor exactly what it was like to be hurt. Perhaps he would change his tune on treating others the way he did or rather just Hubert. Though honestly he wasn't one for life changes, he could care less, he just wanted the boy to suffer and hopefully leave Hubert alone even when he wasn't about anymore. He would have to make sure he didn't forget what he did ever.

“Bitter things, huh?” Hubert queried once they were walking down the sidewalk towards town. “Well, I think that’s pretty easily avoided. Most places don’t serve bitter things on purpose.”
Hubert bounced happily long next to Lucifer, continuing to swing the man’s arm like a child. The day was still a little crisp, but it was starting to get very nice. The sun was finally up and doing a great job of warming everyone outside. Hubert was glad that he was able to walk with Lucifer, but kind of wished it was a further walk into town. He liked holding the other’s hand in his own. It felt so perfect and just so right. Hubert wasn’t sure why he was feeling like this or why Lucifer made him so happy. It was almost like he had known Lucifer his entire life but had forgotten him somehow…Hubert wondered how he had gotten along without knowing Lucifer before.
“I bet you probably think I like sweet things, yeah?” Hubert continued gazing up at Lucifer, watching every look that crossed the man’s face. “But, I don’t like sweet things at all. It makes my head hurt. What I really like is spicy foods. You know, the kind of thing that makes your eyes water and your mouth tingle? I love tasting that. I won‘t introduce you to the horrors of the jalapeno just yet though.” Hubert chattered on for a bit, his good mood making him want to talk. That, and the fact that he was with Lucifer. It was like he had never been upset. That was one thing about the teen. Once he got over something, he didn’t dwell on it at all. He just moved on, telling himself it was just life.
Suddenly though, the teen stopped talking about food and gasped. “Oh no! I left your clothes on the floor didn’t I?” Hubert asked horrified. He usually didn’t do things like that. He never left people’s belongings on the floor. “I was so excited about you staying that I completely forgot about them.” Squeezing Lucifer’s hand, Hubert smiled sheepishly. “I’m hungry though and don’t want to go back. I promise to wash your clothes the second we get home, okay?” Hubert wasn’t really upset about the clothes, he was just worried about what Lucifer might think. Oh, well. If the man really had been put out by it, he would have said something for sure. Right?
Gradually, after a few blocks, the pair came upon the restaurants that were the closest to the neighborhood. Hubert made a beeline for the Country Diner. He liked the place and the menu was larger enough to where he was sure Lucifer would be able to find something he liked. “This place is very nice.” He indicated towards the restaurant. “It’s good and not too expensive. I think you’ll like it.” At that, Hubert led the way into the diner, stilling pulling Lucifer along behind him.
The interior was like most diners, that is, there was a long bar set in the far wall opposite the door with booths situated around it. Hubert smoothed his curls over his right eye just as a perky waitress bound up to them taking them to an empty booth in the left hand corner of the restaurant.
“Isn’t it neato in here?” Hubert asked as he sidled into one side of the circular booth.

Lucifer still had no qualms about what they could eat. He was up for anything except bitter things. He never cared for such no matter what it was. He had to briefly ponder on the possible available foods here. He wasn't sure where to begin. His mind pondered on it briefly but then his focus came to the motions from the youth here. With how Hubert seemed to swing his arms about. It wasn't something he minded. The boy really seemed quite happy so why would he think anything negative on it. There just didn't seemed to be a negative thing to focus on here. The day seemed to be nice enough and he was able to spend time with the boy here who still seemed to be in good spirits. If anything he couldn't help but smile with all that was going on. He didn't think to say anything though or do anything for that matter but to enjoy the moment.
It was unexpected to hear the mention or question of liking sweet things. He actually would think he did so he was surprised to hear he didn't. The boy was so sweet himself he thought it would match. However, here he heard Hubert liked spicy thing. He didn't strike him as a fiery little thing. No, so he wasn't like anything he ate then, as he heard somewhere at some point in time, unless there was a side he had yet to see of the youth. Perhaps that was it. Otherwise he was unsure about that idea. He was curious about the spicy foods but wasn't thinking to dwell on it. If he ever got the chance to try it then he would. Well, that is the spicy food on Earth. It wasn't like he hadn't tried spicy food before. He wasn't leaning towards it as his favorite. It wasn't something he hated either though. Only certain foods were good with being spicy to him. But once again he didn't think much on it.
It wasn't hard to brush off the thoughts of food. Especially when he noted when Hubert gasped and mentioned his clothes. Now he recalled it. Well, he had left it there. If he wasn't mistaken he dropped it when he kissed him. It was almost his own fault in a way. That he had dropped it. If he hadn't kissed him then he would have at least not dropped his clothes. But then he had no regrets towards the kiss he had given. "That's alright." He thought to say this towards his clothes. "Whenever you get the chance to wash them it would be appreciated." He spoke, thinking to accept that he would do it when they came to Hubert's home. It was his home alone though Lucifer was residing in there for the time being. He wasn't thinking to call it a home for himself. It was just with the way the boy worded it he made it sound like that. It was more like a temporary place of residence for him or a temporary home he supposed. One he was very grateful for. Not just for the roof over his head but the boy he was been more then a little kind to him. He had done so much since he first crossed paths with him. More positive then negative things but both he would clearly recall. It wasn't really something to dwell on either though so he brushed the thought aside for the time being.
During their walk towards wherever it was they were going Lucifer let his teal gaze pass over the area they passed by. It really didn't seem like they walked far and it wouldn't be difficult to get back. That is he could easily remember the way they came to get here. It was just something he should make a mental note of or thought he should just in case. He did like to be ready for anything. It was just a brief thought on his mind though as he soon noted it looked like they came across their destination. Hearing that Hubert spoke of it as he pointed it out told him that much. He thought it was a good thing to hear that this place wasn't expensive. That reminded him of the fact he wasn't sure if he would have to pay here or not. He would rather not spend his money if he didn't have to. Though since the subject was not brought up he didn't assume he had to. He wasn't thinking to ask either. He would wait to see what happened once they got inside which was due to happen soon as he found himself being led into the restaurant here.
