Drake nodded dumbly at Adair’s words. God he wished he wasn’t so perverted right now. It took all he had to convince himself that the other didn’t mean his words to be an invitation to mate. Of course, being the pervert he was, Drake was already thinking inappropriate things about his little mate. Every time the other moved in his lap, Drake wanted to pin him down and steal his purity. That was what he had been after all along, Adair’s purity. The other was just so cute and he couldn’t help himself. Drake let his hands slid over the other’s stomach. There were other places he’d rather place his hands, but he’d settle for this position at the moment. After all, they were in public and there was no way he could go any further, no matter how much he wanted to. Drake had made out with people before in public, but nothing farther than that…at least not anywhere they could be seen. He didn’t like people to watch him do someone else. So Drake kept quiet about his thoughts and let the younger boy do as he pleased. It was, after all, his duty to make sure the other was happy and telling him what he was thinking about at the moment would probably upset the other more than anything else.
“I-If you get tired…you can sleep on my bed,” suggested the blonde. “You can stay with me if that’s what you want. Ne, come over any time you want. I like having you around Adair, you’re…really cute. I’d like…to have more of you too. Let’s make it deal. If I can have more of you, then you can have more of me. That way we’re both happy. It’d be fun to sleep together Adair. We can do that if you want. We’ll do anything you want, okay?”
God he was going to hell for lying so much in a day. Did sleeping together also mean tearing each other’s clothes off and getting kinky? Mhm…he’d take that as a yes only because Adair looked so damn cute. Adair was the type of person that seduced others without even knowing it. Drake wanted more and more of the other. Even though it was unfair to want things from someone so innocent, Drake couldn’t help it. He couldn’t tell the other his thoughts, though. He couldn’t tell the other how much he wanted to claim his body or anything like that. This was bad. If the other found out, he’d be in trouble for sure. Adair was sure to get mad over it or not understand and try to get Drake to tell him what it meant. That’s when noted there was someone staring down at him. The girl had long blonde hair with pink streaks in it and large smile on her face. The nametag on her uniform read ‘Artemis,’ which seemed to fit her well. She looked like the type of girl with that sort of name. A couple of guys were checking her out, but Drake remained uninterested. She had a fairly large chest and curves in the places women should, but Adair was much cuter than her, or so Drake thought.
“Helloooo!” She greeted cheerfully. “I’m Artemis, but I guess you already know that since I have a nametag… Anyway, I’ll be your waitress, so if there’s anything you need, ask me! Unless it’s something illegal…or unrelated to eating… But if there’s a chance I can help you, then it’s okay. How’s this, you jut ask me and I’ll see what I can do. I’ll say no if I can’t do it and yes if I can! That sounds alright. You two are cute! Aww, I want to hug you both, but my boss said I can’t do that anymore… He said I scared people… I’m not scary at all! Damn old geezer… Ah! I haven’t even asked you what you want yet? I was supposed to ask that first… Aw geez… Anyway, what can I get for you this evening? Anything? Make sure to leave your beautiful waitress a top as you leave, okay?”

Adair was curious when the other moved, but delightfully surprised when the other's hands were placed on his stomach. For but a moment, the breath caught his his lungs as his mind silently analyzed the feeling, filing it under the mental category of things he liked. He liked the way the other touched him. It felt nice to hold the other's hand, but it felt even better to have the other's hands on different places on his body. Well, not in a sexual way, for that hadn't even entered the boy's mind, but just sweet, romantic way.. He wanted more of these kinds of touches. That was what his body had wanted before and he was glad to let Drake know this. That meant he would be touched more, wouldn't it? Even better, the older teen had said he had wanted more of him, too. That had made the younger teen ecstatic as he liked touching the other just as much as he liked being touched.
But, of course, it felt weird to be touching anyone when a strange woman was just standing nearby and staring at you. It was even more awkward when she started to speak.
