Manni jerked up when he heard Barit fling the door open. Lakin looked scared to death and the Zercan just raised an eyebrow and laughed. "Aw, isn't that cute?" Barit walked into the room tossed the clothes to Lakin. "One would almost think you two were mates," he sniggered.

Lakin barely caught the clothes Barit threw after he said that. Mates? He tried to tell himself that was obserd, but he couldn't. "Mates...?" he mumbled, glancing at Barit.
Barit just smirked and shrugged. "Yeah."
That would explain why he was feeling this way. Because Manni was his... mate. A smile slowly grew on his face. "Yeah...," he mumbled. "Manni's... my mate," he said slowly and smiled widely at Manni.

Manni smiled brightly. "Yeah. That's sounds about right," he said softly. He crawled into Lakin's lap and kissed his cheek. Barit rolled his eyes left the room.
"Don't get too mushy, you two! You'll forget to eat!" he yelled before closing the door.

Lakin just laughed at Berit's comment and kissed Manni back. He wrapped his arm aroun him tightly and trailed butterfly kisses down his neck. He quickly trailed back up to the boy's mouth before pulling away. "I'm glad I got on the wrong ship," he mumbled, giving his mate an eskimo kiss.

Manni smiled lazily and looked at Lakin through half-lidded eyes. He kissed him once before pulling away just enough to talk. "Yeah... me too," he mumbled. He pulled the ponytail out of Lakin's hair before running his hands through it and laying his head on his mate's shoulder.

Lakin couldn't stop smiling. This was so amazing. He planted a kiss on top of the brunette's head. "Hmm," he mumbled softly and traced his fingers along Manni's side. "As much as I love sitting here with... I think we should go down to breakfast. You need to eat your fruit," he laughed quietly but didn't move.

Manni pouted. "Don't make fun of my fancy of fruit," he mumbled into Lakin's neck. He lifted his head. "Fine. Get dressed then we'll go to the cafeteria." 'Or you could go like that,' he thought. But the thought of other people spying his mate made him angry, so he changed his mind about that. He sighed and cuddled up against Lakin's body. "Mmm. You're warm."

Manni giggled at the nickname. "Nope! I'm comfortable." Then his stomach grumbled loudly. "Oh.. hehehehe. I guess I am kinda hungry," he laughed as he fumbled his way to his feet.

Lakin picked up the clothes Barit gave him and headed into the bathroom, but not before giving Manni a quick kiss. The white t-shirt and tan pants were a bit baggy, but it worked. He pulled his hair up into a high ponytail before heading out. "Alright, let's go!" he smiled, and wrapped his arm around Manni's thin waist.

Manni smiled up at Lakin and placed his head on his mate's shoulder. When they arrived at the cafeteria Manni lead the way to the same table they had sat at for dinner the night before. Soon, the Jshiko and the blue-haired Sensaforian joined them as well.

Lakin smiled at the two pilots that sat down at the table while Manni waved at them. He noticed that they were staring at his arm, which was around Manni's waist, curiously so he smiled. He wasn't sure if he should tell them that they were mates or if the brunette wanted to tell. So he looked down and gave him a questioning look.

Manni returned the questioning look. The Sensaforian, cleverly named Orange, cleared his throat.
"Uh... I'm guessing something happened last night," he stated with a sly smirk. Manni blushed and nodded. Barit arrived, then, and gave the brunette a big pat on the back, making him wince slightly.
"Who would've guessed? The little quiet one that hardly ever leaves the ship finds a mate before all the rest of us! Don't think anyone saw that one coming!" he laughed good-naturedly. Orange raised an eyebrow and Manni kicked him under the table.
"Don't make fun of me! I'm not so interaverted!" That only made the three pilots laugh.
"You're only friends growing up were an AI and a book. What else would you call that?"

Lakin glared at the humanoid angrily. How dare he disrespect his mate so! "Just because no one noticed what a clever person Manni is doesn't mean there is anything wrong with him," he hissed at the surprised looking Sensaforian.
Orange suddenly found himself being flipped over backwards in his chair as the chair flew upwards. Lakin's eyes widened in surprise as he relized he'd let his powers get out of control again and the chair fell from the air next to the poor blue-haired humanoid.

Manni stared wide-eyed as Orange was dropped to the ground. "W-.... Wow! That was so cool!" That caused Barit and Zelg, the Jshiko, to laugh as Orange struggled to his feet with a scowl.
"Jeez man! I was only joking! Ow! I think I broke something!"
Manni rolled his eyes."You baby! The only thing broken is your pride, admit it!"
The other Humaniod glared at him. "You're not the one that was dropped on his butt! I'd like to see how you'd feel if the same thing happened to you!"
Barit chuckled. "Would you calm down? Manni, why don't you order for us? Hmm?"
Manni blushed. "But last time I got in trouble."
Zelg smirked. "That's what you say everytime. But, everytime you do it anyway."