Once inside Lucifer was quick to look about. The place seemed decent. He wondered if Hubert ate here often. It was a sort of random thought that fit the situation. He was pondering on it for a brief moment until he found they were being shown to a place they could sit by a waitress. He moved to go right along with the boy where he sat at a booth with him. Though he wasn't sure if he should sit right beside him or not. He moved into sit on the opposite side but seeing it did go in a circle he wondered if it mattered. They were just going to sit here and eat, right? It really should matter. He was just left wondering now what they would come to eat here or rather what was available to eat.
"Neato?" Lucifer spoke with a slightly amused look at the description of the place. That was certainly a word he didn't use. "It does appear to be nice." Seeing as how this was the first time he had been here he really couldn't say much. "What do they serve?" It seemed like a reasonable enough question to ask seeing as how he had never been in an Earth restaurant before. He was quite curious as to what he could expect here and he still was looking forward to the food. He didn't see there being anything more to do or say so he said nothing more. He just let his gaze wander about the restaurant seeming to study his surroundings as he was indeed doing.

“Yes, neato.” Hubert confirmed. He watched confusion flit across Lucifer’s mind at the layout of the booth. Chuckling, the teen sidled on over to Lucifer’s side of the table, sitting very close to the man. So close in fact that the line of their bodies were very nearly touching. Hubert sighed sinking into the seat. There. That was much better. He just felt better when he was closer to Lucifer. It was unexplainable and Hubert didn’t try to understand it. Touching Lucifer made him feel good, so he did it.
Picking up one of the plastic menus that the waitress had set down, Hubert unfolded it and propped it up so that both he and Lucifer could look it over. “Usually I only come here with my uncle. I hate eating alone, but you’re here so it’s okay.” The teen moved to compulsively flatten his yellow curls over his eyes, yet again. He was beginning to do it more and more now that he was in public.
“Now, there are loads of things to choose from on here. I think everything is good except the raspberry tarts. They make my uncle sick.” Hubert confided in a low voice. A little louder, he continued to explain the menu, pointing out the breakfast and lunch portion. The Country Diner was very similar to the giant Denny’s chain, save for the fact that it was family owned..
“Okie dokie. I’m going to get the red Jell-O and the fruit salad. And soup. Yeah, soup sounds good.” It seemed Hubert was not very adventurous is his food choices. Still, he smiled at up at Lucifer, nestled cozily against the man’s side. “Get anything you want. You should eat like an American Hero and have a cheeseburger. You might like it.” Hubert added. He laughed a little as he thought of an alien eating a cheeseburger for the first time.
Presently, the waitress came by to take their orders, dropping off glasses of water too. Hubert noticed that she was very pretty in her apron and high pony-tail. He would have smiled at her if she hadn’t been blatantly looking at that certain side of his face curiously. The teen turned a delicate shade of pink and hide his scar completely from view by turning slightly to lean in against Lucifer’s shoulder.
“What can I get you two gentlemen today?” The waitress asked genially, quickly losing interest in Hubert’s face and bringing her attention to Lucifer. Hubert told the girl what he wanted and she absently wrote it down with a vague smile. She was still gazing at Lucifer like he was the most beautiful thing in the world…and he was. Hubert wasn’t sure if he should be jealous or not. He didn’t like feeling jealous, so he merely stayed glued to Lucifer’s side shyly.
“And what I can I get for you sir?” The girl asked of Lucifer, pen poised as if too take down his every word. She leaned over slightly, making sure the man was able to get a very good view of her generous bosom as she waited for his reply.

Lucifer wouldn't think to say it out loud but it was quite nice to have Hubert come beside him. It was hard not to see how he seemed to move over beside him. If he knew that was something alright to do he would have done so himself. He just wasn't quite sure how things worked here. Being the first time he was in an Earth restaurant. But once again it wasn't something to think on so he didn't. He just gave a faint smile at the fact that he had the youth so close to him. If it wasn't for the fact they had come to eat here he just might have placed his arm about him to make sure they really were as close as can be. For now though they seemed close enough as could be so this was fine.
Hopefully there would be no need to guess what was served here. There was no way Lucifer could do that. That is one of the random things that came to mind as he wondered what was served here. However, he was soon told how things apparently worked. That is after Hubert mentioned he came here with his uncle. So he didn't come here by himself. Why did he keep making those motions? The one with his hands covering what he supposed shouldn't be a surprise with his hair. He imagined the boy was self-conscious. If he didn't think to try and not show it he would have frowned. Even with a sudden urge to do so he still felt positive about most of the situation here so his spirits weren't downed by this. He just felt a bit of disappointment and more determined towards what he supposed was a personal goal of his now. To make everyone who made his scar something to make the boy feel bad suffer. It was a brief thought he wasn't going to think on. Though thinking on it for a moment lifted his spirits up just a bit more. It was still something he looked forward to.
There wasn't really time to let his thoughts wander even if he wanted to. It seemed he had many choices here. Too many. Not that he didn't like choices. He loved having many options. But when he didn't know where to start, what was he suppose to do? It was just much easier to go about making choices he was familiar with but he wasn't familiar with anything so he would just have to go with what he thought sounded good or ask about it. He felt he might go with whatever Hubert went with but he understood some of what he wanted to order, or perhaps all if he had the right thing in mind, and he wasn't really in the mood to eat such. Though he could if he wanted to. He was just coming to eat. But apparently he had the option of getting anything he want so why not try something new.
One question that came to mind now was what was a cheeseburger. He was aware that America was a continent and thus a place here on the planet but how would eating one of those make him a hero? Really, he didn't think to dwell on it. He would perhaps go with it as he had nothing else to go on. If there was a chance he would like it then what was there to lose. He just wouldn't try it again if he didn't like it. It was as simple as that. At least he thought it was as simple as that.
Lucifer wasn't quite sure when but a human had come up to where they sat, setting glasses of water upon the table. That had to have been a waitress. A female human that wasn't unpleasant on the eyes but still his mind wasn't thinking to divert from the boy beside him. He couldn't possibly forget him with how close he was either. It wasn't hard to notice where her gaze had fallen as he spared a glance at Hubert. Well, what could he do about that? Seeing that nothing was said he didn't see need to do anything whether or not there was anything to do. Besides the waitress spoke here to both of them for there order. What would he order though? He still wasn't sure. Even after hearing what Hubert ordered. He decided he would go with what he suggested. It was that or try what he ordered and he didn't very much care for that right now.