Adair watched as the girl rambled on and on... He didn't bother to scoot away from Drake or climb out of his lap. Instead, he wrapped his thin arms around the other even tighter in an almost protective manner. He didn't know why he was acting why he was. His mind didn't even register that he was acting any different than normal. But, normally, Adair wouldn't have clung to whoever he'd been talking to at the approach of another person. Nor would he ever stare at said approaching person, wishing that they would just go away. He naturally a kindhearted person, but now that he had found Drake, he didn't want anyone else to have the other's attention. It was irrational to think that way in reality, but Adair didn't think so at present.
"One strawberry ice cream. We'll share." Adair said frostily, recalling the flavor the other had named earlier as his favorite. While he prefered vanilla, it seemed like it would've been much more enjoyable to share with Drake. At least to the younger boy, sharing such a nice desert with someone was special. As far as he knew, only best friends shared a single cone of the frozen treat. Drake had said they were best friends, right? He wanted to show this girl and everyone else that Drake was his best friend and no one elses, as foolish as it sounded, in case anyone had it in their mind to steal the older boy away from him. He gave the woman a small smile, the gesture obviously forced, "That's all. Go away now, please."

“I don’t want you to get to know me,” shrugged the boy. “Besides, people who let others walk all over them are fools. If something bothers you, you should say something. You’ll become useless if you don’t do anything about it. You’re already annoying, so don’t become useless too. I don’t like useless people.”
The other was strange indeed. He like a doormat, taking anything Zach threw at him without complaint. It reminded Zach of how he was at school. There was a different, though. Zach really didn’t care about what the other’s thought of him or what they did, but he knew Morgan cared. Morgan wanted Zach to like him and therefore thought that by pretending he was fine with how things were going, Zach would care about him. This wasn’t how Zach’s mind worked, though. He was a daemon and therefore a proud person. If Morgan wanted to be his mate, the other would have to prove himself in the eyes of Zach and so far, the man hadn’t done a very good job. He knew he was probably going to start irking the other soon, but that was his point. He wanted to see how much more Morgan could take before he snapped. The older male hadn’t proved he was strong or even worthy of being Zach’s mate. His instincts told him that unless Morgan overpowered him, the other wasn’t going to be worthy of protecting him. Zach wouldn’t accept bonding with someone weak and would push the other farther and father until he snapped.
“He’s not my real brother,” the boy stated simply. “I don’t care. It’s what Drake gets for being such a damn playboy anyway. He’s a moron most of the time. It’s a sport to him. You’re not that much older. Funny, I thought you were older. Does this make you a pedophile? Eighteen is the adult age in the country, right? So does it mean you’re a pedophile for sleeping with a minor? That sounds funny. There’s more to you than you’re letting on, but you won’t tell me, will you? That’s alright, I’ll find out later anyway.”
There was more to this person than met the eye. He dressed differently than he acted and while it wasn’t right to stereotype, he knew there was something about Morgan that was made him different than most street punks. He continued to walk with the other until they reached what he assumed to be the other’s home. There were definitely others inside and he wondered what kind of place this was to live in. It seemed…like a warm home and the boy couldn’t help but feel it was unfair that everyone had gotten this when he had been all alone. Zach didn’t say anything, though. He had put such things out of his mind a long time ago. It didn’t matter if it was unfair. He didn’t deserve that kind of warmth anyway. Everyone had made it quite clear he wasn’t meant for such things. The boy looked over at the other. Morgan was beginning to become more trouble than he was worth. He was already beginning to regret hanging around the other. With a shrug, the boy began to pull the other in another direction. He recognized this street since it was near his school. That meant he probably went to the same school as Morgan unless the other was a transfer student at another public school or went to a private school. It was hard to know whether this was a good or bad thing.
“My brother won’t be home for a while I supposed, but he’ll be pissed if he finds you there,” the boy said casually. “He might fight you or something idiotic like that because I’m a fucking virgin and some shirt like that. If you two end up hurting each other, I won’t care.”

