Xemas wrapped arms around him, petting his hair. He felt happy again, not like a perpetual dark cloud had been hanging over him all week. “Of course I’ll stay. Here….” The incubus shifted them around until they could lay. If Ssitris was tired, he didn’t want him overstressing himself.

((I work until 5:30 EST))
He sighed a bit, and snuggled into the sheets, yawning. It'd be hard, to carry and raise this child...but at least things were starting to get better, right? After all, Xemas, no matter how young he was, was taking a huge leap and offering to be it's father. Offering to love him and the baby, no matter what.
That made him feel....warm...and fuzzy, as cliche` as that was.

Xemas pulled the blankets up around them, reaching for the light after a second. The door opened and Celrie poked his head in. “Eravan called. I have to get back, are you coming,” he asked softly, raising a brow at them.” Xemas shook his head, motioning him away.
“I’m going to stay here tonight. Tell the big doofus goodnight for me. Later Cel.”
“Night Xe, night Ssitris.” His friend gave them a giant smile before closing the door.
///
“Looks like they’ve made up,” he gathered his shoes and stopped back in the living room. “They’re all cuddled up, and Xemas is staying the night. I’ll call tomorrow to make sure he headed off to work. Take it easy you two.” Celrie tugged his shoes on and rebut toned his coat, waving before showing himself out.
((Alrighty! I'll be on around....5:30-6:00, my time *nods*))

Ryle smiled in return and when the door closed he sighed in relief. "That's good. I'm happy they made up....and I'm glad Ssitris feels better."
M'lon simply mumbled something irritably, only to get smacked.
((couldn't think of anything!))

Xemas laid quietly for some time, stroking Ssitris’ hair and just….listening to the man breath. He loved just knowing that the other was beside him and they weren’t arguing anymore. “You know what? I forgot to tell you….I got a new apartment a block from Celrie’s. And I’m working three jobs now. Maybe if…well, when you feel better and all, maybe you’d like to spend some time there with me. And after awhile….you could move in maybe? I mean, well, it’s a big decision and all so…” Theincubus bit his tongue to stop himself from mumbling anf instead turned his attention to gently rubbing Ssitris’ stomach, careful of his still tender wounds.
((Me and my little brother have to go to the doctors cause we're sick. I should be back still around 5:30-6:00. I don't think it'll be any later!))

In the darkness, he blushed and smiled to himself. "I'd...I'd like that." He didn't want to well....move in until the baby came, or was close to coming...just in case something happened between them. Not that he had any worries. With Xemas, he just felt...right.

"Good," he murmured, letting his head rest on the pillows beside Ssitris' head. His feet didn't reach all the way to the others and he felt sort of...childish being so small, but just laying here, being with him...it was right...
"Get some rest Ssitris. You were sick today, huh? Celrie told me about last time..."

"I...I wasn't sick at the hospital. I was...just really mad at you." He yawned and nuzzled the pillow, sleep slowly creeping it's way over him.

"I know..." he murmured and sighed against blonde hair, holding him. He hoped he never made Ssitris that mad at him again. "Goodnight," he was quiet for a second before he leaned forward and kissed him softly on the forehead. Not too brash, but caring. He wanted the man to know he'd be there.

He smiled with his eyes still closed, sleepily though. And soon, with the warmth of the younger next to him, he slowly fell asleep.

~Four Months Later~
Xemas rushed around frantically, making sure everythign was just about perfect. Ssitris had been by early, when the apartment was just starting to look nice, he hadn't been back since. The incubus had upgraded to a higher job in the hospital-full maintenance, and he was actually being paid for it. That had given him the chance to buy comfortable furniture for his pregnant boyfriend.
The incubus sighed and leaned against the counter, making sure the refrigerator was stocked and relaxed. Celrie had taken him last night to a club-just to sit and soak up the energy so he wouldn't get those urges he'd been having, and now his best friend was stopping by M'lons to pick Ssitris up and make sure he reached the apartment safely. Xems would've gone himself, but he wanted everythign to look good. He'd gone from being a nobody, to somebody, and he wanted Ssitris to see he could support them.
///
Celrie moved down the sidewalk, happily humming, knocking on M'lon's door. He didn't know who was working or who was home, so he didn't bother walking in like he would normally.

Ssitris groaned. He'd just sat down too.... He grumbled to himself and placed his bowl of crackers and milk on the side table next to the couch.
He placed one hand firmly on the arm rest and the other on the seat next to him, attempting to hoist himself up. After an unsuccessful try, he simply gave up. He'd learned a week ago that trying endlessly to get his large self up required too much energy, and he didn't care remembering how he had come to that conclusion. He heaved a sigh and took a deep breath; "If it's someone I know, come in! If not go away!" he shouted loudly before panting a bit and pouting.

Celrie stifled a giggle and opened the door. "Ah, it's just you on your lonesome, hm? Good, i'm safe." The vampire didn't bother taking off his shoes and went to the livingroom, smiling brightly.
"Xemas wanted me to drag you away, but, we can call and harass him to come over if need be. You feel up to a walk?"

He sighed a bit. "Later..." he whined, stiring his concoction as it rested on his round stomache. Well, at least he always had a tray. "I just woke up, and my back already hurts..." he pouted again.

"Okay, it'll give him time to worry over the millions of other things he left undone." Celrie took off his shoes and sat beside him, leaning back with a sigh.
"Oh! I better call. You want to talk to him?" He flipped out his watch, calling up Xemas. The incubus answered moodily.
"Where are you at? If you call and say you got lost again just to make me run around town, you're a dead vampire," he growled and Celrie laughed.
"No...that's not it. Ssitris just got up. I'll bring him by later when he's ready." Xemas nodded, defeated. He'd learned early enough not to get the pregnant man riled or pissed.