Thinking over what he wanted to order just a bit longer Lucifer didn't jump to say anything or speak really. He noted at the same time the girl seemed intently set upon minding him and not so much just for the order he was to give. It's what he assumed as he caught a glance at gender endowed features or to be more exact with area it was her chest he noted. This was amusing. He spared a charming smile at her as he looked at the waitress with his teal gaze intently set upon her. More so her facial features then anything else as he merely noted everything else but didn't care for him so he just looked at her face. "I'll just have a...cheeseburger if you don't mind writing that down." He didn't know if she would. He didn't think it mattered. He didn't really care. He just wanted to try that food mentioned by the boy here.
Was there anything else? Lucifer had to ask himself this. He had the chance to get anything else and yet this was the only thing he could think to order. Maybe he should get something sweet to eat as well. He did like sweets but what. It was hard to choose so he felt he probably shouldn't bother to choose. It was with that thought he did indeed leave it at that. Thinking not to say anything more with the female here. He wondered if she expected him to say anything in particular to her. He might have if he was by himself. But he was with Hubert. The young human he was quite fond of as it was and found saying anything to encourage this girl with anything to be something one would do when not really thinking things over. At the moment he refused to do anything that would turn the fairly positive situation here to a negative one. He was enjoying his time with the boy and thus wouldn't think to ruin it for some random human female he doubted he would see again.

The waitress nearly melted when the cute guy with the black hair smiled at her. She giggled while writing down his order. “Alright then. You’re food will be done in a bit. I’ll be back.” She smiled at Lucifer winningly, her bosom brushing against his free shoulder as she reached in to grab the menus. She gave another little giggle and bustled off.
Hubert watched the girl bounce off, not frowning, but thinking. “She…was silly.” Was all the teen said on the matter of the waitress‘ disposition. “You know it was pretty daring of you to order that cheeseburger Lucifer. If you like it I’m gonna have to feed you ice cream next. That’s another favorite kind of food around here. You like sweet things, don’t you?” The blond looked up at his companion again and smiled. He wasn’t particularly fond of ice cream, but he thought that Lucifer should try it at least once. No tourists’ vacation was complete until they had tried ice cream.
“So, do you like Earth Lucifer?” Hubert asked quietly, resting his head against Lucifer’s shoulder contentedly. “I’ve been wondering. Is it very different from the place that you come from…or is it the same? Do all the people look as beautiful as you?” He had been wondering for quite sometime about the planet Lucifer was from. The whole alien from another world thing was so fascinating. It would be amazing to be able to visit other places like that. Hubert liked to travel, but to be able to travel to a different planet? That would be the most incredible thing ever. He remembered that Lucifer had also said that there were other species of aliens. It made him wonder what they looked like too. Where they all as handsome as Lucifer?
There wasn’t much more time for conversation as the food seemed to have been delivered in record time. Hubert had a sneaking suspicion that the waitress had something to do with it. He ignored the girl’s silly giggling and her flashy chest, instead focusing on the food set in front of him. The fruit bowl was filled to the brim with well…fruit. It looked fresh though, so that was good. The soup was wonderfully hot too. Hubert eyed Lucifer’s humongous burger and the crispy fries that sat next to it.
“Those are fries.” Hubert supplied helpfully. “They’re pretty much fried potatoes. Everything on your plate you can eat with your hands.” This was said as he picked up a fork and started to spear at plump grapes. “That burger there is just meat and bread with fun stuff like cheese and pickles. Prolly ketchup too.” Hubert chewed on the sweetness of the fruit, wondering how Lucifer would take to the burger and fries. He watched Lucifer keenly.

Lucifer couldn't deny that he was amused by the human female here. The way she acted after he addressed her really was something. He wondered f all human females were like this. It would have been amusing if that were the case but then it would also be rather dull. Besides he did doubt that was the case here at any point. He didn't really care to think on it though so he brushed the thoughts aside as he saw the waitress was gone.
Now he just looked back at Hubert, coming to mind him, as he heard him speak. What was he going on about? Was he talking about the female? That would make sense if he was. He hadn't considered it but he supposed she was in a way. At least he thought she was amusing thought not necessarily silly as Hubert put it.
Was it really daring to order a cheeseburger? It didn't seem that way to him. He had just wanted to try it and besides that he was going with what Hubert said. It sounded like something worth trying at least once. What was this ice cream mentioned? It had him quite curious on the matter as Hubert had mentioned he had to feed it to him though he didn't think it was meant literally. He just thought it was a must try while one Earth.
Besides it was mentioned that this food was sweet and how could he think to turn that down. He didn't even need to question whether he would like to try that or not if it was sweet. "I do." He gave that simple answer as he looked down at Hubert. He was really fond of sweet things and hadn't considered really trying anything sweet on Earth. This was the perfect chance to try something new and see if there was anything else he could try. Not that he was planning to ask for anything. He was just thinking that perhaps in the future he could try more. It was something to look forward to during his stay so he kept it in mind.
A conversation wasn't something that was expected. So hearing the question about how he liked Earth was unexpected. What did he think of the Earth? He had only been here for less the two days. Had it really been a day though? He wasn't sure. He had to wonder. He had met Hubert and that was about the only pleasant thing to have happened. Although they had a strange meeting. That is when the boy had crashed while avoiding him.
Thinking back on it he actually felt bad. He felt bad. Why was that? It wasn't even his fault! It was that Trevor's fault. Something else he would have to make him pay for. Now he didn't need to think on that anymore. He still had to answer that question. Besides what he thought with meeting the boy here he had his ups and downs. He wasn't sure which more of he had but he supposed not being upset at the moment he had more ups then down.
Though even now he wasn't one hundred percent pleased with the boy he didn't care to think to let anything get in the way. That is, he was determined to have a good time here so he would have a good time and that was that. He wasn't going to let anything down him like earlier.
But still he was upset at the fact things hadn't been taken care of put pushed underneath something to be ignored. Just because it wasn't mentioned didn't mean that it was forgotten. But until this uncle of Hubert's came he wasn't going to delve into that subject again. But that wasn't answering the question asked either.
There really wasn't a chance to speak to answer the question as Lucifer soon noted the food had arrived. He momentarily diverted his gaze her way. He didn't let his gaze linger though as he set his teal gaze upon what he assumed was his food. Was this what he had ordered? It really was quite big. Was it suppose to be like that. He was going to assume it was. For the moment he just looked at it until he heard Hubert speak. So the other things on the plate were fries.