It took a while for Drake to figure out what was going on. He was, after all, very slow today. He hadn’t been sure what was wrong before, but he understood now. Adair was reacting to their bond and trying to prove to everyone that Drake couldn’t be with anyone else. He saw Artemis as a threat and probably disliked her because of it. Drake had thought he’d be the jealous one in the relationship, but perhaps they’d both end up being that way. He could already tell it’d be hard not to fight off every male that dared to look at Adair. It was in his nature to fight those that looked at his unclaimed mate, but he had never thought of Adair’s feelings. The other was probably very possessive at the moment too. After all, he hadn’t claimed Adair yet and thus, they were not fully bonded yet. That meant they were both free game for anyone looking for a mate. Drake was used to getting hit on by various people and he knew Adair wouldn’t like that. Besides that, people on Earth wouldn’t recognize his bond and try to hit on him even though he was already bonded to someone. He didn’t understand why someone would go after a man that already had a mate, but the planet was odd anyway. Most things around here still confused Drake.
He looked up at the waitress and smiled weakly as Adair clung to him and rudely dismissed her. It wasn’t that he minded the other being so close to him or that the boy was all over him, but now the girl was looking at them oddly and he knew the boy’s comment wouldn’t bode well with her. After all, it was easy to see Adair was being rude. Things like that didn’t go over well. Drake clung to Adair tighter to make sure the other didn’t try anything else and watched the girl leave in a huff. She looked pretty pissed off and like she was about to blow. Her cheeks were red and she stomped the way whole back to the kitchen. He hoped she didn’t do anything either because he was sure it’d set off Adair even more. Of course, Artemis didn’t have to piss off Adair because two new strangers did it for him. They looked like they were the same age as Adair and wore a school uniform that told him they were from the same school as the one Zach went to. It was rather odd that today all the minors decided to hit on him he supposed. The taller girl was blonde with pigtails. She had bright blue eyes and a smile that would have been dazzling if Drake had been into girls.
The shorter girl had pitch black hair and dark eyes to match. She had the same look on her face as the first girl and seemed to think she had a chance with him or something. It kind of freaked out Drake that so many minors were attracted to him. Maybe he needed a new look that told people he wasn’t really into little kids. The girls had to be fifteen and while Adair and Zach were that age, they were cute while these girls were…underdeveloped and female, not a good combination in Drake’s book. While he was known to make out with a female or maybe go farther, it usually meant he was really wasted. Sober meant guys only for him. Of course, those days were over now and he had no intention of ever cheating on Adair, especially not with the underdeveloped girls in front of him.
“I-I’m Aya!” Stuttered the blonde.
“I’m her friend Shiori…um…hi!” The second girl introduced herself.
“We just thought….well…we were wondering…you see….that is to say…”
“We think you’re really cute and want to date you!”
“You look like such a cool guy! Not ever guy would make time for their little brother and I like that in a man, so we should date sometime. Please pick one of us for your girlfriend!”

"I don't mind. If there any chance this 'brother' of yours won't find us out at your place, that's still better than my house. I know for a fact that we would get caught at my home," Morgan sighed, casually walking along behind the other as he was led around. He felt bad for having dragged the boy all the way to his home and then bothering the other to lead them elsewhere. But, there wasn't really any other way around it that he saw. The walls were thin at his house and his room dangerously close to the second floor inside balcony that overlooked the livingroom. Eighty percent of the time, his mother lingered in said first-floor room, making the task anything but impossible for the two teens. If Fayre, his mother, had ever found out about the things he had done behind her back--like sleeping around and drinking--he was almost positive she'd at least consider disowning him. She had already thrown a huge, dramatic fit over the numerous piercings and the single tattoo he'd gotten.
