“Ch, possessed by the devil, right,” Ashi said, rolling his eyes. He wondered if that was what everyone else thought of his species, or more likely, the devil incarnated. Speaking of which, he wondered if the Zercan that found him out was still looking for him and if he was, how close he was to finding him. It definitely wouldn’t be good if he found the Parisdion with Sarandon. He was sure the Zercan wouldn’t make a scene but then he’d be even more pissed.
“You’re not going to be able to change everyone by your nice attitude. Some people are just evil by nature and beliefs aren’t easily swayed either. If you were born and raised to hate certain people, it’s going to take a life time to get them to cooperate,” he said. He noticed this was the most he’d said that wasn’t insulting since…well, he couldn’t remember when. It was surprising how the boy could make him speak so much without even trying.

((Three is a good number))
"Then it'll take a lifetime. But at least my attitude lets them see something different. By my behaviour, I try to make everyone and everything that I could represent be a bit more respectable. They can't say that all youth is dangerous and violent if I am quiet and polite. They can't say that all boys are perverted and rowdy if I'm chivalrous and calm," he pointed out. "I'm not out to change people's minds completely. I'm there to set an example. Goodness just inspires more goodness. A smile and a cheerful greeting can change someone's day for the better."

Ashi stared the boy with unblinking eyes and eyebrows raised. “You sound like something straight from a bible or whatever they’re called. Or a priest, preaching about hatred, love, and all that shit. You’re one weird kid. Maybe you should grow up to be a monk,” he smirked, leaning forward with his elbows propped on his criss-crossed legs, his head resting on the palms of his hands. He reached out to grab a strand of Sarandon’s silky black hair, twirling it around in his fingers, looking at it contently. “But then you’d have to shave your head…” he said airily.

Sarandon didn't pull away. He should, he thought, but he didn't. "I'm not cut out for the priesthood," he murmured. "And I don't want to be a monk. I don't want to take a vow of silence. I just want to be a good person."

Ashi was surprised and glad that he didn’t pull away. He liked the boy’s hair; it felt so nice and soft on his skin. For a split second, he thought if his skin was this soft, like newborn’s, smooth and…but he quickly pushed the thought away. “Vow of silence? So what, you’re suppose to be mute when become a priest or monk or whatever?” he asked.
He stopped all movement when he spotted a familiar figure walking down the street from out the window. Mentally cursing himself, he took his hand from out of Sarandon’s hair and took his hand, dragging the boy along with him. As his hand reached the doorknob, Ashi realized he had, for some odd reason, taken the boy with him, well, almost. He had to think fast. The Zercan probably caught his scent already and was on to him. He couldn’t take off with the human and tell him he’s an evil alien from outer space that tried to take over Earth and is now on the run from a guy who wants to kill him. He had feeling that wouldn’t go to well with him. Sighing, he banged his head on the door. Ashi wanted to take him with him but the only safe place is Parisdion and he couldn’t take the boy there. He’d be eaten alive.

"Some monks d--- What are you doing?" he asked, not liking the dragging one bit. "Calm down. He put a hand on Ashi's forehead to stop the banging. "What's wrong? Did a bee sting you? Stay for super, at least..." He looked out the window. "Did that person scare you? Don't worry, he can't come in here. It's a private residence."

Ashi tuned everything out so had not heard the boy speak until he stopped him from banging his head on the door. It took awhile for his head to stop spinning. When he was finally able to concentrate, he saw Sarandon look out the window asking if he was scared of the Zercan and not to worry. The Parisdion looked at the boy with sad, longing eyes. If he brought the human with him, the Zercan would think he’s with the Parisdions or something and would be hunted down as well. If he left him here, the Zercan would probably think he was using the boy to take over Earth again. He dropped Sarandon’s hand as if it burned and opened the door, taking only one-step out before hearing the Zercan land in Sarandon’s room with a soft thud.
“I’m Vizeses and I’m here to collect that bounty on you head,” he said, pointing a dagger at Ashi menacingly. He looked over to the human boy standing near the Parisdion. “And, of course, help the pretty little boy over there seeing as he you probably scarred him for life.”
Ashi sighed and turned around, shoving his hands deep in his pockets. He tried to ignore Sarandon, even though he was standing right in front of him, making it seem as if he didn’t even know the boy. “Actually, I think you just did by turning into a cat, jumping into a two-story window, turning back normal, and pointing a dagger at us,” he said calmly.