Then this burger was compromised of the parts or food that was stated by the boy. Well, he certainly didn't eat that on his planet. Well, whatever it was made of he was sure he hadn't eaten before. It was more then likely bound to taste different from anything he had ever tried before. Now there seemed to be a moment of silence.
Lucifer didn't speak, as he just looked down at his food. Well, if he was going to try anything why not the fries. With that thought he reached out and picked up one of the french fries on the plate. Now he could have just eaten it right thee and then but he instead looked to examine the fry, turning it this way and that, with an inquisitive look set upon his features.
He hadn't considered that it might have looked strange. He just wasn't thinking to suddenly eat something he knew nothing about. Wouldn't anyone? Not to say he thought he would be poisoned but still. He didn't randomly do things without thinking it over and that was what he had come to do.
It seemed to be a few seconds later when Lucifer actually moved the french fry towards his mouth where he came to now part his lips and take a bite of it. There was an automatic taste to take note of even before he started chewing. It didn't taste bad so far. He chewed it thoughtfully, which meant he was thinking on the taste, before he went ahead and came to swallow the bitten off portion of the fry he had in his mouth.
After he had actually swallowed it he came to a sudden conclusion. This tasted good. He was glad he tried it. With that thought in mind he turned to look at Hubert with a smile. "Well, so far this taste good." He thought it obvious he referred to the french fry yet. He wasn't so sure about trying the burger yet but he had ordered so he had to try it. He just didn't imagine that it would like this. Not that he thought it looked bad. It was just he already had no idea what to expect.
Considering the burger he turned to look directly down at it and went ahead to finish the rest of the fry he had already come to but off a piece of. Now seemed like a good time to try the burger or did he want to save it for last. He wasn't thinking to go and do that so once the fry was gone he reached out to pick up the burger.
Once again Lucifer didn't go off to bite the food just like that. He had his mind focused on studying it for the time being. At the moment his mind had forgotten the question asked. Not that he wasn't thinking to answer. It was just he was engrossed at the moment in this burger.
"You say this tastes good?" He seemed to question it as he looked down at and then towards Hubert. He heard what he said it was made of and wondered if he would like all that was inside of it. He knew he hadn't tried anything on the inside either. The fact still remained that this was his first time on Earth and the first time he ever came to try any Earthen food.
Thinking on eating it as he was had him quite curious as to what to expect of the taste. He considered waiting for an answer but hadn't he technically been given it already. The boy wouldn't suggest anything that tasted bad, right? Of course now. He hoped not. So without further hesitation, it was what he was doing, he went ahead and took a bite out for the burger. It wasn't a big one. Not knowing what to expect of the taste he wasn't thinking to try and swallow the thing.
No it was far too big. Well, not to say he hadn't eaten anything big before. Actually not eat in the very sense of the word. He had his mouth on some big...things before. Just nothing that was edible and he had to sink his teeth through. Which wasn't something he would ever think to mention out loud as the subject it leaned towards was far too obvious to him and not meant to be mentioned anyways.
Lucifer found after taking the first bit he placed the burger back on the plate. The burger didn't taste bad. It tasted pretty good so far. He didn't think he bit everything inside of it though since he bite wasn't big to any extent. But he was willing to eat a bit more. There was a moment where he just chewed and studied the taste of the food he had in his mouth.
"It tastes pretty good." That was his only comment as he still looked down at the burger but then looked towards Hubert with another smile set upon his features. He wondered what Hubert's food tasted like. He just briefly wondered. He wasn't thinking to ask and try it though he did wonder what the Earth food tasted like. He would just stick with the food he had in front of him.

Delighted. That was the look that spread across Hubert’s face as he watched Luicfer take the first bite of that fry. He had been watching the other intently for a reaction, the smile on his face growing steadily larger upon seeing Lucifer’s reaction to said fry. His bites were so small and precise. Hubert just knew that the man was sitting there trying to think if the taste of was good or not. The teen had no idea that it could be so amusing to watch an alien try new food.
“I’m glad you like it.” Hubert replied as he tried not to laugh. Lucifer just seemed so suspicious of the food, almost like it would suddenly explode or something. Hubert stifled another laugh as he continued to watch Lucifer keenly. He couldn’t wait to see his reaction to the burger, waiting with something akin to anticipation as he looked on. Granted the burger was big and probably more than a little strange, but it was good. That was for sure. Hubert nodded encouragingly when Lucifer asked aloud the question to which he had been thinking the answer.
He was trying not to laugh, he was really trying not to laugh. Hubert covered his mouth with his hands, but giggles still escaped from between his fingers. He knew he shouldn’t be laughing at Lucifer, but he just couldn’t help it! It was just so funny to watch the other examine the food so carefully. Granted, the food was new to him, but still. Hubert was about to explode into fits of laughter, but he managed to contain himself long enough for Lucifer to take that first bite. When the man had finally chewed and swallowed, stating it was good, Hubert just couldn’t help himself anymore. He burst out laughing, clutching at his sides as he melted into fits of giggling.
“Yeah?” He asked Lucifer between chortles. Hubert returned Lucifer’s smile ten fold, still laughing. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to laugh at you. It was just so funny to watch!” Another wayward giggle escaped. “I’m glad you liked it. I thought for a second you’d make a grossed out face.” Obviously not being a creature of self control, Hubert leaned in and kissed Lucifer delicately on the cheek. He looked at the man merrily, happy to be with him. Lucifer was starting to become someone that Hubert really adored. There was no reason for it. He just did. Even though he had only known Lucifer for barely a day, he found that he enjoyed the man's company immensely. The feelings he felt for Lucifer were akin to those that he had for his uncle...yet, there was something distinctly different about them that Hubert couldn't place. He attributed the difference to the way his stomach dropped out from him every time Lucifer smiled. His uncle certainly didn't effect his stomach in the least.
It had not escaped Hubert’s notice when Lucifer had thought fleetingly about the other food. Smiling mischievously, he grabbed his bowl of red Jell-O and scooted it in front of Lucifer. The confection wiggled as if it had been through a major earthquake.
“Try this now.” Hubert commanded playfully. “It’s soft, a little sweet, and cold. And,” Hubert spooned some of the Jell-O into his own mouth, as if demonstrating it was not the brain matter it pretended to be. “it’s very yummy.” He tucked the spoon back into the soft mound of red, waiting to see if Lucifer really picked it up the spoon.

