Ssitris grumbled irritably as he ducked under a ledge. He hated his stupid mother, and his stupid father, and his stupid stupid stupid brothers!!!
Once again, his mother forced another potential mate upon him. This time, he had crossed the line...
"Mom, I don't want to!!"
"Sweetie, he's really nice!"
"Yeah, Nice until he gets me alone in some dark corner where he can rape me!!"
"Ssitris!!!"
"Mom!!" he mocked angrilly. "Why do you keep doing this!? I told you I don't want a mate!!!"
"Because I'm your mother, I know what's best for you. You know I do...now come down stairs and meet him." He had gone to touch him, and Ssitris had angrilly pushed him away, although he was the one to land on his backside. His mother had looked angry, and the next thing he knew...
He hissed in pain when a twing scrapped against his cheek, cutting it. "Ow...." he mumbled pathetically, rubbing his now bleeding skin. Great...now he'd have to watch out for hungry Vampires who ignored the law. He sighed and looked around.
Wait...
A branch... He sniffed a bit, eyes fully adjusting to the darkness he hadn't noticed taking over. He was in the woods. "Dammit!!" He swore, kicking at a pile of leaves. True, he was Jshiko, but he had never stepped foot in the forests alone. In fact, he hardly ever stepped outside his house. He hated the outdoors, hated the city, hated the planet. Nothing ever good came of it.
And now he was lost.
His shoulders hunched over and he dragged himself in a random direction, praying it was the right way back to the city--no matter how many creatures leered and grabbed at him as he had passed by, it had to be better than being in a dark forest outside city limits by himself. Well...if he only knew how to fight or something, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
He stepped over various roots, shuffled through a thick layer of dead leaves, and shuddered at the sounds of the creatures he couldn't see.
He gave a small cry when he slipped, and fell into a sink hole, large enough to be cramped up inside, legs twisted uncomfortably beneith him. He had the worst luck...he really did.
He slowly began to climb out, but found himself sinking lower. "What the--!?" He grabbed at the soil above him, only causing the opening to grow larger, chunks of moist, cold and dark soil breaking off in his hands and burrowing under his usually clean nails.
The soil benieth him sunk lower and lower, water slowly beginning to seep up against his legs. Great...he was going to drown!!!!
His mind ran in circles frantically, should he cry out for help??? But if he did, then what would come, and whatever did come, would it save him and then leave him alone? Or would it have an ultirior motive???
When the freezing water filled to his thighs, he finally deciedes; 'There's no way I'm going to die like this!!!' And finally opens his mouth, and with the loudest voice he could possibly muster, screamed for help.