"Oh, and about what you said before, I suppose it's true that anyone who lets someone walk all over them is a fool.. But I don't really know of anyone who's even tried walking over me without getting a rather nasty beating afterwards.. And the things people say shouldn't bother you anyway. Everyone has reasons for doing the things they do, but not everyone can just look at a person and see those reasons--that's why they say all that bullshit about a person in the first place. So, unless someone knows the reasons you act the way you do, it shouldn't bother you that someone says something about it. So, why should you bother to do anything about something that's not a problem for you? Er, well.. I guess that's an odd thing for me to say.. seeing as I usually jump for the chance to hit someone whether I'm offended by something or not if I'm in the wrong kind of mood," The older teen shrugged again, ending his miniature speech. Though, he spoke again a few seconds later as he continued after the other, "So don't worry. I'll never be useless in that regard."
Once he'd left the subject, he'd thought back on the other things the younger boy had said. He wasn't much interested in the pedophile comment. At least, Morgan saw the situation in two ways. One, he didn't see himself as a pedophile in any regard until he graduated high school and two, a pedophile was someone that stalked and harrassed children. He loved Zach and the two were mates, so by his definition, he wasn't a pedophile. But, the quick little add-on comment the other had made intrigued him. Indeed, there was more to Morgan that the taller boy hadn't cared to mention. But, Zach actually seemed to care, if only a little bit, by saying that he would find out later. A keen smirk landed on his lips, "Of course there's more to me than I told you. But, if you allegedly hate me so much, why would you care if I wasn't telling you everything or not?

The boy hadn't meant to be rude, honestly. A good deal of the time, Adair over analyzed what he was going to say next or at least think about it for a moment. But, when he was with Drake, his mouth seemed to work of it's own accord. It would've been an embarrassing situation for him, letting things slip past his lips that he would've rather kept secret. But, if Drake was his best friend and loved him, he didn't mind if the other heard all of his very few secrets. But, even when he wasn't talking to Drake, but still in his presence, it seemed the other had the same effect on him. If he'd been fully in control of both his mind and his mouth at that moment, he would've been able to tell the waitress his order and reason to himself that the girl wasn't trying to steal away his best friend.
But, these two girls were.
This did not make the younger teen happy. Not one bit.
"Date?" Adair repeated the word slowly to himself, looking from the two offending female back to his mate, "Morgan told me that people date when they really like each other. But I'm not sure of what being someone's girlfriend means... Obviously, it's someone who's a girl, isn't it? Oh, does it mean a girl that a really good friend of yours? Does that mean someone who's your best friend, but they're a girl? That must be it..."
The brunette had mumbled to himself, occasionally looking up to Drake as he asked a question. Though, he hadn't let the other get a word in edgewise before he made the deductions himself. He was confident in his ability to figure out these odd terms this time. Besides, he hadn't wanted to rely on Drake for everything. He didn't want to seem completely stupid to the other and this was his tiny way of proving himself. With a determined and slightly annoyed look, he turned slightly in the older teen's lap to address the girls.
"I'm not Drake's brother--I'm his boyfriend. He loves me and I love him. That means there's no room for either of you," Adair glared at them for a moment more before turning back to the blonde. Feeling the need to show evidence of his claim, he reached up and placed another kiss on the other's lips. While it lasted a bit longer than the previous kisses had, it was still fairly innocent in nature being that the boy still hadn't been properly introduced into the world of french kisses. When he pulled back, he didn't even bother to turn back to the two girls. Instead, he cuddled back into the crook of the other's neck like he had been before, "Go away. He's mine."

The girls were obviously confused by Adair’s words. Drake could tell they weren’t sure what to make of the young boy. For one thing, the other was too innocent for his own good and the questions he asked where the kind you expected to hear from someone much younger. Anyone else Adair’s age would have realized what these two girls were up to. Drake tried to say something, but he wasn’t sure what to say. He was used to girls hitting on him, but he hadn’t expected something like this to happen. For one thing, these girls were much younger than the type of girls he dealt with. Most females that hit on him were older, mature, and much more experienced. Though he hadn’t really slept with females, he could tell when they were pure or not for the most part. Some girls just had an attitude that made it clear they wanted to have fun and weren’t innocent young people anymore. The girls before him were probably awkward and inexperienced. They had probably never been in a serious relationship before or even properly kissed someone before. Most people could tell by his appearance that he wasn’t someone you wanted to associate yourself with.