Lucifer wasn't sure what to think when he heard Hubert suddenly start to laugh. What was that about. He had just finished trying everything at least once. Was that funny? Or was it that he stated it tasted good? He wasn't sure. It did taste good. That couldn't have been a bad thing. But he didn't see it as something that was funny either. He just found himself raising a brow for a brief moment as he looked at the giggling youth beside him.
Regardless, of what he was laughing at, something he had done apparently, he found his fits of laughter to be cute. Or rather in general he liked his laughter. It would be nice to hear it again in the future but he preferred it not be directed towards him. Hopefully that could be avoided in the future as he didn't find himself being the type to be funny.
It was also cute to see how much Hubert smiled in return to his. Though he was still laughing for whatever reason it was. He soon found out he was indeed being laughed at. How was it funny to watch him eat. He briefly spared a glance at the food set before him, considering how it might have looked, before looking back to the boy beside him. If he had made a grossed face, as Hubert put it, would that have made him laugh more?
Well, he was no one to make others laugh but it was a relatively nice thought to know he could amuse the boy here by just eating something he never had before. He wasn't so amused that it appeared he looked funny trying the food but he was happy with the fact he could make the boy smile.
It seemed he didn't care as much as he thought he would on whether or not he was being laughed at which he had been at the moment. He was considering what he looked like eating once more when he felt a sudden kiss upon his cheek It was unexpected but all the same he smiled at Hubert afterwards.
"I'm glad I had this chance to try it." He spoke, merely making a comment on the fact that he might have missed this chance to eat this kind of food here. Was there anything more to say on that? He didn't think so. So he didn't think to add anything more on that. He just considered eating the rest of his food.
Now Lucifer might have gone to eat the food he had ordered however he found he was surprised at the red stuff placed in front of him. That is that he suddenly saw this jiggle red stuff pushed in front of him by the youth beside him. He raised a brow at it, looking at it somewhat strangely, he had nod no idea what it was. Though he had a good idea.
Out of all the things the boy said he would order this one had to fall under the only one he wasn't so familiar with. That being the Jell-O as he knew what soup and salad was. Why did he push it in front of him. He might have asked but he found he received an explanation towards the youths actions shortly after.
He almost asked if it was safe to eat. Looking down at it still like it might do something. He was really studying it though. More so after hearing what Hubert said to describe it. He assumed that it tasted good. It sounded like it did. He might have thought to ask that but then he saw the boy try a spoon full. He looked at him wondering if it was really alright to eat. Not that he wasn't just told he couldn't eat it but if it was edible as said.
Seeing Hubert actually seemed to consume it answered that question. Then he heard that it did indeed taste good or that was what he got from it tasting yummy. Without much more hesitation Lucifer moved his hand to take up the spoon and filled it with the jiggling red stuff before simply looking at it once more. He raised the spoon up for a moment, just looking at it for a few seconds, before he finally placed it in his mouth. It was soft, cold, and it did taste a little sweet. It was just as Hubert had described.
Perhaps he could eat this. No, he was sure he could. But then he recalled it wasn't his. It was the boy's here. With that thought he already removed the spoon from his mouth with the Jell-O having been eaten. "That did taste good." He spoke with a smile as he placed the spoon back amongst the soft red stuff. "I thank you for letting me try it." That was all it was. He was trying it. He still had the other stuff to eat here so he didn't need to think about eating anything else for awhile yet.
There was a moment of silent on Lucifer's part as he considered something. That is. He was considering what to say next and he just so happened to remember the previous question. "I didn't answer your earlier question did I?" It was an unnecessary question to ask which he already knew the answer to.
"Did you still want to know?" He thought he might as well go onto answer it but there was no point in saying anything if he didn't care. But then again if he wanted to say something then he would say it. Not like it was offensive or anything of the sort.
"I haven't been hear long enough to really say I like anything but I know for sure that there's one thing I really like here that has made me like this planet a bit." He wondered if he should go on to say anymore. He supposed it couldn't hurt.
"Without you I don't think I would have liked this planet very much." He would hope the boy could connect what he referred to at first and the fact he had stated what he had. There wasn't much more to say on it then that unless Hubert had more he wanted to know. He really didn't mind being asked questions. As long as it was nothing he didn't want anyone else to hear.
Briefly Lucifer let his teal gaze wander about the restaurant. It was a bit of a random motion but he just let his eyes wander about a bit. He raised his free arm for a moment to brush aside a few strands of midnight black hair from his face. He was reminded at the time that his hair simply hung about his shoulders, framing his face a bit, and down his back, being loose and all. It slipped his mind to tie it back.
But then it hadn't been a problem so he left it alone. It was just a moment he realized it. His mind was really focused on his surroundings as he looked. His main focus really would always be on the boy beside him though. But as he looked about he caught sight of that waitress from before. The one that had taken their order. It seemed she had just dropped off an order at another table and looked at him from across the room.
He could have been mistaken but then she smiled as he set his gaze on her and gave a wink. He wondered though if he was mistaken. Well, either way he gave a smile but then directed his gaze back towards his food. He was thinking to eat still. He only smiled before due to the fact he found she was quite amusing to some extent. He briefly wondered if he could lead her on for a bit. Just to amuse himself though. But then that didn't seem appropriate.
With Hubert being here. Then it seemed thoughtless. He wouldn't mind her if she didn't fall into his line of sight. Not that he couldn't look away. He just couldn't ignore anyone if they tried to get in his line of view. But he didn't care to think on it. He already came to take up a french fry thinking to remind himself exactly how it tasted with the fact he had eaten a bite of the burger and then the Jell-O.
All these different tastes didn't sit well in his mouth together. That is Jell-O and Burger, as that was the last taste he had in his mouth, wasn't something he thought to eat together. He would need a drink or something. Perhaps the water. But for now he just ate the french fry he had picked up. He wasn't thinking to let the food go to waste so why not.

Hubert clapped his hands excitedly as if to encore Lucifer’s Jell-O eating performance. “I’m glad that you liked it.” Was the sincere reply. “You can have more if you like. I can’t eat it all.” Which was true. Hubert usually didn’t eat that much to begin with. He always ate very light things like the fruit and soup showed he did. For some reason he was never really that hungry and most times forgot to eat anything at all. If Lucifer hadn’t been around, Hubert doubted he would have bothered with food. His uncle was always trying to stuff something in his mouth, but the teen just couldn’t help his habits.
