Sarandon frowned, his own hand coming up to touch Ashi's face. "You're bleeding," he said, wiping away the blood at the corner of the other's mouth with a gloved hand. He sighed. "Come inside, you should gargle some salt wanter to make sure that it won't infect. That or some strong liquor." He pulled away from the other, bringing him inside.
"Randy, you're late!" he mother said from the kitchen. "Can you go help Matty with his homework? He's having some trouble in French."
"I'm sorry I'm late. I'll go help him for a minute. Is it ok if..." he paused, looking at Ashi, "my friend joins us for supper? He was thinking of coming to church with us later. He's new in town and wasn't sure when services are..."
"Of course. Just set an extra place on the table. You know I don't mind you having friends over. The Lord knows that you don't have many." Sarandon just nodded, going to hang up his coat and sweaters in the closet.
"Happy, now? You get to stalk me all day. Now sit here," he motioned a chair, "I'll get some saltwater for your mouth."

Ashi almost twitched when Sarandon reached for him. When he pulled away, he noticed red on his gloves and raised an eyebrow in confusion. He hadn’t even noticed he was bleeding. Now where the hell did that come from? He listened as the boy name things he should do to treat his wound. Hm, liquor sounded nice about now. It would dull the weird feeling he got when being near the boy, though he was pretty sure he was a violent drunk and didn’t want the other to get hurt. And, of course, he might spill that he’s a Parisdion and get killed, yeah, mainly that.
He followed him in the house and looked around at the neat rooms he could see. Listening to the woman, who he assumed is his mother, and Sarandon talk, he caught the ‘friend’. Now that was different. Though he figured that it’s probably an excuse to sneak him in since religious people, for some reason, have the need to help people, even if said person is stalking you.
Ashi’s face turned grim when he heard he’s going to church. Great, he already heard enough of how ‘bad’ his species where from the Zercans; he didn’t need it from some humans. Well, at least he got a free meal out of it.
He did as he was told and sat in the comfy chair. “Oh yes, I’m just ecstatic. Now maybe I’ll find the age old questions of boxers or briefs?” he said sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Chris?" Sarandon caught his older brother's arm as he went by. "Can you help Matt with his homework? I have company." The onlder boy nodded, going to help the youngest of their brothers with his homework. Sarandon returned to where Ashi was sitting with some salt water. "You must have bitten then inside of your lip..." He led Ashi into the bathroom. "Gargle this, then spit it out in the sink. I hope that you like shepard's pie, because that's what's on the menu. I'll see if I can find you some nice clothes for church, after. Maybe when you here the priest's sermon you'll figure out that it isn't nice to stalk people. Don't frown like that. Church isn't as bad as all that. Haven't you ever been? There's nice singing."

Ashi nodded his head slightly. Now he remembered, though it didn’t hurt that bad and drinking the salt water is going to make it hurt even worse. But then again, it could get infected like the boy said if he didn’t. He sighed and followed him to the bathroom. Once he placed himself over the sink, he took the glass of salt water, looking at it with distaste before swallowing a mouthful and spitting it back out.
He grimaced even more at the newly awakened pain and horrible taste in hiss mouth. He leaned back on the counter, crossing his arms over his chest once he was done with one-man self-pity party, and listened to Sarandon talk. He had no idea what Shepard’s pie was but nodded anyways. He never went to church and wasn’t going to get too excited over singing. The only thing that might be interesting was watching the little kids annoy the adults and cause trouble.

Sarandon smiled a bit. "Oh stop sulking. You're acting like you're Matt's age. "Come, we'll go to my room until we're called down for supper. Maybe you can explain to me why you're stalking me, there." He got up, leading him into his room. He and his older brother shared a large room, the two areas seperated with bookshelves to give them each their won small space. Sarandon's room was neat, although there were still a few things out of place and the bed looked hasitly made. "You can sit on my bed," he offered. "Do you want tea? Or hot chocolate?"

Ashi followed Sarandon to his room, also wondering why he was so intent on following Sarandon. Something drew him towards the boy, his aura, his personality, everything. It all just seem to come at him at once with strange emotions mixing in with it. He had no idea why he was doing this but his instinct told him to and it’s never been wrong before…except that time when it lead him into an asteroid belt and almost got him killed…but that didn’t count.
He sat on the bed and looked at Sarandon contently, wondering why a human would make him feel this way. He caught himself staring and shook his head. “No, I’m fine,” he replied, just barely getting what he said.

"So..."He sat down on the bed next to Ashi, as far as he could. "Why are you stalking me? And what brings you to our neighbourhood. I know that it wasn't the church, no matter what I told my mother." He grinned. "You'll see, it's fun."