Sarandon was scared. He wasn't scared of Ashi, but, as the Parisdion had said, of Vizeses. He placed himself in front of his guest, arms spread wide. "Papa! Christophe!" he yelled, wanting backup. "Someone broke into my room!" He grabbed his chair as a weapon, standing to defend Ashi. "Out, devil! This man is a guest in my home and you will not harm him!"

(Heh, that was funny. Now all he needs is a whip and he'd be lion taimer ^^)
Ashi smirked as Sarandon tried fending of Vizeses with a chair. It was very comical and almost burst out laughing had the Zercan not been there.
The Zercan had barely missed the sudden attack of the chair by the human. It was ironic. Here he was, trying to save them boy and he goes and attacks him, thinking he’s the evil one. As he easily dodged each attack, he tried to reason with the boy. “Look, I’m not here to harm you and I’m not evil either. Your guest over there has tried to take over your world and his just using you to get it. He’s trying to get you close to him so he’ll get close to your friends and family. Then he’ll try to get them to help him take over Zerca and all the other planets! He’s the evil not me. Attack him.”
The boy wasn’t listening to him. Vizeses let out a sigh. “For the sake of all of us, if you get in my way, I’ll have to kill you. I don’t want to do that but…if you give me no choice, I’ll have,” he said, looking at him mournfully.
Ashi glared at the Zercan with icy cold eyes when he said he would kill him. That would not be happening, at least not while he was here. He walked towards the Zercan, stopping at Sarandon, ordering him to put the chair down. As he continued his way towards the other, he pulled out a thin metallic string/whip thing that could decapitate a person if it was wrapped around his neck with the proper amount of strength or be used like a normal whip. “You shouldn’t have been so curious about meeting a Parisdion…or trying to get the bounty on their head. You know what they say. Curiosity killed the cat,” he said with a twisted grin.

Sarandon placed himself between the two of them. Christophe came barreling in, a broom in hand. His father was there a few steps behind. Sarandon's father grabbed Ashi while Christophe went for the zercan. Sarandon stayed in the middle. "There'll be no fighting here! You, get out of my house, I didn't invite you." He glared at the zercan. "You," he turned towards Ashi, realising that he didn't even know the other's name yet, "calm down. I don't want any fighting in here. Please? Papa, help Chris with that one." He pointed at the zercan, looking up at Ashi. He had the strange feeling that the other would listen to him. "Please put that down?"

Ashi stopped in mid-step as he approached the Zercan when Sarandon appeared between them. How could the boy want to protect him? He just threatened to kill them both and besides, wasn’t it Sarandon that was practically throwing a chair at him? He sighed and satisfied himself by glaring daggers at him…speaking of daggers, he had some in boots. Maybe he could throw them to make it more realistic…
Suddenly, two people came barging in. The younger one held a broom and tried to attack Vizeses with it, though the human only him once. The older man, Ashi assumed was Sarandon’s father, told the Zercan to leave and no fighting…even though the younger one was trying to hit the other with a broom like a mad man trying to get kids off his property, though it wasn’t much of a difference. It was a very comical scene, something you’d probably only see on TV or something.
Sarandon’s voice pierced through his thoughts and he realized he’s squeezing the life out of the whip like weapon in his hand…if it had a life. He grimaced. He didn’t like the idea of being unarmed with a Zercan nearby, a Zercan that indeed had a weapon that he intended to use on him. After a moments thought, Ashi decided Vizeses wouldn’t harm him in view of humans so put his weapon away.
“Hey! Hey! Stop hitting me damn it!” the Zercan yelled, catching the broom and breaking it in half. “Look, just listen to me. I’m not going to hurt you. I’m sorry for scary you. It’s just that, when I saw him I was in a rush to get him. He’s done some bad things and I need to take him to the police,” he said smoothly, pointing at Ashi.