Thinking on his uncle made a few questions rush back into his brain. He had thought he had successfully forgotten about them, but apparently not. Hubert knew that he shouldn’t question his uncle’s origins…but it was just too hard not to. What with Lucifer showing up claiming to be an alien and everything. It made him wonder why his uncle really was blue. Was it really a syndrome or something else? Hubert frowned suddenly, pressing closer to Lucifer for comfort, wrapping an arm across the man‘s waist. What if…what if his uncle was an alien? What evidence proved that he wasn’t? The man was blue for goodness sake! Who was Hubert to say if his uncle was or was not an alien? His parents had died when he was younger, so he didn’t remember them very well. Uncle Joshua was his father’s brother and if Uncle could be an alien then that meant…
Oh, God.
Hubert’s self realization was interrupted by Lucifer’s deep voice. “Oh! Yes, I would still like to know. You can tell me later though when we’re alone in case you don’t want someone over-hearing.” An image of mass pandemonium from the mentioning of aliens flitted across Hubert’s mind. The teen smiled suddenly though at the mention of why Lucifer was enjoying his stay. “I’m glad I can help you like it.” Hubert added with a blush. “I’m glad you decided to even come at all too. I would never have gotten to meet you otherwise.”
The warm line of Lucifer’s body comforted Hubert as he began to slowly eat the food that he had order. He was still pressed very close to the Incubus in a obviously display of encroaching in the other’s space, but he had at least removed his wayward arm. Hubert didn’t care though that he was close though. He liked touching Lucifer and he wasn’t going to move unless the other said something against it. The blond sighed as he scooped that last spoonful of tomato soup into his mouth, thinking very difficult thoughts
“Lucifer,” The teen asked suddenly. He was determined to see what Lucifer thought of his uncle. He was an alien himself after all so wouldn’t he be able to recognize another one? “I wanted to ask you, do you think that my uncle could be…could be like you? I’ve been--” Hubert’s hesitant question was cut off as the waitress came bounding up.
The girl was completely ignoring Hubert now, her focus totally on Lucifer’s good looks. “I have you’re check all ready to go, but please, stay as long you like.” She made the last bit of her sentence low and a little seductive as she slide the check next to Lucifer’s elbow. At the top of the slip of paper, something was scribbled in ink. Hubert leaned a little across Lucifer to get a closer look at the check. He wrinkled his nose at the sight of the girl’s name and phone number next to a little heart. Yuck, he thought. This girl was crazy. Hubert tried to frown, but it came out as more of a pout. He was shocked at what the girl did next though.
“The Country Diner appreciates your business sirs.” By “sirs” she meant Lucifer by the obvious way that she laid her hand on his upper arm and squeezed gently. Was she checking for muscles or something? Hubert wasn’t sure. Curiously, he placed his hand on Lucifer’s other arm, discreetly, and copied the girl. Where the girl smiled at her actions and walked away, hips swinging, Hubert blushed. Lucifer did feel very solid. Hubert had thought he would be after remembering he had seen the other shirtless. Hubert blushed harder, nearly buzzing in his embarrassment.

Lucifer wasn't thinking to eat more of the Jell-O but he found Hubert came to offer him some more. Were they to share then? Was he to eat from the same spoon as him again. Doing so was sort of like an indirect kiss. An indirect sort of intimate kiss. That is that the spoon had been in the boy's mouth then it went in his. A kiss was like that except direct with ones lips touching the other. Thus making it an indirect kiss.
But it was perhaps a rather silly thought to consider now. It wasn't something he focused on. It was sort of an absent minded thought that lingered a bit but then was gone. It did however tempt him to kiss the boy. However with their current position he would wait until they left or at least until he could properly turn and give him a chaste kiss. That was the only kind of kiss he was willing to give him. That being with the fact that with what happened earlier, with the comment he still remembered spoken towards what he was, he just didn't care to go near there again. All sexual references spoken out loud would be dropped and his needs would be kept to himself and that was that one that subject.
Now there wasn't really anything to mind here but the food. He just one more thing to eat here so he should really not let the food get clod. Well, the food that didn't come cold from the start. Of course Lucifer reached for another french fry now eating it at a fair speed. He wasn't rushing to eat it all. He was actually savoring the taste he got from the food he planed inside his mouth.
Though he already had a good idea of what it tasted like in his mind and he could have gobbled it down he didn't know when he would eat this food again so he took his time. Just not in a way that was extremely slow. There was a moment that Lucifer felt the youth beside him press up against him but he did nothing more then spare a glance at him before looking back at the food placed before him. He thought nothing of it. Especially when nothing was said. He just focused on eating at the moment. Not really thinking to say anything. He just considered eating the Jell-O again instead of jumping to eat all the french fries.
Though Lucifer considered to just focus on eating that didn't mean he didn't notice anything else. He heard when Hubert spoke. He acknowledged that the boy wanted to still know. If anything more needed to be said that he hadn't then he would say it later. He was glad to see that his words made the boy smile. He seemed to say he was glad he had come here. Well, he was glad he had come though things hadn't quite turned out as he had originally hoped.
That being that he was expecting things to be a bit different though not to say he was expecting anything exactly when he first arrived. Was there something to say to that? He wondered. He didn't really have much to say at the moment still. He was considering what more to say when he suddenly heard the youth speak again. The boy had his attention. He had his teal gaze upon him. But before he could really acknowledge what he was trying to say he found a familiar face approaching. That human female that was a waitress.
What did she want now? It was a question that came to mind as Lucifer looked up at her. He found soon enough it seemed her reasons for coming was to drop off the check. He found his gaze momentarily leaving the female to look at the check she left at his elbow.
He briefly noted there was something else on it. He didn't let his gaze rest on it long enough to read it though. He was soon looking back up at the waitress. It was hard not to when he heard her speak. Then happened to feel her hand laid on his upper arm where he felt her squeeze on it. What was that about? Did she want to know what was under there? At any other time he might have come to oblige.
However, if she wanted anything with him then she was unfortunately late. He still did not intend to succumb to the needs of his race. Although the female may look physically appealing he still had all his liking towards the boy beside him. Even if he told himself he would completely avoid considering him in any way that tempted him to have impure thoughts. That would be hard.
