Sarandon glared at Ashi. "Really, couldn't you at least behave like a mature adult?" he chided. "Come here and sit down. I can't take my eyes off you for a second, can I? Matty, go and help the poor man on the floor..."
The boy got up, going to see the aching Zercan. He knelt next to him, reaching out to touch Vizeses' face. "Can I help you, sir?"

“What? You think I’m going to welcome the bastard with open arms after his attempted murder?” Ashi said rolling his eyes. And it’s not the only thing the Zercan’s done. When he was trying to land on Earth, he somehow found out it’s a Parisdion ship and attacked it, making it crash to the ground. Without his ship and his clothes, technology, and all the other stuff he’d brought aboard, he had to go into the nearest town, which wasn’t that near, and steal new clothes, food, and find some parts for his ship. When he was finally able to fix his ship, Vizeses found him and started attacking him, again. It went on like this for awhile until he reached this place, finally losing him. This was supposed to be his vacation or at least a place to relax but apparently, the Zercan had other plans. Of course, he couldn’t say anything about the previous. “And I’ll start acting like a ‘mature adult’ when that fucking cat stops trying to ruin my life,” he spat.
Ashi fell into his seat, smirking at Sarandon. “Can’t keep your eyes off me eh?” he repeated with a brow raised. “Never knew you went that way.”
Vizeses looked up when he heard footsteps coming and a hand on his face. Accepting it to be the Parisdion coming back to taunt him, he growled and put a scowl on his but it soon melt into a soft smile when he saw the human’s face. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you. I though you were that ba…I mean, uh…bad…guy,” he said, clearing his throat. “And it’s okay. I’ll be fine but I would deeply appreciate it if you got me some ice.”

Sarandon blushed, but put a gentle hand back on the Parisdion's arm. "Then be the bigger man. He won't hurt you here, so try to forgive and forget for a little bit." He tried not to answer the second comment, still blushing. His mother didn't seem to notice when she came in with the meal. Sarandon perked up, looking hungry.
The boy nodded, going to get the zercan a cold-pack. "Will this do?" he asked gently, sitting down next to the Vizeses again. Don't worry, he won't hurt you again. My big brother's gonna keep a better eye on him. And I'll stay with you."

Ashi’s smirk grew when he saw the boy turn red. So he was right? Well, this makes things a lot more interesting. “Hn, a little bit. Well, that knocks off torturing the guy till he dies. Now that leaves catastrating, skinning him, gang rape…” he muttered under his breath but stopped at Sarandon’s mother coming in with a food. Whatever it was, it smelled amazing. He hadn’t eaten in awhile and was starving. The plan of prying the answer to his last comment out of the boy was pushed to the back of his head.
“This is perfect. Thanks,” Vizeses said as he took the ice pack and put it in place of where his hands were. “So you’re going to protect me huh? Heh, gonna be my new bodyguard?”

Sarandon paled a bit in disgust when he heard the remarks, but tried to keep a straight face. He smiled at his mother as she served the meal. "Mathieu, come sit down," she told her son. "You too, please, sir, dinner will get cold."
Matt nodded. "Yep! You can even sit next to me at church," he said magnanimously. "COme on, let's go sit down."

Ashi wondered why the boy suddenly looked so pale when his mother entered with their meals. He didn’t think the food smelled that bad, though it could be because he, for some reason, shared the thought that all women were disgusting with the big lumps on their chests, their annoying high pitched voice…he mentally shuddered. Now that was something to be afraid of.
“Thanks kid,” the Zercan said with a chuckle, ruffling the boy’s hair. He slowly stood up with the ice pack still in place, though soon moved it with a slight blush at the awkward appearance. He walked behind the boy with a smile to the kitchen and sat down, far away from Ashi. “This smells great Mrs.…uh…M-miss.”

"Mrs St-Pierre," Sarandon's mother told him with a smile. "And may I know your names?" She looked at the two of them. "It would be rude of me to address you as 'hey you' while you are guests in our home."
Matt smiled, sitting next to the zercan. At 13, he was the youngest of the five brothers and he seemed to like the role a lot. He smiled up at Vizeses, quite smitten. He bowed his head, as did the rest of the family as their father said grace.