He was far from interested in the girls and wondered if they were brave or just stupid. He obviously wouldn’t treat them right, so he figured they out to run along and find someone their own age. It was hypocritical since he was dating someone their age, but he seriously doubted he’d find happiness with either girl. It was best to make them give up on you because if not, they’d never leave him alone. He knew how forward some girls were and high school girls with crushes were the worst. Sometimes they showed up everywhere you went and tried to give you crappy ass gifts. He’d seen it happen to other guys and it wasn’t pretty. He wanted to tell Adair this and that the other girls didn’t have a chance, but it seemed he couldn’t. Saying something like that would anger those two and they’d most likely make a scene. Girls were easily upset and Drake didn’t want to be the reason some girls got terribly angry. A fight or something could break out and Adair could get hurt. Girls always seemed to be the cause of trouble, which was why Drake didn’t like to deal with them. They fussed and only ending up becoming a nuisance to him. He was sure those two girls would cry loudly if he flat out told them he didn’t like little girls.
Of course, Adair seemed to have other plans. He probably should have given his mate more attention, but he’d been rather busy trying to come up with something to say to those two girls. He found a pair of lips on his own and watched as the females’ expressions crumbled. They stared shamelessly at the couple and seemed to be trying to figure out what this meant. Soon, the tears fell. Drake had been afraid of this, but he couldn’t argue with Adair, especially when the boy was this possessive. He had to admit, he rather liked this side of his mate. It was nice to know Adair didn’t want be with anyone else and that the boy didn’t want his mate to be stolen away. In a way, it was cute, but he was sure those two girls didn’t agree. They weren’t taking this well and one of them had begun to glare at Adair. He had thought she was about to hit the boy, but she turned and walked away. Her friend followed and the two stormed out of the place, curing the whole way. Somehow, he had a feeling more girls like that would find their way into his life. He didn’t have a fondness for women, but it seemed that didn’t matter because they showed up at the least expected times.
“Well…I guess this means they won’t stay for ice cream,” Drake said lightly, trying to break Adair from his jealousy. “Ne, don’t worry. I won’t leave you for someone else. You’re the one I love the most and no one will ever replace you. Even if someone else tries to take me from you, I won’t let them, alright? You worry a lot, but there’s nothing going on. Those girls weren’t cute like you anyway.”

“My brother wasn’t home when I left,” shrugged Zach. “Whether he has returned or not is a mystery to me. Does it matter than much to you? If he catches you or not doesn’t really matter to me anyway. Who knows? It might…be fun. He’ll dislike you for sure, though, but don’t take it personally. Your existence itself it enough to anger him and make him want to hit you.”
Drake was the sort of person that did as he pleased and didn’t consider the feelings of others most of the time. Zach didn’t know what the other was up to unless something was wrong. When something was wrong, the blonde acted out of character. He’d mop around or sometimes snap at people only to break into a long rant about what a bad day he was having. Sometimes the other ate large amounts of sweets or things like that. Most of the things his ‘brother’ did made no sense to Zach. Then again, he didn’t make much sense of anything. People in general confused the boy. Humans were irrational and did things that seemed off, but Morgan and Drake weren’t human. That’s why he wondered why their actions were so much like a human’s. Perhaps both species was full of morons. That made sense. Drake had always come off as an idiot and Morgan seemed to be pretty stupid too. No matter what the other’s excuses were, Zach wasn’t going to let him off easy for his ignorance. He supposed he’d have to teach the other everything now. It was better than having a retarded mate.
“You’re Zercan, but you’re not strong enough to beat me,” Zach stated plainly. “Even if your race is superior to humans, I still have more strength than you. People tend to have foolish reasons for doing things. Unless it affects me, I don’t care. Let others do as they please. They don’t matter to me. It’s true you can’t know a person just by looking about them. Some people hide things well and give you the wrong impression by their appearance. It’s…so troublesome. I suppose it’d be easier to know someone just by their looks, but that might also make things worse. But…I don’t want to get to know anyone. I don’t want to know what they’re like, so I don’t care what their appearance or personality is like. You aren’t trained to fight. Though you look strong, you’re not. You won’t last in a fight with another Zercan. Don’t overexert yourself.”