He already felt tempted earlier. But he was sure he could manage. If things got too difficult he would just go off on his own. Surely he could manage by the time it was time to go. He hoped so. It was best not to doubt it.
Now to deal with the girl. Well, he didn't have to do anything. He found she left shortly after leaving in a manner that he could imagine would attract any older males eyes. Or any one that had an interest in the opposite sex or females basically. He however wasn't very impressed. He had seen more attractive females. It was almost a shame he couldn't have done anything here.
But then that was the way he did things that brought that up. He usually or was rarely with another person. Being with one now, one he cared about to some extent, he didn't dare do anything. Already he brushed aside the thoughts that lead to the subject. He just came to look down at the check now noticing the number. Well, that really was amusing wasn't it.
"My if I'm not mistaken she seemed a little infatuated with me." He wasn't oblivious to that fact though it sounded like he was. "But I'm far from being the prize in this seat here." He said without saying that the one here to cherish or notice was Hubert and not himself. Though he would imagine it was better the boy hadn't been. He wouldn't have liked it and with how the boy wash e doubted he would have liked it himself.
"Now you were saying something earlier?" It was something that came to mind suddenly as Lucifer briefly brushed aside his thoughts on the female that came. He wondered very briefly what he would do with the number given. He wasn't really thinking to call. Though he could see that making the girls day. It was unfortunate, not really, that he couldn't call her. But surely one with her figure could find another. He didn't think on it anymore though. He didn't care.
By the time he left here he would have completely forgotten about her. But he didn't think on that anymore. He was waiting to hear what Hubert had to say. He already set his teal gaze back upon the youth with a curious look set upon his features that should have clearly said he was curious to know. It was why he asked after all. Then he could continue to eat or perhaps he could eat as they spoke. The again if he had to talk he didn't care to have food in his mouth. He would wait.
There was still quite a bit to eat. It was something that Lucifer couldn't help but noticed. He knew he was hungry but now that he considered it a bit he wasn't that hungry. That is not enough to eat a major meal. He could eat all he ordered, that wasn't a problem, he was also hungry for something else that wasn't served here. That all to get would have made him quite hungry but it was for different things. But that went on a thought he tried not to have now.
Not just now but during his stay here. He had to occupy his thoughts with something else. Perhaps he could think of Hubert.... No, he wanted to, but he couldn't. That would make things worse. Instead he found his thoughts were better placed on how he would help the boy here or rather how he would help himself.
He was still looking forward to leaving where he would get to see that Trevor that messed with Hubert. That was something different. A different subject entirely. Something not about sex. The subject he didn't need to think on. That helped. When he got his hands on that boy he would make him regret everything he had done to the youth here at any point in time in the past and whatever he thought to do in the future.

“Infatuated. Yeah.” Hubert said trying the word out. “She did seem to really like you.” The teen didn’t really understand what Lucifer meant about prizes and stuff though. It confused him. “Prize?” He queried innocently, but then cuddled closer to Lucifer. “But you’re mine. She can’t have you.” The teen didn’t stop to think how possessive his words sounded. It was just the idea of Lucifer being with anyone else in that way didn’t sit well with him. He knew he couldn’t possibly sate the Incubus’ hunger himself, but Lucifer was his friend and he didn’t want to share him.
Hubert ducked his head at Lucifer’s question, clutching at the man’s arm. “My uncle.” He started again. “Do you think he--I mean you mentioned other races, so I thought…I thought maybe you knew something I didn’t.” It wasn’t really a straightforward question, but Hubert found he really couldn’t talk more on the subject. The very idea of his uncle being an alien was downright frightening. Why his uncle would never mention such an important thing was beyond Hubert. It would have been helpful to know that the emotions he was feeling and the thoughts he was hearing were actually very normal. If he, Hubert were of another race, then maybe he wouldn’t have felt like such a freak knowing that his abilities were just something natural.
The hold Hubert had on Lucifer’s arm was turning into a vice-grip as the teen thought furiously of what in the world his uncle could be and what he, himself, was also. It was all very terrifying to say the least and Hubert didn’t like the thoughts he was having. It wasn’t the idea of being an alien that frightened him. No, that would actually make some sense…but he couldn’t believe his uncle had virtually lied to him. That was the part that was scary. If his uncle really was blue for a reason, then Hubert had been living a huge lie his entire life. The thought didn’t sit well with him.
As he waited for Lucifer’s life-changing reply, Hubert reached into his back pocket and extracted a twenty dollar bill, throwing it on top of the check. There. That covered the meal. The teen then reached for one of Lucifer’s fries, chewing on it as he cuddled more cozily against the other.

Lucifer couldn't help but think that Hubert was quite cute with how he seemed clueless s to what eh was referring to. That was fine though. He didn't think to go into detail. There wasn't any need to. It wasn't that important. At the moment he just considered what was said next. It was really even cuter to heard what the boy said.
He sounded so possessive! That was cute in itself. He had to wonder if he knew he was being possessive. He wondered if he knew he was being cute. He doubted he did. But that was fine as well. It was moments like this he found he really cherished being with the boy. No matter what he was. He thought he was human but with everything in the past that he was told he had to question that bit.
It seemed whatever the boy wanted to say was something he was touchy on. Not literally touchy or perhaps he was. He did clutch onto his arms. He wasn't expecting to hear about his uncle. He was silent now as he listened intently to the youth as he went on. Mentioning what sounded like a question but then just went on to comment or make a statement. He was asking him something here. It seemed he was inquiring about his uncle.
But why now? It was a question he wondered for a moment but didn't think to dwell on. Most certainly not. That wouldn't answer his question. What was he suppose to say though. He didn't exactly have a firm statement. He had fact though or perhaps opinions that lead to a theory but then should he mention it. He supposed he would. He was asked about it. He didn't think to hide that bit from the boy. It wasn't like he was asking a secret about him. It was more like he wanted to know more about himself and his family. Though it wasn't really his place to state such. If anything it was his uncle's own fault if anything he stated was a fact.
"I have a theory." It was the first thing Lucifer came to say as he decided to say what he had on his mind towards what the boy seemed to want to know. "Just a theory mind you, I can't be sure of anything, but I know of other races, seen them in person and I do believe your uncle is one and I know exactly what he is." This was what he thought he was or rather what he was sure he was if he was from another world other then Earth.