Sarandon placed himself firmly in front of Ashi. "You're the one breaking and entering! We should be calling the police on you!"
"If you really had wanted to take him to the police, you wouldn't have barged in on Randy like this! You would have rang the doorbell and talked to our parents," Chris pointed out.
Sarandon put a gentle hand on Ashi's arm, smiling at him to thank him. he saw his father giving Ashi a suspicious look. "Who is this, Randy? you have a habit of bringing home strays, I hope this one doesn't have rabies."
"He's a new neighbour, dad. He's coming to church with us," Sarandon said. His father still looked suspicious.
"He had that nasty weapon..."
"He won't hurt me. Or any of us. He was just trying to protect himself from the maniac who climbed in my window." But like that, it was the zercan who really looked like the bad guy. "I promise. He's going to come to supper and to church." He suddenly had a thought. He smiled slyly at the zercan. "Do you wish to stay for supper and accompany us to church? If your intentions are as good as you say, you won't have any problem staying here peacefully. I'll even escort you both to the police station after to settle this. And you look like you need to hear the word of god," he told Vizeses sternly.

Ashi smirked as he listened to the two humans lecture Vizeses on breaking and entering. The Zercan kept trying to butt in to defend himself but was quickly cut off. It was nice to be on the winning side for once where someone would support you, on the good side. He wanted to taunt him, asking how it felt getting a taste of his own medicine. How it felt to be scolded because you were told and forced to do this to keep your species and yourself alive. How it felt to be the ‘bad guy’ because of that.
The Parisdion heard Sarandon’s father become suspicious of him because of his weapon. He growled when he called him some stray rat on the street. He was going to fight back but the boy beat him to it. It surprised Ashi that he even tried to defend him considering he was, as the boy so nicely put it, stalking him and sort of forcing himself into his life. He was even more surprised when he invited the Zercan that just broke into their house, to dinner and church. Oh, hell no was he going to be in the same room as him. In fact, he didn’t even like the fact that he was on the same planet as him. Vizeses had better not go along with this or he might be forced to murder the closest thing near him…which he will make sure be the Zercan.
“I’d love to go,” Vizeses said. He figured this way; he’d be able to keep an eye on the Parisdion to make sure he wasn’t going to try to kill the humans…even if they did try to beat him with a chair and stick.

Sarandon gave both of them a stern look. "Come on. Let's go wash up for supper. And if either of you insult each other, I'll wash your mouths out with soap. We're all adults here, we can go an evening without fighting." He put a gentle hand on Ashi's arm, smiling up at him. "It'll be ok. And you'll see, my mother is a wonderful cook."
He went to round up his little brothers as well, making sure that they washed their hands. He ushered them all over to the table, like a mother hen with her chicks.

The two men glared daggers at each other as they walked to the bathroom. The tension and hatred between the two filled the whole house with an uneasy filling. As they walked, the Zercan looked towards Ashi and smirked. “So you’ve gotten so desperate to actually ask a human for help, obeying every given command?”
The man ground his teeth together and stuffed his hands in his deep pockets, glaring at the space in front of him. “You’re one to talk,” he sneered. “Almost being beat by some humans with a broom and chair. How pathetic can you get? You even transformed where a human could easily spot you. Even if I did tell the boy who I was, do actually think I would inform the whole neighborhood of my presence? And the tactic you tried to capture me was poor and unplanned. What sane person would jump in a two story window with humans still around? It’s obvious they would have thought you as a murderer. I can’t believe the Shoda sent a complete imbecile to kill me,” he said in a long rant of insults.
“Well excuse me for not being as skilled as you are at killing and capturing people,” he huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
“It doesn’t only take skill, it take’s a brain to pull it off as well, which apparently, you don’t have,” he said smoothly, approaching the sink to wash his hands.
Vizeses growled and tired to push Ashi aside to wash his hands but the Parisdion stood his ground and shoved him out of the way, causing the Zercan to get a small scratch on his arm from the counter. He narrowed his eyes and stalked up to him.
Ashi glanced down at him with a bored expression and kicked him between the legs. He walked around him to dry his hands on a fluffy towel and walked out the bathroom, to the kitchen, leaving the poor Zercan lying on the floor.