Ashi noticed the purposely-put distance between them when Sarandon sat down and smirked. Guess he scared him; in fact he was scarring himself. He’d never done this or acted like this before and he was starting to worry if being on Earth too long has somehow made him insane. “I doubt it’ll be that entertaining unless I take acid (LCD) or get extremely drunk,” he said, purposely avoiding the first question.
(Sorry if I'm taking too long. I'm RPing with two different people at the same time and need to log on and log off a lot and post the replies. So it'll take awhile)

((It's ok. And you can use your Alex Nephel account to post here, if you like, i don't mind. I know that it's you. And it's LSD, not LCD...))
"You're like my brother. Armand never liked church either. Then again, the priest was always preaching against homosexuals, then. This one doesn't." He laughed. "My mother always complains about it, but I like it. Armand would be pleased, too."

As Ashi listen to Sarandon speak, he wondered what his opinion on homosexuals were. Even if he doesn’t like it, maybe he could get his brother to make him at least accept it. They were family so they should care about each other right? Though he knew that was not always the case, like his family for instance. They want money, power, land, and world domination and nothing else. Talk about greedy.
But it seemed the boy’s mom would absolutely hate his guts if he found out he was a homosexual…and an alien that could get her son pregnant…not that he wanted to.
Yes you do. You just can’t keep away from him.
No. I. Don’t.
Yes you do. And so it went on like that in his head for awhile, glaring at the space in front of him, which happened to be Sarandon, until he found himself talking to an imaginary person inside his head. He was definitely going crazy.
(Ops, that's what I meant. Heh, sorry.)

"Are you ok?" he asked gently. "I'm sorry... I... You aren't homophobic, are you?" he asked with a sigh. "My parents are. They kicked Armand out of the house because he refused to date girls. He's living with his boyfriend, now. I don't see him all that often. But they're happy together. And if they're happy, it can't be bad. Armand wouldn't have been born liking men if God had another plan for him."

Ashi was knocked out of his thoughts about becoming crazy when he heard Sarandon speak. He inwardly smiled at what he heard, well, about him not hating homosexuals. Those simple words seem to lift a giant weight on off his heart…damn, he’s getting sappy. He is definitely going insane. “Yeah, I’m fine,” he said waving it off.
“I’m not homophobic but you’re parents are complete assholes. Ch, guess blood doesn’t matter once you a fag,” he said, spitting out the last word. He hated that word with a passion. If he could kill, he’d would murder it, revive it and then kill it again. He crossed his arms across his chest, leaning back on the wall behind him, closing his eyes. He sighed as he realized what he just said. “Sorry,” he muttered.

"No, my parents are just very stuck in their beliefs. My mother really is afraid for Armand." Sarandon was frowning. "She really thinks that him having a boyfriend is bad for him. She's just worried because she loves him. My father... he just doesn't understand how any man could like another. It's the way that they were raised. And don't use words like that. They're hateful. And the more you put hate out into the world, the more there will be."

Ashi opened one eye in the middle of Sarandon’s speech to study the boy when he was sure he wouldn’t see. As the speech came to a close, he closed his eyes again, pretending as if nothing had happened. “You shouldn’t frown. It doesn’t suit you,” he said with his eyes still closed.
He sighed as he repeated what Sarandon had said in his head. What people believed and what was real isn’t always the same thing. All Zercan, or any other species for that matter, believe that all Parisdions are evil by nature and want to take over the worlds. Well, he doesn’t want to take over the world; he isn’t evil…well, if he wasn’t raised that way he wouldn’t be. Everyone thinks that their beliefs are true when in reality…“It’s bullshit,” he accidentally said out loud. He quickly thought of something to say so it wouldn’t make him appear even crazier than the boy already thought.
“You’re parent’s belief that is. You shouldn’t go off what you believe, only the facts. Once you get the facts, then you can start criticizing someone’s way of life. But it seems no ones doing that these days. They just go off believing they’re always right and ruin someone else’s life because of their ignorance,” Ashi said, getting angrier with every sentence he spoke. He was more of talking about his own life than anyone else’s. He took deep breaths, counting slowly in his head to calm him down. When he got his temper under control, he opened his eyes, looking at the wall behind Sarandon. “The more you put hate out into the world, the more there will be, huh? Well, tell that to the people who started it. Heh, you’re way too nice for your own good,” he said, his eyes traveling down to Sarandon’s emerald eyes.

"Maybe," Sarandon agreed. "But I think that I can make a difference in this world, even if it's just by being nice. If I can spread joy and peace around me, there'll be that much less hatred in the world. I agree that my parents are misguided. But that doesn't make them bad people. Even though they think that loving your own gender is wrong and perverted, they would never do anything to harm anyone. They don't speak out in hatred. Yes, they kicked my brother out and they quarreled and they screamed, but they truely and really believe that my brother is being posessed by the devil. They love his boyfriend, they just don't accept the relationship yet. They'll come around eventually. With enough love and forgiveness on both sides."