Then again for all he knew the man could have been born on this planet but that did not change that he had to have had parents from the world he was thinking of. "Your uncle, he looks like a Sensaforian." He stated this with his teal gaze set upon the boy. "I know a Sensaforian when I see one so I was quite surprised to see one here." He really still found it hard to believe. With their colors he didn't think they could blend in but apparently it had been done.
"You see Ive been to the planet before and I'm quite fond of the race." He supposed he didn't need to add that last part. It was personal information or a personal preference in his case. It was best to move on quickly. "All Sensaforian's have only one color to their eyes and that is the exact same color your uncle have, a color one of your eyes happen to be as well." That had him wondering something. Something he wondered if he should mention or touch on but then he thought not to. He was just asked about his uncle. He would stick to him.
"No human has that eye color that I know of." Lucifer was fairly sure no human had that color at all. But he didn't know many humans. Still he had his doubts any human naturally shared that eye color.
"It's natural for a Sensaforian to also have what you told me you can do." That he spoke in a bit of a lowered tone so only the boy could hear. He didn't want anyone else to hear in case they thought something wrong. It was only because he was sure that Hubert wouldn't want anyone to know. But the fact of the matter to that as well was even if he was heard no one would know what they spoke of. Still better safe then sorry, right? Of course.
He didn't take chances when he thought he was dealing with something important and this was something important. More so for the boy then to him, it didn't matter to him personally at all, and thus it somehow became important to him.
"And that's pretty much it, well besides the fact that people of that race tend to differ in all sorts of colors that tint there skin, that would be it." He really wasn't sure if there was much else to say. He had come to say the basic part of what there was to say on the matter. He looked forward to seeing this uncle of Hubert's so he could see whether this theory of his was correct. Then he would also know whether the boy was part Sensaforian or not. He had to be. With his assumption on this uncle what else could he think.
It wasn't something he thought would effect his stay here. Although he thought things might be easier if he could find someone from off this world. But not he wondered if that would be better. He wasn't sure how this uncle would react to him if he was a Sensaforian.
He was well aware that they certainly didn't come searching for his kind or those from his planet in general. But that didn't stop those from his planet going to find them. Really, Sensaforian's were ever so wonderful. At least he was fond of them. But that was what he liked. No need to state that out loud though he may have already done so.
Now what should he do? Lucifer asked himself this question as he wondered if what he said was really the best thing for him to do. Not only had he stopped eating for the moment but he could see Hubert had as well. Had this really been something that bothered him? It seemed so to him. It was impossible to miss. But why?
At the moment he really did wish he could read minds or something of the sort. To be an empath would have been nice s well but then again he was fine with what he was. Regardless of the draw backs that came with it. But then it seemed no one was perfect. Though he would normally say otherwise if he was asked out loud. He knew every race had some negative aspect and he was aware of his own but he didn't think on it.
Like he wasn't going to think on it now. He just would have liked to know what the boy was thinking. He would have liked to ask. Perhaps he would. "Tell, me what's on your mind?" It was an innocent enough question to ask. He wouldn't know if the boy spoke the truth or not on anything unless he gave some sort of visible sign when he lied. He just wanted to hear whatever Hubert had to say. That wasn't asking for too much, was it?

“I see.” Hubert replied quietly. He licked his lower lip nervously at what Lucifer had said. The other wasn’t lying, that was for sure. Hubert almost wished he was. The Incubus really believed that his uncle could really be this…this Sensaphorian creature. It made sense though. It answered why his uncle was blue and why he could pick up on people’s emotions. So he was an alien. Of course he would have to wait for his uncle’s say on the matter first, but deep down, Hubert believed that what Lucifer said was true. His uncle was a blue alien from a different planet and so, apparently was he. The news honestly didn’t come as a huge shock to the boy. He had had his share of suspicions about himself and his uncle for sometime. It was just he hadn’t voiced his questions until now. Well, at least he wasn’t as big a freak as he had originally thought.
The talk of aliens and other planets led to some other thoughts. Who were his parents? What were they like? Were they aliens too? Hubert desperately wanted these particular questions also. He had tired asking his uncle about his parents before, but he had always gotten very gruff, brushing off the queries. Hubert knew that it upset his uncle to talk of his brother, so Hubert had learned not to talk about his parents at all. He had also learned not to talk about his scar. The only thing his uncle had told him about that was that he had gotten it in a car crash. The very same crash that apparently killed his parents.
Hubert wasn’t sure what to believe now.
The teen was jolted out of his reverie by Lucifer’s next question. What was on his mind? Well, loads of things at the moment. “My uncle…and my parents mostly.” Hubert finally said. “If my uncle is apparently from this Sensatizing place or whatever, were my parents from there too.” A little more quietly, barely more than a whisper, Hubert added, “I’m thinking about my scar too. How I got it really. I’ve thought a lot on it and…I have another question for you Lucifer.”
Hubert look up at the other, steeling himself for something that he had never done before. He was going to let Lucifer see his scar completely, and touch it. He trusted Lucifer enough now to allow him that. Looking around a bit nervously, Hubert saw that most of the diner’s tables were now empty and that the waitress was nowhere to be seen. The booth was secluded enough that Hubert felt safe doing what he was about to do.
“I was told that I got my scar from a car accident…but it’s shaped funny.” Gulping, Hubert daringly brushed back his hair from over his black eye, exposing his scar fully to Lucifer. The scars really were something to see. They were raised marks, cut diagonally over Hubert’s eye, almost like welts. The skin around the raised area was puckered and discolored, running from the top of Hubert hairline to right over his cheek bone in uneven lines. It was no wondered why people were drawn to something so…grotesque.
“It looks like claw mark doesn’t it? Like something tried to rip out my eye, not with a knife or metal, but with nails.” Hubert sill whispered as he brought his left hand up, curled in a claw-like motion, to pantomime slashing across his face. “Tell me Lucifer. Are there any creatures that could do such a thing?” Hubert wasn’t sure if there was, but he was feeling brave and Lucifer seemed to know a fair deal on other races. Even as a child he always felt that he couldn’t have possible gotten his injury from a car accident, even a horrible one. He had spent hours in front of the mirror, thinking about what could have caused him such a wound.