He didn’t get this person at all. But this was the man he was pretty much stuck with now. He reminded him of Drake a little. The two liked to fight. It seemed that most males liked to pick fight with others, though the boy couldn’t understand why. Fighting someone didn’t really prove anything. Violence was stupid. Zach didn’t usually start something, but there were occasions when he’d raise his fists. If he found a good reason to fight, then he would. Of course, he could already fight well. Though he looked small, he had already learned to fight. He had decided to never become a victim. He’d always been the victim when he had been small. He’d been weak, helpless, and thought of as something pitiful. That’s why he’d wanted to become strong. He’d learned to take care of himself. He had decided already to never let anyone stand up for him. He’d do it himself and not let anyone else to fight for him or get hurt because of him. He wanted to do things on his own and be able to become independent. So he had taught himself to fight and learned things from Drake and the people he watched when they weren’t looking. That’s how he had learned. The boy paused when the other spoke again. He stopped walking for a second and turned to face the other. Somehow, he had gotten a bit farther up ahead from Morgan.
“I’m stuck with you,” he shrugged. “I just wanted to see if there was anything about you remotely interesting or intelligent.”

Normally, Adair was a people person. He got along with nearly everyone, despite what they thought about him or said to him. There weren't many situations that the boy could remember where he'd been so rude as he'd been to the two girls to anyone else prior. He didn't like to yell or to cause trouble and tended to avoid doing those things if at all possible. But, whenever those girls had talked to Drake, something had just snapped in Adair's mind. All of a sudden, there was something that he felt possessive over and that was the blode half breed he had been sitting in the lap of. It was unreasonable to think such things, but he didn't want anyone else to get close to Drake. It felt almost like that if anyone else became even remotely friendly with the half Zercan, the younger boy would be pushed away and forgotten. There was nothing he feared more than being alone and he felt that if this person decided that he didn't love him anymore, he would be absolutely alone from then on. All he wanted was for Drake to stay with him and he would've done anything to keep the older boy in his life and this did include chasing off any school girls that wanted to take away the person he loved.
"Drake..." Adair whimpered, almost feeling bad about chewing out the girls before. His conscience was chewing at him, though not near enough to make him dislodge himself from the other's lap to chase the girls down and apologize. Both parties involved would eventually get over it, right? He knew he would, at least. He scooted closer to the other yet, gripping lightly at the fabric of the other's shirt. Eyes closed, he nuzzled into the crook of Drake's neck with a small sigh, "I'm glad you won't ever leave me. I don't ever want you to go away. I won't let anyone take you away, either."
His tone was shy and his voice was soft as he confessed his relief. It seemed to naturally be a little bit embarrassing to tell someone such things even if Adair had no idea what sort of relationship he and the older boy had. People didn't just tell each other these kinds of things everyday, or so he assumed. Telling someone that you didn't ever want them to leave you seemed deep and meaningful to him. It didn't seem like some phrase that you could just throw at someone and not mean without seeming like a completely cold hearted jerk. Being that he ha dmeant what he'd said, he doubted that he could've been perceived as such... Well, by anyone besides the two girls from a few minutes previous.
"Drake, can we go back to your place soon? People keep bothering us out here," Adair sighed, his voice showing just how frustrated he was starting to get. First that waitress had bothered him and then those two school girls. All he wanted was to be with Drake and maybe some ice cream. He hadn't wanted people to keep interrupting them or to try and take the other away from him. Peace, quiet, and some sugar wouldn't made his night even more wonderful than it was already turning out to be. Adair opened his eyes finally, staring into the distance before his curiosity kicked in. Experimentally, he leaned in and placed a small kiss at the base of the half Zercan's neck before shifting upwards to whisper in his ear, "Please?"
