Manni smiled at Lakin, he could tell Captain liked him by the goofy smile on his face. Manni nodded in agreement to Lakin's question.
"Yeah! Can he? See, he accidentally got on the wrong ship and came here. So, I thought that since we were going to Sensaforia anyway that we could drop him off!" Captain raised an eyebrow at Manni's excited behavior. "Well, can he?"
Captain sighed. "I don't mind, just as long as he isn't a bottomless pit, like you are." Manni blushed.
"I don't eat THAT much...." He abashedly stuffed his hands in his pockets and hid his face. Captain only laughed.
"Suuuure you don't. Anyway, I don't think we have any extra rooms. He'll have to share with you then. Ya know? And as long as he earns his room and board, I don't mind."

"Thank so much, Captain!" Lakin said excitedly. "I've never worked on a ship before, but I'm sure I can do whatever you tell me to, Sir!" He smiled at the man and glance over at Manni, he looked a little upset from the bottomless pit comment. If it was true that the boy ate a lot, it sure didn't look like it.
He sighed inwardly, happy that he had found Manni. Or, actually, that Manni had found him. The thought of sharing a room with the brunette made him feel a little excited. He felt bad about it though and didn't know why he wanted to be near him. Maybe it was just because he was so nice? Yeah, that was it.

Manni could feel Lakins excitement, for what he didn't know. Getting to see his parents? That was probably it. Captain gave an approving laugh before walking away, back to the ship.
"Well.... Let's go. We still have awhile while the crew unloads the goods, but I can show you around. Do you have any luggage?"

Lakin's eyes widened at the single word 'luggage'. "Oh crap!" he mumbled. "My luggage!" he shouted, getting a few stares but he didn't care. "I don't know where it is. It could still be on that ship or it might be on Sensaforia by now." He hit himself on the forehead angrily. "The ship I was on has already left by now," he said angrily, biting his lip. He sighed. "Oh well," he mumbled, glad he hadn't brought anything valuable with him.

Manni frowned slightly. What would he do without his things? Certainly he had brought things of sentimental value.
"Umm... well, I'm sure we can find someone we can borrow clothes from. I'll take you shopping at Parinenai and we'll get you some stuff, okay? You probably don't want to shop here. This place gives me the creeps." He stood and rubbed his chilled hands together. He looked down at Lakin with a soft smile then waved for the boy to follow him as he traveled back towards the ship.

"I don't like the sunless sky," Lakin said when they started walking. "Hmm.... I live on Parinenai. I can pick up some things from my house when we stop there," he explained to Manni. "I don't think I can thank you enough for offering to let me go on your ship!" he said after a few minutes of silence. He gave Manni a soft smile. "You really saved me a lot of trouble," he said softly.

"Don't worry about it," Manni stated, flippantly waving his hand, "It's no big deal. At least now... err, for a little while I'll have some to help me around the ship. Well, besides Ongi, 'cause he's more of a hinderance." After a moment of silence and walking Manni cleared his throat. "You're from Parinenai? I'm from Mentsiquar. But, I didn't like it, it was so smoggy there. So, after I started working for Captain, the first place we went was Parinenai. I love that place, it's so nice there." Manni blushed once he realized he was rambling and jabbed his hands back in his pockets.

Lakin smiled when Manni blushed and quieted. "I love living on Parinenai," he said. "It's beautiful. You must travel alot, working on a ship," he pondered. "I've only visited Sensaforia...twice and of course I've been on Jeskara this once," he rolled his eyes at himself and laughed. "I still can't believe I went on the wrong ship."

"Well... I'm not really sure," he said blushing lightly. "I went to the wrong dock, first thing. I checked the sign that said where the ship was going and I saw 'Sensaforia' written on it so I just assumed it was the right one. It was really stupid of me," Lakin said and laughed nervously.

Manni tried not to laugh, Lakin was obviously embarressed. But, the boy just looked so cute when he blushed like that!......... Wait, what? Manni shook his head, trying, now, to conceal his own flushed cheeks.
He glanced up at Lakin, but noticed the Obidiah right behind him. They'd completely walked past it! He stopped, staring bewildered at it for a moment, then bust out laughing.

Laking blushed brightly when Manni suddenly started laughing. Was it really 'that' funny? He bit his lip for a moment before he relized that he was staring at a ship called the Obidiah that they'd just past. "W-what's funny?" he asked hesitantly.

Manni sucked in a few breaths of air to calm him down then smiled brightly at his companion. "I was so distracted that I didn't even notice when we walked right by my ship!" He sniggered a bit at himself then turned and started to walk towards the huge spaceship.

Lakin smiled and followed Manni to the ship. It was huge, a lot bigger than the one he was on ealier. "Do you think the crew will like me?" he asked. "Or at least accept me for the little time I'll be here?"

Manni led the boy through a series of long, narrow passages towards the sleeping corridors. "Of course they will! They're really nice, just kinda crude. You learn to ignore their nasty tongues after awhile."