“My name is Vizeses Mrs. St-Pierre,” the Zercan said with a nod. He absolutely despised the fact that he and some filthy Parisdion were eating at the same table. Being in the same house or planet without them fighting was a miracle and insane. He was surprised that Ashi hadn’t leapt over the table already and tried to murder him.
Vizeses smiled back at Matt but then gave a puzzled look when the boy suddenly put his head down. The two aliens gave the other family members weird looks when the suddenly bowed their heads and started grace. They both glared at each other before putting their heads down with them and shrugged, not having a clue what they were doing.

When grace was over, the boys began digging into the food hungrily. Sarandon made sure that Ashi had enough and that he didn't pay attention to the zercan. "And you? I didn't hear what your name was," Mrs. St-Piere addressed Ashi.
Matt smirked at Vizeses's puzzled look. "It's called grace. It's to bless the food and give thanks to God for our meal. Several centuries ago, it was also to make sure that there were no demons on the food waiting to be eaten to make someone sick." He beamed a little at his knowledge. "I'm thinking of becoming a priest," he said. "So I study religion a lot."

After grace was over, Ashi didn’t hesitate to dig in along with the boys. He and Vizeses both ignored each other, figuring it wouldn’t do any good to get in a fight with bystanders around. The Parisdion was in the middle of eating when Sarandon’s mom asked him what his name was. He looked up and waited until he swallowed before replying, remembering the few manners he’s been raised with. “Uh, I’m Ashi…um…a pleasure to meet you,” he said hesitantly, repeating what he had heard once on when watching TV. The older man had no idea what had made him want to be so polite to Sarandon’s mother but apparently, the crazy voice in his head that most people called a conscious knew. It was babbling something about getting on the good graces of the human’s parents to get a better chance at being accepted as Sarandon’s mate…but that couldn’t be right because whoever created mates hated his species and would never give him a mate.
Vizeses nodded slowly at the boy’s explanation. Something about demons and sickness and…he had no idea what he was talking about but as they say ‘Just smile and nod’ so he did just that. “I’m sure you’ll become a great priest. You already seem to know a lot of religious stuff. Probably a lot more than I know,” he said with a laugh.

"The pleasure is mine," she answered, quite pleased that Sarandon had found a friend with good manners. Sarandon also seemed pleased. His mother was generally a suspicious woman.
"I know a lot more than most people. Are you catholic? Randy says that you're coming to church with us, but you did break into his room and threaten to hurt him and Ashi, and that's a sin."

Ashi nodded and stuffed something in his mouth from having to speak. All this was new and very awkward to him. He definitely wasn’t the type to be able to hold a conversation well with people he didn’t know, or at least a civil one. Sarandon and his mother both seemed pleased with his politeness. Guess the big black box called a TV was good for at least one thing.
Vizeses’s eyes grew wide when he heard the boy new of his little capture plan. “Uh…well…I…uh…um.” His tongue was tied and he couldn’t form coherent sentences. The Zercan didn’t want Matt to think badly of him; he was just trying to protect them but he couldn’t say that or else they’d start prying and soon their cover would be blown. “Well, I’m not really Catholic but…um…I’m sorry for breaking in.”

"Didn't think that you were," Matt said, smiling a bit. "I guess I'll have to preach to you, then. Try and convert you..." There was a little twinkle in his eye. "Could be fun."
"So, Ashi, where are you from?" Mrs. St-Pierre asked him.
"Didn't you say that you were from Winnipeg?" Sarandon asked Ashi innocently

Ashi watched Sarandon’s innocent act and almost rolled his eyes at the obvious fake, though he did have a lot of practice from telling the real thing and an act. “Yes, I’m from Winnipeg,” he said, going along with the act. The man had no idea where Winnipeg was, or where this place was even. He was glad that the boy had spoken up but wondered why. Even if he wasn’t from around here, wouldn’t the boy assume that he was from Earth? Or had all the weird events, like the cat jumping in his window, made him think he was an alien? “So, uh…when does…church start?” he asked with fake interest, trying to get the women’s attention off of himself.
“Heh, maybe fun for you but what do I get out of it Mr. Priest?” Vizeses said with a slight laugh. Convert him…actually, the Zercan was thinking along the same lines. Convert Matt into at least thinking homosexuals were not evil incarnated and then proceed to make him fall under his spell of seduction. Though he wasn’t sure how well that would go with his parents.
(Gotta go sleep. Goodnight!)

"Church starts at 8," she said. "I know, it's rare these days to find a family who goes to mass during the week. Most only go on Sundays. But I feel that it's best for the boys to hear the word of god as often as possible."
Matt smiled, a hint of a blush colouring his cheeks. "Time away from Ashi?"
